The Left's War With Reality With Erick Erickson

ISIS Is Islamic and Bruce Jenner is a Man -  “France has done more damage to ISIS in one day than Barack Obama, a man who thinks Bruce Jenner is a woman and ISIS is not Islamic, has done in months of alleged conflict.” When ISIS tells us that they are Islamic, the American left says they are not. When ISIS tells us that they are Islamic, the American left says they are not. Though ISIS self-identifies as Islamic, the American left rejects that identification.  When Bruce Jenner says he is a woman now, the American left not only applauds him and starts referring to him as a she, but demands that everyone else do so at the risk of their livelihoods. Only a bigot would think a man with a penis is a man when he says he is a woman.  The left has an ongoing war with reality where, in their quest for utopia, they have decided to shut out truths contrary to their reality.   ISIS has certainly killed many muslims, but that makes them no less an Islamic group than the Protestants and Catholics who clashed in earlier centuries somehow made one or the other less Christian......

Barack Obama is an Enabler of Evil - He is not a damn fool. The press today is battering the President over being a damn fool. He is not. He is an enabler of evil. This is the man whose world view was shaped by an anti-American communist mentor. This is the man who has surrounded himself with anti-American academics and people who have never worked in the real world. This is the man who believes he must apologize for the United States. This is the man who supports infanticide......He believes in the righteousness of his cause, which is to fundamentally transform America — by making us weaker......

 

It’s All Very Harry Potter: It Which Must Not Be Named - My friend Ben Domenech has a very good read at the Daily Beast about radical Islam and the Democrats.  He points out that in their Saturday debate they could not even bring themselves to say its name. It’s like in Harry Potter, the Dark Lord is insistent that no one say his name. Here, the Democrats are just doing the bidding of evil by refusing to even acknowledge its existence.  Early on in the debate, moderator John Dickerson put a direct question to Clinton on the subject of radical Islam. Quoting Senator Marco Rubio’s opinion that the Paris attack showed clearly that “we are at war with radical Islam,” he asked whether Clinton agreed with that characterization.  “I don’t think we’re at war with Islam,” she responded. “I don’t think we are at war with all Muslims. I think we’re at war with jihadists who have…”  At which point Dickerson politely interrupted to point out that Rubio “didn’t say all Muslims. He just said radical Islam.”………Go read the whole thing.
