There was all this talk from Trump about his Big Beautiful Bill, and there was good stuff there but there was no provisions to cut spending overall.  We're heading into a vortex of debt closing in on $40 trillion dollars.   What greater threat can the nation existentially face?   The "Republican Senate is a farce, getting little done of consequence.  And to make sure the Republican controlled Senate continues down this glorious path John Thune sent the Senate home for 37 days.   But he also wanted to make sure Trump couldn't do anything either by scheduling '11 Pro Forma Sessions to BLOCK Trump from making recess  appointments".  Appointments that have been stalled for months by Thune catering to the Democrats.   

• John Thune Gave the Double Bird to the GOP Base Saturday Morning - Sen. John Thune and the rest of the panican GOP caucus wanted to go home. They held a really early-morning vote around 5 AM to confirm Todd Blanche as the 88^th attorney general of the United States, but then moved to adjourn. There weren’t enough senators to kill the August recess. Democrats certainly won’t do it, and Thune noted 15 to 20 Republicans who’d rather let Democrats run them over when they retake the chamber at some point, kill the filibuster, and pass their extreme policies as we watch helplessly like infants. Why? Well, that’s what these Republicans do: face an open nuclear reactor and think they’ll be rewarded for their bravery when all they do is end up dead. 

The Senate almost actually did do something but... never fear.... they managed to narrowly avoid doing anything before abandoning the America people.  Good work boys, you can go home "proud"!

And I'm shocked, shocked that John Thune is upset Karoline Leavitt roasted him over his incompetence, as "Fox Business' Larry Kudlow said it perfectly": 

The Senate GOP is bungling everything. At every turn, they crash into a wall. He tore into Sen. Steve Lankford (R-OK), by pretty much saying this caucus has no idea what they're doing. And the fish rots from the head......And now John Thune is getting uppity over being called out by the Trump White House? 

Here’s the thing, John—if you don’t want to get roasted, do your job. It’s not like he’s pushing for a national reciprocity law, which would be full of hurdles. The SAVE America Act has support from 70 percent of Americans, and a slim majority is no excuse: Speaker Mike Johnson has a more unruly group, but he also has a slim majority. He was able to get three bills passed. He also managed to pass 12 appropriations bills this winter, most of which funded the government through this year. The Department of Homeland Security bill, however, caused a headache, with the agency shut down for almost 100 days. Thune opted to work with Democrats on a deal; he believed them—the worst part—and they schooled him.

And it gets worse all the time.  Both he and Tom Cotton are blocking the DOJ from obtaining Brennan transcripts needed by Senate committees who are investigating Brennan's involvement in a deep state "coup to take down President Trump in 2016." Why? Who are they protecting? Nothing Thune does that seems underhanded surprises me, but Cotton has been a traditional conservative in most cases.  As the bard said: "Something is rotten in the state of Denmark."

His unwillingness to get the SAVE act passed, including nuking the Senates filibuster tradition (which is a Senate rule, it's not a Constitutional requirement) there's a view on Thune that's growing daily:  'Do the right thing or resign': Republican congressman torches John Thune for failing to pass SAVE America Act.

There are ZERO good reasons for Thune's failure to put the SAVE America Act on the floor. This is how we get the votes: by debating it!" exclaimed U.S. Rep. Andy Ogles, R-Tenn., on X Monday.  "Thune can either do the right thing or resign."

He says he doesn't have enough votes to pass the SAVE act, but those are backroom votes, if brought to the floor where Senators will have to openly take a position; a position they  have to take back and explain to their constituents, he may find the votes may actually be there.  He's protecting his RINO supporters who are afraid their constituents may do to them what the constituents of Senators Cronym and Tellis did to them: Send them back home where they belong.  

Both Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowsky are a disgrace, as they made it clear they would not vote for Blanch as Attorney General, and Murkowsky tried to sink his confirmation.  Why?  You just can't make this stuff up:

I have had numerous constructive meetings with Mr. Blanche and he comes across as decent and capable. I appreciate the trip he made to learn more about Alaska, including our rural areas, and as Acting Attorney General he has made several noteworthy decisions that will benefit our state and the nation.  Ultimately, however, I will oppose his nomination. The politicization—even weaponization—of the Department did not start with this administration but has accelerated during it. I take issue with the handling of the release of the Epstein files; the sweeping immunity protections granted to the President, his family, and their businesses; the statements that have been made to anti-abortion groups; and the repeated targeting of individuals ranging from former administration staff to sitting U.S. Senators.  

If fear of politicization of the DOJ really is a moral concern for her, then why did she vote to confirm Obama and Biden's choices? Trump's DOJ has gone after people who've actually committed crimes.  She lists "abuses" that Biden's DOJ created, not to mention the fact Biden's DOJ went after Christians who wanted the Latin mass in the Catholic Church and Christians who opposed abortion, who they called domestic terrorists.  And she had no moral qualms then, right along with Susan Collins.  In Collins case as we watch what's going on in Maine over the mid term election it's scary to think she may be the most sane person living in Maine.

The World as I See It: Happiness and The Red Wave, Part II

This has been an interesting pre-election period, and if you have a sense of humor, it's even better.   Let's start out with this piece, The RNC Sues Google, saying:

People in the industry refer to your email list as your “owned audience,” but it turns out you might not own it after all. The companies that run the major email systems tend to be on the left. My own organization moved away from MailChimp on account of apparent political bias that obstructed our ability to send emails, without restriction, to tens of thousands of email subscribers. Now, the Republican National Committee is suing Google, alleging that Gmail is discriminating against Republicans during a crucial fundraising season....

How great is it for the party in power to impose censorship without imposing censorship because their catspaws are doing it for them, and apparently, it's legal since they're not government entities.

But the Democrats are also getting help from others, like Mitch McConnell who pulled PAC ads out of New Hampshire's Don Bolduc's campaign, to the tune of six and a half million dollars on an election that's now a toss up.  And why would he do that?   Well, it appears he doesn't like Bolduc and I'm guessing it's because if Bolduc gets in, he will happily hold the door open if they decide to kick McConnell out of the leadership.   But never fear, Mitch just moved some of that money to another candidate.  He's pumping around nine million in to Lisa Malinowski's campaign against Kelly Tshibka, and I'm guessing for the same reason, and "seven Alaska Republican committees have issued a public rebuke of McConnell’s financial influence behind 21-year incumbent Murkowski", demanding he stop funding anyone except Tshibka.   And where does Murkowski stand?  She pledges to vote for the Democrat running against Sarah Palin.   

Channeling Captain Renault, I'm shocked, shocked I tell you! 

And  imagine this.  The Republicans in Alaska are upset over that, but it seems to be okay with McConnell.  Imagine that.  Perhaps they're thinking it's time to ditch Mitch, who has also reduced funding for Senate candidate Blake Masters in Arizona by around $8 million.

Here's what it comes down to, kicking "McConnell from his leadership position will be a major step in dismantling the self-serving, self-promoting, self-preserving, corrupt, and nepotistic confederacy that is D.C. Democrat Establishment."  

Of course only Senators can vote on this, but whether these people are going to the Senate or the House it seems to me if there are enough anti-McConnell voices in the Congress they'll create a herd mentality and channel Oliver Cromwell.  

As for retired general Don Bolduc.  He is running for the Senate, and he says even without McConnell's help, he has momentum, and if that momentum seats him in the Senate, you can pretty much guess his vote.

So, since polls are now showing seemingly sure Democrat victories are being termed toss up, one has to ask, Is the Red Wave Back?  It seems to me, precluding massive voter fraud as occurred in the 2020 election, which I've tracked and serialized, the Republicans will not only take the House, but the Senate and in far bigger numbers than previously thought.  When you see New York City going for the Republican Senate candidate, you can understand one thing.  Americans are really not happy! And when places like Greenwich Village start objecting to the outcome of leftist policies, you know the rest of America is "really" unhappy, and that unhappiness is spreading to all factions of American society.

What tact are Republican candidates taking?

 

Leora Levy running against Richard Blumenthal, states,  Richard Blumenthal is a career politician, I’m a ‘career American", and that's resonating, especially since he's lied about his military service, he's been called a communist, for good reason, and Dan Mitchell called him the most reprehensible politician of the year, who in 2021 doesn't think a national debt of 28.4 trillion is too much.  

 

Apparently he doesn't think a national debt of 31 trillion is too much either, and as far as I can tell, he sees no amount as too much.  How can anyone that insane be elected over and over again?  Oh, I know.  It's Connecticut!  So, what's wrong with the people of Connecticut?  I guess the same thing that's wrong with the people of Delaware. 

Then we have Herschel Walker, who is claiming he'll be a ‘warrior in Washington’, and no matter how much mud the Democrats are slinging on him, it's not sticking, while the facts of his opponents ill dealings are sticking.   But this isa honey pot of voter fraud.  So, we'll see. 

 

But I think it would be a good thing if everyone clearly understood: The world is watching whether of not this midterm is a harbinger of America once again embracing the traditional values of an American society wrapped in the American Constitution, or a nation bordering on the edge of collapse being controlled by leftists who hate America and are doing all they can to destroy the only thing that stands between freedom and worldwide tyranny. Because without America, there is no free world.

 

Murkowski: 'The Evidence That Has Been Presented Thus Far Is Pretty Damning'

 Watching videotapes of a mob storming the U.S. Capitol made Sen. Murkowski "angry," "disturbed" and "sad," she told reporters at the Capitol on Wednesday.

Asked if the attack was "completely Donald Trump's doing," Murkowski said, "I think that -- that the House managers are making a very strong case for a timeline that laid out very clearly -- with the words that were used, when he used them, how he used them -- to really build the -- the anger, the violence that we saw here in this Capitol.".........To Read More.....

Impeachment: Big Ego's, Bad Attitudes

It's so clearly obvious there's no criminal activity by the President of the United States.  Every accusation the Democrat party has thrown up has not only been debunked by their own investigations, it's actually come back to bite them on the can.

It's easy to understand the stupidity of the Democrats because they're afraid of the far left wing lunatics running the party.  They're afraid of the far left wing lunatics in the Congress like Ocasio-Cortez and her moron mob.

Robert Ringer, in January of this year, almost a year ago, notes:

First, absurd as it may sound to an intelligent, rational person, AOC’s lack of knowledge is actually an advantage when it comes to appealing to the Moron Mob.  These intellectually challenged bobbleheads comprise a huge segment of the population — from the guy in the street to Jim Carrey … from social activists to LeBron James … from college-campus snowflakes to media propagandists like Don Lemon — that has been growing at an accelerating pace ever since the Dirty Dems took off their masks a few years back and openly declared war on America. 

What’s scary is how easy it is for race hustlers and hate mongers to appeal to the Moron Mob.  One need only offer them free stuff — the more, the better — and they quickly morph into modern-day Jacobins shouting “off with their heads.”  Let’s face it, everyone likes free stuff — even me! — but rational, intelligent people of goodwill realize that “free” is nothing more than an illusion and that the true cost of so-called free stuff is a loss of freedom. 

Second, when bold, charismatic accidents of history like AOC are cheered on by the media, they inevitably become enamored with themselves and start believing their own gibberish. This misguided belief often evolves into a sadistic ruthlessness toward others. History is filled with examples of young people who were not taken seriously when they first came on the scene, yet went on to establish brutal dictatorships.

John Sobieski ran a piece entitled, "Murkowski is 'Disturbed,' All Right" saying the Senator is:

"disturbed by Sen. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's statement he will be working closely with and taking his clues from President Trump in any impeachment trial in the Senate".

Amazing! She wasn't disturbed by all the manufactured testimony and corruption exhibited by Chairmen Schiff and Nadler. She apparently wasn't disturbed by the fact there has been no real evidence against Trump. She apparently wasn't disturbed by the evidence of the total corruption of the FBI, CIA and the DOJ by Obama. Apparently she wasn't disturbed by all the forged documents and failure of Democrats to turn over exculpatory evidence to the Republicans on the appropriate committees.

But she is disturbed by "McConnell objecting to and refusing to participate in this charade", because she wants a "full and fair process". What's "full and fair"mean? It means the Senate has to do what the House Democrats tell them to do. And that doesn't disturb her?

She wasn't disturbed by the Star Chamber process conducted, probably illegally, by Adam Schiff. She wasn't disturbed by hearsay witnesses.

What should disturb everyone else is her utter lack of consistency, and her utter lack of the Constitutional understanding. The Constitution gives the Senate total control over how any impeachment process is handled. What should disturb everyone is her failure to understand the President of the United States cannot be charged with "obstruction of Congress", one of the articles of impeachment.

It's called separation of powers and the Constitution gives the Executive broad powers to challenge Congress, but it didn't disturb her or the Democrats when Obama actually did abuse those powers.

There are a lot of things in her history that should have legitimately disturbed her, yet she remained silent. Now, it appears after:

 "Bill Kistol of the now defunct Weekly Standard and his group, Republicans for the Rule of Law, targeted Murkowski with a million dollar ad buy to persuade her and other wavering GOP Senatore to turn on Trump."......wanting her to criticize President Donald Trump for asking Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden...."

She's seems disturbed by a lot of things, but fails to be disturbed by slander, lies and the utter corruption of the Congress by House Democrats. Let's face it, Murkowski has never been a profile in courage, not uncommon for a politician.

But one thing this impeachment process has made abundantly clear, she's disturbed.

After 2022 she may be a whole lot more disturbed.

One more thing.  Think Third Party, filled with RINO's and "disturbed" Democrats with no hope to be re-elected in their districts, and nowhere else do go.
