Powerline is one of the web sites that's in my daily search pattern, and they have a weekly feature called The Week In Pictures.  For some reason most of those pictures can't be reproduced here at P&D..... so.... as in the past I created an article that uses those pictures as the basis for a bit of commentary, mostly snarky commentary.   So, let's started.

Whoopie Goldberg once said Dr. Jill Biden should be the Surgeon General as she's a great doctor. Her degree is in education. She once said Pete Hegseth was totally unqualified to be the Secretary of Defense because he knew nothing about the military. Of course Whoopi's a military expertise comes from her years playing a bartender on Star Trek Next Generation. Oh, wait, that was fiction. So, her vast experience in fiction supersedes his distinguished military career? Did I get that right? I didn't miss anything did I? Do we see a pattern here? Is it any wonder Donald Trump has buildings named after him, and Whoopi has a cushion that makes noise. 

Mamdani thinks New York City would do well to embrace the warmth of socialism. Why? Because he loves how Castro redecorated Havana, and is sure New York City could easily be transformed by embracing the warmth of socialism.  He's not one to just sit around and do nothing.  He's already started that process with a homeless camp that stretches 12 city blocks, with the homeless stealing the cities power.  What could possible go wrong?  

A recent far left protestor was interviewed who is white, college educated, comes from a privileged back ground and is sick and tired of the way America is run. She's filled with depression and anxiety, confused about her gender, unemployed because she earned a worthless degree in gender studies, as in serious debt for her student loans, dyes her hair blue, and while being a vegan she has no impulse control and is grossly overweight, with tattoos over her whole body.

Why is she protesting? Because she has all the answers that will fix the country.  A disgusting nation which is a racist, homophobic, misogynist, xenophobic, Islamophobic hole that should be required to pay off her student loans. She knows deodorants are a big con, stupid decisions by the young aren't irrational, it's growth. She's sick and tired of all this talk about "what is a woman", and believes Dr. Rachel Levine, Sarah McBride and Ashley Webb should be empaneled to answer that question and end this issue with Dylan Mulvaney as the moderator.  And academia debates why the birth rates are dropping?  She promptly ended her protest by leaving in an offended huff when she was offered a job application. 

The theme for leftists has always been it's the educated elite who should be deciding how the world should be governed. As it turns out Harvard's class of 2026 has a substantial number of those claiming to be suffering from mental illness; a disturbing 47%, with another 13% who weren't sure if they were nuts of not. However, there's a bright note here.  Harvard's students had lower rates of "depression, anxiety, had less suicidal tendencies compared to national averages for college campuses."  So, let me see if I understand that correctly.  A substantial number of Harvard's students are nuts but not as nuts as the rest of the nation's students in academia?  So, let's get some clarity here.  These are the people who the left wants to anoint as the nation's future leaders?  Did I get that right? One more thought.  A substantial number of homosexual academics march in support of Islam.  Could that be considered mental illness?  

There are three things that all geopolitics are predicated on.  Geographics, demographics, and economics.  Europe is failing in all three, especially demographics.   Soon the Leaning Tower of Pisa will be turned into a minaret, the Mona Lisa will have to be repainted with a face veil and head scarf, and Big Ben will be renamed Big Bin Laden. 

Some time back I went out on Lake Erie fishing with my cousin on his boat, and he noted most of not all the boat owners at his marina were Trump supporters.  I found that interesting, but actually the answer is really simple.  There's no government program that gives boats away.

Recently a young boy told his mother when he grew up to be a man he wanted to be a Democrat. His mother told him he could be one or the other.

Ole Joe McCarthy Just Won't Die!

It's strange after all these years and all the vilification, some deserved, that's been heaped on Joe McCarthy while he was alive and after he died, he's still an issue with a lot of writers and history buffs....especially of the conservative persuasion.... where unlike Howard Zinn, Nikole Hannah-Jones and Kerri K. Greenidge, facts and actual history matter to them.

 On June 30th I published this piece I'm Sorry, But Joe McCarthy Was Right! I started out saying:

Yesterday Susan Quinn post this article over at American Thinker, Do we need another Joe McCarthy?, which must have made leftists heads explode.  She went on to answer her question saying:  The short answer to the title is a no! But, aspects of McCarthy’s anti-communist campaign are worth considering when the stability of our nation is jeopardized by communist ideologues. 

Her article is well worth reading, however, I will say perhaps her short answer should be re-evaluated.  The controversy surrounding Joe McCarthy involved his character, and at best, he was not a nice person, subject to lying and making unsubstantiated accusations.   In spite of the Hollywood crowd's rants about McCarthyism, he wasn't the one who went after Hollywood.  That was the Democrats in the House on UN-American Activities Committee, which was the:

"U.S. House of Representatives investigative committee active from 1938 to 1975 that targeted alleged subversion, Communist ties, and UN-American propaganda. It became a permanent standing committee in 1945, was renamed the Internal Security Committee in 1969, and was dissolved in 1975".   

That was before Democrats became the Party of Treason.  I recommend reading the linked article, you will find it interesting.  The question everyone should be asking is why these communists were trying to hide? The answer is simple.  If they were active party members they were required to act as Stalin's Soviet agents working and spying against the United States.  

McCarthy's committee was in the Senate and his focus was on communist infiltration of the government.  While he didn't have the proof for many of his claims, the fact is the intelligence agencies did, we know that for sure with the release of the VENONA intercepts, and McCarthy .... in an overall way.... was right.  Perhaps the Senate needs to re-evaluate the worth of another such committee.  

In my article I went into a deeper explanation about all of that and how the Roosevelt administration was the most infiltrated government in history.   

On July 26th the Canada Free Press published this piece by Ray DiLorenzo,  McCarthy Was Right, saying:

There were and still are domestic enemies in the form of Marxists ready to devour our great nation. This time let's not worry about whose feelings we hurt.......Senator McCarthy is best known for his post-war struggle to make America aware that under Democrat administrations communists had infiltrated our institutions, including the United States government and our entire education system. Now, even the Smithsonian has succumbed to this infection........

Let's be clear, the search for card-carrying communists in our government was not a witch hunt. It was and should remain a legitimate pursuit of those who are actively engaged in destroying our system of government, eliminating our middle class, and creating an underclass of people subservient to an autocratic, oligarchic, privileged few....... Only this time the battle has widened. Communism and Islam have merged. They are using each other to eliminate their mutual enemies: Christianity, freedom, and the West.

The Rosenbergs were executed for passing atomic bomb secrets to the Soviet Union, and the left railed against that.  But... as I said.... information gathered from the VENONA intercepts is what got them caught.  Information they didn't share with the rest of the government or the courts.  The author expands on this saying:

Among the more infamous, Alger Hiss, a Soviet spy who worked for Presidents Roosevelt and Truman in the State Department, and communists Julius Rosenberg, a U.S. Army Signal Corps engineer under Truman, along with his wife Ethel Rosenberg, were convicted of passing military and nuclear technology to the Soviets and acting as recruiters. They were executed in 1953. These cases demonstrate that Democrats repeatedly failed to eliminate Soviet infiltration from their ranks.

Liberals, of course, defended the Rosenbergs. Books were written in their defense. One such book, written in 1983, The Rosenberg File, believed in their innocence and, like many other liberals, condemned the leaving of two small children with no parents. Later, when presented with the evidence, they changed their mind. The book is still available, but with a rewritten foreword.

Khrushchev, having died in 1971, previously dictated over 300 hours of memoirs on two sets of reel-to-reel audiotape. The original set was confiscated, but his son, Sergei, made two copies of each reel and gave them to others for safekeeping. The final blow occurred in 1999 with the release of Nikita Khrushchev's complete memoirs. Khrushchev was heard praising the Rosenbergs for their effort to bring nuclear bomb technology to the Soviet people.  

If McCarthy's personal character had been more stable, and if he had gone about his investigation professionally I've often wondered what the outcome would have been.   As it is now, this latest Marxist transformation along with their Islamic allies, including elected officials in Congress, aren't trying to hide who they are, what they are, and what their goals are.  They're openly declaring they're Marxists, and they're demanding the end of the Constitution and the imposition of Soviet style tyranny.  

When Netanyahu asked what most concerned him about America he answered:

 "I'm worried about the reasons that leading Democrats have said privately – one of them said it actually publicly – on why they joined the radical fringe,"...... "And the reason is that their family's been harassed, that they're afraid of being tailed everywhere and being intimidated by this radical fringe."

Violence, threats and intimidation has always been the trend of these radicals, and if the polls are right, 29% of the population finds that acceptable, 38% finds that unacceptable and 45% doesn't care.  But among the Democrat/Independent cabal, 61% think they have a place in the Democrat party.  And we're shocked..... Right?

P&D and the Week That Was

This week I've only posted three articles of my own, and in spite of my intent to only publish my own work from now on, I've included one by Joe Fried, Trump claims election fraud was covered up...Is he right?, and did so because it's absolutely excellent.  Joe's lives in Northern Ohio by the way.   

My personal censor at Blogger deleted that article, but someone must be watching him as I protested that action and it's back online the next day.  Another reason I wanted to post his piece is because for years.... years mind you.... is was obvious to me voter fraud is a major issue, and has been for many years.   

You know that little voice in your head that keeps you from saying the things you shouldn't say? Yeah, I don't have that, and it was totally obvious to me and should have been obvious to the most casual observer.  Yet for years prominent people arrogantly ridiculed my views on that.  Prominence and smarts don't necessarily go hand in hand.  But history, reality and time are on the same side....Truth! And.... watch out now... here it comes..... the autodidact bugman was right....again.  Imagine that?

No matter what your views are on life, there are some things that are absolutely foundational.  First, life is about patterns and circles. Patterns of behavior, and the social circles prompting that behavior, and those the patterns of life repeat over and over again.  

If we go through life expecting the best behavior out of humanity, we will live lives of eternal disappointment, because people will always be people, culture is king, and corruption is queen.  That's "the basics" and everything is "the basics".  See things at their foundational level because the more complicated we perceive reality, the less clarity we will possess. 

If you pay close attention to what people say and do, they will eventually tell you who and what they really want and who they really are, because time, reality and history are on the same side; truth! 

One final thought.  Does everyone wonder why people who left nations that are disasters came to America and have worked to turn America into the disasters they left?   Victor Davis Hanson wonders about that also.   

 

Everything is "The Basics"

See things in their simplest possible terms. Focus on the root of the problem. All problems are simple and have simple solutions. Like branches of a tree it’s the ancillary problems that keep getting attached to the primary problem that make it seem complicated. Destroy the root and the tree dies. The ancillary problems fall to the ground and take root as separate problems, which can then be easily overcome. Don’t let your ego or personal problems get in the way. 

The mind follows the heart, so the search for truth, and the defense of truth, is an unending task that must be a lifelong effort for those who write about issues, and my goal was has always been to search out what's true, publicize it, and be prepared to stand against the slings and arrows of the liars and corrupt self promoters, but, I never trained to be a writer.

I was a bugman for 40 years, who not only wasn't trained to be a writer, as I'm an autodidact, and beyond high school, where I was a lousy student, I have no formal training about any of the many issues I write about, whether it involves history, science, economics, domestic policy or, foreign affairs. 

When I started writing so many years ago I dealt with issues involving the structural pest control industry, challenging the claims, lies, and tyranny of the environmental movement and their catspaws in government against the use of pesticides, most of which only appeared in the newsletter I created for our local pest control association called Nuf Ced, which was sent out to the members, along with an e-newsletter I called Green Notes to a broader industry base.

I created Paradigms and Demographics in order to be able to expound on these issues more fully, and continued my efforts to defend the pest control industry's use of pesticides and the use of fertilizers by agriculture.   Here are my commentaries on  DDT, pesticides, the Endangered Species Act, and the list goes on, but P&D was still at that time foundationally a "green only issues" blog.  

Once again I expanded deciding P&D should be a pro-humanity blog .  It was increasingly obvious I couldn't discuss green issues without discussing leftism, as "green" is a sect of the secular religion we call leftism, which I've demonstrated in my commentaries.   Being anti-green is being pro-humanity, since to be green is to be irrational, misanthropic and morally defective.  

In the beginning, and for some time, I struggled dotting every "i" and crossing every "t", spelling, grammar, etc, all the things writers are trained for.  While I lacked those skills sufficiently at the beginning, there were skills I excelled in.   What I didn't lack was the ability to see patterns, and see them more quickly than most.  To understand, logically define, and explain those patterns.   Those are all personal qualities, but all that only works if you  know the historical importance behind those patterns, and that takes work called reading.  Also, along with good intrinsic analytical skills, I spoke well.

A great many professional writers fail in all those skills, and entirely too many are infected in ideologies that prevent them from acquiring those skills.  Talent without character is wasted talent. And I'm convinced the vast majority of them never read a history book.  Writing skills can be learned, that's mechanical.  But the rest require integrity, and the willingness to follow the facts no matter where they may lead. 

Speaking and writing go hand in hand, and yet they're not the same.  Speaking well only requires having good information and the ability to present it logically.  Writing requires skill, so, I've worked hard to get as good at it as I can, and I'm happy to say I've been complimented on my clarity of thought and how well I present information.  An old and good friend recently commented, "you really are an organized thinker".  I found that particularly pleasant is he's a nationally known entomologist who I've known and admired for a large part of my life, who watched my "editorial" struggle.

I've often said over the years I see farther, deeper, and wider than most everyone else.  Not because I'm so much smarter than everyone else, but because I read so much more than everyone else.   When you've taken advantage of reading the many writers who are really brilliant, and the many writers who are really dumb, you get a much broader perspective.  And you have to read the dumb ones as well as the brilliant ones because you can't find out who the idiots are unless you read them, and you can't overcome their idiocy unless you know what idiocy they're promoting.  Furthermore, you need to keep reading the idiots because the foundational sand of their logic is always shifting, not to mention their "facts".  That's a truly unpleasant task in perseverance, and I hate it, but it is what it is.  

Much of my writing is devoted to trying to see below the surface and behind the curtain all the while maintaining a 30,000 foot perspective on issues.  Not only for my readers, but also for myself.  If I can't do that, I have nothing to say worth reading.  That's time consuming, and it's not easy.  

My approach to writing has been molded by some brilliant people.  Thomas Sowell for one, who I consider one of the finest thinkers in the world today.  His ability to take amazingly complex problems and simplify them so that anyone can understand them is absolutely brilliant.  He's in his 90's now, and his passing will diminish the world.  

He once observed in 2005: 

"Some ideas seem so plausible that they can fail nine times in a row and still be believed the tenth time. Other ideas seem so implausible that they can succeed nine times in a row and still not be believed the tenth time. Government controls in the economy are among the first kinds of ideas and the operation of a free market is among the second kinds of ideas."

Defining capitalism versus socialism, and tyranny versus freedom in one paragraph.  How brilliant is that?

I read a lot of history, and I find a great many really good historians aren't really good story tellers.   Victor Davis Hanson, who not only has a great depth of understanding regarding historical events and people, he also has the ability to present information in a way that's not only informative, it's interesting.  Here's an excellent example.

He understands history is the story of mankind, and must be presented as a story, not as an audit of a ledger sheet.  I strive to do that with the understanding that you can't make an impact on people's minds unless you can touch their hearts.  If the heart believes, the mind will find a way to justify that belief.  

Conservatives win the battle of facts, we always have.  Leftists win the battle of emotion, they always have. To win the war you must win the battle of facts and the battle of emotion.  History is everything, as time and truth are on the same side.  That's foundational, not ideological!  If you keep tying past events into the issues impacting people's lives now, the war will be won. 

Read a lot, and take to time to read history books, think about what you read, and work to correlate that information with what we see going on in the world, as the patterns repeat over and over again.  

I've often quoted Ben Franklin who said truth will very patiently wait for us.  That seems perfectly reasonable and rational to me, but not to everyone.  One past president of our state association challenged me with that unendingly irritating canard, "what's truth"?  I had a respectable answer, but it wasn't definitive enough to prevent some kind of seemingly rational response.  That's one of the many things over the years that haunted the back of my mind unconscionably gathering, collating, and correlating bits of information to develop answers, and I have the irrefutable definition of what's truth.

"Truth is the sublime convergence of history and reality.  Everything we're told has a historical foundation and context, and everything we're told should bear some resemblance to what we're seeing going on in reality. If what's presented to us fails in either category, it's wrong, and all that's left to do is to develop the intellectual response to explain why it's wrong."

There's no rational come back to that.  Either the history is accurate, or it's not.  Either the information is accurate, or it's not.   It's really that simple. So, what's the complication?  

The unwillingness for so many to accept truth over fantasy!  And that's a bigger problem than is realized, as the enemies of truth are legion.  The enemies of truth engage in an unending conspiracy to prevent the truth from being told by way of logical fallacies, projection, lies of commission, lies of omission, gaslighting, misdirection, twisted use of language, speculation, and unfounded scares.  Much of this corruption is promoted by government, academic, and the media.

Articles are great, but a writer can only put so much in an article, understanding requires reading books.  Articles are great at pointing you in the direction to which books to read, and that's necessary if you really want depth of understanding, and the ability to define and defend truth.

Time and Truth Are on the Same Side, and Conspiracies Are Real

Biden is out, Kamala is the Democrat Massiah, and here's an excellent thought for the day.  I don’t remember who said this, but it’s a goodie. 

"Anyone who believes that politicians and bureaucrats who can't define what a woman is, who can't control the border, can't tell the truth about COVID, who can't teach children to read and do math at grade level, and who lied continuously about Obamacare, can control temperatures, sea levels, and storm activity should make sure they never have to debate a five-year-old."

Well, Biden proved that to be true, and when Kamala officially becomes to the Democrat nominee and has to debate Trump, that statement will be carved into stone.

I've been a history buff for all of my life, and I concluded decades ago, everything is cyclical!  I read George Friedman's book,  "Storm Before Calm", which deals with this very well.   I've read, "The Fourth Turning", which also deals with historical cycles.  Complicated book, complicated verbiage, entirely too long, way too wordy, which seem to me is a failure in “coherence through connectives”, a fundamental when it comes to writing and speaking if you really want people to understand what you’re saying.  

At this point it seems to be as much mystical as historical in its projections, yet, the book has some interesting insights claiming among other things, we're in what he calls the Fourth Turning of the current cycle.  Actually, I agree with that.  While I do question his time lines, which seems to do some cherry picking.  However, in his analyses every cycle has what he calls a Fourth Turning, and each of those “turnings” were crisis periods, and historically, his fourth turnings have always been conclusively violent.  I fear this is going to happen with or in America within the next ten years.   Reading it is a challenge, but I recommend it anyway because there's some good stuff there. 

China's military buildup has been financed by American trade, and now as a result, there are ten ways the US is falling behind China in national security. That build up is intended to destroy America.  Hypersonic missiles, fleet size, air defense, manufacturing, technology, much of which they've stolen, mining for rare earths, gray zone altercations.  Gray zone altercations are non-shooting military intimidation tactics they regularly play with their neighbors.  In short, they're bullies, and don't care if anyone likes it or not. Then there’s their excursions into space, cyber operations, and artificial intelligence. 

But America's military is not to be outdone.  No sir, we have a Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, who is a man of incredible vision and clarity of thought, and he has clearly identified the American military's real problems.  Problem totally undermining America's military readiness and capability.   

"The twin crises of white supremacy and gender." 

We can't keep our subs repaired, recruitment is in the toilet, many combat aircraft are permanently on the ground, the generals and admirals are all members of the Church of Wokeness, but hey, we gotta have our priorities.  Right?

The unending political persecution of Donald Trump,  the J6 protestors, and Trump supporters by the corrupt Deep State and the Democrat party is a blatantly Stalinist.  While I can acknowledge the contributions of Thomas Jefferson, I'm not a big fan.  But he was brilliant as he once observed:

All the powers of government, legislative, executive, and judiciary, result to the legislative body. The concentrating these in the same hands is precisely the definition of despotic government. It will be no alleviation that these powers will be exercised by a plurality of hands, and not by a single one. 173 despots would surely be as oppressive as one. 

An elective despotism was not the government we fought for; but one which should not only be founded on free principles, but in which the powers of government should be so divided and balanced among several bodies of magistracy, as that no one could transcend their legal limits, without being effectually checked and restrained by the others. Nor should our assembly be deluded by the integrity of their own purposes, and conclude that these unlimited powers will never be abused, because themselves are not disposed to abuse them.

They should look forward to a time, and that not a distant one, when corruption in this, as in the country from which we derive our origin, will have seized the heads of government, and be spread by them through the body of the people…. Jefferson warned that relatively soon, “corruption” will have seized the heads of government” and “spread by them” through the “body of the people” — also known as…Congress.

How was Jefferson able to see this so clearly?   He read a history book or two, and there's nothing new under the sun.  People will always be people, and the patterns of life repeat over and over again.  

The fact is, what he warned about started happening not too long after the Constitution was ratified with the Whiskey Tax of 1791.  A tax which was clearly unequal, unfair, violated states’ rights, culminating with a greater violation of states’ rights with Washington leading an army into Pennsylvania to put down the Whiskey Rebellion of 1794.   It all merely expanded to what we're seeing. We now call it Crony Capitalism. 

This tax was promoted by then Secretary of the Treasury Alexander Hamilton, and was directly beneficial to the whiskey distillers in the major metropolitan areas.  The Constitution had just been ratified in 1787, a mere four years before, and Hamilton wanted to solidify support for the Constitution from the business community.   Hamilton was strong advocate of strong centralized federal power over republicanism and states’ rights, and Washington never made any effort to thwart this.  Washington was lauded by Congress for this action, and those who supported his venture claimed he once again saved the nation, and this time from a challenge to federal authority by the people. 

Jefferson rightly recognized if for what it was.  Washington's call for troops to put down this rebellion was in point of fact an abuse of Presidential power and authority, a veiled threat to the citizens of the nation, and a threat to republican ideals. While I do think Washington deserves praise as the Father of Our Nation because of his personal courage, amazing leadership skills, and his willingness to walk away from power after two terms, I also think he's overrated, most certainly as a general, but also as a President.

Jefferson's administration repealed the Whiskey Tax.

Banks are cancelling the accounts of people who hold political views they don't like, investment companies are ignoring their fiduciary responsibilities to their investors in order to support ESG and DEI conceptualized companies, many of which are either under performing or outright failing.  But they have no problem with the insane leftist radicals that are destroying western culture and ultimately civilization.  

Heresy is rampant at the highest levels of "Christian" churches. Biden couldn't afford to build a border wall, yet he really wanted to give Ukraine another unaccountable, untraceable 20 billion dollars, to one of, if not the most, corrupt governments in Europe. The Deep State, the Democrats, leftists, along with an international elite are creating what's being called "a new normal", which would be an international tyrannous form of governance where you will have nothing, and you will like it, or else.  A conspiracy determined to destroy all Constitutional guarantees in order to destroy America.

All of that has now become obvious, and Kamala Harris, who is foundationally stunningly radical, is totally on board with that, which I will be addressing in an article this week. 

In years gone by there was a lot of laughing and friendly banter between me and my friends over my claims about conspiracies.  Well, whaddayaknow. There really is such a thing as a conspiracy after all, and they're not laughing any longer.  

Just like Jefferson, I read a history book or two, and there's nothing new under the sun.

I'm getting a lot hits on my old commentaries and links, here's one of them.  On May 17, 2015 Anna Malpas published this piece, Russia probes space failures after rocket falls to Earth saying: 

Russia on Sunday began investigating the loss of a commercial satellite and a separate glitch on the International Space Station, sparking fears over the industry's safety.  A commission to investigate the accident with the Proton-M rocket carrying a Mexican telecommunications satellite met Sunday morning, the TASS state news agency reported, citing a space industry source…….But experts say years of underfunding mean there is a shortage in new generation specialists to replace those recruited in the Soviet era.  "The best of the best do not go to work in the rocket and space sector. I think that's telling in dealing with all the clabber over this Russo/Ukrainian War, and all things left.  Nothing is ever their fault, and everything is a lie.  As AT&T used to say:  "The System is the Solution", but in the case of the Russians, the system is the problem.   It’s the same old story with the Russians, whether they’re Soviets or not. 

Khrushchev claimed – falsely I might add –they could produce rockets like sausages to scare the U.S.  He was lying, and he knew he was lying, and the CIA went along with that lie.  The Russian hierarchy is now and has always been full of blowhards, and the west is now and has always been, full of invertebrate appeasers and collaborators like Kennedy, and traitors like FDR. 

Putin, with all his international shenanigans, coupled with Obama’s and Biden's responses, have been part and parcel of that same clabber, going back to the FDR and Truman era where they allowed Stalin to rape and murder throughout Germany, creating the Iron Curtain and the Cold War.  

Neither of which would have happened if the Allied powers had allowed Patton to take Berlin, and more.  It's clear Germany and Japan were the immediate enemies that needed defeated, but over the long haul, FDR was an even greater enemy to America.

Russia suffers from the same economic incompetence that collapsed the Soviet Union - they're broke! Their military is full of alcoholics, the general population decreases every year, and in the general population alcoholism is rampant, AIDS is a serious problem, along with drug resistant tuberculosis.   The Navy is full of rust buckets and I have trouble believing their air force is much better overall.   

Then I keep reading articles by those who  insist the west bail out one crap hole country after another for fear Putin, or even worse, China will do it instead.  Who cares, they'll be investing in nations with a history of unending failure because their foundational social paradigms are designed for control by powerful corrupt elitists.  An absolute design for failure.

Them giving money to loser crap hole nations just drives them closer over the cliff to bankruptcy.  That would be a positive thing for western capitalism, and humanity. That way they could all collapse together, and be a great big happy socialist family.  Broke, clueless, and most importantly, harmless. 

Here's another quote by Khrushchev, only this one wasn't a lie:

And now it's happening, and how and why did he know that was going to happen?  Because just as he factually knew he was lying about everything else, he also knew starting in 1920 all the institutions of America including academia, the unions, public education leaders, commerce, entertainment, the news organizations, and the federal government were filled with communists, socialists, Soviet spies, and far left traitorous fellow travelers going back to FDR administration, which was considered the most infiltrated government in world history.

Let Me Tell You About the Boy Who Cried Wolf

I know most have heard Aesop's fable about the boy who cried wolf, whose job it was to watch over the village sheep.  Apparently he found it boring.  So he thought it would  amusing to get everyone all excited and cried out,"Wolf! Wolf! The Wolf is chasing the sheep!" That of course got the villagers all worked up and they all ran up the hill only to find out...there was no wolf.....which amused the boy immensely.  

They warned him not to cry wolf when there's no wolf.  Which he ignored.  He was warned again and he ignored them again, and again until his cries became meaningless to the villagers, then a real wolf really did appeared and guess what?  It killed the sheep!   

What's the object of this story? 

Well, if your a conservative the object of that story is, no one believes a liar, even when they're telling the truth.   If you're a leftist the object of that story is, never tell the same lie twice. Leftists sort of take the view telling the truth is an excuse for a lack of imagination. 

And that's the crux of the matter, leftist keep telling the same lie over and over again, and darn few realize it. But understand this:  It really is a "singular lie".  In spite of that, and in spite of the fact everything they promote and everything they implement, mostly referred to as alternatives, ends up being disastrous society never seems to see, "the lie". 

• Green energy, a blatant failure, not to mention environmentally disastrous.   
• Electric cars, a blatant failure, not to mention environmentally disastrous.  
• Organic agriculture, a blatant failure, not to mention environmentally damaging. 

All predicated on Chicken Little claims of disaster. 

• Fifty years ago we were heading into a new massive Ice Age, and we all froze or starved to death.  Did you miss that?
• Fifty years ago Malthusians predicted our demise to starvation because we couldn't grow enough food for a growing world population.  And in 1970 it was claimed it was too late to fix it.  You missed that one also I assume.  And if we had adopted their "organic only" as the solution, the world would have starved.
  
• Of course, global warming has already destroyed the world.  Oh yes, that is if we were to believe what they said 25 years ago....we're all dead.  Oh, maybe you missed that too?  
• Then there was the claim we're running out of fossil fuels and need to go back to nature for the sake of future generations.  Well, every so often they come up with estimations of how much oil is left on the planet, and if we believed what they said in 1950 we ran out of oil over 60 years ago.  Did you miss that? 
• In reality we found and used billion of gallons more oil than they claimed we had and all the new estimations are much higher now than they predicted then.  And these new estimations will be wrong also.
  

These misfits have "cried wolf" over and over again, and yet, unlike the villagers in Aesop's fable, the world keeps falling for "the lie".  

Why?  

It's simple, the villagers were educated.  They knew the kid was a liar.  Today, we've been "educated" by a corrupt media, and corrupt government officials to believe these liars are telling the truth.  Many of whom tout PhD's, or have important positions in academia, industry, commence, industry trade associations and even the military.  Whether it's about the environment, the economy, public policy and even public health.  Even when there's more than enough evidence to show they're liars, con artists and charlatans, society falls for "the lie".

Why?

That's simple also.  Unless you've actually followed these misfits claims over the years, it doesn't appear they're telling the same lie over and over again, as a result society fails to see the pattern.  Fails to actually see there really is a "singular lie" being told.   So what's that "singular lie" everyone's missing and everyone absolutely needs to understand?  

"Give up your freedom, your land, your money, your families and give us the power to control every aspect of your life or you're doomed."

The specifics, the subjects and details are all immaterial.  Everything they say, everything they promote, everything they're trying to achieve is predicated on that one singular lie.  We really do need to get that.

Scientists discover evil people share a ‘dark triad’ of traits

Psychopathy, egoism, sadism and narcissism are among the traits considered to be a part of the dark side of humanity — and new research has found people who exhibit these traits all share a common characteristic. 

While characteristics like narcissism or spitefulness may not seem as extreme as psychopathic tendencies, scientists have found a behavioral link between people who exhibit these traits, and it’s not as uncommon as you might think.

 Research from the University of Copenhagen revealed that people categorized in this “dark core of personalities” tend to put their own interests ahead of anyone else’s. Another common characteristic researchers observed was the ability to take pleasure from causing other people pain. 

The most predominant of these tendencies are known as the “dark triad,” which includes psychopathy (a lack of empathy), narcissism (excessive self-absorption), and Machiavellianism (the belief that the ends justify the means). Some traits, like egoism or sadism, might appear to be more acceptable than those in the dark triad, but the study claims they are all derived from a common underlying disposition, dubbed the “D-factor.” This means that if you display one of these traits, then you are more likely to exhibit some of the others as well.
