Climate Change: The Next Covid

Since Marxist Democrats no longer have COVID, their next apocalypse is climate change. For decades, it was “global cooling.” When that didn’t pan out because the earth was not cooling, they switched to “global warming.” That also didn’t work out. To avoid future embarrassment, leftists switched to “climate change.” Time magazine regularly features Armageddon climate change cover stories—that never come true, but do they care?

The progressive media loves doomsday headlines, but rarely publishes follow-up articles showing how their original story made as much sense as Elvis working in a 7-Eleven. Here are a few end of world articles from the last 50 years:

November 17, 1967: The Salt Lake Tribune had a front-page article “Dire Famine by 1975” and the sub-heading declared that it was already too late.

August 10, 1968: The New York Times announced that “everyone will disappear in a cloud of blue steam by 1989.”

April 16, 1970: The Boston Globe reported that “Scientists Predict a New Ice Age in 21^st Century.”

October 6, 1970: The Redland Daily Facts shared a speech given by Dr. Paul Ehrlich who had made it a career of predicting the demise of something. During his speech, Ehrlich predicted that “the oceans will be as dead as Lake Erie in less than a decade.

July 9, 1971: The Washington Post announced in an above-the-fold headline that “U.S. Scientist Sees New Ice Age Coming.” (Predicting Biden’s love of ice cream?)

JOHN KERRY in 2009: “In five years we will have the first ice free Artic summer.”

There are many more examples from the last 100+ years of hysterical climate change predictions NOT coming true. Marxist Democrats want to scare the populace so they will follow their crazy mandates. A few years ago, we would have rolled our eyes that Americans would ever act like sheep and accept lockdowns and mask insanity. Then we watched millions of fellow Americans hide at home and put on useless masks even after the science showed masks did nothing to prevent the spread of a virus. Today, sheep continue wearing masks. Marxist Democrats screaming “climate change” is how tyranny comes to the United States.
