I never really expected to be doing this blog this long. I started P&D in 2007 and I did it primarily to post my own articles in order to link them to my e-newsletter, Green Notes, which I sent out to those involved with the pest control industry. Initially I wanted it to be a "green only" blog defending our industry against all the junk science and out right lies about pesticides, and more.
As time went by I realized I couldn't do "green" without doing "left", and changed P&D from a green only blog to a pro humanity blog, since it became clear the green movement was irrational, misanthropic and morally defective, and nothing more than a scion of leftism, and after the fall of the Soviet Union, the spear point for imposing world wide socialism on humanity.
That started a whole new blog life. As I said, this effort, that's become a not for profit passion, didn't start out to go as long as it has, and unfortunately, I foolishly didn't start tagging my posts until 2016. So, I've been going back and tagging everything. I'm finding that to be a stunningly boring and monumentally time consuming task. However, I keep coming across some really good stuff, in this case, it's from 2015, as in this December 29, 2015 piece by Douglas Ernst, "Prof to all white Americans: Admit your 'racist poison, Your Comfort is linked to our pain and suffering. saying:
A college professor has taken to the New York Times to implore “white America” to go to “war” with itself over its alleged racism. Professor George Yancy of Emory University published “Dear White America” as a “gift” for white people. His challenge: “White America, are you prepared to be at war with yourself, your white identity, your white power, your white privilege?” Yancy, a black professor, told Times readers Dec. 24 that, just as he considers himself sexist, all white people should admit to possessing latent racism. “I can see your anger. I can see that this letter is being misunderstood. This letter is not asking you to feel bad about yourself, to wallow in guilt. That is too easy. I’m asking for you to tarry, to linger, with the ways in which you perpetuate a racist society, the ways in which you are racist,” said Yancy.
The first question we should be asking is: How did this lunatic ever get a teaching job at any university? The second question we should be asking is: Is he representative of American academia? The answer is Yes to the latter....and that explains how he got his job.
Violence and crime, illegitimacy and bad attitudes permeate black society. Why would anyone think that was acceptable? Why would anyone want to associate with any group who acted in such a manner?
