The Trump Indictment, USSR Style!

By Rich Kozlovich

One thing is clear, this indictment of Donald Trump is nothing more than a Soviet style system of political intimidation, tyranny, and a precursor to more of the same, and worse. If They Can Do It to Trump, They Will Do It to You.  I've been saving articles that clearly outline what is really going on, and it's not pretty.

Banana Republic USA Indicts Former President Trump – Let the Games Begin! by | Jun 8, 2023 - The federal bureaucrats in the Department of Justice and the FBI have made the rules of the game obsolete and irrelevant. They bend the rules or ignore them entirely, they lie, they cheat, and they destroy whoever gets in their way. Donald Trump is their primary target, and they have now crossed the line that once separated America from the banana republics of the world.............

Trump did not violate the law because he could not violate the law - By Andrea Widburg - Those conservatives rightly outraged at the Trump indictment keep comparing his treatment to that given to Hillary, Biden, and Pence, each of whom admitted to violating national security laws. That’s the wrong argument because Trump is not similarly situated to those lawbreakers. Instead, because he was president when he took possession of the documents, Trump cannot be guilty of the crimes with which he’s charged. It starts with the Constitution, which created three equal branches of government: The legislative branch (Art. I), the executive (presidential) branch (Art. II), and the judiciary (Art. III). As part of his authority as the nation’s chief executive, the Art II president is also commander-in-chief of the military............

As the article points out if there is no underlying crime, there can be obstruction of justice charge, and nothing Trump did can be considered a crime.

Here’s the Brief Analysis of the Trump Indictment You Need to Real - By Jun. 10, 2023  - Famed attorney Robert Barnes has one of the most interesting Twitter accounts for politics. It’s not just what he posts himself, which is often very informative. It’s also what he finds and retweets that grabs my attention. He retweeted the thread below by Matt Beebe that delivers an analysis of the indictment of President Donald J. Trump. It offers insights into what powers the president possesses over classified documents that are relevant to what we’re seeing today…........

REVEALED: Merrick Garland and Jack Smith Used Linguistic Tricks to Indict President Trump on Junk Documents Charges - The more you learn, the more you detest these lawless thugs. On Saturday, The Conservative Treehouse disclosed how Merrick Garland and Jack Smith used a linguistic trick to indict President Trump on junk documents charges. It’s well known that Merrick Garland is a serial liar and has committed perjury in front of the US Congress without consequence. Jack Smith, the far left partisan who Garland appointed as Special Counsel, has a disturbingly lawless career. Smith had one case overturned by the Supreme Court for lying and withholding evidence. Smith was an instrumental player in the IRS conservative targeting scandal before the 2012 election. And like in many federal jobs, the more Jack Smith lied and cheated the further he advanced.  And it appears Jack Smith is up to his old tricks.......The indictment accuses President Trump of withholding documents containing “classified markings,” a very specifically deployed obtuse wording intended to create the implication of something nefarious where nothing nefarious exists.....

The DOJ allegedly used coercion against an attorney working for a Trump defendant By Andrea Widburg June 11, 2023 - Gimlet-eyed conservatives have noted a whole raft of things that are wrong with the Trump indictment, including not only failed legal points but also other dirty tricks. These include the DOJ’s leaks and its showing photos of all the boxes that Trump had stored at Mar-a-Lago, even though only a few documents lie at the heart of this legally and factually dishonest case. It turns out that the DOJ has also threatened a defendant’s lawyer to turn him against his client. ............As you may already know, Trump is not the only one the DOJ is persecuting…er, prosecuting. The DOJ also filed charges against Walt Nauta, a Navy veteran and Trump’s valet, accusing him of helping Trump conceal documents. (Remember, you cannot be accused of being engaged in or an accomplice to a crime if there’s no crime, to begin with.) As is becoming the norm, it turns out that the DOJ is engaging in dirty tricks as to Nauta, too............

BREAKING: Biden’s DOJ Tried to Bribe Attorney for Trump’s Valet in Exchange for Testimony Against Trump – Clearly Illegal Act That Threatens Jack Smith’s Case Against Trump - On Thursday The Guardian reported that Joe Biden’s DOJ attempted to bribe the attorney for Trump valet driver in exchange for testimony against Donald Trump.  Clearly, this is an illegal act and it should threaten the case against President Trump. The only criminal act in this entire case is the actions by the Biden DOJ!.........The lawyer for Donald Trump’s valet, under scrutiny in the Mar-a-Lago documents investigation, has submitted court papers describing a meeting at which a top federal prosecutor brought up his application to be a judge when they tried to gain the valet’s cooperation last year, according to three people familiar with the matter...........

Same Plot, Different Actors By Clarice Feldman  June 11, 2023 - Just as Hollywood seems stuck on the notion of releasing new versions of once-popular films using new actors, the corrupt Department of Justice seems to be using the same tattered playbook once again in the preposterous and ill-considered indictment of President Trump. Only if you saw the originals, you know the plot tricks this time.  I refer you to the Lewis “Scooter” Libby and Senator Ted Stevens cases I’ve written about here. In particular, the detailed account of the former case in the now defunct Weekly Standard.  It was written in 2006 and is now in the Washington Examiner archives. ........

Clarice Feldman goes on to point out all this chicanery has not been the exception, it's been the rule at the DOJ, citing cases involving Valarie Plame, Richard Armitage, Lewis Libby.  It was clear the Libby case was in reality an effort to "get" then VP Chaney.  Then the Senator Stevens case, and how the DOJ helped get Obamacare passed in that case.   The Mar-A-Lago raid was and example of DOJ corruption, and "the House Judiciary Committee has detailed the irregularities of the raid on Mar-a-Lago and demanded answers and records from Attorney General Merrick Garland."

Jordan releases more details about FBI's scandalous raid on Mar-a-Lago - Cites FBI official who confirmed search did not follow standard practices - By Bob Unruh June 9, 2023 - Just as the Joe Biden administration has revealed the indictment of President Donald Trump for taking government documents from his presidency with him when he left office, a congressional leader has confronted that very same Department of Justice for anomalies in the FBI's scandalous raid on Trump's Mar-a-Lago home. It was that raid that allegedly sought classified documents in Trump's home. He has said he declassified the paperwork that was there...............

Biden’s Gestapo Prepares Another Strike Against Trump by | Jun 9, 2023 After Dark with Hosts Rob & Andrew – “They” are at it again. “They” are the usual suspects of Joe Biden and his corrupt White House regime, which includes the DOJ, FBI, and their propaganda arm, the liberal media. All are planning another concerted attack on former President Donald Trump. This time Biden’s regime has weaponized the DOJ under the direction of Merrick Garland’s Federal Special Counsel, Jack Smith, to carry out their nefarious plan. According to published reports, Smith’s team has contacted Trump’s attorneys to notify them that he is the subject of a criminal investigation. This is the first step taken before an indictment. Before the former president’s attorneys were notified, there had been several leaks to the media that he would be indicted. The indictment appears to be over Trump’s handling of classified documents from the White House to his private residence in Mar-a-Lago after he left office in 2020............

So, now we have to wonder, after all this corruption by the Biden administration just  how strong a case can they make against Trump?  Below are pieces which outline that.

ANALYSIS: How Strong Is the Case Against Trump? Tom Ozimek - Expert opinions and closer scrutiny of the indictment against former President Donald Trump points to questions about the strength of the case and the legitimacy of procedures around obtaining evidence, even as the charges are serious. Trump stands accused of illegally hoarding classified documents at his Florida estate after leaving the White House in 2021 and then lying and scheming to thwart government efforts to get them back. The 49-page federal indictment charges Trump with 37 felony counts, including violating the federal Espionage Act and other federal statutes for allegedly conspiring to obstruct justice, making false statements, and concealing documents................

Trump Indictment Fails Crucial Test: Dershowitz  -The federal indictment against former President Donald Trump fails a crucial test, law professor Alan Dershowitz says.“It doesn’t meet what I call the Richard Nixon standard, which was very clear obstruction of justice, destroying evidence, paying bribes,” Dershowitz, a professor emeritus at Harvard Law School, said on Newsmax on June 9 after the indictment was unsealed. “This is too close a case to bring against the man running for president, against the incumbent president,” Dershowitz added. Two paragraphs in the indictment do appear to meet the standard of the planned prosecution of former President Nixon, according to the law professor...............

Two Damning Paragraphs: Alan Dershowitz Dishes on Trump's Indictment -  The Justice Department’s indictment of former President Donald Trump is still all the rage on the airwaves and interwebs. Members of the chattering class have been chiming in, giving their two cents on the matter. Renowned Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz recently offered his opinion on the case during an appearance on Newsmax in which he indicated that Trump’s situation is precarious, but his fate isn’t necessarily sealed.

And of course, the Never Trump RINOS Celebrate, Underplay DOJ Indictment

"former RNC chair Michael Steele to the Lincoln Project to George Conway, the various public figures did not hide their joy upon hearing about the indictment while others, such as Jonah Goldberg and David French, underplayed the indictment as standard procedure, completely unperturbed by the fact that the DOJ has indicted a former president."

But what are the long term consequences of this unprecedented and corrupt practice?  These corrupt usurpers of justice are playing with fire.  They've sown the wind and they're going to reap the whirlwind if they don't succeed.  They're now in a situation they must now impose tyranny to survive.  I'll come back to that.

While Trump is being charged with can only be called "questionable" crimes, we now know what many of us have been saying right along, the Biden Crime family is the is the most corrupt political family in American history, and is only exceeded in their corruption by the media. Liberal News Host Melts Down After Guest Points Out Hypocrisy In Trump Indictment.

That bring us to the point.

As Trump indicted for questionable crimes, real crimes uncovered by Durham Report remain unprosecuted. How is this not banana republic behavior?  And Biden isn't alone in this:

"In the middle of directing the difficult task of transferring the historically important records of the Obama administration into the National Archives, the archivist in charge, David Ferriero, ran into a serious problem: A lot of key records are missing." "And yet the accumulation of recent congressional testimony has made it clear that the Obama administration itself engaged in the wholesale destruction and “loss” of tens of thousands of government records covered under the act as well as the intentional evasion of the government records recording system by engaging in private email exchanges." – “Crisis at the National Archives”

Now we come to my reaping the whirlwind comment.  Now a precedent has been set.  Going after a former President is just fine and dandy, even if no crime has been committed.  And that's the rub isn't.  Biden has been deep into criminal activity for many years. The "Big Guy" has been taking bribes to take positions on policy that are not in America's best interests, and even if they were, taking a bribe is a crime!

The feds already have all the evidence they need to charge Biden with bribery to change our policy in Ukraine June 11, 2023 The DOJ has long held the evidence needed to charge Joe Biden with bribery to change our policy in Ukraine. (And all the evidence needed to charge Hunter with several crimes, too.)

We keep hearing hypocrites like Comey intoning, "no one is above the law", and that's going to come back to haunt them.  All this corruption of the rule of law is backfiring on Biden and his misfit crew.  Polls show Trump is more popular than ever, meaning America knows this is nothing but tyrannous corruption be the Deep State.  If Trump is re-elected make no mistake, he will appoint a mad dog in a meat market for his Attorney General. If, or when that happens, Biden, Hunter, the Clintons, Comey and that entire host of corrupt members of the Obama administration, even many at the FBI, DOJ, CIA, and NSA are going to have to face federal prosecutors for their criminal activity and it may even include Obama, because "no one is above the law", and his history is at best shady.

Does Obama pay for anything with his own money? June 12, 2023 By Susan Daniels - I have been chasing Obama since 2009 when I uncovered, while working as a licensed private investigator, that he has used a phony CT social security number his entire adult life...........

That's called reaping the whirlwind.
