History is Everything, and Everything is to be Questioned.

Now, The World as I See It!
This quote by Ted Nugent is simple yet profound.
Imagine being more upset about a canceled TV show than a political assassination and still thinking you're a decent human being.
Throughout world history there's been times when an event becomes seminal, having a long range impact far beyond what anyone would have expected, and its clear Charlie Kirk's assassination is one of them.
The right is united in it's desire to crush these leftist terrorists, their network funders, their celebrity enablers, and their mentally flawed and intellectually corrupt politicians, and the left is being exposed for just how badly they're mentally flawed and intellectually corrupt.
The Insight and Issues Editorial Board published this article, The Left’s Reaction to Jimmy Kimmel’s Firing Is Funnier Than He Ever Was saying:
It’s been amusing to watch the left’s reaction to ABC giving the boot to Jimmy Kimmel. Not because of their rank hypocrisy when it comes to censorship. Or their claim that firing a low-rated late-night “comic” means “authoritarianism has arrived.” Or the fact that they are far more outraged that Kimmel lost his time slot than that Charlie Kirk lost his life over things they said........... Networks do this all the time, usually without a peep of protest.
CBS fired veteran reporter Catherine Herridge – and seized her belongings – for unknown reasons. (She’d been investigating the Hunter Biden laptop scandal.) Also in 2024, NBC News fired former Republican National Committee chair Ronna McDaniel shortly after hiring her as a commentator. There was no hand wringing about the death of democracy.
But, we’re told, the real threat to free speech is that President Trump – or more accurately the head of the Federal Communications Commission – is said to have threatened to pull ABC’s license if it didn’t can Kimmel.............
Well, the fact is Kimmel was obnoxious and arrogant, along with the fact he wasn't funny and losing viewership rapidly. But here's the key; he was costing them money.
The article goes on to show how the left never uttered a squeak about free speech, the destruction of American democracy, or the "rise of authoritarian government" when conservatives were consistently booted and/or censored during the three Obama administrations when they used the FCC to "silence political speech they didn't like".
Starting in January I had a number of posts deleted by Blogger because I violated their "community standards", yet not one word was false, there was no push for violence, and there was no foul language. If articles supporting truth, justice, and the American way is a violation of their standards, one has to ask what kind of standards do they have? They won't tell you. Why isn't that a violation of free speech, why isn't that a threat to American democracy, why isn't that authoritian?
‘Misinformation’ about Charlie Kirk is Now Free Speech? - It’s always problematic when a relativist claims to be the sole source of truth. ChatGPT defines relativism as:
“Relativism is a philosophical stance suggesting that truths, values, or knowledge are not absolute but are instead relative to a specific cultural framework, historical context, or individual perspective.”
Trust me, no one makes it clearer that his “truth” is based on a particular, secular, cultural framework, distorted historical context, and above all a twisted individual perspective on life than the current cultural pontificator, Barack Obama. .....
Just when you think people are as nutty as they can get, Candace Owens shows that's just not true. She launched a crusade lasting months against French President Macron's wife insisting she's actually a man, and refused to retract her statements claiming she's staking her "professional reputation" on her claims. Well, the Macron's have had enough and are suing her.
Her professional reputation? She's now claiming the ‘Feds’ killed Charlie, and is really upset she wasn't invited to speak right alongside President Trump at the Memorial service. Why? Because President Trump is being controlled by Zionists. She has the "professional reputation" as an antisemite, and went from being a shining star to becoming a burnt out ember.
Will the lawsuit stand against the Sullivan ruling? Hard to say, but it's clearly high time Sullivan was readdressed either juridically or legislatively. Charlie Rose wrote:
....this decision is celebrated as a great victory for the First Amendment and free speech. That’s nonsense. After Sullivan, media corporations filled with professional writers, supposedly dedicated to reporting the truth, were granted government protection to bear false witness against public figures.
This is especially damaging for political figures. As media-propagated lies spread, for example, from the NYT to other established news outlets, our political candidates and leaders are powerless to stop the spread or punish those who broadcast damaging false information. This poisonous discourse opens the floodgates to lies and, dare I say, disinformation, to the point where the Pulitzer Prize Board can confidently award a major news organization for publishing lies.
