In a rush for Fulton County district attorney Paul Howard to distract from the investigation of his own wrongdoings regarding a missing $140,000, Howard quickly charged former police officer Garrett Rolfe with eleven felonies before an investigation could be properly done into a police shooting. Not only is Howard under investigation, but he is in a hotly contested primary in August. Howard did not take the case to the Grand Jury and, in an apparent political move, immediately charged Rolfe.
On June 12, 2020, Rayshard Brooks, 27, fought with two police officers and grabbed one of their taser guns. As he ran away, he turned to try to shoot Rolfe, and Rolfe shot him in self-defense. Brooks had, among other things, four previous charges of obstructing a police officer, cruelty to children, and domestic violence.
It made no sense why Brooks would fight the police until you look at his criminal history. The following are interactions he had with law enforcement.
On 08/22/2016, he was sentenced to twelve months in jail and to three years' probation on each of the five felony counts, which were to be served concurrently. On 12/20/2018, an arrest warrant was issued for him regarding his last arrest.............. To Read More....

An Uncivil War
Left-wing thinking effectively blanks out the real distinctions between representative government and totalitarian dictatorship.- Roger Scruton, Fools, Frauds and Firebrands

There is a growing consensus among conservative writers and many individual citizens that America has descended into a condition of virtual civil war. It is not, or not yet, characterized by military confrontations on a national scale, as in 1861-65, but the facts on the ground strongly suggest a breakdown of civil order:

There is a growing consensus among conservative writers and many individual citizens that America has descended into a condition of virtual civil war. It is not, or not yet, characterized by military confrontations on a national scale, as in 1861-65, but the facts on the ground strongly suggest a breakdown of civil order:
- the irreconcilable conflict between the political left and right;
- the belligerence and vituperation that passes for a national “conversation”;
- sporadic acts of violence, flash mobs and organized riots erupting in every corner of the country;
- the dismal lack of local and state leadership;
- Orwellian Ministries of Truth, otherwise known as digital platforms, controlling and censoring information; a rabid feminist network intent on destabilizing cultural traditions and mores;
- a president betrayed by his own generals and party senators;
- a rogue enclave set up by malcontents and domestic terrorists in the middle of an American city;
- and racial mayhem fomented and exploited by a class of partisan criminals.

Who Owns the Streets?
June 21, 2020 By E.M. Cadwaladr
The early 20th-century sociologist Max Weber starkly observed that a monopoly on the legitimate use of violence is what defines a state. In other words, only a county's own acknowledged government has the ultimate right to use force against its citizens. With the very limited exception of immediate self-defense, the use of force by anyone other than the government must be seen as an act of either criminality or war. A federal system such as ours may complicate things a little — but the principle still holds true. If anyone outside the legitimate government is ceded the right to use violence to achieve his own ends, the government becomes a nullity to the extent of that allowance.
Ugly and un-utopian though this principle may sound, it benefits society as a whole. It cannot be denied that there are, and have always been, people in civilized societies who are unfit to live in them. There have always been murderers, rapists, and thieves. Even under the best imaginable set of laws and social conditions, there will always be people unconstrained by human empathy or social inhibitions. Someone must police them. Humanity will never be wholly free from antisocial behavior, so someone, however imperfect, has to be there to stop it short when it occurs.
Today, unfortunately, the voice of reason has been shouted down. Many of our cities and states have begun to disintegrate under cowering politicians who surrender their dignity and our safety to the mob. When people are suffered to loot, riot, desecrate, murder, and seize territory while officials stand idly by, it is more than just the latest cultural outrage. It is a failure by public officials to meet even the table stakes of their own legitimacy.
Why should anyone, rich or poor, black or white, bother listening to Mayor Durkan of Seattle?
She has ceded the heart of her city to armed extremists when she had the means to stop them. Small business–owners in Seattle, Minneapolis, and New York have dutifully paid their taxes — only to have their shops first closed by the government, then set on fire by the rioters. Mayors and governors have done nothing.
These officials are no more than cringing little criminals — who prey upon the weak but kneel subserviently before a bolder, scarier class of thugs. Small business–owners in these lawless places have no legitimate local or state governments. What choice do they have but to cut their losses and vote with their feet?............To Read More....

A Sharia Victory in the Netherlands
November 24, 2018 By Daniel A. Brubaker
This November was meant to be the month for MP Geert Wilders’ second “Draw Muhammad” contest, but Islamic law won a de facto victory over Dutch law mere weeks ago as Wilders announced the contest’s cancellation. When -- among many other threats similar attacks -- a 19-year-old Afghan stabbed two American tourists in Amsterdam, citing the planned contest as motive, Wilders canceled the event out of concern about further violence.
The Islamists had made their point: “Having the law on your side makes no difference. Do what we want, or somebody is going to get hurt.”
Such antics by Islamist Muslims are not new to Wilders and other speech and conscience advocates. In retribution for his firm and outspoken stance on this subject, he has “spent 15 years living in safe houses and escorted by a security detail due to constant death threats.” These are the tactics, of course, of any common mafia.
In securing Wilders’ retreat, the terrorists established Sharia’s authority for now in the Netherlands on the issue of speech......... What is going on, in other words, are tests of national sovereignty, a battle of civilizations. In this most recent round, I regret to report, the winner was not Western civilization, but rather the Islamist mob......... To Read more

Mob Rule — Endorsed by CNN, Democrats — Takes Ugly Turn
Bobby Eberle
October 18, 2018
What did they think was going to happen? If harassment occurs, and it’s not disavowed, what do media outlets such as CNN and left-wing agitators such as Maxine Waters think will happen next?
If disrupting the lives of American citizens is not only not condemned but actually praised, then the only logical next step is physical violence. Guess what? The mob rule endorsed by the left is here. It’s happening. And people are getting hurt...............How did we get to this point? It’s quite simple. When Democrats can’t win at the ballot box, and their media counterparts can influence the general population like they used to, then threats, intimidation, and violence become the tools. It’s not an exaggeration. It’s reality.............To Read More........

The Frankenstein Unleashed by the Democratic Party Threatens Us All
Bob Barr Oct 17, 2018
To most Americans, a large group of black-clad individuals blockading the streets and harassing motorists who disobey their commands would, quite naturally, be considered a mob. This also would be an apt and reasonable name given to groups of people stalking and screaming at others dining in a restaurant, destroying public monuments, or throwing Molotov cocktails in protest of speakers at a college campus. After all, by definition, a mob is “a large and disorderly crowd of people,” especially those “bent on riotous or destructive action”; and, these incidents are such examples. As we lawyers say, res ipsa loquitur, “the matter speaks for itself.”
The problem is, the Mainstream Media and congressional Democrats are not most Americans. In their Liberal La-La Land, like at CNN, one dares not speak “the ‘M’-word” (“mob”) when commenting on events such as these. To these pundits, those roaming gangs and shouting crowds are not mobs, but merely concerned citizens understandably “motivated” by the dangerous actions of the Trump Administration.
Herein lies the existential crisis for Democrats, and the dirty little secret they refuse to acknowledge openly -- is mob rule what Democrats have become? And is it what our country is becoming?........To Read More....
