Let Me Tell You About Joe Biden, Captain Eddie, and the Ekert Saga

By Rich Kozlovich

On September 1, 2023 Silvio Canto, Jr. published this piece, Thurmond denies knowing Biden in 1964, and did so because Joe Biden actually told the world he influenced Senator Strom Thurmond to vote in favor of the Civil Rights Act, and even some...... only some mind you .... Democrats were embarrassed by such a blatant lie, and when a lie can embarrass a Democrat, that's some lie.  As for the rest, especially the regime media; shrugged shoulders, rolled eyes, scornful laugh and, "what's the big deal".

Oh yeah, just because that law was signed in 1964, and Joe Biden didn't worm his way into Washington until 1972 you're just being picky, picky, picky!  What's a measly eight years?

Well, that article generated thoughts by a lot of regular commenters to American Thinker articles, and some kinda thought it really was a big deal, and they said all sorts of unpleasant things about poor old and demented Joe, so I thought someone needed to set them straight.  So, I commented:

Okay, so that was in reality a bit of snarky sarcasm, and not a real defense of Ole Joe.  However as the comments progressed it led me to my favorite comic strip, Non Sequitur,  with one of my favorite characters, Captain Eddie.  A character notorious for the telling of tall tales.

Captain Eddie's New Boat:'The insurance company laughed last year when I insisted on adding Kraken coverage.'

That led me to the Ekert Saga.  The Ekert feeds on the negative qualities, and so, with all the negative qualities consumed, that leaves contentment, integrity and honesty.   Which means the Anti-Ekert must be found, because the government fears contentment, but it does love fear mongering, so if the Ekert and the Anti-Ekert ever meet the universe will be destroyed.  Therefore, the Ekert must be hidden somewhere where it can't get out to prevent that doom from occurring.  Kinda like sequestering CO2.

The Ekert Saga: 'Tell us about the anti-Ekert, Captain Eddie.'

As you peruse that strip, it can't help but remind you of all the insane unending leftist scare mongering, especially regarding climate change that's bound to lead to our doom and destruction, and just as wacky as the Ekert Saga, which is the point of that series.

I also really like the Danae character.  Since it's clear Anthropogenic Global Warming, since changed to Anthropogenic Climate Change because in spite of the increased levels of CO2 hasn't warmed the planet, and all the predictions of doom have failed, and the world is in what they're calling a warming "pause", scientific integrity has been exposed as a huge oxymoron.

Scientific Research: '...The motto of science is to expect the unexpected...now be quiet. I'm trying to work.'

 Enjoy!
