Truth is the Sublime Convergence of History and Reality

Another week has flown by and truth be told, it's been an exhausting, and yet exhilarating week. Exhausting because the assassination of Charlie Kirk "is" the news since it happened, and exhilarating because for the first time I'm seeing the vile hateful bile the left consistently spews out backfiring on them.
Jimmy Kimmel is for practical purposes fired, and the fact is, he and all the celebrity nitwit brigade have learned an important lesson. They're hired help, and the First Amendment does not apply to their employers, it only applies to the government. The government cannot use force to prevent speech, with a few exceptions involving crime. Private companies on the other hand have have every right to police what their employees are publicly saying that may impact their brand, especially when, as in Kimmel's case, what's said is a lie.
- No one should listen to Obama when he lectures about free speech and cancel culture - The king of using the government to destroy political opponents wants to warn about “dangerous” tone of cancel culture after Jimmy Kimmel’s termination.
- As the Left Whines About Kimmel, Don't Forget How the Media Cheered Censorship, Especially During COVID - While the Left continues to clutch pearls and rend their garments over Jimmy Kimmel's indefinite suspension from ABC, there was a time in the not-too-distant past when Democrats and their media allies cheered for and demanded censorship.....
The fact is Colbert and Kimmel have a number of things in common. They're obnoxious, stunningly arrogant, they're not entertaining, they're way overpaid, they're losing viewership massively, especially among the younger viewing audience, they're costing the networks money, and fraudulent speech is actionable. Why wouldn't the networks fire them? And it's being reported The View may well be next.
While celebrities are screaming how dare they do such a thing, insisting democracy is doomed, and America is gone, yet it never bothered them when for all those years when conservatives were under threat of cancellation, academics lost their jobs and funding when they didn't tout the leftist narrative of the moment, and cheered with Tucker Carlson was canned, and destroyed the lives and reputations of untold numbers of conservative voices, cheering when Tucker Carlson was canned. Quoting Joseph Ford Cotto:
The Heritage Foundation documented
at least a dozen prominent conservatives fired or blacklisted that year
for positions like opposing abortion causes or standing against leftist
extremism. These were not marginal figures. They were professionals
whose livelihoods were stripped away simply because they voiced opinions
that clashed with progressive orthodoxy.
The left is cheering the murder of Charlie Kirk, and as JR Dunn has stated:
I
believe I'm correct in saying that never before has there been such a
public outburst in favor of a murder. This is mob hysteria on a
continental, if not international scale. It's Orwell's two-minute
hate brought to life and amplified to the most extreme degree.
But this time their vile behavior is not working. America is striking back, and tens of thousands of people are being fired for their public online praise and justification of Charlie Kirk's murder, but make no mistake in thinking this is over. The left's threats are continuing, they're real, and they're serious.
Let's go back to this potential government shutdown on funding. Schumer is playing games demanding the restoration of funding for Obamacare and NPR, which was addressed in the last budget. This is just supposed to be a clean bill that merely authorizes the government to continue to spend money it doesn't have, which the Democrats have done in the past. But their base wants a war, and a war to the last man, and it's clear if there's a shutdown, the Democrats will be blamed. Well, fine, then shut it down.
For those who are unaware, all Blogger blogs are owned by Google's Blogger, and have the right to cancel posts, and even deplatform a blog, and have done so. Over the years I have had posts cancelled, and I protested those cancellations and the posts were restored fairly quickly.
Then starting in January I seemed to have picked up my own personal censor, and from January to April I had nine posts cancelled, which I've been protesting ever since. Eight of them dealt with these false covid vaccinations and the impact Islam is having on western civilization, and no one said Democracy was being destroyed by those cancellations. Why? Because this goes on in the background all the time, and no one is aware of it. They keep cancelling, and I keep protesting, and now I'm down to seven cancellations. This one was finally restored this week. Vaccines: The Good, the Bad, & the Ugly.

No
matter what anyone says, you can’t marginalize the truth! You can
suppress it, you can ignore it, you can avoid it, you can attempt to
undermine it, you can attempt to subvert it, you can attempt to organize
against it, you can even laugh at it, but if we have the courage and
the fortitude to stand and confront the lies, irrespective of the
personal costs, the truth will stand the test of time, because truth and
time are on the same side.
Constant as the North Star
