I know it's only Friday and I normally post this on Saturday, but, it's Window's 11 time, and my computer can't run Windows 11, so, today I'm shutting down and getting a new computer installed with Windows 11.  I will be taking it in to  have my computer guy transfer all the information into the new one.  I will be up and running by Tuesday, and I'm going to love the break.

In today's edition I have five pieces of my own, with one video by Victor Davis Hanson, and eighteen pieces by others.  I would really like to draw your attention to Joe Friedman's article on how Democrats make up rules and disobey court orders in order to hide the evidence of voter fraud during the 2020 election.  Again, Joe Biden did not win the 2020 election.

Break out the popcorn, it's gonna be interesting to watch the outcome of the Comey indictment, and make no mistake, Obama is up to his neck in the Russiagate scandal.  Will Comey try to deal and sell out his co-conspirators?  We'll see.

BLOW ME DOWN - POPEYE – Zazoo Fine Art Gallery
As for my usual monologue which would appear here,....well...., Popeye and I have a lot in common, "I've had all I can stands, I can't stands no more!"

Best wishes, and have a great weekend.

Democrats Defy Court Order

Contempt results in a $10,000 penalty — PER DAY!

By Joe Fried CPA Sep 25, 2025 @ Joe Fried CPA Election Central

Democrats are defying Georgia law and a standing court order.

Like Nancy Pelosi, who refused to seat Reps. Jim Jordan and Jim Banks on the January 6th committee, Fulton County Democrats are refusing to seat two Republicans on the Fulton County Elections Board. This lawless action is in direct violation of a Fulton election ordinance:

Two members shall be appointed by the governing authority of Fulton County from nominations made by the chairperson of the county executive committee of the political party whose candidates received the second largest number of such votes [14-33].

Under this legal standard, the Republican Party is entitled to nominate two members to serve on the Board. The two candidates, nominated by the GOP several months ago, are Julie Adams and Jason Frazier. They have yet to be seated.

This issue has been adjudicated in a courtroom, and the Democrats were found guilty of violating election law. On August 3, Superior Court Judge David Emerson ruled that Fulton County is required to seat the two Republican nominees. Because they refused, Judge Emerson ruled (August 27) that the Fulton County Board of Commissioners was in contempt of court, and was required to pay $10,000 per day until the two Republicans are seated. In the words of Judge Emerson, this matter is clear-cut:

I didn’t see anywhere in that legislation that the commission was given veto power over the nominees. Is it in there, did I miss it?

A few days later the Judge temporarily stayed the penalty because Democrats claim they will file an appeal. If they do, that appeal will fail. The absurd rationalization of the Democrats

Fulton County Democrats have justified their lawbreaking with this argument: Adams and Frazier are “election deniers.” Democrats are upset with nominee Julie Adams because she did not vote to certify the 2020 election when she previously was on the Board. In the case of Jason Frazier, his sin was challenging (successfully) many ineligible voter registrations. There are two problems with the Democrat argument:

Being a so-called election denier, even if true, is totally irrelevant to the law. The GOP has a right to have its nominees seated.

Adams and Frazier were, in fact, not election deniers. Indeed, their criticisms were understated. In my opinion, the 2020 election should not have been certified, and the Fulton County administration should have been investigated for fraud.

An analysis of the facts shows that the Democrat obstructionists are simply “truth deniers.”

Joe Biden did not win the 2020 Georgia election

1. To this day, ultra blue Fulton Co. has provided zero support for 17,852 of its 2020 election ballots. Perhaps it can’t. Prominent Berkeley statistician Philip B. Stark examined Fulton Co. election records in connection with his testimony in a federal lawsuit. According to his sworn declaration (p. 105 of 209), “...of the 527,925 cast vote records: 17,852 image files are missing.” Keep in mind that Biden won (supposedly) by less than 11,800 votes.

2. Between the 2016 and 2020 elections, Georgia experienced the sharpest decline in absentee ballot rejection rates of any state in the country. If the 2016 rejection rate had been applied to the 2020 absentee ballot rate, there would have been 78,000 fewer votes (mostly Democrat votes). Again, Biden’s “victory” margin was less than 11,800.

3. Now consider rejection rates at the county level. Fulton Co. is the largest and most Democrat county in the state. For some very strange reason, its rejection rate was only 1/7th as high as the rest of Georgia. As an experienced CPA and auditor, I performed a statistical analysis of the probability of Fulton Co. being so much lower than the state as a whole, so much lower than other large counties with similar per capita earnings, and so much lower than other counties with similar demographics. No matter how I prepared the analysis, the statistical probability was less than ONE IN ONE BILLION.

4. About 3 years after the election we learned why the Fulton Co. ballot rejection rate was lower than that of the rest of the state: Signatures were never checked. In April, 2024, Mark Wingate, a member of the 2020 Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections, made the following statement under oath:

I asked (Fulton Co. election personnel), ‘What did we do for signature verification?’ And the comment I got back frankly floored me, ‘We didn’t do any.’

5. Wingate also identified another major problem:

“I and other Board members had requested that we obtain the chain of custody documentation from the department and none of that was ever delivered.” The lack of chain of custody might explain how 17,852 ballots magically appeared out of nowhere.

6. Other elements of this illegal election have been identified by VoterGA, an experienced nonprofit watchdog organization staffed with qualified data analysts. Some of those elements (just for Fulton County) are 380,458 missing original in-person ballot images and 512,743 missing SHA files needed to authenticate each ballot (and required by Georgia law). None of those allegations has been refuted.

7. Perhaps the biggest cause for concern is the unyielding refusal of Fulton Co. to permit access to the ballots. In December 2020, 6 witnesses independently testified that many of the absentee ballots appeared to be fake: The ballots were supposedly mailed but had none of the folding creases required in order for the ballots to fit into envelopes. Also, they were on different paper and/or they had suspicious ink that appeared to be toner. As a result, the head of VoterGA, Garland Favorito, filed a lawsuit to obtain ballot access. After nearly 5 years of litigation, the ballots are no longer under court seal and Favorito has a right to inspect the ballots via a standard open records request. Without explanation, however, Fulton Co. refuses to give that access.

Conclusion

Democrats on the Fulton County Board of Commissioners claim that they can’t comply with a court order to seat nominated Republicans because those Republicans are “election deniers.” That begs the question: What is an “election denier? A good answer was provided by Bridget Thorne, a surviving Republican member on the Fulton County Board of Commissioners. She said this to her Democrat colleagues (video at 13:10):

What is an election denier? Election denier is anyone who wants integrity in our elections. By state law, we need to reconcile that the number of people voted equals the number of ballots cast. We do not obey that law.

My Adventure with Mensa

Critically Thinking about High IQ

John Droz Sep 26, 2025 @ Critically Thinking About Select Societal Issues

I’ve had an interesting — and somewhat revealing — relationship with Mensa and Mensa members. I’m sharing this brief version with you…

Mensa is an international organization of people who have high IQ. To join an individual has to score in the top 2% of a certified IQ test. I had done that and decided to try out the organization.

My hope was that:

  1. members would be interesting, engaging, critically thinking people
  2. who were actively involved in important societal issues (energy, healthcare, education, etc.), and
  3.  in creative ways.

So I applied, was accepted, started paying dues, and got their monthly magazine (Mensa Bulletin). I was assigned to the Syracuse, NY chapter.

I was disappointed in the magazine, as I found very few articles to be of interest. It seemed to me that many were vanity pieces about some obscure interest a particular member had. I saw very few that were constructively and creatively addressing societal issues.

I was unable to attend any Mensa Chapter meetings as the closest to me were 100± miles away. I did have a few phone chats with some members in my chapter, but they did not lead to anything productive.

After several months, I decided to take the initiative and sponsor a Mensa party at our lakefront home in the Adirondacks — a premier spot if I say so myself. (See a pix from our driveway, below. We were on a beautiful peninsula and had 465 feet of shoreline on Brantingham Lake, plus a nice boathouse.)

This did strike a chord as over 30 Mensa members showed up (many from a hundred miles away). Although I didn’t know any of them, most of them already knew other members. I arranged several things (boat rides, a great meal, etc.) to get people introduced and to socialize. We had a beautiful, fun Summer day, and the get-together lasted about 6 hours.

Unfortunately, the main reason for my taking a lot of time and trouble to do this did not pan out. I did not find a single person who met the three basic expectations I had (see above) for these highly intelligent people.

A few months later, I decided to stop paying dues, as this was not fruitful.

Some Lessons Learned —

Some of my takeaways from being a Mensa member are that high IQ does not assure that a person:

  1. is a critical thinker,
  2. has wisdom,
  3. is interesting,
  4. is a good communicator, etc., etc.

All in all, I’m glad I tried out this experiment, as (good scientists know this) even failed trials should be illuminating…

Great Moments in Supranational Government

To highlight preposterous examples of waste and malfeasance, I have three ongoing series:

Today, I have to create a new category. Because we’re going to cite an absurd example of lunacy by the European Commission. So our new series will be Great Moments in Supranational Governance. It involves Greece and agriculture subsidies, so you can automatically assume spectacular corruption and graft.  And you’d be right. Here are some excerpts from an exposé by Nick Squires for the U.K.-based Telegraph.

Greek farmers claimed to be growing bananas on the slopes of snow-covered mountains as part of a massive fraud costing the European Union tens of millions of euros. …The most creative scams included claiming subsidies for phantom flocks of sheep and goats, as well as for non-existent banana plantations on 9,570ft-high Mount Olympus, which is covered in snow for much of the year. …Landowners claimed subsidies for olive groves in a high-security military airport and for pastureland that extended into the sea. …

Government officials were allegedly complicit in the massive fraud, which has claimed the scalps of four ministers. The motivation appeared to have been securing votes in return for turning a blind eye to, or colluding in, the theft of EU funds. …In some cases, farmers claimed money for land and livestock that they did not own, while other cases involved people with no links to farming cashing in on the EU subsidies. …Police scrutinised more than 6,000 out of 800,000 applications and discovered that hundreds of farmers had misappropriated EU subsidies.

In other words, these amazing but disgusting examples of fraud were uncovered after investigating less than 1/10th of 1 percent of potential cases. So imagine how much more fraud actually exists? And I’m sure that similar types of fraud exist in other European Union nations.

Sadly, American taxpayers also get raped and pillaged by agriculture subsidies, with some of the worst examples being sugar (see here and here), milk (see here and here), and corn (see here, here, and here).

The only country that I know of with a sensible laissez-faire approach is New Zealand. They eliminated all their subsidies decades ago and now have have a thriving industry.

The European Union should do the same thing, as should the United States (meaning the Department of Agriculture should be abolished, as quickly as possible).

Victor Davis Hanson: Western Civilization Has Reached its Turning Point After Charlie Kirk’s Death

P&D Today, and The World as I See It!

History is Everything, and Everything is to be Questioned.

By Rich Kozlovich

Today's edition is a combination of yesterday and today, as I didn't publish a World as I See It, yesterday.  I have no commentaries of my own except the monologue below.  However, here are five really good pieces to provoke thought.

  1. "If You Like Your Doctor, You Will Be Able to Keep Your Doctor, Period" By Susan Daniels
  2. Did Anyone Ever Believe Men Could Become Women? By Daniel Greenfield
  3. Amazon and eBay Sell Merch Calling for Trump’s Death  By Daniel Greenfield
  4. Around the World in Five Minutes By Robin Itzler
  5. Part I: Yes, Taxes Change Behavior By Dan Mitchell

Now, For The World as I See It!

On March 3, 2025 I published The Rape of Civilization, with the above cartoon, and Blogger deleted it.  Between January and April they deleted nine posts, all of which I've been protesting ever since.  Before this they reinstated one a couple of months ago, and they've also reinstated this one from March 26, 2025, Islam is Destroying Western Culture: Europe, and now I'm down to five that are still deleted, although the first one is still listed as deleted... go figure.  At any rate....how's that for progress?  And it only took a mere six months.  Imagine that, kinda like government work.

If you ever wondered if leftism is a mental disorder, try rationalizing this, a trans Muslim Antifa protested outside of Charlie Kirk's funeral, and why would a mentally sane judge let a  Muslim, who slashed a man for blasphemy, walk free?  Then there's the Michigan school board who punished an 11 year old boy who prevented a possible school shooting, in effect America is raising children to be "passive, not principled. We don’t reward bravery; we penalize it. We don’t teach judgment; we outlaw it. And then we wonder why the next generation hesitates when life demands courage."

Six year ago Trump gave a speech at the UN and they laughed at him. He gave a speech at the UN this week excoriating them for their failed open borders "experiments" which is destroying western civilization, trashed them for pushing their global warming hoax, and their green agenda in general, outlined their list of failures, and they're not laughing.  They've learned it's not nice to start a war with Donald Trump, and they now know for sure, we don't need them, we don't care what they think, and we're not going to bail them out any longer, and truth be told, Trump telling them to stick it, along with their lackeys here in America, is exactly what conservative voters wanted said.

The Mayor of Londonistan Sadiq Khan says ..... watch out now... here is comes.... says "he is racist, he is sexist, he is misogynistic, and he is Islamophobic"!  Wow, imagine that.  I'm shocked, shocked I tell you.  Who could have expected that?

If there ever was evidence of just how stupid these European leaders are, then the UK's Prime Minister Keir Starmer would be a prime example.  After his far left Labour government decided to recognize a Palestinian state, they demanded $2.7 Trillion in reparations, which they think is a "good place to start", and why not.  When you deal with a "cringing appeaser", why let up, and they won't.

Talking about lawsuits, here's one that's long overdue.   Students sue 32 universities for inflating tuition.  This is a case of "it seemed like at good idea at the time" when the federal government created the student loan program, which is anwith students owing ten of thousand of dollars, some in the six figures, and many graduating with degrees that will never earn them enough money to pay it back easily, and for some, not at all so they're defaulting on those loans.

As of the first half of this year over five million borrowers were in default, and another six million are significantly behind on their payments with that number escalating to over ten million by years end.  How did this happen?  First, as soon as these students got their money, the colleges raised prices, way beyond costs or inflation.  Second, they promoted many degrees that were for the most part worthless, all the while claiming these degrees were these students pathway to financial success.  These student loans are defrauding America, and now it's coming home to roost.

These universities have tax free endowments that are worth billions, and I think it's time those endowments eat the payback of those loans to the federal government though taxation and/or penalties.   If it's fraud on the part of the colleges, and I think it is, that's a crime.

Russia is playing chicken with NATO with their overflights into NATO controlled air space, seemingly as a show of strength and intimidation.  It's neither.  Poland and other NATO countries are now militarizing up against Russia, and these overflights aren't a show of strength, it shows weakness and panic, in hopes of getting a better negotiating position.  That's lost now, Trump who thought he had a great relationship with Putin, and was catering to him, has learned Putin is Russian, and nothing he says can be trusted.  He should have asked me, I could see what he was doing. That's been the trend with Russian leadership from Stalin onward.  Now, Trump's really ticked off at him, and while I never thought I would say this, Ukraine may now win this war and take back all the territory Russia has confiscated, and possibly even the Crimea.

Russia's economy is in deep trouble.  Their demographic pyramid is a mess, he can't man his military or his industry so he's importing men from N. Korean and China to fill in his military ranks, and he's still being decimated.  He's importing people from Central Asia and the Middle East to meet his industrial manpower needs, which is a poison demographic and cultural pill that will come back to haunt them.... and in the near future.

Ukraine is now equipped with smart missiles that are striking deep inside Russia, specifically targeting Russian oil and energy installations, and it appears the west, including Trump, is going to support Ukraine now more fully.    As I see it Russia's only way out of this mess is for Putin to be overthrown and replaced with an entirely new power structure that walks away from this mess, as the Soviets did during WWI against Germany, putting the entire blame on Putin and his cabal, and then putting them on public trial, finding them guilty, and ultimately executing him for wasting the lives of hundreds of thousands of young Russian men, and destroying hundreds of thousands more.   Failed leaders don't fare well in Russia.

One final thought.  Zohran Mamdani wants to spend a mere $100 million dollars on increased services for illegal aliens.  And while polls show he's a shoo in to be elected and has been anointed by the left and the media, I think polls are a lot of horsepucky.

Does it occur to anyone not many New York Democrats voted in the primaries?  And when you look at NYC demographics I think we might find there's not as much support for him as is being touted.

Of course you can't beat someone with no one, among the three running against him there are two defrocked "stupid and incompetent" Democrats and a Republican wth the party pretty much sitting on its hands, which pretty much eliminates Curtis Sliwa.  However,  as stupid and incompetent as Cuomo and Adams have been,  NYC just might decide a "stupid and incompetent" Cuomo or Adams is better than a "disaster and treason" Mamdani.

Have a good day!

From around the Nation:

The midterm elections are already so heated it's hard to believe they're not until November of 2026, and not November of 2025.   Given the insane things Democrats are saying one has to wonder what the future of the Democrat party is when the leading potential Democrat candidates for the 2028 Presidential election are Kamala Harris, AOC, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker, California Governor Gavin Newsom, and a number of others, all of whom are now pro-crime and pro-illegal immigration, anti-science candidates, and all the Democrat candidates for the Congress support their positions in lockstep.   A power hungry party that shows it's unfit to run a constitutional republic.

They've lost in a big way the solid Democrat base that was the backbone of the Democrat party for decades, blue collar workers, minorities, and especially the most dedicated Democrats of them all, Jews.  Many of which are abandoning the Democrat party either becoming Republicans, Independents, or simply not Democrats.

Arizona Gubernatorial Race If you believe that in 2022 Arizona Democrat Governor Katie Hobbs narrowly defeated Republican Kari Lake 50.3 percent to 49.7 percent, we’d like to sell you a vacation home at the Ukraine/Russia border. Looking ahead to 2026, currently there are two Republicans vying to run against the docile Hobbs: U.S. House Representative Andy Biggs and attorney and former member of the Arizona Board of Regents Karrin Taylor Robson. BOTH Republicans have been endorsed by President Trump.

But wait, there’s more! U.S. House Representative David Schweikert is considering a run for Arizona governor. Keep your popcorn handy!

Minnesota : Those who think Tim “China” Walz would have made a great vice president, will be pleased that he is going to run for a third term as governor. (Insert barf bag here.) Walz is rumored to be considering a presidential run in 2028. (Sorry, out of barf bags.) Walz is a lunatic. Our main complaint is that he uses his dog Scout in campaign promos.

Tennessee: Unlike the mentally challenged Democrat governors, Republican Governor Bill Lee welcomes the federal government’s help in reducing crime in one of his cities. In this case, Democrat controlled Memphis. The “Memphis SAFE Task Force," is a multi-agency effort to help make the city livable again.

Events from around the globe

United Nations: It shouldn’t surprise anyone that 141 members of the antisemitic, anti-America United Nations’ General Assembly voted to destroy Israel. Officially, it was a vote to support a suicidal two-state solution. How many of these governments would want Hamas and Hezbollah living next to them? Hmmm, when else has the word “solution” been used with regards to Jews? Let’s open our history books, shall we? The Nazis also had a “solution” to an issue affecting Jews. The 10 nations that voted no are: - Argentina - Palau - Hungary - Papua New Guinea - Israel - Paraguay - Micronesia - Tonga - Nauru - United States

Britain: The weekend following Charlie Kirk’s assassination, there were rallies throughout the world—to celebrate Kirk’s life and demand freedom. Thousands of people came out in London, some outlets reporting close to one million. Proudly carrying their flags they demanded that the leftist government make Great Britain Great Again.

In Britain, the Kirk rally and many others are under the theme of “Unite the Kingdom.” Led by Tommy Robinson, the British people are mad as hell and not going to take it anymore with attacks on free speech and putting out welcome mats for Middle Eastern immigrants who do not want to assimilate. This is happening in a nation whose Secretary of State for the Home Department is Shabana Mahmood.

Demonstrators carried the Union flag and the red and white St George’s Cross of England, while others waved United States and Israel flags. There were also signs, hats and flags for our MAGA movement.

The voting age in Britain is now sixteen.  Sixteen-year-olds living in the United Kingdom cannot legally drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes or drive a car. But they will be able to help elect the next British prime minister after the country lowered its voting age from 18 to 16.

It will bring England and Northern Ireland in line with Scotland and Wales, where 16-year-olds can already vote in devolved national elections. The change is due to take effect by the next general election, which is expected by 2029. There won’t be much of a United Kingdom left if they keep their current awful liberal prime minister Keir Starmer until then.

Did Anyone Ever Believe Men Could Become Women?

By Daniel Greenfield@ Sultan Knish Blog

Did anyone ever really believe that men could become women? ‘Tipping Point’ author Malcolm Gladwell helped answer that question when he recently apologized for publicly asserting that men could change sex and fairly compete against women in sports because he was “cowed”.

No one bothered to follow up with the more interesting question, ‘What is Malcolm still too cowed to say in public’? It’s a question that also ought to be addressed to the various public figures, politicians, intellectuals and talkers, who have recanted the transgender heresy.

We know that they claimed to believe in one obviously wrong thing because of some combination of social pressure, manufactured consensus and intellectual incoherence.

What else do they hypocritically assert in public while privately doubting?

The intellectual crisis that led to Gladwell publicly asserting something that a small child, never mind a respected thinker, knew was wrong has its roots in the dual collapse of the western mind. Every preexisting moral and rational system, whether the Judeo-Christian ethos or the scientific method, is being dismantled as reactionary and is in the process of being replaced with the moral imperative of a revolutionary power shift from the oppressed to the oppressors.

This permanent state of moral emergency may not be questioned and its specific assertions are not subject to any of the religious or rational tests that once provided people with a consistent worldview based around clear principles rather than hysterical assertions that the crisis of the moment, ‘trans kids’, global warming, police shootings, Gaza or any of a grab bag of causes, is too grave to subject it to the rules of evidence in a search for the actual truth.

The Left claims that its various ideological flavors are rational and scientific, but they are nothing of the kind, instead they use ideology to pick and choose their science. That was why the Soviet Union could champion Lysenkoism and lock up actual scientists because the pseudoscience fit the Communist conception of how life should work. Not how it did work.

That is why skeptics are right to question environmentalist claims of human industry causing planetary destruction for matching all too closely with traditional leftist anti-capitalism, its luddite obsessions and the romanticization of the pre-industrial countryside, no matter how many PhDs assert that they represent expert opinion that just happens to match their politics.

The bizarre notion that men could become women by identifying as women fit a ‘Lysenkoist’ notion of human plasticity. There was and is nothing scientific to the entire thing. Doctors and researchers have brushed away past subjective claims of patient experiences with various medical conditions, even when those claims were later substantiated, chose to entirely discard basic biology here not because of any new data, but because ideology demanded it.

The transgender case rested on nothing more than special pleading, on long since discredited claims that ‘validating’ delusions about gender spectrums prevented suicides (and where else are doctors willing to prop up patient delusions, let alone perform highly risky unnecessary cosmetic procedures to validate those feelings) and its assertions about men being born with ‘female brains’ were the subject of feverish fantasies in online fetish groups, not research.

The ‘science’ of the transgender case lay not in its assertion of the positive, that men could become women, but in the negative, in its radical destruction of what (as part of this process) it dubbed the gender binary. The Left never really proves its points, rather it uses conspirational agitation, turning that which it seeks to destroy into a strawman, picks out-of-context pieces of information to poke holes in it, asserts conspiracy theories in which the strawman represents a broader systemic form of oppression and then politicizes the debate into a binary choice between supporting the victims or being one of the oppressors. That is what sucked Gladwell in and so many others liberals who fear being ‘on the wrong side of history’ more than a big lie.

Intellectuals and public figures who fell for an ideological case rather than a factual one and who confused ethics and morality with the tenets of leftist ideology rationalized the unreasonable and now that the case has collapsed have to rationalize why they did it.

Did anyone really believe that men could become women? It’s the same question as whether anyone really believed that redistribution of wealth by a centralized government could make society fair. They may not have believed that it was really true, but they believed that it was right. That is the tribute that liberals pay to leftists, agreeing to see the world not as it is, but as it can be made to be, and confusing their monstrous totalitarian delusions with idealism.

Modern liberals (rather than classical liberals) and leftists both share a belief in the overwhelming power of social transformation to make society ideal. The liberal border line used to be that the transformation had to be voluntary, rational and based on the realities of human nature. On the other side you had Marxism with its morass of conspiracy theories, hypothetical economics, tyrannical bureaucracies and grad student power fantasies. Liberals could accept socialism as long as its implementation was plausible and appeared to be voluntary.

The border line is long gone. As is for the most part any distinct liberal identity. The Democrats, a party of which liberals were once a fringe, base their plans for total social transformation on the same conspiracy theories, fantasy economics and power grabs that characterized Marxists. The only way such nonsense can hold up is with total ideological conformity. Shutting up opponents, whether timid liberals like Gladwell or vocal conservatives like Charlie Kirk, is the only way that any of what now passes for liberalism can continue to control the discourse.

Believing in a dozen impossible ideological things before breakfast is not a bug, it’s a test of the communications system. Extraordinary claims used to require extraordinary proof until it was reversed so that extraordinary claims like men can become women, there is no such thing as inflation unless companies choose to raise prices and the police are committing genocide against black people became overwhelmingly accepted by liberal institutions with no proof at all, only ideological emoting, while the existence of women, inflation and crime required extraordinary degrees of proof and were denounced as dangerous backward notions.

In 2024, Democrats lost an election built on all three of those arguments. The general public continued to believe in the existence of women, wanted police to protect them from criminals and refused to believe that inflation was a figment of their imagination or could be solved by blaming companies for raising prices. As consequential as each of these three issues are, encompassing economics, society and the rule of law, the lies are crucial for understanding the corruption of the intellectual class and their role in corrupting our discourse.

The nation’s intellectual class has been divided for the most part between radicals who will assert anything, such as that looting is a public good, that castrating children is best for them and that AI will soon bring us ‘fully-automated luxury communism’ so that no one will have to work, and timid liberals who will pretend to believe anything to keep their class and station.

Universities, publishing, nonprofits and the other venues for intellectuals have become echo chambers in which any ideologically correct absurdities, no matter how manifestly irrational, false and mad, can take hold, thrive and then be used as a purity test to purge heretics. They are venues where only liars, idiots and those who pretend to believe them can earn a living.

It can be hard to tell apart the liars from those only pretending to believe their lies, and both are easily confused with the idiots who may only be pretending to be idiots, but in the final analysis all three are members of a political class pretending to be an intellectual class. When a lie becomes sufficiently unpopular, the people who pretended to believe the liars apologize for that particular lie alone, rather than for the moral and intellectual failings that led to it.

What other lies do they only pretend to believe? We’ll never know until those lies become unpopular too. But transgender ideology offered the simplest possible common sense test to people who claim to be able to tackle the most challenging scientific, ethical and philosophical dilemmas. They failed. And the entire edifice of an intellectual class failed along with them.

"If You Like Your Doctor, You Will Be Able to Keep Your Doctor, Period"

And other lies from Barack Obama

By Susan Daniels Sep 23, 2025  @ Susan's Newsletter

“And if you like your insurance plan, you will keep it. No one will be able to take that away from you. It hasn’t happened yet. It won’t happen in the future,” Obama said on April 1, 2010. In 2013, NBC News reported “that the Obama administration knew ‘millions’ could not keep their health insurance.”

Obamacare (aka Affordable Care Act) will expire at the end of the year if it is not extended. It was a scam from the beginning, starting with the company that designed the program, CGI Federal.

CGI is the U.S. arm of a Canadian company, and Toni Townes-Whitley, Princeton classmate of Michelle Obama, is a senior vice president. Her company was awarded a “no-bid contract to build the $678 million Obamacare enrollment website.”

It was a disaster from the first day, October 1, 2013, when only six people were able to enroll. Obama tried to enroll but was unable because there was a problem with his social security number.

Another $150 million was pumped in to try to fix the problems and the government finally shut the company down four months later. Despite that fiasco, CGI was later awarded billions of dollars in other government contracts, including “an ongoing indefinite-quantity contract for the Department of Homeland Security and the Coast Guard.”

It is alleged that CGI donated $47 million to Obama’s reelection campaign in 2011.

White House Holiday Party 2010: Toni Townes-Whitley, her husband, John, and two grifters.

Illegals compose the largest number of uninsured individuals, with estimates between 45% to 71%. The law does not allow illegal aliens to be covered by Obamacare, but the Democrats use workarounds to beat the system with state-funded programs, emergency Medicaid, federally funded health centers, and off-exchange private plans.

“The number of undocumented immigrants receiving some form of healthcare or insurance is constantly changing, and there is no definitive total. However, reports from organizations like the Kaiser Family Foundation show that uninsured rates are significantly higher among undocumented immigrants compared to lawfully present immigrants and U.S. citizens.”

Other taxpayer benefits illegals get for free are SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, Emergency Medicaid and Full-Scope Medicaid (whatever that is).

“The cost of ‘Obamacare’ to the US is complex, but as of 2023, the federal government spent $1.6 trillion net on healthcare subsidies and programs under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and other initiatives.”

The plan was “substandard” from the start and forced people to accept it or pay a tax. The federal tax imposed on those who refused to join existed from 2013 until 2019; they were penalized at $695 for each adult and $347,50 for each child.

Democrats are demanding that Republicans extend the ACA as part of the threat to shut down the government. The subsidies have been extended twice, but now the Republicans are in charge, and many will gladly let them expire on September 30.

Let’s see which RINOs give in.

Amazon and eBay Sell Merch Calling for Trump’s Death

By Daniel Greenfield, @ Sultan Knish Blog

After Charlie Kirk’s murder, two Muslim men in Utah were arrested for planting an incendiary device under a FOX affiliate’s news van. The most striking thing about their house, as Front Page Magazine had reported, was that it appeared to be covered in anti-Trump signage.

Including a black flag reading, “Is He Dead Yet?”

“Is He Dead Yet” merchandise also made a recent appearance when a New York City public school teacher posted a photo of himself wearing that t-shirt and celebrated Charlie Kirk’s death.

In a famously sensitive era, where do you go to buy a “Is he dead yet?” t-shirt or flag? Anywhere as it turns out. Especially from those retailers that have relentlessly censored conservatives.

Amazon had censored everything from books against transgenderism and BLM to banning the sale of the Confederate flag (and even at one point pulling episodes of the Dukes of Hazzard) but you can get a “Is He Dead Yet” flag which the Amazon description openly bills as “an anti-Trump flag” making it clear that it’s not a reference to any other memes with that line.

(The actual Amazon seller is in Eastern Europe, so Amazon is helping a foreign national sell materials to Americans calling for the death of the President of the United States. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos also owns the Washington Post which spent a lot of time warning about foreign interference and foreign disinformation, but its owner actually profits nicely from it.)

Amazon also stocks mugs, t-shirts, stickers and bumper stickers with that phrase that specifically refer to Trump. One ‘Is He Dead Yet’ mug features various possible tombstones for President Trump including “Psycho”, “8647”, “Epstein’s Bestie” and “Rapist”. The same seller also sells Newsom memes including ‘Newsom Was Right About Everything’ merchandise.

Another seller features an orange toupee over the “He”. Others are mock MAGA hats. Some of the Chinese sellers pushing merchandise calling for Trump’s death also responded to Charlie Kirk’s murder by pushing merchandise commemorating his killing to conservatives. Nothing else could or should be expected from China, but it’s Amazon that bears the responsibility here.

So much so that Amazon appears to have paid for Google ads for “Is He Dead Yet”.

Amazon allowed all of this to proliferate on its platform even after two assassination attempts against President Trump and has taken no action to remove it and enforce its terms of service.

Etsy, which had relentlessly censored not only conservatives, but anything un-woke including Dr. Seuss merchandise (after he was deemed racist) and the slogan “I Love JK Rowling”, and recently once again rewrote its TOS to prohibit “degrading language” towards illegal aliens, is awash in every possible variety of Trump death merchandise including mock wine labels and a mug reading “Is He Dead Yet” with Trump’s signature as an EKG line from the ‘resistance’.

“RIP Trump postcards” feature a dead Trump with X’s over his eyes in clown makeup. “It won’t solve everything when he exits this mortal stage, but it will feel f*cking great,” the description reads. An ‘Anti-Trump’ wine label features a skull and the motto “open drink, dance on grave.” There are stickers with an orange toupee on a skull, a “we’ll be grateful when he’s dead” sticker of dancing skeletons, and a scented soy wax candle titled “Smells like his funeral”.

Unlike Amazon, which is dominated by Chinese third party seller spam, Etsy’s sellers are usually authentic American leftists and their products a genuine expression of partisan hatred.

Etsy knowingly allowed this climate of hate to proliferate on its platform in violation of its terms of service which ban “violent language” even while it was cracking down on anything that was in the slightest politically incorrect.

It’s not just Amazon and Etsy. “Is He Dead Yet” merchandise is commonplace on other giant online retail platforms like eBay, and across smaller merchandising sites.

While some of the “Is He Dead Yet” merchandise claims to come from America, the vast majority is being produced in Communist China.

The People’s Republic of China does not actually turn a blind eye toward what it mass produces. Merchandise critical of Xi or the PRC being produced in China is unthinkable and writers trying to get books critical of Communism printed in China have run into problems.

China’s mass production of merchandise calling for President Trump’s death or murder is a decision that would have been made at some point within the Communist Party bureaucracy which maintains extensive censorship over any kind of speech in the giant dictatorship.

And Chinese companies not only produce products celebrating Trump’s death for third parties, but Chinese companies are deeply immersed in the business of marketing these products on their largest retail platforms.

Temu, a Chinese Communist company, has a large selection of “Is He Dead Yet” merchandise specifically targeting Trump. Critics have pointed out that Temu “maintains documented connections to the Chinese Communist Party” meaning that the slogan is being promoted to Americans by a company linked to an enemy regime.

So this is not simply a decision by one Chinese retail platform to stock Trump death gear.

Shein, the second largest Chinese retail ‘fast fashion’ platform used by Americans, also lists “Is He Dead Yet” t-shirts explicitly referencing Trump. Alibaba, one of the world’s largest retailers, has “Is He Dead Yet” t-shirts listed on its AliExpress direct sales platform. “Is He Dead Yet” is not a Chinese information op, but China’s Communist system is happy to promote it.

As are Amazon, Etsy, eBay and other major retail giants that censor conservatives, but empower leftists to celebrate and call for the deaths of Trump and other conservatives.

Charlie Kirk’s murder was marinated in internet memes. These memes are promoted and enabled by a Big Tech system that practices two-tier content policing. The “Is He Dead Yet” merchandise is an example of the kinds of popular leftist memes that make the murder of conservatives into a knowingly hip joke that eventually leads to an assassin’s bullet.

The Left has traded debate and democracy for fantasizing about the deaths of its enemies.

And some leftists do more than fantasize. That is how a bullet clipped President Trump’s ear. It’s why Charlie Kirk is dead. Woke corporations pretend that they had nothing to do with it, but the moment you search their platforms, you find that they were actually profiting from the death cult.

Part I: Yes, Taxes Change Behavior

September 23, 2025 by Dan Mitchell @ International Liberty

From a big-picture economic perspective, I worry most about the damage of high tax burdens on innovation, entrepreneurship, and investment.

Those are things that generate enormous benefits for society, yet also things that are very sensitive to bad tax policy (specifically high marginal tax rates and the tax code’s bias against saving and investment).

Sadly, I don’t have first-hand experience to share when writing about these issues.

Today, however, I get to write about a tax issue that directly impacts me.

I’ve been living in the same Virginia house for more than 30 years. It’s now way more house than I need since my kids are now grown up and living elsewhere. I would like to sell my house and become a snowbird with two modest-sized residences in Virginia and Florida.

And that plan might be financially feasible since my house is now worth a lot more than it cost me back in 1993 (thanks in part to inflation, but also because successful “rent seeking” by the parasite class has resulted in ever-greater demand for housing in and around DC).

Yet I’m not going to sell my house. And the explanation is that I love my kids more than I love government. Or, to be more accurate, I love my kids and have disdain for government.

To elaborate, here are some excerpts from a Washington Post column by Jim Parrrott of the Urban Institute. He starts by explaining there is a problem in the housing market.

Homeownership is out of reach for many Americans, a situation driven primarily by a shortage of homes for sale that has driven up prices. One factor contributing to that scarcity: Older adults are staying put…, keeping millions of homes off the market. …As older Americans pay for excess space, younger families are stuck in homes too small for their needs. …That cohort’s delay in advancing from starter homes has spillover effects for renters looking to become first-time homeowners. In short, empty nesters’ economics are creating a market-wide logjam.

He then correctly notes that the problem is caused by taxes.

Under existing law, sellers owe capital gains taxes on home sale profits exceeding $250,000 for single filers and $500,000 for married couples filing jointly. Most homeowners 65 and older have held on to their homes for nearly a quarter-century, a period of remarkable price gains. …

Congress didn’t intend to saddle older homeowners with those costs. After lawmakers set capital gains exclusions to current levels in 1997, few sales resulted in federal tax liability. But they didn’t peg those limits to inflation or changes in home prices. So as prices shot up, the number of homeowners facing a federal tax bill upon selling increased as well. Today, a third of homeowners would owe federal taxes if they sold their home.

As a result, many seniors are choosing to remain in their homes until death so that their beneficiaries inherit the houses with a stepped-up tax basis, eliminating the taxable capital gains. This makes sense for their family’s finances but creates a mess in the housing market. …Raising the exclusion to around $500,000 for single homeowners and roughly $1 million for married homeowners would be sufficient to remove the tax barrier for all but the wealthiest seniors.

This column explains my situation.

If I stay in my home until death, my kids benefit from my home’s increased value. If I sell my house, politicians get a big chunk of the increased value.

Needless to say, that make my choice very simple. Especially since a non-trivial share of the gain is only due to inflation and it’s outrageous that the government taxes us on gains that only exist because the government has irresponsible monetary policy.

I’ll close by shifting the discussion from what’s best for me and my kids to what’s best for the country. The bottom line is that there should not be any capital gains tax. Not on me. Not on anyone.

Indeed, it will be much more important for prosperity to get rid of the capital gains tax on investors rather than homeowners.

P&D Today, and The World as I See It!

History is Everything, and Everything is to be Questioned.

By Rich Kozlovich

Today's edition offers six offerings for your perusal and I think they're pretty good, two are mine, Well, Kimmel's Back! Imagine That! and Cartoon Roundup: Freedom of Speech along with four others.    So.... enjoy!

  1. Tim Kaine: Senator or Slaugh? By Tom Budds
  2. Luigi’s Leftists Cheer As Judge Throws Out Terror Charges By Daniel Greenfield
  3. Joe Biden’s Time in the ‘Wide’ House (Satire) By Robin Itzler
  4. Trump’s Golden Visa, the 21st Theorem of Government, and Sensible Tax Policy By Dan Mitchell

Now, For The World as I See It!

Jasmine Crockett isn't the only lunatic working the crowds into a frenzy against law enforcement, the media is at the heart of it.  Governor Pritzker has consistently demonized law enforcement, and lo and behold, violence followed, imagine that.  Apparently he thinks that's a winning strategy to get elected President of the United States.  Mayor Johnson of Chicago says law enforcement is a sickness that doesn't make communities safer.
The Democrat party is morphing into a death cult just like the Manson family, a bunch of psychopaths who reveled in the murder of Sharon Tate, who was eight and a half months pregnant.

Former Weather Underground member, Bernadine Dohrn, who later became a law professor and wife of Barack Obama’s pal, Bill Ayres, said of the murders: “Dig it, first they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them, then they even shoved a fork into the pig Tate's stomach! Wild!"

They shoved a fork into the stomach of a pregnant woman who was eight and a half months pregnant and Obama's friends thought that was just great.   What kind of vile and perverted person thinks that way?  Well, now she's no longer the exception for the Democrat party, she's the rule, and we know what kind of vile and perverted people think that way.

We already know all these demonstrations and riots are not organic, they're being funded by billionaires, who must be insane.  Now  Oversight Chair James Comer and Rep Anna Paulina Luna are calling on Treasury Secretary Bessent to Freeze ALL ASSETS of Code Pink billionaire funder Neville Singham, and I'm guessing if that happens, it will spread to a number of these wealthy destructive financiers of America's destruction.  Will this go to the courts?  Of course, but no insurmountable obstacle was ever over come by being "reasonable".

Alicia Colon thinks if found guilty giving Charlie Kirk's assassin the death penalty
is a really bad idea because it will give the left a martyr to rally around.  I just really don’t understand this meme, “let’s not give the leftists ammunition”, in this case making him a leftist martyr. Does it really matter if he’s their martyr of the moment?  They will always find a martyr of the moment, and most of the time they’ve been criminals and thugs, one right after the other, ad nauseum.   Definition leads to clarity, so, let's define this properly.  Did he commit an act that justifies the death penalty? If the answer is yes, then everything else is horsepucky, and it’s clear the answer is yes, or this article would have never appeared.

Europe's economy is in trouble.  It's overtaxed, over regulated, incompetently controlled from the top down, and the reason why is Europe is functionally a socialist top down culture.  That’s their historical social paradigm. They all had kings, and whether the top down system is run by a monarch or a president is immaterial. The monarchs laid the foundation for their top down mentality, and make no mistake, American capitalist democracy is alien to them.

The only difference is they couldn’t easily dump the kings, but now they can change the president, but it really doesn’t matter since they keep voting in socialists of one ilk or the other, including the so-called conservatives of European politics.   Their solution is to go green, charge more taxes, add more regulations, keep spending money they don't have and can't recover, and more top down planning and control.  Angela Merkel insists the solution is more immigration, which means more welfare, more crime, less Europe.  The EU is doomed, it’s just a matter of time, and it's going to erupt violently.

Western nations are being led by suicidal lunatics. They've now decided  terrorists should be rewarded  for their atrocities by recognizing a Palestinian state, and if a nation like Italy refuses, their Muslim population riots.  France is the most insane as Muslims in France are demanding "self-determination, just like the Palestinians", and have made it clear “their goal is to kill Christian infidels.”

Recognizing a Palestinian state is the least of their concerns. France's economy is a mess, they're now having to replace their leadership again over cutting social services, much of which would be seriously limited if they weren't embracing all this immigration, legal and illegal, from N. Africa and the Middle East.

It's all stupid and it's virtue signalling, with the UK, Canada, Portugal and Australia all  joining that bandwagon, and six more getting ready to join them at the UN General Assembly, but they've been warned, Palestine today, Europe tomorrow.
  1. UN Assembly Endorses a 'New York Declaration - Body votes overwhelmingly to support 2-state solution for Israel, Palestinians
  2. Rewarding Terror: Israel slams UK, Canada, Australia for recognizing 'State of Palestine
  3. Netanyahu: ‘There Will Be No Palestinian State to the West of the Jordan River
Trump says, it really doesn't matter what they think, and I agree, but we'd better worry about what's happening in America.
  1.  You are not welcome here,' said the Muslim to the Christian … in Michigan
  2.  Gunman Shouting ‘Free Palestine’ Attacks New Hampshire Wedding; One Dead
  3.  They Say They’ve Come to Conquer — Are You Listening?
  4.  Separation of mosque and state - A Florida congressman introduced a bill to ban any application of sharia law throughout the United States. It’s about time......
There have been mass demonstrations in Israel demanding an end to the war and bring the hostages home, no matter the cost, and yet, of the remaining 48 Israeli hostages it's believe only 20 are still alive.  Who's behind these suicidal demonstrations?  If you're a moral person you must have compassion for these hostages and their families.  If you're a rational person you must realize giving in to Hamas will destroy Israel and lead to more violence and hostage taking.   They would sacrifice millions of people and the nation to save 20.   That's insane.  You cannot reward evil and expect good.
