Missouri Has the Highest Black Homicide Rate in America

In what it calls a crisis, the Violence Policy Center’s new study says Black Missourians are killed at more than twice the national rate for the Black community, and 94% are killed by guns. It's the seventh year in a row that Missouri has ranked as the highest Black homicide rate in the country.

Missouri has the highest Black homicide rate in the U.S. for the seventh year in a row — and the violence is driven by guns, a new study found. The report, by the Washington-based gun control advocacy nonprofit Violence Policy Center, found that Black Missourians are killed at a rate of nearly 51 per 100,000 people — more than twice the national Black homicide rate and 8.5 times the overall homicide rate across the country. Josh Sugarmann, the center’s executive director, said Missouri has reached a crisis. The Black homicide victimization rate in Missouri increased by 46% from 2014 to 2020, he said.

My Take - Crime is surging throughout America's cities, and the Democrats own it, lock, stock and barrel, and they want to do two things.  Give these ravenous wolves a pass on their crimes by Soros funded insane leftist prosecutors, and arrest anyone who defends themselves against these monsters.  

This can't go on.  If the economy collapses, we're going to see the stable elements of society rebel, violently.   I'm expecting to see riots as this country has never known.

The official transcript of the seven-hour deposition of Dr. Anthony Fauci in a lawsuit alleging the federal government colluded with social media companies to censor speech has been released.  Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt, who joined in the lawsuit with Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, noted via Twitter on Monday that the Nov. 23 transcript shows Fauci said "I don't recall" 174 times.

Schmitt spotlighted a Feb. 4, 2020, email advising former Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Burwell not to wear a mask when traveling. On March 8, he told "60 Minutes" there's "no reason to be walking around with a mask. However, less than one month later, he was advocating universal mask mandates.

After saying he didn't recall the Burwell email, Fauci, when prompted with more information, said," I vaguely recall talking to [Burwell] about certain safety issues regarding masks."

The email, however, had been publicized after it was obtained through a FOIA request because it undermined Fauci's claim that he was telling a noble lie to the "60 Minutes" audience to ensure frontline workers didn't run out of masks.

When he came out on April 3, 2020, in favor of universal masking, Fauci also contended the science had changed regarding the effectiveness of masks in curbing the spread of SARS-CoV-2.............To Read More....


Forgetful Fauci’s Deposition: All Those Lies Are Hard to Keep Straight

Anthony Fauci’s penchant for misleading the public about COVID-19 may be heading into a federal courtroom soon, owing to a lawsuit brought by the Attorneys General of Missouri, Louisiana, and the New Civil Liberties Alliance. On November 23, 2022, Fauci sat for a sworn deposition about his own actions in directing the United States’ pandemic response. Consistent with his past media appearances, Fauci displayed a penchant for bending the truth to fit his own narrative and, more specifically, denied his own involvement in suppressing the Great Barrington Declaration (GBD) in October 2020. Only this time, it was under oath.

Just about a year ago, on the anniversary date of October 5, 2021 to be exact, we took what we thought would be our retrospective and dispassionate look at the GBD, as lockdowns dissipated and mask mandates faded away. Two months later, AIER discovered a shocking revelation in emails received from a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to Fauci’s office. In early October of 2020, Dr. Francis Collins, then Director of the National Institutes of Health, ordered Fauci and his trusted lieutenant Clifford Lane to wage “a quick and devastating published take down (sic)” of the Great Barrington Declaration’s premises..............

But Anthony Fauci decided that he himself was the representative of science, and no other opinions would be welcome in the public sphere.

And it’s really not much of a surprise now that Fauci wants to forget about all of this. It’s unseemly after all, that the Representative of Science would target fellow scientists trying only to do their jobs. But he will not be able to brush this mess under the carpet in his retirement from the NIH. Bringing Fairness and Justice Back to Our Judicial System

We need to make sure plaintiff attorneys will not look to exploit biased courtrooms across the country by finding even the thinnest of connections between their cases and the state.

It has become a textbook case of a state-court lawsuit so rife with legal errors that it now threatens the fairness of the judicial system across the country. The case is Ingham v. Johnson & Johnson and the now-infamous courtroom was based right in my hometown of St. Louis.  With so many irregularities tied to this case, one has to wonder why the trial was held in St. Louis.  It turns out the trial attorney masterminds behind Ingham had about 4.7 billion reasons to bring their claims to St. Louis............

The argument is straightforward.   Plaintiffs brought their case in Missouri despite only the most tenuous connections to the state: Of the 22 plaintiffs, only five lived or worked in Missouri. As a result, a jury of Missourians was asked to follow 218 jury instructions from 12 different states that took more than five hours to read. ...............Unfortunately, Missouri courtrooms are well-known for being slanted against employers. When are Local and State Governments Illegitimate?

Watching “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Monday night, my stomach turned and heart sank.  Carlson ran video footage of a couple in Portland being dragged from their pickup truck and beaten.  Their sin: their whiteness.  The culprits, BLM thugs.

There were no police to intervene.  Portland police, like Seattle and Minneapolis police, are practically neutered.  Police are hamstrung, defunded, and demoralized in these cities.  Many have handed in their notices.  National Guard deployments are verboten.  Curfews are nonexistent.  The human excrement that pummels innocents to within inches of their lives are ghouls prowling the night.  They’d come for us, if they could. 

This descent into hell is enabled by so-called progressive Democrats in the aforesaid cities and Minneapolis, Chicago, New York, and wherever next.

The progressives have names:
  • Ted Wheeler, 
  • Jenny Durkan, 
  • Jacob Frey -- 
all mayors -- along with numerous council members. And governors,
  •  Kate Brown, 
  • Jay Inslee, and 
  • Tim Walz.  
  • Add Lori Lightfoot, 
  • J.B. Pritzker, 
  • Bill de Blasio, 
  • and Andrew Cuomo to the roster.
All -- all -- have taken oaths of office to uphold the law and attend to the public safety.  They are glaringly derelict in their duties. These elected leaders aren’t simply craven, they’re complicit in the violence and destruction that bedevils their cities. 
  • They see the mobs in the streets.
  • They witness the destruction.
  • They are apprised of the violence.
  • They know innocents are being harmed.
  • They know citizens cower behind locked doors.
  • They know -- know – that the least among their constituents are the most vulnerable to the predation. Yet they permit the mayhem.
  • They let the mobs roam.
  • They fiddle as their cities burn.
These elected leaders are, in fact, aiding and abetting insurrections.  Their inactions are actions.  They hate America, the America of the founding, the America of liberty and the rule of law.  They learned to detest the nation growing up in “progressive” households and on college campuses.  What other conclusions can we draw?  Today, we finally know: scratch a progressive and you uncover a revolutionary...........

Let’s turn to the Declaration of Independence for guidance.
That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner has let violent rioters go, has dropped charged against gun felons, and sued the city’s police department. Now she is charging Mark and Patricia McCloskey for defending their lives and property from a mob that broke into a gated community in large numbers. Welcome to Sodom and Gomorrah … unless we the people fight back.............

Both Governor Mike Parson and state Attorney General Eric Schmitt said they believe the couple had the right to self-defense and plan to help shield them from any punishment...............

As I predicted, this has nothing to do with concerns about police brutality............ It’s truly shocking how Republicans in the Senate refuse to make a strong anti-crime push and pro-self-defense agenda headed into the annual budget bill and the national election. It’s also shocking that the Department of Justice has not more aggressively targeted these Soros prosecutors in big cities for civil rights violations against innocent white victims of racially motivated prosecutions...........

Nearly three times as many children have been shot this year in Chicago as last year. A number of cities have more murders than any time since the generation-long reduction in violence began in the 1990s.

St. Louis already has 133 homicides, the most this early in a year since 1994. That’s what happens when the prosecutor is a Soros puppet who treats victims like criminals and gun felons like victims. Amy Klobuchar Blames the Bill of Rights

 The tragedy in Minneapolis has certainly put Senator Amy Klobuchar on the spot. She is, or has been, a front runner to be Joe Biden's running mate. She is also the ex-prosecutor in the Missouri County that includes the city where a police officer is accused of murdering Floyd George. It turns out that in 2006 Ms. Klobuchar once had the accused killer, Officer Derek Chauvin, in her sights in an unrelated killing by police, but no charges were handed up.

It’s one thing for Ms. Klobuchar to point out that she had already moved up to the Senate by the time the grand jury balked at indicting Officer Chauvin in the 2006 case. Fair enough. It’s another thing, though, for her to blame the grand jury system itself..............

Minnesota leaders say arrested protesters are not local residents: 'We don't know these folks'

The mayor of St. Paul, the sister city to Minneapolis, announced Saturday that every protester arrested during Friday's riots were from out-of-state.  Speaking at a press conference, Mayor Melvin Carter (D) said out-of-state agitators were responsible for the violent unrest in St. Paul on Friday. Demonstrations erupted in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area this week in response to the tragic death of George Floyd.

"Every single person we arrested last night, I'm told, was from out of state. What we are seeing right now is a group of people who are not from here," Carter said..............."I want to be very, very clear. The people that are doing this are not Minneapolis residents.
