The World's Nine Orders

All geopolitics is predicated on four factors.  Geographics, demographics, economics, and that most exclusive factor of all, the happiness factor, and the happiness factor is seemingly incomprehensible to most of the world's leaders.  Why?   The masses just want security, and the world's leaders just don't care.  When they don't care, they don't understand, and they don't want to understand.

Yesterday this article appeared at American Thinker, From Cats and Geese to Kissinger’s ‘World Order’, with Christopher Chantrill outlining four foundational narratives according to Henry Kissinger, with whom I've never been impressed.  That started a train of thought in me as I thought......  just four?  Really?

Well, I guess you can organize and define all of this as one pleases, but I thought four was entirely too limiting, so, I came up with nine foundational narratives, i.e. nine orders that impact human existence, and truth be told, that number is open to debate.   

First.   There are these International organizations such as the United Nation (UN), which I consider a "Wretched Hive of Scum and Villainy", the World Trade Organization (WTO), Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD, the

If we take a look around the world we find there are eight more foundational cultural systems that pretty much determine what goes on the in the world, and once we recognize and analyze that it becomes clear the concept of an organized "world order" is an impossible dream, and these international organizations are the "first" among the orders of our existence, and they're a disaster for humanity.   Follow the links to see why.

Second.  Let's take a look at China.  Their history is massive, and impressive, and while their nation is officially atheistic, it's foundational social paradigm is still predicated on Confucianism.  Chinese knew China was the center of the universe, and all they needed was China, and outside the current leadership's desire to control the rest of the world, that's not what the Chinese people want.  

They're spending enormous amounts of money on their military, but China's broke, and going more broke by the day.  They've just closed thousands of restaurants in China over economics. Central planning at it's worst, a Maoist economic philosophy that failed when Mao was alive, and will fail with Xi as China's Maoist emperor.

Like the old Soviet Union, they're not a natural capital generating nation, and there's every indication they're heading into an economic toilet just like the Soviet Union with Xi's Maoist economic thinking.  The sooner that happens the better off their world will be.   Like most leaders, the leadership in China hasn't a clue about what makes the people of China happy. 

Third. Islam has no concept of world peace until the world is converted to to Islam, preferably with the sword.  As a result, Islam has been at war with the rest of the world in varying degrees for almost 1500 years.   Any harmony that exists with Islam and any other nation or group in the world is never anything except temporary, and it only exists to allow Islam to reorganize and attack once again.  Also, there's no harmony within Islam.  

The foundational values of Islam are hate, greed, envy, lust, and violence.  And the only ones they hate more than kafir (non believers) are Muslims of different sects, as each sect considers the other sects heretics, and the Koran demands the death of heretics.   They're only powerful as long as oil is king, and that's subject to change, but only if the rest of the world has the will.  

They're a medieval tribal culture with modern communications, transportation, and weapons, all of which means they must be contained and isolated, as they cannot, and will not, be assimilated. 

Fourth. India is mostly Hindu, and their goal is to transcend reality into a higher plane, and truth be told, I find India and those who embrace this philosophy totally incomprehensible, and their culture amazingly complicated.   But they can be a force, and the key here is they're not going to embrace any of the other five orders, in any way except to potentially allow them to be a very small part of their culture, which also means they will play all sides against each other for their benefit.   Trusting them overmuch is irrational as India will never be a stable ally, and their internal social structure is extremely complicated.

Fifth.  Then there's the Russian order.  Russia's huge, and is a "hordesland" nation, meaning large armies could sweep over their land with ease as did the Mongols, and is the underlying social paradigm, or fear, for Russia as a nation, albeit that fear is now irrational as no one wants to attack Russia, certainly not any nation or group of nations in Europe.  And that social paradigm accepts they idea Russia can only survive by being controlled with absolute power, and that everyone in the world want's to destroy Russia, so all nations are Russia's enemies.   

One thing Russians developed as a result of being overrun by invading armies is patience.  They believe the tides of time, distance, and size are on their side, and will wait for the tide to change.  But like China, it's not a natural capital generating nation, and we now know, it's not the military bear we thought it was, and they're losing credibility as a world power daily. 

Sixth.  Europe, which Otto Von Bismarck once observed that America, unlike Europe, is a real nation, sharing the same language and culture.  Whereas Europe is nothing more than a geographical designation.  A geographic designation with at least 24 official languages, and more unofficial dialects, amounting to around 200 languages.  All with widely different cultural values.  The only biding force in Europe was Christianity, and they turned that into wars.  

The nations of Europe aren't real nations, they're a conglomeration of small Kingdoms, Dukedoms, etc, that were pushed together through peace treaties after some war or other over the centuries, and they've pretty much abandoned Christianity.  Now they believe in anything, everything, and nothing.   Europe can't even embrace a united Europe without disastrous results, as we're now seeing, let alone a united world.   Their embrace of uncontrolled immigration by Muslims will destroy them, so let's try and get this right.  Europe is a spent force, the EU is doomed, and their economic collapse is imminent.  

Seventh.  Africa, and it's a mess, it has aways been a mess, and it will always be a mess, speaking between 1500 and 2000 different languages, filled with terrifying religious movements and failed social paradigms.  There is no stability in Africa, even in the northern tier Muslim nations.   Given the corrupt lack of civil rights in these nations, and the lack of a stable rule of law, there can be no social order in which they'll fit.    As of 2023, there were, since 1950, approximately four hundred and ninety two attempted and/or successful coups around the world.  Two hundred and twenty of them were in Africa.  One hundred and nine of them were successful.  Africa is a bad investment.

Eighth.  Latin and South America are also a mess, and much of what's going on there is also unfixable, at least from outside sources.  Let's take Argentina.  Argentina in the early 20th century was one of the most economically successful nations on the planet could have been to model for the rest of South and Central America, except they embraced socialism and continued an viral downward economic swirl for over 100 years.  But that's now changing.  We'll come back to that.  

The geographic conditions of South America makes war extremely difficult and none of these nations have navies capable of Normandy style invasions.  Even the Northern Tier nations have geographic issues, and don't even have railroads that connect them together, and their mineral rich interiors are largely ignored because of their lack of capitalist thinking and social structure, along with unstable political structures.

The Union of South American Nations is a loser and gets nothing done.   As of 2021 of the 16 countries that make up South America, seven have either suspended or withdrawn their membership, and as far as I can tell there are only six active members.   As for taking action against Venezuela?  They couldn't even agree on who the Secretary General should be and at times the position went unfilled. And guess which country remains a member? Venezuela!

From Mexico to the tip of South America there's now only two nations overcoming the socialist plague that's been destroying them by the new President of Argentina and El Salvador, both of whom believe in capitalism.   In El Salvador  President Nayib Bukele, did a hard crackdown on crime, and the power of the criminal elements in South and Latin America is devastating, and most of these nations don't have the political capital to do the same.  

No matter what deals they make internationally – they will eventually have to look North, especially since it’s my belief the world is going to face a very large economic downturn within the next five years, possibly not for ten.   How fast and how deep will depend on the region, with China and Russia leading the downward trend, and all that international trade will become much more problematic – except to the North – to the United States, and from that point on the U.S. will dominate these societies economically, and if they embrace that it will be to their benefit!

Ninth.  America no longer shares a culture as it did in Bismarck's day, and America must get it's migrant situation under control, America needs to deport about 25 million aliens, illegal,  some legal, and some immigrants who need to have their citizenship revoked as a result of their anti American activities, some even involving espionage, criminal gangsterism, and obvious efforts at sedition.

For entirely too long Americans felt we could turn the rest of the world into America, or at the very least get them to embrace the American dream and the implement it in their nations.  That turned out to be stupid, but the reason for that is the intellectuals taught that and promoted it.  The facts are two fold.  We don't understand them and their historical social paradigms that were created over centuries, and they absolutely don't understand the American concepts of democracy and capitalism.   

Other than these international organizations and the United States, there's a singular thing all the other orders have in common.  For most of their  history they were all ruled by kings with absolute power, which is why we don't understand them, and they don't understand us.  These seven orders exist with social constructs that are antithetical to each other at foundational levels, and there will be no world order predicated on peaceful coexistence.   Most importantly we need to understand, no matter what we do they will always hate and resent America, and that's the thing we need to understand about them. 

However, there is one foundational truth we need to embrace.  They need us, and we don't need them.  America is a natural capital generating nation, and unlike all these other orders we can feed ourselves, arm ourselves, defend ourselves, fuel ourselves, create our own internal commercial market, and we're capable of paying off our national debt.   

It's time we picked up our marbles and went home, and let them all crash.  Then there will either be a world in chaos, or they'll come to their senses, stop causing trouble and just take care of their people. I'm thinking they'll pick chaos.  Why? Because according to historians we're coming the end of a historical cycle, and all end cycles have massive economic downturns and are rife with violence.  History tells the tale, and often times it's not a pretty story, and then a new cycle begins.   Sadly, those kind of crashes are the fix.

The World Begins to Reorder Itself

I wrote a few months ago that the world is in the process of reordering itself, something it does every few generations. It is not a process that depends on the decisions of the mighty or something that can readily be stopped. It flows out of economic and political pressures within countries. These internal pressures turn into military pressures, as the internal system tries to stabilize itself. Some countries experience these things as painful but routine events, while others destabilize or lash out. Another name for this is progress, which is far from a triumphal march to happiness but a painful struggle with reality; the pains of progress turn to charges against other people and other nations. Someone must be responsible for the disruption and disorientation of change, and the finger is always pointed at others and never oneself.

The foundation of this current cycle was Europe in the early 1990s, when the Soviet Union disintegrated and the Maastricht treaty was signed to unite the Continent. In 2001, the United States experienced the 9/11 attacks. In 2013, Xi Jinping became the president of China. Within the cycle of history, a decade or two is a relatively short time.

The fragmentation of the Soviet Union was, at the time, intended to create a more efficient region. The unification of Europe under the European Union was intended to reduce the prospect of conflict while creating widespread prosperity. The U.S. response to the 9/11 attack was intended to reduce the threat of terrorism. Xi’s election was intended to put China on the road to unprecedented prosperity.

None of these intentions ended in outright failure. The Soviet breakup led some of the former Soviet Union and its satellites to a higher degree of prosperity. European unification led to a period of relative productivity. The American response did prevent another 9/11-type attack on the United States. And China surged. As with other cycles, the intentions of leaders were not a complete failure, at least until the next cycle.

It is now a generation since the last shift began, and the fault lines of the previous phase are in the final stage of change. Russia is engaged in an attempt to reconstruct the Soviet Union, starting with its war in Ukraine. The European Union is deeply divided, and Germany and France have proposed institutionalizing the division. In recent days, Islamic radicalism has reared its head again with the invasion of Israel by Hamas. The United States, having prevented further major attacks by Islamic terrorists, has slipped into the predicted final phase of its own cycle, where tensions between people over politics, race, religion, sexuality and whatever else you might have in mind will dominate the next few years. And China’s economic surge has given way to massive economic weakness and political tension.

There are two points I am trying to make here. First, nations contain many millions of people. These people spew out decisions that they blame on leaders, because the real process of millions of people living together is too complicated to grasp. Someone must be blamed, and it can’t be oneself, so there is periodic rage. Second and perhaps more significant, the problem of the new period grows out of the solution of the last period.

We are therefore in a new period, which has its origins in the last and consists of war, economic crisis and mutual rage. These are the realities that are truly universal, sometimes happy, too often tragic. But I am sure that the Greeks looked at this the same way. Can we avoid these cycles? I would like to think so, but we haven’t yet.

The Old World Order

When President George H.W. Bush delivered a speech to Congress envisioning the emergence of a “new world order”, he had it backward. The new world order wasn’t emerging, it was over.

A "new world", Bush claimed, "is struggling to be born, a world quite different from the one we've known" and he shared that vision with Gorbachev. The Soviet Leader, a year away from being toppled, who had cut his teeth on Communist visions of a new world being born only to inherit a failing system that could no longer win wars or feed its own people, must have been amused.

Gorbachev understood what Bush did not, that no new world order was coming, an old world order was returning. Bush lasted a year longer in office than his Soviet counterpart. And yet his own farewell speech couldn’t help but echo Bush, declaring, “we live in a new world now.”

The new world we live in now is one where Russia is trying to rebuild a Czarist empire, and China, Iran, and every other power or power that was, is fighting to recreate its glory days.

The patchwork international order had been a product of the Cold War that Bush and Gorbachev were eagerly bidding farewell to. Globalism, or the post-Cold War international order based on trade, human rights and conferences proved to be as much of a joke as the UN, the WTO, the NGOs and the multilateral organizations that served as its shaky infrastructure.

Bush envisioned "a world where the rule of law supplants the rule of the jungle" and "nations recognize the shared responsibility for freedom and justice" on the brink of the original Gulf War.

But the only law that ever existed was the law of force enforced by self-interest or idealism.

Last year, Secretary of State Blinken declared that human rights would be at the center of our foreign policy, but that other nations would have to make it happen. “Promoting respect for human rights is not something we can do alone, but is best accomplished working with our allies and partners across the globe,” he claimed. The chosen venue for the job was the Human Rights Council whose members include China, Cuba, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia and Venezuela.

As the old political gag goes, "These are my principles. If you don’t like them I have others."

The new world order means world leaders gathering for a NATO summit that accomplishes nothing except the indignity of Finland and Sweden having to bribe an Islamist butcher in Turkey for the privilege of membership in the hope that if Russia comes for them, we’ll defend them.

In the real world, Finland will be on its own just as it was against the USSR and Germany.

The old world order is the reality that once the meetings are done and the conferences are over, every country is all alone. Virtue signaling globalism means that everyone will fly Ukrainian flags, just as they expressed solidarity with Hong Kong and will hashtag Taiwan at need.

And then they’ll move on to the next political outrage, celebrity gossip or trending news.

In his address on September 11, 1990, Bush called Saddam’s invasion of Kuwait, the “first assault on the new world that we seek, the first test of our mettle.” The first test also proved to be the last. The Iraq wars would shatter any bipartisan and multilateral appetite for American interventions. Obama’s Syrian red line, Biden’s withdrawal from Afghanistan, and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine all mark the slow collapse of the potemkin village erected in the nineties.

The myth of a new world order and its illusion of collective security is worse than the reality of the old world order, offering popular protesters and small countries the false hope that some international consensus or military intervention will come to their aid when help isn’t coming.

Instead of 19th century realpolitik or late 20th century internationalism, we have a much more expensive and imaginary version of the League of Nations. Countless billions of dollars and endless hours are spent propping up an imaginary new world order of a world without war when it would be much healthier for us and for everyone else to acknowledge that none of it is real.

The world isn’t governed by law, but by force, and no one is coming to save anyone. Not us.

The United States isn’t entirely out of the intervention business, but our international forces are deployed for deterrence purposes. Rather than fighting to change things, we are managing the decline. That’s what our troops were doing in Afghanistan for at least a decade, trying to keep one of our old potemkin villages, a “democratic” government, from its inevitable defeat and fall.

Other powers and movements, from Russia and China to Sunni and Shiite Islam, are expanding while America remains committed to a failed vision of a static world. A shrinking West, avidly being colonized by the rest of the world, touts decolonization. But the West has few colonies, instead its cities, London, Los Angeles, and Toronto, are rapidly becoming third world colonies.

America first embraced the ideal of a new world order when it ceased to expand territorially. A century of wars for democracy, along with drastically falling birth rates, convinced Europe to cease its expansionism, but the rest of the world has not decided to be happy with what it has.

World powers seek to restore or build empires, carving up regions into spheres of influence, intimidating, invading, and conquering smaller nations. That old world order was always the defining reality. The Cold War era incorporated it into a larger struggle against Communism, but afterward, the same ugliness continued stripped of any pretense of a world revolution.

With the old world order, the United States can continue to impotently preach Bush’s vision of Americans, “together with Arabs, Europeans, Asians, and Africans in defense of principle and the dream of a new world order” or think about what an American future really looks like.

One in which America is no longer declining or tethered to maintaining an illusory new order.

A century of tired arguments have reduced us to the false choice between isolationism and internationalism. But at the height of our rising power in the 19th century, the United States was neither. It was not afraid of asserting its ideals, but neither was it foolish enough to believe that the rest of the world would go along or that we were obligated to make them all behave. We primarily pursued our own interests and we were not afraid of a little expansionism either.

Most importantly, we did not see our place in the world as bound by the rest of the world.

American foreign policy has come to be a prisoner of a global construct. Its exponents have shouldered a global burden that no empire in history has ever been able to carry. Americans have been told to take on the responsibility for the freedom and happiness of the entire world. Our national policy is to first conceive of how the world should be and then try to bring it about.

But a better world doesn’t begin with American self-sacrifice, but with a greater America.

America can best serve the world by being itself. The new world order never really existed and pretending that it did does no favors to the countries who might actually depend on it. Instead of trying to mobilize the world, America can provide a meaningful alternative for the world.

The American Revolution and the Constitution ushered in the true new world order not by seeking to control the world, but by showing the human race what was possible. Every effort to outdo that order with a new world order has failed. And Bush’s, like Gorbachev’s, has joined the trash heap of history. The real new world order is not one that envisions a transformed humanity, but that empowers individuals, not nations, not from the top, but from the bottom.

The constitutional order is not the end of history, but the beginning of humanity.

 The world is changing. It is becoming darker. It is much like J.R.R. Tolkien envisioned in his trilogy, The Lord of the Rings. Forces are gathering. They are moving into position.

Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, an outspoken patriot for freedom and traditional Western values was interviewed recently and spoke his mind and his heart. Italian Archbishop Viganò clearly explains the divide that has developed in the world and in his beloved Church, putting us all in grave peril, even greater than before WWII. Instead of individual nations being in upheaval, it is now the whole world. He is the single most controversial figure in the Catholic Church. Archbishop Viganò has been highly critical of; Modern Church, Pope Francis, Recent secular developments, Virus, Vaccines, Global plan for a New World Order This writer grew up in the Catholic Church, but became a traditional, Bible believing, fundamentalist Christian and patriot. It is well worth listening to this brave, and brilliant man. 

Archbishop Viganò has been highly critical of;  Modern Church, Pope Francis, Recent secular developments, Virus, Vaccines, Global plan for a New World Order 

I will give a summation of the Archbishop’s questions and his insightful answers. As you read his answers, imagine a beautiful Italian accent:

Question: We’re looking at the Church in confusion and division concerning the New World Order, the present global pandemic, and how Christians react to this. What do you think of the current pandemic, the current confusion and crisis?

Answer: “It seems clear to me that we are facing a siege on both the social and religious front. The so-called emergency pandemic has been utilized as a false pretext to impose the vaccination and the Green Pass in many nations of the world in a simultaneous and coordinated way. At the same time on the other front, not only do the ecclesiastical authorities not condemn in the least the abuse of power by those who govern public affairs, but they support them in this wicked plan and go so far as to condemn those who do not accept being inoculated with an experimental gene serum, with unknown side effects, that does not impart any immunity from the virus, to say nothing of the moral implications related to the presence of genetic material derived from aborted fetuses. We are at war, a war that is not openly declared, that is not fought with conventional weapons, but a war all the same, in which there are aggressors and aggresses, executioners and victims. A war in which violence ensues in ostensibly legal forms in order to violate the rights of citizens as well as believers. It is an epochal war that is a prelude to the end times and the great apostasy spoken of in sacred scripture.”

Question: How can we explain what seems to be a new alliance?

Answer: “The alliance that you mention is not between state and Church, but between the deep state and the deep church. This state has apathy to both natural law and divine and positive [human] law. The Church has a hand with respect to the unchanging teaching of Christ. It is obvious that the rulers, including the President of the United States, are not pursuing the common good when they expose a population to experimentation without scientific basis. Even in the face of evidence of the vaccine’s ineffectiveness and the damage it causes to those who have received it. And it is equally obvious that the ecclesiastical hierarchy, in supporting this massacre plan on the global level is an accomplice to a crime against humanity and even more to a very grave sin against God. Bergoglianism [anti-capitalist, man has become God, rewrite divine law] is clearly integral to the plan of the Great Reset. On one hand because it is pursuing ends that have nothing to do with the purpose of the Catholic Church. And in the other, because it hopes that its complicity can bring it some sort of political and economic advantage in view of the New World Order. This criminal complicity is there for all to see. The Church has made a scandalous and shameful alliance with people [the elite] whose goals are not the same as traditional Christian goals.”

Question: What price is the Church paying for making this choice?

Answer: “In order to do this, the Church hierarchy has had to abandon Christian doctrine, deny Christ, dishonor His Church….This is a prelude to the constitution of the universal religion [a perverted, corrupt form of Christianity]. The fourth revolution theorized by Klaus Schwab [World Economic Forum], and forces within the Church abuse moral authority in order to support the dissolution of traditional society and pursue the project of the demolition of the Church in order to replace her with a philanthropic organization of Masonic inspiration. The majority of bishops align themselves obediently out of fear or self-interest. Today’s hierarchy comes from university and Catholic institutions, have been occupied by fifth columns that have formed generations of clergy, politicians, intellectuals, bankers, entrepreneurs, professors, and journalists that have been indoctrinated in progressive ideology. And just as the Left has done in the political and cultural sphere, so within the Church the innovators have ostracized voices of dissent. The Great Reset or the New World Order is very real. It is being implemented now, without a vote, without consideration for the billions of people it will impact. It is anti-God, anti-Christ. It is not the Cardinals or our military generals that will save the Church and our country, but the priests, the colonels, the lower ranks, and the people that will accomplish the restoration. To think otherwise would be like expecting a judge to give us justice when that same judge is an accomplice to the crime committed against us. It is those we look up to for order and normality that have betrayed us. They have perverted the law and justice. The Archbishop says we are not to allow ourselves to be tyrannized. Chaos will ensue if we submit ourselves to illegitimate servile commands as well as disobedience to legitimate ones.

These elites, these people in power, “are without limits, without constraint guaranteed to them by financial, political, and media means, and since they do not allow citizens to elect their own representatives unless they are certain they can manipulate the vote.” For brief power in this world is what they will get, while Hell waits for them.

The Church, as well as America and much of the planet is now at a great impasse with itself, the old order and the new, the traditional, liberty and freedom, looked upon as a threat to the New World Order, and the new that seeks to limit our numbers and enslave the rest to serve these demi-gods who would be kings with the promise that we will all be happy as if, like children, happiness was our only goal in this life.

The Constitution has been systematically undermined by a corrupt supreme court and legislated into meaninglessness by a corrupt congress. In fact, 200 corporations got together to oppose honest elections by signing a joint statement that claims voter laws that insure the integrity of elections, by requiring a valid ID to vote and signature verification on absentee ballots, imposes an unfair barrier to voting.

In reality, voting laws that require proof of identity to vote only impose a barrier to fraud. Without voter ID laws, elections are open to fraud and manipulation. As we seem to have found out in the 2020 election, anybody can vote multiple times, in multiple states, using unverifiable identities and addresses. I once waded through an article on the coming new world order that read like a final exam essay written against the clock for a Hail Mary passing grade[i]. I mention this because of its continuing relevance to shallow thinking regarding matters of great importance – in this case, world order no less! The gist of the article was that with the “old order” collapsed and in disarray, the “new order” faces the danger of fundamentalism – whether Islamic, Christian, or yours, wasn’t clear and didn’t seem to matter.

The call, in so many words, was to root out “bad guys” who interfere with “good guys” trying to spread “democracy” throughout the world. Shooting clichés from the hip and trotting wild through a hodgepodge of tatty assumptions, the author took aim at those who follow sacred scripture instead of secular scripts regularly dished out with news and entertainment. A kernel of enlightenment was offered, for the benefit of the benighted orthodox out there:

“America has had more than its share of [fundamentalists…]. But the fact that the New Testament is, in effect, a symposium dilutes any claim that it is God’s word in the sense of direct dictation, enabling the controversial but erudite British ex-politician Enoch Powell (a professor of Greek at age 25) to claim that according to his reading of the original Gospel of St. Matthew, Jesus Christ was not crucified but stoned to death...”
