Evidence from Arizona’s School Choice System: Competition Works in Education

August 6, 2025 by Dan Mitchell @ International Liberty

As explained in this video from 15 years ago, the case for school choice is based on the fact that government monopolies don’t do a good job.

There are several reasons for the inadequate performance of government schools,  most notably the way that they are operated for the benefit of teacher unions and education bureaucrats rather than students.

The net result is that taxpayers pay a lot for kids to only learn a little.

In a system of school choice, however, families can choose the best option for educating their kids.

When that happens, educational outcomes improve and taxpayers save money.

We’re seeing real-world evidence in Arizona.

Here are some excerpts from a report in the Washington Post by Laura Meckler. We’ll start with the supposedly bad news of a government school closing.

…the school’s librarian was in tears. …On a wall of the library, visitors posted sticky notes to describe their feelings: “Angry,” read a purple square. “Anxious,” said a pink one. “Annoyed.” “Heart broken.” “Bummed.” And more than any other word: “Sad.” Ten days later, John R. Davis Elementary School would close — not just for the summer, but for good. Now, as the new school year begins, the Roosevelt Elementary School District opens with just 13 schools.

That’s almost a third fewer than it had last spring, a response to enrollment declines as the state offers unprecedented taxpayer funding for alternatives to public school. …Districts of all income levels and test scores have seen enrollment declines, Brammer said. In the Phoenix area, at least 20 schools across several districts have closed in the past year or so amid enrollment drops.

Why did John R. Davis Elementary School shut down, along with the others?

Because, as discussed here, parents had better options.

The Post story also notes that parents have voted with their feet.

Perhaps more than any other state, Arizona has embraced market competition as a central tenet of its K-12 education system, offering parents an extraordinary opportunity to choose and shape their children’s education using tax dollars, and developing a national reputation as the Wild West of schooling. …just 75 percent of Arizona children attended public schools in 2021, the most recent year for which data is available.

That’s one of the lowest rates in the country. …Critics complain that vouchers eat up state funding…and send tax dollars to schools that face little accountability. …School officials in Roosevelt (and elsewhere) partly blame demographic change for the enrollment declines. …The problem…stems from families choosing alternatives. …south Phoenix has been ripe for competition in a state eager to offer it. …The district’s failings help explain the rise of microschools operated by Black Mothers Forum.

But the Post report didn’t tell the full story.

Jason Bedrick of the Heritage Foundation has a tweet with some very valuable context.

And Bedrick, along with Matthew Ladner, preemptively addressed this controversy in a column more than two months ago for the Daily Signal.

It deals with the closure of other government schools. Here are some excerpts.

…some school choice critics are citing the Roosevelt Elementary School District in South Phoenix, which recently began the process of closing five schools. …Let’s be clear: Something is draining students out of Roosevelt School District. But it’s not scholarship accounts. It’s families making rational, often difficult decisions to leave underperforming and sometimes unsafe schools for better opportunities elsewhere—mostly in other public schools.

Funding isn’t the problem. Arizona school districts are at record levels of funding, and Roosevelt is no different. According to the Arizona Auditor General, in fiscal year 2024, statewide “school district spending increased by over $500 million to $13.1 billion, with per student increases in all operational spending areas.” Since fiscal year 2019, Roosevelt’s total spending has increased from $111 million to over $143 million—a 29% increase in spending even as student enrollment dropped by 16%. …Roosevelt spends 50% more on administrative costs per pupil than the state average. …

Roosevelt has been hemorrhaging students since long before the scholarship account program went universal in 2022. The district has lost more than 5,000 students since 2006, including more than 1,300 students in the past five years. Instead of complaining about the competition, district officials should ask parents why they are fleeing in droves. …No one should blame parents for walking away from this dysfunction or for choosing better options.

The bottom line is that school choice is working exactly as it should – giving families options so that they are not trapped in failing government schools.

School closings in Arizona should be celebrated, not mourned.

P.S. No wonder school choice is spreading across the country. Hopefully, this means the United States will improve its #19 ranking.

P.P.S. While Arizona’s school choice system is great, Florida’s might be even better.

Celebrating Educational Progress in Arizona…and Beyond

February 17, 2025 by Dan Mitchell @ International Liberty

Arizona has been a national leader in school choice, ranking at or near the top according to both the Education Freedom Report Card and the Index of State Education Freedom.

Here’s a video showing how choice is giving parents better options.

The good news is not limited to Arizona.

In an article for the Daily Signal, Jason Bedrick shares data showing how the number of kids directly benefiting from school choice has skyrocketed in recent years.

As you can see, a slow and steady increase, followed by a big jump in recent years thanks to all the states that have enacted choice programs since the pandemic (thank you, teacher unions, for being so bad that parents finally revolted!).

Here’s some of what Jason wrote in the article.

…the school choice movement is on the cusp of hitting a major milestone. By the end of 2025, it is likely that more than half of K-12 students nationwide will be eligible for private school choice. In the past five years, the number of students benefiting from school choice has more than doubled. …In the past five years, the number of states with a publicly funded universal school choice policy has increased from zero to 11.

Additionally, Montana has a privately funded tax credit scholarship policy for which all students are eligible, and more than 95% of Indiana students are eligible for a school voucher. …Lawmakers in Georgia, Indiana, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wyoming are considering expanding eligibility for their education choice policies to all students. Additionally, lawmakers in Idaho, Kansas, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Texas are considering new choice policies. Several of these states are considering universal choice policies. …

This could be the tipping point for school choice because it will normalize the concept. …As voters see that students are thriving in states that replaced the district-school monopoly with a system of parental choice, opponents of choice will be deprived of their most effective argument.

Let’s close with a tweet Jason shared about the momentum for school choice.

I’ve already written about school choice reform in West Virginia, Arizona, Iowa, Utah, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Oklahoma, North Carolina, and Alabama. Let’s hope I have a chance to write many more columns in the near future.

P.S. School choice is also an international phenomenon. I’ve written about programs in Canada, Sweden, Chile, the Netherlands, and Denmark.

P.P.S. Getting rid of the Department of Education in Washington would be a good idea, but the battle for school choice is largely won and lost on the state and local level.

Patriot Neighbors welcomes sharing readers’ opinions. A Former Californian’s View of Arizona

 By Cari DLC — Arizona

As a former Californian who moved to Arizona in 2022, I will tell you what I’ve experienced here. I had the opportunity to speak with one of the constables in my city (Prescott area) and he mentioned to me that some family and friends of his had returned to California because they couldn’t take ruby red Arizona.

Granted, they lived in ruby red Yavapai County, which is admittedly the most conservative region in the state. But I will say that when I speak to people from the valley, which is Phoenix, they convey that they are really tired of the homelessness and all of the typical dystopia that goes hand-in-hand with liberal policies. Up here in Prescott you can’t swing a bat without finding a red blooded constitutional American! We love our God, our guns, and our state. But most of all, we love America!

I just got an email from Kari Lake stating that the election forecast shows that Arizona is no longer a tossup state. We are now a Lean R state -- which just means we are a red state – which everyone knew all along.

The funny thing is I still think a lot of California is Republican. It’s just been dominated by a machine that isn’t. Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, San Francisco, etc. That was by design for sure.

Dan Bongino says it best when he says take 10 people with you to the polls. I am doing my best to no longer hide my feelings about Donald Trump or our country or how important it is for us to vote. Of course, we already know that here in ruby red Yavapai County! We’re just going to make it too big to rig!

While most Arizonians were shocked when they called the state early for Biden – we were absolutely gobsmacked when Kari Lake “lost” her race for governor in 2022. It just didn’t seem possible. I mean, we had attended a jampacked Trump/Lake rally – right here in Prescott Valley. We never heard a good word about Katie Hobbs. My hope is that we are ready for whatever they throw at us in November and they up losing “bigly.”

And yes, I do remember that we were a Republican state in California until we weren’t.

As a former Californian, Arizona is my heaven. My hope is that, as Arizona goes, so the nation! Fight! Fight! Fight!

The Changing Election Laws of Swing States – Arizona

The Grand Canyon State gets tough on non-citizen voting and streamlines the counts.

The early elections and Super Tuesday have come and gone. With Donald Trump and Joe Biden both having already surpassed the required number of delegates to claim their respective parties’ nominations, it’s all over but the crying. But the primaries and caucuses continue, for a while, at least. Next up on the list of swing states with changing election laws is Arizona.

While the most recent election law likely won’t change who wins the party primaries in the Grand Canyon state tomorrow, March 19, – and certainly won’t alter who makes it to the main stage in November – it does change how votes are counted. Another, far less bipartisan law from 2022 could affect who is able to vote this year – which could make a huge difference in who wins the Arizona electors. Trump won the state in 2016 by just 4.1%, and Biden squeaked by in 2020 with a lead of less than half a percent.

It’s About Time

Back in 2022, the US Congress passed a bill that altered when statewide results must be reported. At the same time, Arizona lawmakers tightened the threshold that triggers automatic recounts in a way that all but guarantees some counties – Maricopa County, especially – will almost always have a recount. That was bad news for the Grand Canyon State, as complying with the new federal deadline became virtually impossible.

The fix came just in time this year. Election directors said the last possible date to move the primary was February 9; the legislature passed the bill – almost unanimously, in fact – on February 8.

The new law established certain requirements for how officials must verify voter signatures on mail-in ballots. It also moved up the primary, and shortened just slightly the window voters have to address ballot errors from five business days to five calendar days. The new law does require election officials to prepare their final results more quickly than in previous years, and certifying and reporting said results can’t be postponed for any reason. However, they can now be reported electronically. Previously, election results had to be hand-delivered in Phoenix.

If any county does trigger a recount, a hand count and electronic count can be done simultaneously to speed up the process, and candidates who don’t wish to fight a close call will be allowed to opt out of having the recount completed.

Arizona Aliens

In a far less bipartisan move, the Arizona state legislature of 2022 passed a series of election bills that, among other things, require proof of citizenship for voter registration – which then-Governor Doug Ducey, a Republican, signed into law. Now, the Arizona legislature has been run by Republicans for a long time: Democrats have controlled the state Senate only thrice since 1966 (the elections of ’74, ’76, and ’90), and Republicans have held the House undefeated since ’66. But those majorities have often been slim. In 2022, it was 31-29 in the House and 16-14 in the Senate. So while Republicans held enough votes to pass the bills, the legislation was far from universally welcomed.

 https://www.libertynation.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/New-banner-The-Road-to-2024-Banner.jpg

The new laws were quickly tied up in court, where a federal judge in Phoenix just recently upheld some parts while blocking others. US District Judge Susan Bolton ruled at the end of February this year that requiring county officials to verify the status of registered voters who haven’t provided proof of citizenship is not discriminatory, as detractors (like various progressive groups and the US Department of Justice) claimed.

Another provision, however, which would have required voters to show proof of US citizenship to participate in federal elections, she ruled violated a federal voter registration law from 1993. Under that law – and a consent decree from 2018 – the state can’t stop people who use a federal registration form, which doesn’t require proof of citizenship, from casting a ballot in federal elections.

So what’s the outcome? Arizona now has a two-tiered voter system. The state will accept the federal registration form, but anyone who doesn’t provide proof of citizenship will only be allowed to vote for president, the US House, and the US Senate. Only those who verify their citizenship can vote in all elections – federal, state, and local.

“The court finds that though it may occur, non-citizen voting in Arizona is quite rare, and non-citizen voter fraud in Arizona is rarer still,” Judge Bolton wrote in her ruling. “But while the voting laws are not likely to meaningfully reduce the possible non-citizen voting in Arizona, they could help to prevent non-citizens from registering or voting.”

While the judge could be correct in her assessment of how often non-citizen voter fraud occurs, she might be wrong. And there are certainly those who believe, or at least suspect, that she is. But even if she’s right, one must wonder just how much fraud constitutes “rare” and “rarer still,” especially when the razor-thin majorities of presidential elections are concerned. For example, Joe Biden took the state by just 0.4%, 1,672,143 to Trump’s 1,661,686.

That’s a margin of just 10,457 votes out of a total of 3,333,829. Some might call anything less than half a percent “rare” – especially in a state that, even according to the DHS Office of Immigration Statistics – has at least 300,000 “undocumented immigrants.”

Exclusive — Kari Lake: Failed ‘Bribe’ for Me to Stay Out of Politics Exactly Why I Needed to Run

Nick Gilbertson

Arizona Republican Senate candidate Kari Lake told Sirius XM’s Breitbart News Saturday that the “bribe” to stay out of politics she rejected from “powerful people back East” served as a prime example of why she must run for Senate.  Lake, a former Fox 10 Phoenix anchor who is the leading republican Senate candidate in Arizona, joined host and Breitbart News Washington Bureau Chief Matthew Boyle for a 20-minute segment on Saturday’s program.  Boyle asked Lake to break down the bombshell recording from before she declared her candidacy, in which former Arizona GOP Chair Jeff DeWit seemed to imply a bribe offer from “powerful people” somewhere “back East.” DeWitt noted the people who wanted to “keep her out” were “willing to put their money where their mouth is in a big way.”......To Read More...

My Take - She's been criticized over the timing of this and how some find her claim she didn't really listen to the recording properly before this, and truthfully, I find that a bit silly also, but so what?  The question isn't whether or not the timing was appropriate.  The only question that needs asked and answered is whether or not it was true.  It was.  Finis!

Here's more on Kari Lake, with My Take:

First, we have these slanted stories about the Arizona Republicans booing Kari Lake:

Arizona Republicans Relentlessly Boo Kari Lake On Home Turf Following Scandal -The Arizona GOP crowd gave Lake a piece of their mind after audio showed the state's Republican party chair appearing to push her to stay out of politics.  Arizona Republicans let Kari Lake have it this weekend as they hurled boos and jeers her way at a state GOP meeting following a scandal involving her and the now-former head of the state’s party. The brutal reaction arrived following the resignation of Arizona GOP chairman Jeff DeWit after leaked audio appeared to show him pressing Lake, a Trump-endorsed election denier running for a U.S. Senate seat, to stay out of office.....

Well, I wondered about that, but Andrea Widburg once again dug into that slanted reporting in her article:

Some boos notwithstanding, don’t write off Kari Lake yet - By Andrea Widurg January 30, 2024 -Around 36 hours ago, a shocking video emerged: Arizonans were booing Kari Lake, the hottest political star, not just in Arizona but in America (other than Donald Trump, of course). However, there’s a strong possibility that the video may have been a matter of the videographer’s proximity rather than a large-scale opposition to the Arizona political star.  The big news was that, on Saturday, when Kari Lake made her appearance at the state’s GOP gathering, she was greeted with boos. The excitement from political observers about this bit of news was palpable, especially from the left side of the aisle:.........I mention all of this because I heard from someone who was, as he said, “present, with voting privileges, Saturday when Kari Lake took the stage.” According to my correspondent:

In the Maricopa County contingent, I was seated very near the middle of the venue.  The roar of approval was so loud that it sounded enthusiastic and comprehensive.  We may have given her standing applause, but my memory is hazy since we did for several people who took the stage, but I think she was one.

I've said in the past she's formidable, and I wondered if these "booers" were representative of the McCainite leadership cabal, or was it the Republican base?  This article answers that, which I suspected.

No matter what's said, Kari Lake remains formidable! She's impressive, she's smart, gutsy, honest, she challenges the leftist media and beats them with directness, and she's what people are looking for.  Meghan McCain's laughter at any booing is a symptom of the sickness that permeates Republican leadership nationwide, and what normal people are sick and tired of.

Olivia Murray is a writer for American Thinker, and I think an excellent analyst.  She posted this commentary: AZGOP’s new chair took $15k per month from the taxpayers to ‘consult’ the state senate on securing elections, only to produce nothing, noting:

I hate to be the reliable cynic or the bearer of bad news, but… the Arizona GOP is still firmly under the control of the same Uniparty politics that controlled DeWit… so prepare yourself for more of the same from the Grand Canyon state come election time. This is only the tip of the iceberg with Swoboda, but see the post to X below from someone with a strong opinion about what happened...

Kari Lake was being booed for releasing a recording of the head of the Arizona GOP chairman Jeff DeWit attempting to bribe her to drop out of the Senate race, saying there were those from "out East" who didn't want her in Washington and they were willing to be generous, and he resigned, and she was criticized because she took so long to release it.  Okay...so what?  Did he attempt to bribe her?  Yes, he did!  Since it's true, does it matter when it was released?  So, now a new Chairman has been appointed, one she opposed, and when reading her history, she's going to be as big a problem as was DeWit, but Trump jumped in and endorsed her.  He should have followed her lead. But noooooo.....he butted in, and she played the good soldier, saluted and said "yes sir".

I really wonder at his endorsements.... a lot...and I'm convinced Trump is in dire need of a jury analyst as his personnel consultant.  Let the politicos make their recommendations, and then turn those names over to the jury analyst, and I'm betting most of them would be shown the door in short order.

MASSIVE Voter Discrepancy Found in 2022 Midterm Elections in Arizona

Kari Lake and her team have spent the last seven months trying to expose enough of the massive, widespread voter fraud as possible from the 2022 election in Arizona. Officials claim she lost despite a plethora of irregularities found before, during, and after the election. Corporate media claims she’s just an “election denier” while refusing to report on the facts. Thus far, the corrupt judiciary has failed to allow justice to prevail despite mountains of evidence that call the 2022 election into question.  The foes are many of election integrity are numerous. They have deep pockets. They’re supported by the so-called “arbiters of truth” in media and the courts. But Lake continues to fight............To Read More....

Why Kari Lake Couldn't Close the Deal

May 25, 2023 By Jay Valentine @ American Thinker

Editor's Note: I've not asked for, nor received permission to publish this great voter fraud piece.  If American Thinker or Jay Valentine object I will break it down into a link.  But I think this piece is so profound it needs as large a distribution as possible, and I would like to recommend viewing my RK

The 2022 stolen Arizona governor's election is an ideal template for 2024 — and it is equally a mirror reflection, with all the moving parts, of 2020.

This week, Kari Lake lost, again, in a court that wouldn't have given her a victory had 240,000 citizens signed affidavits saying their ballots were stolen and changed at gunpoint.

The courtroom exhibits may not have swayed the jurists, but those signature mismatches showed plenty of evidence that Kari Lake's election was stolen by a lack of signature verification — and more.

Kari Lake's election is the template for important American elections from now on.

Lake is a massively charismatic MAGA candidate who politicos know has the legs to go the distance.  She handles the press like how a kindergarten teacher handles unruly kids — except the teacher doesn't make the kids look stupid.  Kari does.

Kari lost because she is naturally gifted and could upend established order.  The leftists pulled out all the stops — just like 2020 and, soon, 2024.

Her team's outstanding testimony in several court cases showed that elected officials changed printer settings, mostly in Republican areas, so printers would not process a ballot.

Officials ran signatures through a nonexistent verification process, counting several hundred thousand ballots that were clearly sketchy.

Our team did the expert witness report on Kari Lake election data showing elected officials jacked with voter rolls days before the election — as in 22,000 new voters and 107,000 changes to the rolls, and thousands of address changes.  We suspect that those voter roll manipulations were not to help Kari.

This is the reality of important elections in America today.

Ballot-harvesting is not the problem.  Signature verification is not the problem.  Jacking with the voter database days before the vote is not the problem.  Phantom voters — by the tens of thousands — are not the problem.  Election commissions allowing third parties real-time visibility to the voter cast ballot list to vote the recalcitrants is not the problem.  U.S. Postal Service employees gathering loose ballots for leftist groups is not the problem.

The problem is that leftists control the entire election apparatus in every swing state, and they have innumerable tools — like those just noted — to steal any election.  The Kari Lake election showed that the leftists will use all of them when needed.

The Kari Lake election is equally a template for 2024 because Lake's reaction is to take Arizona back by "chasing ballots."

That is the same strategy President Trump is employing — he calls it ballot-harvesting, being a bit looser with vocabulary.

Leftists are jumping for joy as Lake and Trump take the bait — outperform the pros at ballot-harvesting, when they have a dozen other ways to steal an election.  None of those ways is addressed by Lake or Trump.  They do not even understand them.

How about real-time, or close to it, snapshots of state voter rolls — especially around election time — to stop 33,000 ZIP codes from being changed the week mail-in ballots are sent out, then changed back?  Time series voter roll analysis exposes any change to a voter roll, which is later hidden when that change is reversed.

How about testing, real time, to stop 41,400 inactive voters from being changed to active, voted, then changed back again?

How about comparing the election rolls to the property tax rolls to make sure people residing in a vacant lot are flagged?  In Arizona, it's cool for someone to claim a street corner as his address — many thanks to years of RINO leadership.  How does the guy living on the street corner get a mail-in ballot?  It's not as if there is mail delivery to that tent on the corner in Phoenix.

We're not done.

What about the real-time access to state election systems to count cast ballots illegally given to leftist organizations so they know exactly how many ballots they need to win — by just a little?

What about tens of thousands of hidden secondary voter IDs, invisible to voters, electronically moved to counties where they are voted, then moved back?  They didn't vote; clever leftists took care of that civic duty for them.

How about the "contribution mules" making thousands of small donations, and when an intrepid reporter knocks on their door, they are amazed — since they didn't make the donations?  Anyone checking for that?

Does anyone think for a moment that "chasing ballots" with the Kari Lake Excellent Adventure team is going to stop leftists from tampering — successfully — with an election?

Or is it perhaps the only strategy to employ when you don't know what else to do?

How does one take on election fraud when it has so many layers, so many manifestations, that one cannot figure out where to start?  Sometimes any action is better than none — but do not confuse action with results.

Important elections in swing states are manipulated by elected officials.

Ballot-chasing won't change anything — it will just keep the troops busy until the next loss, followed by endless litigation.

These election fraud techniques share two characteristics: each is invisible to current technology, and each can be visualized and likely thwarted with real-time, high-speed database analysis.

Republicans don't embrace real time.

The RNC, the Trump Campaign, the Lake Campaign continue to fail with batch computer systems using 1970s technology.

Once that was an opinion.  It is now fact, since our team offered the Arizona election integrity team real-time cross-searching of county voter rolls.  They demurred — each of the seven times we offered.  It was for free — we would do all the work; just give us the data.

After doing the expert witness report for the Lake Campaign, we saw that had real-time analysis been in place, for even a single county, Lake could have stopped the thousands of voter roll manipulations made days before the election.  Lake would have surprised the leftists.  The 17,000-vote difference was well within her reach — just not her grasp.

Instead, here we are.  Lake losing court case after court case.  Arizona likely lost for a decade or more.

Real-time visibility is disruptive.  It disrupts the bad guys because they can no longer hide in latent, wildly inaccurate databases like those in Arizona.  Everything they do, down to changing a comma, is immediately visible.

Real time is disruptive to the Trump and RNC data types with their 1970s SQL technology that could not possibly thwart these leftist tactics.  They can't implement real time because they don't know how.

Real time is disruptive to the Republican election integrity types who hold seminars, gather donations, lose elections, file lawsuits, and gather more donations.  They offer those same 1970s ancient technologies.  It's all they know.

Perhaps instead of trying to "out-ballot-harvest" the professionals, it might make sense to out-compute them, stop their fraud apparatus in flight — something some of us know something about.

The Kari Lake Continuing Saga

By Rich Kozlovich

One thing has become clear.  Kari Lake isn't someone you want to tick off.  She's maintained the election for Governor of Arizona was stolen, and she's not backing down, and no one is going to intimidate her. So, here's the latest enjoy!

After Scoring HUGE AZ Supreme Court Victory, Dems Are Now Trying to Have Kari Lake Arrested, March 23, 2023 - Believe it or not, the AZ governors race is technically still not over. As a matter of fact, it’s heating back up, thanks to a huge court victory for Kari Lake. On Wedneday, Arizona’s State Supreme Court agreed with Kari Lake’s argument that lower courts made a mistake when they dismissed her challenge to the “signature verification process” during 2022 midterms....And this tremendous victory wouldn’t be possible if Kari Lake wasn’t such a relentless fighter.  After the controversial 2022 Arizona midterm election, which was tarnished by voting machine problems and ballot issues, Lake vowed to keep fighting..........Kari is the type of fighter the GOP needs, so of course, the Dems are doing whatever they can to stop her, including their new favorite go-to move: arrest..............

Kari Lake on the verge of conquering the hell that is election impropriety March 23, 2023 While many “shrink from the service of their country” one Arizonan in particular stands resolute, and shows me just how wrong I was to doubt her.............For context: Lake and her legal team alleged that under the direction of Democrat Adrian Fontes, the Maricopa County Recorder’s office failed to follow the law during the signature verification process for mail-in ballots. The overwhelming number of potentially problematic ballots has the possibility to alter the victor of the governor’s race, and if these ballots are in fact fraudulent or invalid, the installation of Katie Hobbs could transcend plausible speculation and become proven fact in a court of law. Watch Lake break down what she calls “just scratching the surface” below:.........

Arizona School Board Member Says District Should Reject Hiring Christian Teachers

Spencer Lindquist 3 Mar 2023, Tags:

Tamillia Valenzuela
Tamillia Valenzuela, a school board member in Arizona’s Washington Elementary School District, said she opposes having a contract with a Christian university over their religious beliefs. The school district, which serves students in the Phoenix and Glendale areas, had a contract with Arizona Christian University for five years. The contract allowed student teachers at the university to be placed in the district’s classrooms in order to gain experience.   The board then agreed to dissolve the partnership with Arizona Christian University on February 23rd, with board member Tamillia Valenzuela criticizing the institution’s Christian beliefs...........To Read More...

My Take - When you read this weirdo's bio you have to wonder who in the world voted for her?   Apparently three of the board members are gay, which most likely gives them a majority, and guess what county this is in?  Maricopa!  And you're shocked, right?

Why Judges Won’t Rule There Was Voter Disenfranchisement When it Happens to Republicans

Rachel Alexander Rachel Alexander Mar 06, 2023 As Arizona experiences a repeat of the 2020 election, where MAGA candidates allegedly lost to poor Democratic candidates like Katie Hobbs who refused to debate, some are turning on the MAGA candidates and blaming them instead of election fraud.

The candidates’ lawsuits are predictably going nowhere, as judges throw them out for supposed “lack of evidence” or narrow technical reasons such as “lack of standing.” The judges pretend that witness testimony and affidavits don’t constitute evidence, but every first year law school student learns that of the 11 sections of the traditional Rules of Evidence in law, an entire section, section 6, is devoted to witness testimony. Witness testimony throughout history has been the smoking gun in many cases; defendants have gone to the death penalty based on witness testimony alone............

Lake’s appeal brief is one of the best in all of the election lawsuits, it should be a slam dunk.............But judges cannot rule in favor of election integrity when it helps Republicans because they are terrified of what the left will do to them and their careers...........The left will try to cancel, dox and harass them...........The left will urge businesses to cancel the justices, making it difficult for them to merely get by. ............To Read More....

BOMBSHELL: Expert Witness Reveals Installed AZ Governor Katie Hobbs Laundered Cartel Money Through Fake Deeds and Mortgages to Rig Elections . . . Including Her Own

By Feb. 24, 2023

Even as the vast majority of conservatives in the nation have given up on exposing the massive, widespread voter fraud that stole the 2020 presidential elections as well as multiple lower elections in the 2022 cycle, some are still fighting the good fight to bring corruption to light. One such patriot is Jacqueline Breger who presented compelling testimony and evidence to the Arizona Joint Elections Committee Thursday.

According to Breger, installed Democrat Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs, who was Secretary of State presiding over the gubernatorial election against Republican Kari Lake, has a long and demonstrable history of corruption that includes using Mexican cartel money to steal multiple state elections.

As Jordan Conradson noted on The Gateway Pundit:.........

The details revealed by Breger are absolutely damning. Even if one does not connect her actions to either the cartel or voter fraud (both of which seem almost certainly connected), the simple impropriety of Hobbs’ actions are undeniable. According to her testimony [emphasis added].............To Read More...

Leftist Corruption and Insanity Has No Boundaries

Rich Kozlovich

In the past I've discussed the two trails story.  There are two trails leading through the jungle to get to a desired location. One is difficult, and requires cutting your way through heavy growth and uneven ground, takes longer, but if you go that way you will arrive safely.

The other trail is easy, smooth and is quicker, but there's a problem with this trail.  You see, it's commonly known at the end of that trail is a pride of lions that jumps out killing and eating everyone who takes it, every time!  Yet we find over and over again people keep taking the easy trail refusing to do the work necessary to get the right result, completely ignoring history and reality.

This morning I published another one of Daniel Greenfield's excellent commentaries on the corruption of Israel's political left.  His commentary is about who really is behind this latest Muslim terrorist outrage murdering innocent people for political ends saying:

The attacks were launched less than a month after the new Israeli government was sworn in. The Netanyahu government has pledged to reform the leftist judiciary which enables terrorism......A generation of Israelis has grown up in a state of siege because the terrorists waging war on the country enjoy extensive foreign support from Iran, the EU, and the State Department in the United States, as well as domestic support from the Israeli Left, which uses its official and activist arms to undermine the fight against terrorism in every possible way...........The Left was able to legitimize the PLO and give it control of sizable parts of Israel by crippling previous efforts by conservative governments to defeat the terrorists and expel them from Israel...........What is going on in Israel is not just warfare, but a culture war between the democratic majority and an entrenched leftist elite that will use any means to protect its power and privilege............

The positions taken by these leftists are insane and clearly represent an existential threat to Israel, and yet they continue down that destructive trail.  Their reasoning is nonsense and their actions are suicidal, yet they keep going down the trail that leads to the lions.  Well, this pattern of leftist corruption is unending.  The left worldwide never plays by any rules, at least any rules they don't make up or can corrupt.  There are no boundaries to the left, so anything that will deter them from getting and holding power must be destroyed.  And that includes fair and honest elections, just like China, Russia, Cuba, Venezuela, or any other communist held country,

In Arizona Kari Lake has been adamant she lost for one reason and one reason only.  Voter fraud, and has been firm in her stand saying she's not giving up as they have the evidence, and the last court decision was clearly idiotic.

Now it's come out there is massive evidence of wrongdoing in Maricopa County, which houses 60% of Arizona's population, so that's where the corruption must be the greatest in order for voter fraud to alter the election, and the courts have been allowing it to happen, and there's more than enough evidence the fraud she's claims happened, and according to this VIDEO – “Nearly 300,000 Ballots In 2022 Would FAIL Signature Verification.

how could this happen without a .....watch out now....watch out.....here is comes..... a conspiracy of massive proportions?  And if it is a conspiracy, it's a conspiracy to commit a crime.  So isn't that a RICO violation?

The current and fraudulently elected governor who was the Attorney General threatened to file felony charges against anyone who refused to certify the fraudulent results of her being elected.  That's the pattern, and it's the card these leftists are going to keep playing.

So, Lake has another hearing on February 1st with the Arizona Court of Appeals and these co-conspirators are terrified nothing is going to stop Lake from exposing this corruption.  So, the newly elected Attorney General, whose election is also being called into question, is trying to jail her on felony charges, for her exercising her Constitutional rights, claiming this is a form of intimidation to destroy election integrity.  Yet all she did was share information that is available and provable.  But to leftists truth is anathema.

Is this the vision of America's Founding Father's, or the vision of Karl Marx?  Marxism, just like that pride of lions, is deadly to freedom, individual rights, justice, the US Constitution, and represent a very real existential threat to America.  As the Canada Free Press states: Because without America, there is no free world.

That's history, and that history is incontestable.

The End of Free Elections?

December 28, 2022 By Jay Valentine

This week, leftists and RINOs admitted, under oath, that they changed the print settings, on election morning, so Republican votes would not be tabulated, on the one day most Republicans vote -- and the Maricopa County judge said “…it wasn’t intentional.”  A Republican governor candidate who easily won by multiple points was denied her rightful election.  Several million Arizona voters were disenfranchised.

Not a word from Republican leaders! Wake up, America.  Leftists and RINOs have spent the last 40 years transforming election machinery to end your right to vote -- and they are about to finish the job.

This week, the governor of Minnesota took the lead by planning to register, automatically, teenagers not old enough to vote.  On election day, there will be tens of thousands of names, with little history, who can be voted by election commissions when needed.  Democrats are proposing laws making it a felony to question an election.  Of course they are!  Breitbart, Fox News, and about every other mainstream controlled opposition are cowed into submission........

Working with Mike Lindell, we currently run the voter rolls for a dozen states and have the data for several more.  In every case, the number of “voter registration anomalies” is from 5% to 18% of the voter roll.  A voter anomaly?   Try the 41 voters registered in a hotel in Missouri.  How about the registered voters in the Harris County, Texas prison?  Examples are so numerous we have a website to cover them..............To Read More...

Judge Rules Kari Lake Election Contest Will Go to Trial

December 20, 2022 Ohio Star

Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Peter Thompson ruled late Monday that Kari Lake's election contest lawsuit will go to trial on Wednesday. The judge's ruling came hours after attorneys for the defendants--Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, and the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors--and the plaintiff, GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake,...To Read More...

Election-fraud corruption is deeper than anyone can imagine

We need Voter ID and permanent voter registration cards, publicaly viewable software, hand marked paper ballots, and all data to be kept for public viewing

By ——--December 13, 2022

Multiple polls conclude that over 70% of Americans think our elections are filled with fraud. But we’re learning it’s deeper and more organized than just a few thousand mules dropping fake ballots into election boxes.

The corruption involves both political parties. Big Tech manipulates search engine results, and takes down “dangerous” websites. With the Elon Musk revelations, we now see that our own FBI is working actively with Twitter to censor conservatives and silence dissenting speech. It’s next to certain that Twitter wasn’t the only Social Media Giant the FBI was giving orders to. And the mainstream media is all-in on ridiculing, dismissing or attacking people willing to speak out.

Anyone who floats the idea that the Republican red wave disappeared because of poor GOP tactics, or inadequate candidates is either stupid or part of this conspiracy. In fact, it’s an excellent “RINO detector!”

Absentee ballots are the currency of election fraud

Any “conservative” news organization that is not focusing 100% on the corruption that has been unearthed in Maricopa County is complicit.

The Left and their RINO allies, along with who-knows-how-many other corporate and foreign actors, have set up the most complicated electoral fraud system in history. EVERY step of the voting process—from who is allowed to vote, how they vote, how the votes are tallied, to how the results are reported, is compromised. They are so far into their corruption that being exposed is not an option. They will do literally anything to avoid being caught.

A good place to start is with the voter rolls. ..............To Read More.....

Arizona Rising

By Rich Kozlovich

Regular readers know I've been strident on the fact voter fraud "elected" Joe Biden as President of the United States, and voter fraud has become a national plague.  That's a plague more destructive than the pandemic hysteria created over covid, and the

Third World Tyranny Strikes America’s Republic: Election Integrity Volunteers ‘Afraid’ to Attend Recount After Michigan AG Threatens ProsecutionThreatening to jail anyone who dares question the obvious fraud being perpetrated on the nation.   Yet sixty percent of the nation believes the 2020 election was stolen.

t's my view far fewer Democrats would be elected without voter fraud, and on a massive scale, and Arizona is no exception.  More

Kari Lake told Tucker Carlson, “We’re drawing up lawsuits because we won’t have elections like they have in 3rd world countries.”  Clarice Feldman reported:

Kari Lake just filed a 70-page complaint charging that there were hundreds of thousands of illegal votes counted in the midterm election in Arizona. The complaint seems well-documented, and, unlike too many post-election complaints, this one makes a credible argument that the fraud was so extensive it provably affected the election results which must, therefore, be overturned.

As time goes by more and more irregularities emerge.  It now it appears 25,000 Ballots were added to Maricopa County’s vote totals AFTER election dayA pattern we've seen over and over again, and when this happens these ballots always.....always.....benefit Democrats.  Now, unless this is being caused by Divine Intervention, or Scotty is beaming them down from the Starship Enterprise, this is blatant corruption of the system.

Where's the outrage?

Jack Gleason notes in his American Thinker article, Fox News MIA on Lake lawsuit:

“Fair, Balanced and Unafraid” is now a distant memory. Whatever the cause, considering the Fox News Channel to be a name to trust is a complete waste of time. The fix is in. Fox News reports on what they are told, not what is important for the country. This includes the most popular shows in the evening, Jesse Waters, Tucker Carlson, Shawn Hannity, and Laura Ingraham. All four still appear to be fighting for our country, but only on approved stories. The silence is deafening, and indicative of controlled opposition.

As for the Republican leadership: Uniparty hero Ronna McFailure urges conservatives to accept the political advice that destroyed Arizona.  One has to wonder if these people are sane.

Will Kari Lake Prevail in Her Election Lawsuit?

Election contests are never easy, and this one is no exception.  The claims made here are serious.  The evidence already gathered and compiled is substantial, with more undoubtedly being gathered every day.  The parties will slug it out in court.  Arizona is not the Wild West anymore, but this litigation is about as close to the gunfight at the OK Corral as we are likely to get in these times.  Stay tuned.

But one thing is clear, Kari Lake has a backbone of steel, a condition that may become contagious among other Republicans, starting an uprising that could become a national tidal wave.

Imagine that!

The Left is Using Lawfare Including Threats of Prosecution to Ignore Massive Voter Disenfranchisement

Rachel Alexander Rachel Alexander Dec 05, 2022

We are living in an unprecedented era, where the left has now mastered voter disenfranchisement and suppression, largely by controlling the legal system where statutory violations and crimes normally would be stopped. Instead, the left comes up with excuses to explain away every anomaly, even though the statistical odds of all of them taking place — almost exclusively hurting Republicans — are unbelievable. Of the 70-plus vote centers in Maricopa County that were plagued by bizarre printing problems affecting people’s ability to vote, almost every one was located in an extremely Republican area, averaging more than 300 percent more Republicans than Democrats.

The reports that have come out regarding Arizonans unable to vote are lengthy, clearly not just a few people but hundreds and likely thousands. The Election Integrity Network published a long list compiled from merely 96 people as well as GOP observer attorneys, and what they witnessed was horrific. One voter, who could not find parking quickly due to the long lines, showed up barely after the polls closed and was not allowed to vote, with police escorting him off the property.

Republicans have started filing election lawsuits over the strange outcome in Arizona, since no one believes that the top Trump-endorsed slate of candidates who were almost all leading in MSM polls lost.  But the left is already ahead of the lawsuits, filing bar complaints against conservative election attorneys. The scary 65 Project, which basically seeks to stamp out conservatives from the practice of law, has been selectively filing ethics complaints against these attorneys. Since state bars are almost all controlled by the left, and many states have mandatory state bars, it’s a no-brainer way to push through an illegal agenda like rubber stamping voter disenfranchisement.

The 65 Project is all over conservative election attorneys in Arizona. I’m the former Maricopa County Elections attorney, and it’s like a who’s who list of my colleagues in Arizona. Recent state bar complaints have been filed against Alex Kolodin, Dennis Wilenchik and his son Jack Wilenchik,  Lee Miller, David Spilsbury, Christopher Viskovic and Kurt Olsen, who’s been heavily involved in Arizona litigation including representing Kari Lake. ..............To Read More.....

Arizona Voter Fraud

By Rich Kozlovich

As this election played out it was clear voter fraud was once again running rampant all over the nation, but this time there's a lot kick back, and one of the biggest kickers is Kari Lake of Arizona, who is confident she ‘will become governor’ after attorney general launches inquiry into Maricopa’s shenanigans, and I think she's right.  I think voter fraud is going to be proven, and I think a lot of Arizonans agree.

Mohave County Delays Certifying Arizona Election Results in Protest Mohave was the second Arizona county to delay certifying the election results, following Cochise County, which made its decision on Friday. However, unlike Mohave, the board of supervisors there did not promise to certify the result by the deadline.

And it appears there are three counties refusing to certify what they're calling "tainted" results.   We'll come back to that.

The fact is, Arizona's numbers don't add up, and what we find is Arizona voted strongly for Republican Congressional candidates and yet voted for Democrats for statewide offices, and the numbers are screwy.  So, do we really believe that's normal?  Make sure to follow the link to see the analysis.

So I did some analysis myself.  I kept wondering why is it always about Maricopa county, and now I know.  There are 7.276 million people living in Arizona.  Only 1.625 million live in Phoenix, which is in Maricopa county, but that's deceptive.  When all the cities and towns of Maricopa country are  counted, there 4.497 million living in Maricopa county, leaving only 2,779 million in the rest of the state.  So, if Maricopa county's vote count can be corrupted, there aren't sufficient numbers in the rest of the state to offset them.

This challenge by Kari Lake is much bigger than I realized, and can potentially overturn the entire political structure of Arizona, including the corrupt RINO McCain cabal, and potentially an impetus for this kind of action in the rest of the nation.

Do we really believe Pennsylvania voted for Fetterman?  Election officials took 6-hour 'detour' into closed building DURING ballot counting:

Ballot counting machines that won't count ballots. Hundreds of millions of dollars handed out, outside the election financing oversight system, to mostly left-leaning local election officials.  American elections in recent years have seen a wide range of behaviors that give the appearance of bias, and may have been illegal..............Poll watchers were banned.

Will this demand for election integrity spread?  We'll see, but if this isn't rooted out before 2024, there may never be a legitimate election in America again, and if that's the case, America will completely fall into the hands of those who are totally dedicated to hating and destroying America.

What’s the matter with Arizona?

November 11, 2022 by Scott Johnson in 2022 Election

I developed a healthy respect for attorney John A. “Jack” Clifford many years ago when we represented adverse parties in an intellectual property dispute. Jack is of counsel with Merchant & Gould. P.C. He sends us this first-hand report under the heading WHAT IS WRONG WITH MARICOPA COUNTY? PLENTY AND IT’S COMPLICATED. The AP’s latest story on the doings in Arizona is here. Jack writes:

I hope you are well. I write from Maricopa County, Arizona, where I have lived, worked and voted since 2014. I write as an individual and not on behalf of any client or my law firm.

First, Maricopa county is huge. The entire state of Arizona has only 10 or 11 counties, compared to a similar-sized Minnesota with 87 counties. You can drive an hour at 70 miles an hour in about any direction to get to the county line, or so it seems. For reasons that are not clear (I think convenience is the excuse), any registered voter can cast an in-person vote anywhere in the county. That sounds great until you realize that because of local school boards, water boards, and other local issues on the ballot this time not all voters have the same ballot...........To Read More....

Round-Up: Election Night Follies

By Robyn Dolgin November 15, 2022

Kari Lake is one of the few GOP candidates who dares to question the integrity of the electoral process. She was not holding back her invective, as a gubernatorial candidate in Arizona, against the “irregularities and gross incompetence” in her state: Her constituents shared in her concerns about the fairness of the election owing to the flood of mail-in ballots and the “operational malfunction” of electoral machines in Maricopa County.

It’s only a secret to CNN (and its media counterparts) that her constituents do not trust the electoral process in their state. “They’re the people who showed up on election day,” she said in an interview with Tucker Carlson on Fox News. “They’re the people, 275,000 of them… who brought their ballot to polls on election day because they don’t trust the mail and they don’t trust the drop boxes.”.......To Read More...
