Well, Kimmel's Back! Imagine That!

By Rich Kozlovich

It turns out Disney has the courage of their convictions.... they have none.  After six whole days their resolve crumbled.  Kimmel's viewership was dying, he's sworn to double down on his attacks on Kirk and company, and because all these leftists are demanding their myrmidons cancel their Disney subscriptions, along with making outrageous claims justifying Kirk's murder, of which Kimmel publicly lied about, ABC and Disney have decided he's going back on the air, and he will continue to lose viewership and money for ABC and Disney.  Now... who could possibly find fault with that kind of logic?

Today the I & I Editorial Board published this article, Disney Caves, Nobody Wins, quoting Mark Ruffalo discussing Disney's stock price dropping since the suspended Kimmel saying, “It’s going to go down a lot further if they cancel his show. Disney does not want to be the ones that broke America.”

But the fact is Disney's stock only went down 3% since they kicked Kimmel to the curb, but it "plunged" by 38% when they "decided to step into the political swamp in early 2022 and attack a Florida bill that banned schools from teaching children up to the third grade about transgenderism – a bill Disney vilified as:

“Don’t say gay.”'........ “I want to be crystal clear: I and the entire leadership team unequivocally stand in support of our LGBTQ+ employees, their families, and their communities. Bravo!”

In short, Disney is in serious trouble because of their far left positions and listening to members of the  like Ruffalo.   But this must have really been the straw that broke Disney's back, Howard Stern cancelled Disney+ to show his support Jimmy Kimmel.

Wow!  That must have really hurt?  Right?  Well, I really find that interesting since very soon his views will no longer befoul the airways as his listening audience has almost totally collapsed and he will be gone soon.  Does anyone really believe that will hurt American democracy?

The only reason anyone knew anything about Jimmy Kimmel is that the liberal media would traffic his rantings to their audiences. He hasn’t been funny in decades, if he ever was. His show had been getting ratings that were lower than Keith Olbermann’s 14 years ago.........As long as Disney puts politics over entertainment, the poisoning of America’s culture will continue.

Lower than Kieth Olbermanns?  How bad can someone be if their ratings are worse the Olbermann's, who was one of the most arrogant insufferable ego maniacs to ever befoul the airways?  Here's his latest disgusting bits:

  1. Keith Olbermann After Jimmy Kimmel Suspension: ‘Burn in Hell, Sinclair. Alongside Charlie Kirk’
  2. Keith Olbermann Threatens CNN Analyst Scott Jennings: ‘You’re Next Mo.......ker’.
How can anyone be that vile and not be considered certifiable?  In some states a threat like this is considered criminal, and Scott Jennings should pursue that.
  • Disney Caves: Kimmel Coming Back - “Last Wednesday, we made the decision to suspend production on the show to avoid further inflaming a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country,” Disney said in a statement. “It is a decision we made because we felt some of the comments were ill-timed and thus insensitive. We have spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after those conversations, we reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday.”

Ill timed and and insensitive comments?  Really? So that's what they're calling lying now?

  •  ABC Caves: Jimmy Kimmel to Return After Mere Six-Day Suspension Amid Charlie Kirk Assassination Outrage - The man arrested for the assassination, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, has been described by family as a leftist who was living with his transgender boyfriend. Kimmel wasted no time exploiting the national mourning for political points. On September 15, during his monologue, Kimmel lied to tie the suspected killer to the MAGA movement. The backlash was swift and intense, with FCC Chairman Brendan Carr stepping in to pressure ABC to take action against the host’s false claims..........

Not everyone is buying into this insanity, Sinclair Stations Still Won't Air Jimmy Kimmel after his suspension, late-night show stays off in 30 major markets.  Their view is:

His comments were "inappropriate and deeply insensitive," and called for formal talks about professionalism with ABC before the show might return. Sinclair also demanded Kimmel directly apologize to the Kirk family and make a donation to Kirk's nonprofit, Turning Point USA.

Well, none of that's going to happen.  He's made it clear he won't apologize, and he most certainly won't be making a donation to Turning Point USA, insisting he will continue down the same road he's been traveling, and ABC will not negotiate over their lack of professionalism.  So those stations won't be carrying his show, and that means even less revenue.  In this case a lot less revenue for ABC/Disney, and since his contract is up soon, he'll be gone and ABC/Disney will be right back where they are now.

I'm betting before this year is out Disney's stock will drop a whole lot more than 3% and their viewership will continue to collapse, since most of America isn't part of the Nitwit Brigade.   If ABC and Disney are still in business by this time next year I'll be surprised, and if they are, it will be under entirely new leadership.

Nolte: 6 Biggest Disasters Hitting Woke Walt Disney

John Nolte 5 Sep 2023

The news that Disney’s stock price target has just been downgraded to a still optimistic $110 offers a perfect jumping-off point to look at why. Disney was once one of the most bulletproof brands on the planet. For almost a hundred years, Disney meant magic, family, innocence, fun, and fairy tales. But thanks to the corporation’s current obsession with identity politics and sexual perversion, the brand is not only tarnished, these dual obsessions have sucked all the creative spirit and energy out of a company that once seemed infallible.

Rather than delighting children, Disney is focused on destroying their innocence with transvestites, transsexuals, homosexuality, and drag queens. Rather than great storytelling, Disney is focused on lecturing, scolding, and dividing. Rather than creating iconic characters, Disney is focused on destroying our heroes and replacing them with dull, strident, sexless, unappealing girlbosses.

The results for Disney have been catastrophic and well-deserved. The stock, the brand, the movies, the streaming service, and the theme parks are all in the toilet or headed there.

We are watching in real-time as evil gets what it deserves.

Republican Rep. Mike Gallagher Blasts NBA, Disney for ‘Bending the Knee’ to Communist China

Nicole Silverio

Republican Wisconsin Rep. Mike Gallagher criticized Disney and the NBA on Wednesday for “bending the knee” to China. On Tuesday, Gallagher became the chairman of the House’s newly established select committee to investigate the economic and technological challenges posed by China. He told radio host Hugh Hewitt that the NBA and Disney will have to testify before the committee since its ties to China are upsetting to the American people.

“Consider this me giving them the initial warning order that they’ll have to testify before the committee,” he said. “You know, I’d be even willing to go out, when it comes to Hollywood or Disney, I’d be willing to go out and sit down with them where they are, you know, engage with them in a discussion. But we want to have a discussion in front of the American people. I think it drives the American people crazy when they see the NBA bending the knee to Xi Jinping. It really drives them crazy, and also, the bigger concern is that it gives us a preview of what’s going to happen to the rest of our domestic industries if we allow the Chinese Communist Party to control the commanding heights of technology and the economy.”...........To Read More.....

Confessions of a Disney writer

April 18, 2022 By Stella Paul

For many years, I made my living writing TV shows for Disney.  I was proud of my work, considering it a privilege to make kids laugh all over the world.  But in light of Disney's disastrous embrace of pro-pedophilia policies, I'm glad that I grew disillusioned with kids' TV and walked away from the field.

Every kids' TV writer knows that when crafting a story, you have to be careful about "modeling behavior."  Whatever kids see, they imitate, so you should "model" positive traits in your scripts, particularly when writing for pre-schoolers.  Imagine inserting a pint-size Larry David character in your story who is obnoxious, argumentative, and sneaky.  Inevitably, you'd get back notes from the story editor telling you to revamp the script to avoid modeling negative behavior.

So Disney's recent commitment to "add queerness" wherever possible can't be explained as just trying to teach tolerance and inclusivity.  The executives know that by showing "queerness," they are modeling queerness and encouraging kids to imitate that behavior.

In fact, Disney has had issues with sexualizing children for a long time.  Cole Sprouse, a former Disney Channel star, recently noted that he and his co-star brother both suffered trauma from their acting career.  He added, "The young women on [Disney Channel] were so heavily sexualized from an earlier age than my brother and I that there's absolutely no way we could compare our experiences."

You only need to witness the spectacular flameouts of Disney child stars Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan to wonder what traumas changed them from adorable ingenues into hypersexual vixens.  Tracking the endless legal troubles, destructive addictions, and mental breakdowns of former Disney stars has become almost a parlor game, as in this depressing article, "20 Child Stars Ruined By Disney."  What on Earth happened to those beautiful kids that destroyed their sanity?..............To Read More.....

How the Schools Got Queered

Years back, when I lived in Northern California, a huge controversy erupted in a town called Novato about implementing a pro-LGB curriculum and movie called That's a Family in the elementary schools.  Parents were outraged, including liberals, and it made national news for months. California was the epicenter for gay education/indoctrination in the schools, and I was fully enmeshed in these issues, with kids in public and private schools in Marin and San Francisco.  The school my kids attended at the time was grappling with the same That's a Family brouhaha.  I led the opposition, with tremendous support from mostly liberal parents, including one LGB parent, who said: "At this age, all my child wants to do is play, be with friends, and is not thinking about these issues.  It's just not age-appropriate."  How did we get from there to Disney opposing Gov. DeSantis's Parental Rights in Education bill and bragging about outwardly "queering" entertainment for our kids?  ..........To Read More.....

There is an explanation for Disney's war on children

Very often, when companies go woke, it turns out that the wokeness is a cover for changing market forces.  That is, they're not alienating traditional demographics; they're reflecting that their money is coming from new demographics.  When it comes to Hollywood and the NBA, for example, the big bucks are coming from China, not America.  And when it comes to Disney, the main profit center isn't children; it's young adults who, Peter Pan–like, refuse to grow up.

The brilliant Daniel Greenfield makes this point in an article entitled "Disney's Business Model is Turning Kids into Dysfunctional Adults: Its customer base isn't kids. It's messed up adults."  Greenfield, as always, has done the research, and, in the case of Disney, he points to the fact that Disney's most fanatic consumers are in the over 18 demographic:..........To Read More....

Race-Crazed Disney Backs Down

Resisting woke corporations works

A humiliated Walt Disney Corporation scrubbed its bizarre critical race theory-based employee indoctrination materials from the Internet after a think tank scholar exposed them.

Christopher F. Rufo, a senior fellow and director of an initiative on critical race theory at the Manhattan Institute, celebrated Disney’s conspicuous retreat from the Left’s rarefied anti-white anti-Americanism, the New York Post reported May 13. Rufo defines critical race theory as “racialized Marxism.”

Disney “has removed its entire antiracism program from the company’s internal portal,” he said, “effectively scrubbing it out of existence.

“Disney was peddling the most toxic elements of critical race theory”

“This is a major victory in the war against ‘woke capital,’” he said, noting a “significant backlash from the public” after his initial report.

“Disney was peddling the most toxic elements of critical race theory — and my reporting led to immediate changes within the company,” Rufo said.

The environment at Disney has become increasingly politicized in recent months, Rufo reported employees telling him. The account appeared in a City Journal article he penned, titled, “The Wokest Place on Earth.”

There are “almost daily memos, suggested readings, panels, and seminars that [are] all centered around antiracism,” one said. Disney is “completely ideologically one-sided” and discourages conservative and Christian employees from expressing their views.

“I attended several [training sessions] at the beginning just to see what the temperature of the discussion would be and to gauge if I would be able to bring up my own objections in a safe way—safe meaning for my career. And I’ve continually gotten the unspoken answer: ‘no,’” an employee told Rufo.

“It’s been very stifling to feel like everyone keeps talking about having open dialogue and compassionate conversations, but when it comes down to it, I know if I said one thing that was truthful, based on data, or even just based on my own personal experience, it would actually be rather unwelcomed.”

“Despite these internal warnings, there is no sign that Disney is slowing down its efforts to achieve ideological purity,” he wrote.

Walt Disney Corp. terrorizes its employees, intimidating them into unquestioning acceptance of the most orthodox dictates of critical race theory

“The company recently fired actress Gina Carano for expressing a conservative point of view. Content managers have modified and added ‘content advisories’ to films such as Dumbo, Aladdin, and Fantasia, which, according to an internal video that I have obtained, executives have denounced as ‘racist content.’ In the same video, Executive Chairman Bob Iger pledged that the company ‘should be taking a stand’ on political controversies and no longer ‘shy away from politics’ in the future.”

“Disney is playing with fire. The premise of the company has always been to provide an escape for middle Americans, but Disney’s executives seem to have growing contempt for the very people who visit their amusement parks, watch their films, and buy their merchandise.”

And what did Rufo discover in the Disney document dump?

Rufo found that Walt Disney Corp., which touts its amusement parks as “the happiest place on Earth,” terrorizes its employees, intimidating them into unquestioning acceptance of the most orthodox dictates of critical race theory.

Over the past year its corporate leaders have transformed critical race theory into corporate dogma, besieging hapless workers with trainings on “systemic racism,” “white privilege,” and “white fragility,” while creating racially-segregated “affinity groups” at the head office.

Rufo obtained what he called “a trove of whistleblower documents related to Disney’s ‘diversity and inclusion’ program, called ‘Reimagine Tomorrow,’ which paints a disturbing picture of the company’s embrace of racial politics.”

Disney attempts to indoctrinate its employees through a series of training modules dealing with “antiracism”

Disney attempts to indoctrinate its employees through a series of training modules dealing with “antiracism.”

In one the company directs employees to “take ownership of educating [themselves] about structural anti-Black racism.” Instead of relying on black colleagues to enlighten them, they need to take the initiative because it is “emotionally taxing” for blacks to have explain themselves.

The United States, according to the paper, has a “long history of systemic racism and transphobia” and white employees have to “work through feelings of guilt, shame, and defensiveness to understand what is beneath them and what needs to be healed.”

Employees can become good “allies” by “challeng[ing] colorblind ideologies and rhetoric” such as “All Lives Matter” and “I don’t see color.” The latter two phrases are “harmful and hurtful, as it is a form of erasing the real and specific ways racial identities affect lived experiences.” Employees must also “listen with empathy [to] Black colleagues” and must “not question or debate Black colleagues’ lived experience.”

And woe to the Disney employee not up to speed on every aspect of intersectionality.

“Consider the ways multiple dimensions of identity (e.g. race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, socio-economic, veterans) can make people vulnerable to interlocking forms of bias or systems of exclusion,” the document states. “For example, Black transgender and gender non-conforming people face one of the highest levels of discrimination.”

Just because you have black friends and colleagues or are yourself a minority doesn’t mean you’re not oppressing blacks:

“21-Day Racial Equity and Social Justice Challenge”

“Reflect on the diversity of your personal and professional networks and how racial and other dimensions of your identity give (or do not give) you access and advantage. Proximity to Black people or being part of a marginalized group does not mean you cannot harbor bias.”

Employees should “[c]ontribute to the Black community by consistently supporting Black/ African American-owned businesses and/or volunteering for organizations that advance racial equity and justice.”

Employees should also snitch on other employees if they see “problematic posts” on “company approved social channels,” a Disney document states.

In another module Disney instructs employees to reject “equality,” with its focus on “equal treatment and access to opportunities,” and instead aim for “equity,” with a focus on “the equality of outcome.” Workers have to “reflect” on America’s “racist infrastructure” and “think carefully about whether or not your wealth, income, treatment by the criminal justice system, employment, access to housing, health care, political power, and education might be different if you were of a different race.”

Disney partnered with the YWCA to create something called the “21-Day Racial Equity and Social Justice Challenge.” Participants are required to affirm that they have all “been raised in a society that elevates white culture over others.” They complete a white privilege “checklist,” which includes check-off options such as: “I am white,” I am heterosexual,” “I am a man,” “I still identity as the gender I was born in,” “I have never been raped,” “I don’t rely on public transportation,” and “I have never been called a terrorist.”

Abandoning their ongoing infantilization of blacks and brainwashing of American society

Participants learn about “white fragility,” and are made to believe that treating people of different races the same is proof they have somehow internalized their racism and white fragility. They are informed they must figure out how to “pivot” from “white dominant culture” to “something different.” Values that “perpetuate white supremacy culture,” such as “competition,” “individualism,” and “timeliness” must be rejected, they are told.

Disney also urges employees to read how-to guides including “75 Things White People Can Do for Racial Justice” and “Your Kids Are Not Too Young to Talk About Race.” White employees learn they must “defund the police,” “participate in reparations,” “decolonize your bookshelf,” “don’t gentrify neighborhoods,” and “donate to anti-white supremacy work such as your local Black Lives Matter Chapter.” Parents are encouraged to commit to “raising race-consciousness in children” and contends that “even babies discriminate” against members of other races.

It’s hard to believe America has gotten so screwed up that people anywhere take diversity and inclusion scams seriously, and that they are willing to put up with the kind of woke bullying that Disney forces on its employees.

Although there is little evidence that the hipster-fascists of the woke corporate world are mending their ways and abandoning their ongoing infantilization of blacks and brainwashing of American society, it is good to know at least that they can be embarrassed and beaten back.

The Wokest Place on Earth

Disney mounts an internal campaign against “white privilege” and organizes racially segregated “affinity groups.”

Christopher F. Rufo May 7, 2021 @ City JournalPublished with permission.  I recommend subscribing, it's free.

The Walt Disney Corporation famously bills its amusement parks as “the happiest place on Earth,” but inside the company’s headquarters in Burbank, California, a conflict is brewing. In the past year, Disney executives have elevated the ideology of critical race theory into a new corporate dogma, bombarded employees with trainings on “systemic racism,” “white privilege,” “white fragility,” and “white saviors,” and launched racially segregated “affinity groups” at the company’s headquarters.

I have obtained a trove of whistleblower documents related to Disney’s “diversity and inclusion” program, called “Reimagine Tomorrow,” which paints a disturbing picture of the company’s embrace of racial politics. Multiple Disney employees, who requested anonymity out of fear of reprisals, told me that the Reimagine Tomorrow program, though perhaps noble in intent, has become deeply politicized and engulfed parts of the company in racial conflict.

The core of Disney’s racial program is a series of training modules on “antiracism.” In one, called “Allyship for Race Consciousness,” the company tells employees that they must “take ownership of educating [themselves] about structural anti-Black racism” and that they should “not rely on [their] Black colleagues to educate [them],” because it is “emotionally taxing.” The United States, the document claims, has a “long history of systemic racism and transphobia,” and white employees, in particular, must “work through feelings of guilt, shame, and defensiveness to understand what is beneath them and what needs to be healed.” Disney recommends that employees atone by “challeng[ing] colorblind ideologies and rhetoric” such as “All Lives Matter” and “I don’t see color”; they must “listen with empathy [to] Black colleagues” and must “not question or debate Black colleagues’ lived experience.”

In another module, called “What Can I Do About Racism?,” Disney tells employees that they should reject “equality,” with a focus on “equal treatment and access to opportunities,” and instead strive for “equity,” with a focus on “the equality of outcome.” The training also includes a series of lessons on “implicit biases,” “microaggressions,” and “becoming an antiracist.” The company tells employees that they must “reflect” on America’s “racist infrastructure” and “think carefully about whether or not your wealth, income, treatment by the criminal justice system, employment, access to housing, health care, political power, and education might be different if you were of a different race.”

In order to put these ideas into action, Disney sponsored the creation of the “21-Day Racial Equity and Social Justice Challenge” in partnership with the YWCA and included the program in its recommended resources for employees. The challenge begins with information on “systemic racism” and asks participants to accept that they have “all been raised in a society that elevates white culture over others.” Participants then learn about their “white privilege” and are asked to fill out a white privilege “checklist,” with options including: “I am white,” I am heterosexual,” “I am a man,” “I still identity as the gender I was born in,” “I have never been raped,” “I don’t rely on public transportation,” and “I have never been called a terrorist.”

Next, participants learn about “white fragility” and are asked to complete an exercise called “How to Tell If You Have White Fragility.” The program interprets beliefs such as “I am a good person, I can’t be racist” and “I was taught to treat everyone the same” as evidence of the participant’s internalized racism and white fragility. Finally, at the conclusion of the 21-day challenge, participants are told that they must learn how to “pivot” from “white dominant culture” to “something different.” The document claims that “competition,” power hoarding,” “comfort with predominantly white leadership,” “individualism,” “timeliness,” and “comprehensiveness” are “white dominant” values that “perpetuate white supremacy culture”—and must be rejected.

In the same collection of resources, Disney also recommends that employees read a series of how-to guides, including “75 Things White People Can Do for Racial Justice” and “Your Kids Are Not Too Young to Talk About Race.” The first article suggests that white employees should “defund the police,” “participate in reparations,” “decolonize your bookshelf,” “don’t gentrify neighborhoods,” “find and join a local ‘white space,’” and “donate to anti-white supremacy work such as your local Black Lives Matter Chapter.” The second article encourages parents to commit to “raising race-consciousness in children” and argues that “even babies discriminate” against members of other races. A graphic claims that babies show the first signs of racism at three months old, and that white children become “strongly biased in favor whiteness” by age four.

Finally, as part of an initiative labeled “CEO sponsored priorities,” Disney has launched racially segregated “affinity groups” for minority employees, with the goal of achieving “culturally-authentic insights.” In the original launch, the Latino affinity group was called “Hola,” the Asian affinity group was called “Compass,” and the black affinity group was called “Wakanda.” The racial affinity groups, also called Business Employee Resource Groups (BERGs), are technically open to all employees but in practice have become almost entirely segregated by race, with the occasional exception for white “executive champions” who attend on behalf of corporate leadership. “The thing that this company does very well is they know politics, so they leave many things unspoken,” said one employee, a racial minority, who also claimed the affinity groups are intended to be racially segregated spaces. “I don’t think anyone has necessarily even tried to attend something that they would discover that they’re not welcome at.”

Multiple Disney employees told me the political environment at the company has intensified in recent months. There are “almost daily memos, suggested readings, panels, and seminars that [are] all centered around antiracism,” said one employee. The company is “completely ideologically one-sided” and actively discourages conservative and Christian employees from expressing their views. “I attended several [training sessions] at the beginning just to see what the temperature of the discussion would be and to gauge if I would be able to bring up my own objections in a safe way—safe meaning for my career. And I’ve continually gotten the unspoken answer: ‘no,’” said the employee. “It’s been very stifling to feel like everyone keeps talking about having open dialogue and compassionate conversations, but when it comes down to it, I know if I said one thing that was truthful, based on data, or even just based on my own personal experience, it would actually be rather unwelcomed.”

Despite these internal warnings, there is no sign that Disney is slowing down its efforts to achieve ideological purity. The company recently fired actress Gina Carano for expressing a conservative viewpoint. Content managers have modified and added “content advisories” to films such as Dumbo, Aladdin, and Fantasia, which, according to an internal video I have obtained, executives have denounced as “racist content.” In the same video, executive chairman Bob Iger pledged that the company “should be taking a stand” on political controversies and will no longer “shy away from politics” in the future.

Disney’s premise has always been to provide an escape for middle Americans, but its executives seem to harbor growing contempt for the very people who visit their amusement parks, watch their films, and buy their merchandise. Once known as the “Happiest Place on Earth,” Disney has now committed to becoming the “wokest place on Earth”—whatever the cost.

Canceling Gina Carano: Work Worthy of an Evil Empire

By Christopher Knight

Lucasfilm’s firing of Gina Carano may go down as one of the more 'textbook' examples of public relations blunders.  This past week the studio and its umbrella company Disney detached from Carano, following the latest in a series of social media posts which betrayed the political incorrectness of the former MMA fighter.

Carano – who had been portraying rebel-turned-mercenary Cara Dune on the hit Disney+ Star Wars series The Mandalorian – had shared the following on her Instagram account:
Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors…even by children. Because history is edited, most people today don’t realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different from hating someone for their political views?
Do note that at no point does Miss Carano refer to Republicans, conservatives, or any other specific ideology.  She merely made an observation about history: something often rhyming like poetry, as George Lucas himself noted............. To Read More.....

Kevin Sorbo Highlights Disney Hypocrisy: Ignored Producer’s ‘MAGA Kids into the Woodchipper’ Post

Alana Mastrangelo 14 Feb 2021 755

Actor Kevin Sorbo blasted Hollywood’s treatment of Gina Carano Saturday, highlighting a producer who has worked with Disney and received no rebuke from the company when he fantasized about “MAGA kids” going “into the woodchipper.”  “Just so we’re all clear, he still has his job at Disney,” Sorbo wrote on social media, sharing a screenshot of the infamous post from film producer Jack Morrissey.  Morrissey — whose producer credits include Disney’s live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast — had tweeted, “#MAGAkids go screaming, hats first, into the woodchipper,” alongside a violent image in reaction to the Covington Catholic High School incident in January 2019............To Read More.....

The persecution of Gina Carano

Her sacking perfectly illustrates the hypocrisy and intolerance of the woke elites.

Brendan O'Neill Editor 12th February 2021

The persecution of Gina Carano

It’s official: only liberals are allowed to talk shit about the Holocaust. That’s the take-home message of the Gina Carano scandal. For here we have a right-wing woman being shamed and sacked for doing what luvvies and leftish types have been doing for years: comparing the early 21st century to Nazi Germany.

The double standards are mind-blowing. Carano has been dumped by Disney, from her starring role in the Star Wars spin-off The Mandalorian, for suggesting that the political hatreds of the 2020s echo the nastiness of the Holocaust era. In an ill-advised Instagram story, she compared the flak that right-wingers like her get with the contempt visited upon Jews in 1930s Germany. ‘Hating someone for their political views’ is not that different to when the Nazis turned on Jewish people, she said..........To Read More....

Disney’s Lucasfilm fired conservative actress Gina Carano

Gina Carano, one of the stars of Disney’s popular The Mandalorian hasn’t been shy about her conservative politics. Many (myself included) believe that’s why Disney’s Lucasfilm fired her – although Lucasfilm falsely insinuating that she was fired for being anti-Semitic.

Back in August, Gina Carano, who once was an MMA fighter (which may explain her courage), stood against the woke BLM mob trying to get all Americans to bow before it. She did that by retweeting the famous photo of August Landmesser, who, in 1936, was the only man in a mob of Nazis refusing to give the Nazi salute:...........To Read More....

Disney, China, & the Ruling Class vs. America

Our elite power brokers have chosen the CCP over us.

09.08.2020

If you’re willing to shell out 30 bucks at the behest of your kids, you can stream Disney’s remake of Mulan, its military fantasy based on a Chinese folk legend. But don’t make the mistake of thinking that it might offer a few hours of entertainment in which you can avoid dwelling on America’s current political crisis. These days, even Disney movies reveal the deepening divide between Americans that threatens to tear our country apart.

Disney has spent years affixing content warnings to old material, revising and remaking it to conform with contemporary racial and gender standards. Mulan seems like a perfect fit for this project—the headstrong young heroine who defies “traditional gender roles” to fight for her country (while wearing a binder, no less).

Except that the new version of the film, if you follow its logic, is so nakedly imperialist it would have made Napoleon blush. The behemoth military complex of the Chinese state is leveraged en masse to defeat an uprising of nomadic tribes whose territory was stolen a generation ago by the current emperor, now an old warlord who demands tribute in blood and treasure from the several diverse regions of his sprawling fiefdom. The independent nomadic powers are crushed and broken forever, but this time, their oppressor is a girlboss! Hooray!...........To Read More...

Barr Busted: Thank You ABC/Disney!

By Rich Kozlovich

Roseanne Barr described "Barack Obama political guru Valerie Jarrett as a cross between the Muslim Brotherhood and the Planet of the Apes" and got fired for it.

On May 30, 2018 Scott McKay posted an article entitled, A Pox On Both Your Houses stating:
Nobody should be too angry that Roseanne Barr got fired on Monday — but that doesn’t change the fact ABC/Disney is an atrocious company. Plus, various and sundry other items of note. on’t be too shocked at this, but Roseanne Barr said something intolerable and got her highly-rated ABC sitcom canceled before its second season could go into production. The decision to dump her show came within mere hours after the statement.
As for her Muslim Brotherhood connections he stated:
Jarrett’s Muslim Brotherhood connections are less a matter of perception; Judicial Watch revealed it had uncovered documentation to that effect in 2015.
But to compare her to apes is clearly racist, irrational and stunningly stupid.

But remember - this is Roseanne Barr!

Remember when she grabbed her crotch and then spit on the ground after butchering the National Anthem at a ball game?

Her response to the boos?
"I'm sorry that I didn't sing so good, but I'd like to hear him [the President] sing it." Barr also said she would do it all again, "but I'd do it for a hipper crowd. If this is the worst thing they've ever heard, then their lives have been pretty easy."
Remember when she publically claimed she was sexually molested as a child, but one of the other children claimed that was all false. Twenty years later here's her recantation.
While appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show nearly 20 years later, however, Roseanne said she regretted those accusations. "I think it's the worst thing I've ever done," she said, per Access. "It's the biggest mistake that I've ever made."
"Calling it incest?" Oprah asked. "Or going public?"
"Well, both of those things," the comedian replied. "I was in a very unhappy relationship. I was prescribed numerous psychiatric drugs, incredible mixtures of psychiatric drugs to deal with the fact that I had — and still in some ways have and always will have — some mental illness. And [with] the drugs and the combination of drugs that I was given — which were some strong, strong drugs — I totally lost touch with reality in a big, big way."
So because this lunatic was unhappy and on drugs she could only find solace in vilifying her parents in a way that can't be retracted no matter what is said thereafter?

Why would anyone be shocked or surprised at anything this woman says or does?  She has never had an intimate relationship with reality.  And she bounces back and forth like a tennis ball between sane and insane.

Here are a couple of Rosanne Barr quotes and who I really think she is:
  • "I hate every human being on earth. I feel that everyone is beneath me, and I feel they should all worship me. That's what I told my kids:"
  • "Legalize hemp and allow women to grow it and make food, clothing and housing for pennies from it and legalize marijuana too. Let women integrate their divided consciousness with a natural herb instead of doctor’s pills that kill the liver."
The author went on to say:
It isn’t like Roseanne Barr wasn’t a rickety wagon to begin with. She’s categorically insane and has been for quite some time. What’s more, Roseanne Barr is anything but the middle class conservative icon the promoters of her show’s reboot billed her as in advance of its return to ABC’s lineup of shows this spring. She’s every bit the leftist the rest of Hollywood is; she’s just trashier and less pretentious. That the characters on the show were Trump supporters doesn’t mean much; if anything that fact gave license to the show’s producers to use them as figures of ridicule. Barr has made a career out of portraying herself that way; why Trump supporters would appreciate being identified with one of the least desirable, most lowbrow acts on television is something your author never could understand.
I couldn't agree more.  I didn't see any of this production, and had no intention of watching any future shows, and I'm not bleeding all over myself for Roseanne Barr.  I've always found her contemptible and she's done nothing in her personal or professional life that made me want to change my mind.

McKay goes on to lay out some sound thoughts:
So good riddance to Roseanne Barr and let’s not expend much energy in making a martyr of her in our current culture war.
The real issue here isn't Rosanne Barr, although I doubt she would have been fired if she's said something as obnoxious and stupid about Condolezza Rice, who was treated by leftist media treated in a most disgusting way without anyone being fired.  The real issue is ABC/Disney.  They've gone so far to the left if they were sitting at a table with Bernie Sanders he would have to look to the left to see them.  That's who everyone should be paying attention to, not the firing of Rosanne Barr.

As for Barr - it was just a matter of time before she reverted back to her normal insane self.  Her firing just saved conservatives from a lot of embarrassing future moments.

In this every conservative in the nation can thank ABC/Disney!
