It's the Basics!

I've been going back through my posts and adding links, which I didn't do for about eleven years, and I still have about three more years to fill in. This has been a lot of work, but it's allowed me to see some great old posts by excellent writers, some of which I've reposted to show how little things change with leftists and false conservatives.  

The problem is many of the links no longer work since either the article or the web site no longer exists. However, I came across a post about the difference between how conservatives and liberals debate. The writer stated:  

One of the best experiences in my formal education was participating in debate. We were taught how to cogently and logically make a case for a given point of view and how to effectively rebut the arguments of the opposition. As I listen to liberal politicians and pundits, I find myself wondering what ever happened to cogency and logic in political discourse. It seems to me that liberals no longer know how to debate political issues. In most political debates and discussions, liberals seem to quickly cast aside logic and facts in favor of mud-slinging, name calling, and ad hominem attacks on their opponents. Their favorite tactic seems to be labeling opponents as “racists.”

This pattern is now playing out to the nth degree, and not just this year, this has been the theme for many years, and society - at least it appears to me - is sick of the racial-industrial-complex, and the disaster they're creating in society. Even mathematics is now racist.  The real question is:  What isn't racist to race baiters?

I've stated over and over again the very real fundamental problem that needs fixed is education in America, starting with kindergarten through higher education. It's in dire need of reform and that reform needs to start with eliminating teacher's unions.  Then getting the federal government out of the mix and start that by eliminating the Department of Education.  Then end funding to institutions of "higher" learning.  End grants and student loans, and make them 'for profit' institutions taxing them in the same way any other business is taxed, including the endowments.

Do you wonder how and why so many young people are out there burning down their future?  Why so many hate America.  Why so many love Bernie Sanders?  The do so because their ignorant of history and reality.  And worse yet, they're arrogant in their ignorance.  It's impossible to discuss anything with them without a demonstration of their emotional arrogance and an arrogant dismissal of anything that doesn't fit the leftist narrative of the moment.  Which is subject to change on any given day.  

Ask them what a logical fallacy is.  They don't know!  Ask them who are various people that appear daily in the news. For that matter, a substantial number won't even know who's the Vice President.  Most of them are clueless.  Ask then how they feel about Karl Marx running as a third party candidate.  Don't be surprised at their responses, and their level of ignorance. Arrogant ignorance!

More importantly, that arrogant ignorance has become dangerous, and that danger didn't just start with the Occupy Wall Street movement, Black Lives Matter or Antifa.

On December 16, 2013 Joseph Klein published the article, "The Alarming Rise of Campus Anti-Semitism", saying: 

Anti-Semitism on U.S. college campuses is growing at an alarming rate. It has escalated to the point that Jewish students on campuses have been physically attacked or threatened for peacefully demonstrating their support of Israel. Events demonizing Jews and even glorifying the murderers of Jews, in the guise of anti-Israel rhetoric, are tolerated by campus administrators despite the hostile environment such events create for Jewish students who are open about their beliefs in support of the Jewish state. 

Title VI of the Civil Rights act of 1964 prohibits various forms of discrimination at federally funded programs, including higher educational institutions, but the Obama administration’s Department of Education has so far refused to enforce it against federally funded universities and colleges that have allowed anti-Semitic harassment of Jewish students to go on with relative impunity. 

For example, in a letter rejecting a complaint that had accused a California state university of allowing a hostile environment for Jewish students to exist on campus, the education department’s Office for Civil Rights wrote: “In the university environment, exposure to such robust and discordant expressions, even when personally offensive and hurtful, is a circumstance that a reasonable student in higher education may experience. In this context, the events that the complainants described do not constitute actionable harassment.”

Yet snowflakes at these institutions need to be sheltered and receive counseling if their little leftist feelings are hurt by some mean evil conservative's views being expressed on campus. I wonder if these students were Muslims, blacks, or homosexuals would they take the same tact? 

We have lost our minds allowing leftist anti-Semitic, anti-white, anti-capitalist, anti-Christian, anti-conservative, anti-tradition,  anti-constitution and anti-American maniacs to be in charge of education in America.  The fundamental need to educate our children properly has been destroyed.

 Until we fix education, nothing else will work. It's the basics!
