National Debt Passes $30 Trillion

Our national debt doesn't get any better, it just becomes more frighteningly catastrophic.  Worse still, while there have been moments and periods when we briefly took the problem seriously, at least gave lip service to it, the last time that seemed to happen was around the Tea Party movement. Since then we've rushed headlong into insane spending with zero accountability. The Left has embraced Modern Monetary Theory, which is convinced that we can print infinite amounts of money without causing inflation, and elements on the far right would like conservatives to create their own welfare state. Never mind that we're going broke.  But it's all just numbers............1 comment

Facebook Banned Anti-Lockdown Protests, Allows Human Smuggling

Early on in the pandemic lockdowns, before BLM destroyed the ban on protesting with its hypocrisy, lockdown protests resulted in arrests (a violation of the First Amendment that, like Cuomo's targeting Jews, and Newsom's targeting of churches, has yet to be addressed). Whoopi Goldberg encapsulated the idiocy and ignorance of critical race theory when she insisted that the Holocaust wasn't about racism because she assumed that the Germans couldn't tell the Jews apart because they were both "white".  Never mind that the Nazis didn't think so and that Jews were a recognizably distinct population..........The Rwanda massacres happened between the Hutu and the Tutsis, both "black" in Whoopi's worldview, but who saw themselves as members of different races, and who were able to recognize, hunt, and kill each other...............3 comments

Biden Admin Only Told Staff to Evacuate As Taliban Took Kabul

How badly did the Biden administration mishandle the Afghanistan debacle?............Is it any wonder that the Biden admin evacuated a lot of Afghans who didn't have visas, and then retroactively falsely claimed that they had been vetted?.............What Axios doesn't mention though is that the Taliban asked for permission to enter Kabul.  The Biden administration was offered the opportunity to retain Kabul for the evacuation and turned it down. So these last minute meetings were on a timetable that they accepted. That is to say that the only rush here was self-inflicted. ..........1 comment

BLM Finally Went Too Far. It Didn't File Paperwork

 

Burn a bunch of cities, that's fine. But don't file your paperwork and that's crossing the line.  Obviously, all of this is egregious and there are tens of millions of dollars in play here, but I wouldn't have thought that California's one-party ruling elite would actually come down on the Black Lives Matter Global Network for anything short of... well anything.  But failing to file paperwork is still the greatest crime in a great bureaucracy.............So there's no longer a functional organization or affiliated chapters. Retaining historical facts can be a challenge. It's especially a challenge these days when search engines work to exclude historical facts and promote a simplistic narrative based around basic talking points and familiar brands. One of those brands is Amnesty International which has now come out with an antisemitic report attacking Israel. Everyone knows the brand, "Amnesty International". Recall that Roseanne Barr, a Jewish woman, who created the eponymous hit ABC sitcom, was forced out of her show which was retitled, because she criticized Valerie Jarrett in a way that the lefty cancel culture types decided was racist. Whoopi Goldberg can describe the Holocaust as “white people doing it to white people. So, this is y'all go fight amongst yourselves” and she gets to go on Colbert and wave it away.  But then, as I've repeatedly said, no one in Hollywood ever gets canceled over antisemitism. I know people are excited about a Hillary Clinton comeback taking all the attention away from the next COVID variant. Given a choice between Hillary Clinton and Zeta or Omega, 63% of Americans would choose Zeta (not an actual statistic.) But given a choice between Biden and Hillary Clinton, a majority of Democrats would choose Hillary.........The only question is will they vote for a brain-dead candidate or a charisma-dead candidate.......5 comments
