The Cultural Elite Are in Trouble

With our prayers and involvement, we must have hope of saving our republic. Let’s look at some recent wins that show the tide might be turning in the direction of Conservative Judeo-Christian values. However, we need Republican leadership,  which seems to be in short supply.

The Washington Post which has been "The Newspaper of Record for Putting out Crap", is in serious financial trouble, and now employees wonder why it’s in such dire financial straits.

Maybe the answer is to hire conservative reporters to balance out leftist reporting?

Consider that during a recent employee meeting, new CEO Will Lewis told the staff that over the last few years revenue had plummeted and traffic to the website was down by 50 percent.  In 2023, The Washington Post lost an astounding $77 MILLION. So, what do you think the staff was focused on after hearing these dismal numbers? They were upset that the new management team didn’t check off boxes. They were focused on DEI!

See! That’s the real reason they’re losing readership.  It's not their content, that’s perfect!  The real reason is there are just too darn many white people in power.  Keep this in mind when you read (and laugh) about future Post layoffs.

Coach Mike Tomlin of the Pittsburgh Steelers directed his team NOT to get involved with or participate in pride month activities. Tomlin said: “We are here to play football not to participate in social or political moments and it has no place in our group activities.”

South Carolina Republican Governor Henry McMaster signed the state’s “Help Not Harm” law that will now protect children and teenagers from risky transgender medical procedures. South Carolina children are now protected from hormones, drugs, surgeries and other irreversible “treatments.” If they grow to adults and then want to chop off their penis or breasts, they will be free to destroy their lives. But as children, we will protect them.

Has Spain opened the door to national suicide? Spain wasn’t the only European nation that came out supporting the asinine Middle East “two-state solution,” which would result in the destruction of Israel. In the process Spain might have opened the door to destroying its own country! By calling for a two-state solution, Spain clearly stated that it believes there is a “genocide.”

For instance, its Minister of Defense Margarita Robles, said, “What is happening in Gaza is a real genocide.” Oops! According to the Spanish news website OK Diario, by Spain calling it a genocide, now Spain is "obligated" to allow in all those wonderful, Hamas terrorist-loving Palestinians from Gaza. Thanks to Spain’s 2009 Asylum Law and a 2020 Spanish Supreme Court case ruling that ANYONE fleeing an “extermination” must be granted asylum in Spain. Just think, thousands (maybe millions) of Hamas terrorist-loving Palestinians can now move to Spain and do to that country what they’ve been doing elsewhere in Europe.

But as the reality of who and what these people really are has finally set in, these elitist "leaders" are getting kick back.  Europeans are not only starting to resist, they're working to reverse this insanity.  In Ireland anti-immigration candidates won various races throughout the nation on June 10. This includes Glen Moore of the Irish Freedom Party (IFP) who was elected to the Dublin City Council.

In the rest of Europe that's becoming the pattern as anti-immigration, pro-conservative candidates won throughout Europe in the EU’s June 9 vote.  Read “Europe’s Left is Rattled” by Rich Kozlovich.

AI and the Elites

By J.R. Dunn  August 28, 2023

A few weeks ago, Joe Allen responded to my "Artificial Intelligence: The Facts" by suggesting that the real danger of AIs is that the best, most efficient models will be operated by the Deep State and its technofascist allies, rendering opposition difficult if not futile: “…AI won't be a "digital defense" against "the WEF" and "tech giants" when the latter have the most powerful systems.” This is a perceptive comment, towering well above the “SkyNet is comin’ with his cyborgs” nonsense that this discussion usually attracts.

Vernor Vinge, an outsized influence on infotech culture, once speculated that a truly efficient totalitarian system wouldn’t consist of jackbooted secret police and continuous surveillance but in fact would scarcely be evident. Things would just happen to enemies of the state, accidents that nobody could predict or explain. For instance, an individual presenting a problem for the powers would order something for dinner that arrives chock full of botulin toxin, injected in the lab that transforms insect proteins into edible food. As the toxin hits, his phone, internet, and monitoring equipment all go down. After the job is done, they all come back up, their logs edited to show nothing at all unusual. When the body is discovered, there’s no evidence of anything out of the ordinary. Death by misadventure. What ya gonna do?................ To Read More....

Why ruling elites hate and fear genuine Christians

David Kupelian on how oligarchs finally dropped the pretense and now openly identify their real enem

In case you missed it, two shocking and unprecedented megatrends are unfolding simultaneously in the United States of America right now. The first is the explosion of what can only be described as openly predatory targeting of America’s children by legions of “gender activists” obsessed with seducing, grooming and recruiting kids into the phantasmagoric transgender world of puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, surgical amputation of healthy body parts and astronomical suicide rates.  Incredibly, this wild celebration of transgenderism is being praised, promoted and funded by the ruling class at the highest levels, from the White House on down, while all who sound the alarm are demonized and canceled. .....Why ruling elites hate and fear genuine Christians

Republican Voters Want ‘Blood’—Will Their Leaders Deliver?

After the much-hyped John Durham probe ends with a whimper and House Democrats ratchet up their public pursuit of Trump associates, the Republican base wants action, not more sternly worded letters.

The U.S. Department of Justice will soon decide whether to close down the investigation into the origins of Russiagate, a lie fabricated by Barack Obama’s FBI, Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, and the Democratic National Committee among other bad actors seeking to ruin Donald Trump. U.S. Attorney John Durham, named special counsel by former Attorney General William Barr in October 2020 after more than 18 months of dawdling, has uncovered a damning trail of evidence to show “collusion” existed not between Trump and the Kremlin but between Democratic Party interests, including the national news media, in an attempt to rig the 2016 presidential election.

It’s unclear whether Durham will issue a final report on the matter; what is clear, however, is Durham’s effort has been an abysmal failure in terms of holding anyone criminally responsible for the biggest political fraud in modern history. .................To Read More..

Delingpole: COP26 - A Perfect Storm of Stupid

James Delingpole

The best commentary so far on the COP26 climate summit comes courtesy of God. He has made His displeasure known by sending a mighty wind to smite a church whose well-meaning but misguided vicar asked his congregation to pray for this diabolical, Gaia-worshipping expression of globalist elite domination.

“We were just praying for the COP26 conference in church when we were hit by what I can only describe as a tornado, which took out a number of trees including this pre Conquest yew,” writes the amiable former pop star and BBC presenter turned Church of England priest, Rev Richard Coles.

 Image

Coles is by no means the only clergyman to have fallen for this green nonsense. The rot goes right to the top.

But if God really is such a fan of Malthusianism, bat-chomping, bird-slicing eco-crucifixes, energy poverty, private jets for the elite and travel restrictions for the masses, rent-seeking corporate greed, horse-trading, corruption, green lies, and propaganda, He has a funny way of showing it.

COP26 has begun in Glasgow, Scotland, as it will surely go on for the next fortnight: in chaos and disaster. Just like the infamous COP15 in 2009 in Copenhagen, which preached ‘global warming’ but was blanketed in snow, COP26 is a perfect storm of stupid.

Pretty much everything that could have gone wrong has gone wrong, starting with the celebrity guest list: of the world’s leaders, just about the only one of any significance to bother turning up is President Joe Biden (who arrives in rainswept Glasgow on Monday); President Xi of China, President Putin of Russia and President Bolsonaro of Brazil have all apparently decided that for the duration of this particular fortnight they have more urgent business washing their hair.

Normally at this point, desperate UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who has staked his reputation on the summit’s success, could have played his trump card: the Queen.

Unfortunately, the Queen is indisposed. Now 95 and recently widowed, the normally indefatigable monarch is ill and has been advised by her doctors to rest.

Which leaves, as a consolation prize, her eldest son the Prince of Wales to do the honours. But Prince Charles has not nearly the same cachet, authority, or prestige as the Queen. In fact, he’s probably more of a liability.

Like the Boy Who Cried Wolf, Prince Charles has bleated so often about the imminent threat of ‘climate change’ that hardly anyone takes his burblings seriously any more. Also, as a regular at Klaus ‘Anal’ Schwab’s World Economic Forum, he has proved such a slavish advocate of the Build Back Better globalist agenda that it is not at all obvious that he even speaks for his future ‘subjects’ any more.

Nor is the political leader of the host country Scotland likely to be of much help to Johnson. Nicola ‘Krankie Woman’ Sturgeon heads a party, the Scottish National Party (SNP), bitterly at odds with Johnson’s Conservatives. And because the host city, Glasgow, is controlled by the SNP, her party has the perfect opportunity to help sabotage the event.

A conveniently-timed strike by the city’s refuse workers has left Glasgow swarming with rats and stagnant with uncollected rubbish. Cunningly, Glasgow’s SNP council leader has blamed this on former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher (who has been dead for eight years and never, even in life, had any say over Glasgow’s bin collections).

Local people are reportedly unimpressed by the political shenanigans staged in their midst. But then, COP26 was never meant for the proles; always, but always, COP events have been an expression of elite supremacy.

Over the next two weeks, fleets of private jets will be landing at Glasgow airport, met by fleets of limousines to carry the billionaire ‘elite’ and their political stooges to a cordoned off special zone where they will lecture the ordinary folk on how they must live in their new ‘sustainable’ future.

‘One rule for thee, another for me,’ is the globalist elite’s motto.

Cruel and Unusual Prosecutions

Federal charges against three of the officers in the George Floyd case are unwarranted and ill-advised.

The Biden Justice Department has announced that it will seek federal civil rights charges against the three police officers who, along with Derek Chauvin, participated in the fatal arrest of George Floyd. This decision can’t be reconciled with the Justice Department’s own policy guidelines on second prosecutions. What’s more, prosecuting these officers will have serious negative consequences for police work in this country.

Let’s be clear here: we’re not talking about Derek Chauvin. We’re talking about J. Alexander Kueng, Thomas Lane, and Tou Thao. These three cops are not accused of using excessive force; nor are they accused of illegally seizing Floyd. Moreover, two of them were inexperienced—Lane had been on the force only four days—and were following directives from Chauvin, the senior officer.

The government’s argument is that the three officers violated Floyd’s civil rights by assisting Chauvin, who seized Floyd in arguable violation of the Fourth Amendment. But Officer Thao was merely keeping bystanders away and had no part in restraining Floyd; he couldn’t possibly be accused of an illegal seizure. The other two, Kueng and Lane, held Floyd’s legs and back down, but this, too, does not constitute an illegal seizure, since the arrest was lawful, and Floyd had to be restrained when he refused to enter the patrol car. Furthermore, the force these two officers used was a far cry from the neck pressure Chauvin employed.

The indictment alleges that the three “willfully failed to intervene to stop Defendant Chauvin’s use of unreasonable force.” “Willful” means that the accused cops knew they were wrong. This will be difficult to prove, given that the inexperienced defendants were following the directions of a senior officer and the force used was not obviously excessive, such as in the case of a suspect being shot or clubbed.

These prosecutions are sending a clear message: that junior cops must second-guess their superiors in use-of-force incidents, lest they run the risk of federal imprisonment. But this is contrary to police training and discipline in the United States, and it puts inexperienced officers in an impossible situation. On top of all the other pressures they face, young cops must now choose between jeopardizing their careers by turning in or even restraining a superior, on the one hand, or facing federal prosecution if officials subsequently decide their partners’ use of force was excessive, on the other.

This prosecution puts police, who must make split-second judgments when confronting suspects who may be armed and dangerous, in a real bind. In an earlier time, the public understood this predicament. This meant that spur-of-the-moment decisions that, in hindsight, were mistaken—what looked like a gun wasn’t a gun—would not be held against the officer. The result was that prosecutions of police were difficult; unfortunately, this meant that abusive officers sometimes got away with excessive force. Now the pendulum has swung. The days of benefit-of-the-doubt are over. The police must get it right nowadays, even if the situation they confront is ambiguous.

The indictments pose another problem. The Justice Department has a long-standing policy—the so-called Petite rule—that is supposed to govern federal prosecutions that follow state charges for the same alleged misconduct. The policy states that the department seeks to “protect persons charged with criminal conduct from the burdens associated with multiple prosecutions and punishments for substantially the same act(s).” The state of Minnesota has already charged Kueng, Lane, and Thao with aiding and abetting murder by failing to restrain Chauvin and assist Floyd. In other words, the misconduct the state is alleging is identical to the acts serving as the basis for federal charges. Under Petite, the federal prosecutions shouldn’t be happening.

To anyone who isn’t an attorney, all this sounds like a violation of the Constitution’s provisions against double jeopardy. However, the Supreme Court has held that the federal government has the authority to enforce its own laws, even if the conduct involved also violates state law. The Petite policy seeks to moderate the harshness of this rule by requiring a “substantial federal interest” to support the federal charges. But there is no federal interest in prosecuting officers who did not themselves willfully and affirmatively violate someone’s constitutional rights.

The government will argue that there is a federal interest in getting police to restrain overly aggressive colleagues. But the state prosecutions are already serving this end. (The state prosecutions have been postponed until March 2022 to avoid prejudicial publicity; the federal prosecution may face the same problem.) Control of the police is still a state and local matter in the United States, and Minnesota is exercising due diligence. In this case, the prosecutions, along with investigations of entire departments for civil rights violations, may signal the Biden administration’s intent to increase federal control over state and local police.

At a time when many big cities are experiencing rising crime, demoralizing the police is bad policy that will make recruiting new officers more difficult. Why take up a career in which second-guessing your boss can get you fired for insubordination and failing to do so can land you in prison? The prudent person is apt to pick a safer line of work, while the more heedless will enter the next class at the police academy. Isn’t this the opposite of what we want?
