Hysteria breaking out among the warmists at the Department of Energy

The global warming con may finally be facing a true reckoning.  For many years, the warmists have behaved as if they are hiding something, as the Climategate emails, among many other signs, revealed.  But so long as the greedy and power-hungry pols, lusting after taxation and regulation of all human activity via carbon taxes, could be reinforced by cowards afraid to buck the so-called scientific consensus (that doesn’t really exist) everything could remain hunky-dory. While meeting with Al Gore calmed some warmist nerves, the actions of the Trump transition team at the Department of Energy are eliciting hysteria.  Darius Dixon of Politico reports:

"The president-elect’s team sought the information as part of a 74-point questionnaire that also asked for details about how DOE’s statistical arm, the Energy Information Administration, does the math on issues such as the cost-effectiveness of wind and solar power versus fossil fuels." .....More

My Take - As the author notes there's nothing unreasonable in these requests and in point of fact these evaluations are required by law.   The bureaucrats call this a witch hunt because they not only want to know how they arrived at their figures - they want to know who did the figuring. One Congressman called this "environmental McCarthyism" and demanded the new administration stop trying to intimidate Energy Department employees from carrying out Obama's global warming initiatives.  Dumb as dirt!  Clearly qualified to be a member of the Club For the Galacticly Stupid. 

I might add that McCarthy - as strange as he was - was also right as proven by the VENONA intercepts.  The federal government was rife with Soviet spies, communists and fellow travelers.  If this is "environmental McCarthyism" then I say we must be on the right track. 

One more point.  Name one Hollywood communist destroyed by McCarthy.  There are none.  That was done by the House on Un-American Activities.....run by the Democrats. 

One more one more point - these Hollywood characters really were communists and by that time anyone who remained a member of the party was required to spy for Joe Stalin.  The reason why so many left the party was because they saw what was going on and didn't like it.  But they "knew" what their friends were up to.  Maybe not the details, but they understood the concept of their activities.
