Garbage In, Garbage Out: 96% of NOAA Temperature Stations Fail ‘Uncorrupted Placement’ Standards

A study that investigated the placement of National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) temperature stations found that 96 percent of the facilities used to measure heat failed to meet the agency’s own “uncorrupted placement” standards. 

Research for the study shows the 96 percent corruption is because the stations’ measurements are tainted by the effects of urbanization – or heat produced because of their close proximity to asphalt, machinery, and other heat-producing, heat-trapping, or heat-accentuating objects. 

The Heartland Institute compiled the report using satellite and in-person surveys of NOAA weather stations that contribute to the “official” land temperatures in the United States. “With a 96 percent warm-bias in U.S. temperature measurements, it is impossible to use any statistical methods to derive an accurate climate trend for the U.S.” 

Heartland Institute Senior Fellow Anthony Watts, who directed the study, said is the study announcement distributed to the press. “Data from the stations that have not been corrupted by faulty placement show a rate of warming in the United States reduced by almost half compared to all stations.”............. Mitt started out his missive with a little criticism of our crop management practices.

Even as we watch the reservoirs and lakes of the West go dry, we keep watering our lawns, soaking our golf courses, and growing water-thirsty crops.

We're told by the Left that we can't have meat because it's mean-spirited.  Little did we understand that we're also supposed to feel guilty about growing water-thirsty crops — which would be all crops.  So meat and plants are out as food.  What does Senator Delecto recommend that we feed the masses with?  Soylent Green?  Will they be serving that in the French Laundry, too?  Is processed human remains best with red or white wine?

Military doctor: Defense medical database totally corrupted as vax injuries scrubbed

Military physicians who were alarmed by the recent documentation of a 300% increase in cancer cases diagnosed among service members, as well as surges in miscarriages, myocarditis, Bell's palsy and more, say now that the military's medical database has been corrupted and no longer can be trusted.

Just the News earlier documented that three doctors warned the medical billing code data captured by the Defense Medical Epidemiology Database revealed sharp spikes in various health issues among the adverse effects from COVID shots.

Miscarriages, for example, exploded from 1,499 the previous year to 4,182 in the recent reporting period.

Massachusetts Health Department Admits They Went Overboard in Counting COVID Death

We all knew this was going to happen. The COVID death count was going to be revised. There were too many. The metric was too broad. The same goes for hospitalizations. During Omicron, how many children were hospitalized for other more serious health matters but also happen to test positive for COVID upon admission? COVID doesn't really impact young kids. We've known this since the beginning, and by this standard a trip to the hospital for a broken arm was used to pad the numbers for child COVID hospitalizations. It's all about keeping the panic going for Democrats and the news media. 

Then, something happened, even the most ardent liberals started to get tired of masks, the mandates, and everything about COVID because it's not an apocalyptic pathogen. Over 99 percent of those infected survived. 

We've noted this for weeks: the political science changed. COVID is over. The trackers are gone from the CNN screens. No one cares. As everyone is distracted by the Ukraine war, officials are now combing through the death tolls and finding significant over counts. When will the CDC correct its COVID death counts, as Italy just did?

The Summit caught a fascinating story out of Italy: The Italian Higher Institute of Health decided it had miscounted COVID deaths. Instead of looking at people who died with COVID, as it once did, it looked only at people who died from COVID—leading to a 97% decrease in Italy’s COVID death count. So far, though, the CDC shows no signs of following suit.

According to The Summit:

The Italian Higher Institute of Health has drastically reduced the country’s official COVID death toll number by over 97 per cent after changing the definition of a fatality to someone who died from COVID rather than with COVID.

Italian newspaper Il Tempo reports that the Institute has revised downward the number of people who have died from COVID rather than with COVID from 130,000 to under 4,000.

“Yes, you read that right. Turns out 97.1% of deaths hitherto attributed to Covid were not due directly to Covid,” writes Toby Young.

Of the of the 130,468 deaths registered as official COVID deaths since the start of the pandemic, only 3,783 are directly attributable to the virus alone.

“All the other Italians who lost their lives had from between one and five pre-existing diseases. Of those aged over 67 who died, 7% had more than three co-morbidities, and 18% at least two,” writes Young.

“According to the Institute, 65.8% of Italians who died after being infected with Covid were ill with arterial hypertension (high blood pressure), 23.5% had dementia, 29.3% had diabetes, and 24.8% atrial fibrillation. Add to that, 17.4% had lung problems, 16.3% had had cancer in the last five years and 15.7% suffered from previous heart failures.”

The COVID Survey That Should Have Rocked the World

In March 2021, a year into the Covid-19 pandemic, the New York Times shared the results of a comprehensive survey of 35,000 Americans done by Gallup and Franklin Templeton. True to form, the Times refused to face the survey’s epic implications.

The Times started pulling punches in the headline, “Covid’s Partisan Errors: Republicans tend to underestimate Covid risks — and Democrats tend to exaggerate them.” This equivocation papered over the real news hook of the story, namely that health officials and their media enablers scared policy makers, especially in blue states, into making catastrophic, fear-based misjudgments.

“To many liberals, Covid has become another example of the modern Republican Party’s hostility to facts and evidence,” wrote reporter David Leonhardt, unaware that he just delivered a laugh line. From the beginning of the series of events branded as a global health emergency, many people have smelled a rat.
