The Kasich "Republican" Infection

By Rich Kozlovich

I originally published this on February 27, 2018, but I think this is just as profound today as it was then.  If you replace Kasich with Liz Chaney, Lisa Murkowski, Mitt Romney, George Will, Jonah Goldberg, and any number of others who profess to be conservatives, this still applies.

I didn't change this from Kasich to someone else, and I didn't restructure this to keep Kasich out of it, or restructured to be a non specific because I really dislike Kasich.  I had the displeasure and misfortune of meeting him personally, and he's weird, he's rude and he's arrogant. Any time he's presented in any other way he's faking it for the camera, and if you doubt that, please peruse my

On Feb 26, 2018 Seema Mehta posted the article, Schwarzenegger, Kasich to team up in L.A. for group seeking to reform California GOP, saying Kasich and the Governator, Arnold Schwarzenegger were teaming up to reform the California GOP, and it seems to me they want to reform them into Democrats.

The author goes on to say:
“The pair will deliver speeches and participate in panels on March 21 in Los Angeles at an event for New Way California, a group formed by Assemblyman Chad Mayes (R-Yucca Valley)”
Spokesmen for Schwarzenegger stated:
“They will be focused on reminding the Republican Party we need them to be successful, but in order to be successful, they need to choose policies and messaging that helps them grow rather than continue to shrink.”
According to the author Republican membership has been declining dramatically over the recent years and they believe the party -  and quotes another Schwarzenegger spokesman saying - the Republican party in California “should be positive and inclusive and expansive, as opposed to the narrow cast that it has been nationally, and in California particularly, for some time.”

He goes on to say:
“What has happened with tone and on immigration clearly over the last decade, longer, has put the party back, and now the party, by and large, is run by people who would rather be leaders in a phone booth and are not inclusive enough and not positive enough to win a statewide election.” And apparently both Kasich and Schwarzenegger have “concerns about that because what happens in California is a precursor to what happens nationally.”

Only this much illogical clabber could come out of a California politician. Before this I thought Pelosi was acting like a blithering idiot because she’s developing Alzheimer’s. I’m not so sure now. Maybe there’s something in the water that destroys the brain's synapses in California, otherwise I’m at a loss to explain how they think this is reality.

Their first concern, and make no mistake about this, their only concern, is wining. Not doing! Winning!  And in order to do that they want the Republican Party of California to become “inclusive, positive and expansive”.  What does that mean?   Because Democrats have turned California into an absolute mess.  And do they really think that's a good thing?  I know, I know, it wasn't that bad then, but even the most casual observer could have predicted suicidal self immolation.

So, perhaps we should ask:  Are the Republicans deliberately keeping people out of the party? Not that I can tell, unless you think actually having values and sticking to them is a deliberate ploy to keep membership low, rather than a strong moral stand on a broad front of issues.

Do the Republicans have a positive message? I think their message is certainly more positive than the Democrats who make every issue and end of the world scenario, every area of policy disagreement an act of racism. Wasn’t it Nancy who declared the tax cut was Armageddon?

So, letting taxpayers keep more of their hard-earned money instead of wasting it on government bureaucracies is negative, but taking more and more of their money and growing government beyond sustainability and competence - thereby wasting literally trillions - is positive.

Did I get that right? Did I miss something?

Why is it these appeasers always find conservatives to be negative and the left positive when history has shown the left has been as disaster wherever they've imposed their positions on a nation?

As for being expansive - what does that really mean? According to the dictionary it means: covering a wide area in terms of space or scope; extensive or wide-ranging, "deep, expansive canyons", extensive, sweeping, rolling expansive grassland wide-ranging, extensive, broad, wide, comprehensive, thorough, full-scale (of a person or their manner) open, demonstrative, and communicative.

Okay, but what does that mean in politics?  Apparently these RINO's want a “comprehensive, thorough, full-scale (of a person or their manner) open, demonstrative, and communicative.” In short – never say or do anything that will offend or defy leftists or their positions, and become Democrats in every way except don’t change the Republican party name.

And they think that’s a winning strategy?  If there ever was a losing concept – that’s it!

When Harry Truman was running for his own term as President he was criticized by his party for not running more like a Republican.  He said:

“If the people have a choice between a Republican and a Republican, they’ll choose a Republican every time”.

Well the converse is also true, and in California – voting for a real Democrat versus a mimic Democrat that’s an automatic. The Democrats may not have values any conservative appreciates, but those are their values. If the Republican abandons traditional values what values do they actually have? If they have no values, why support them?

There's a reason why California is losing population in droves, but these are the values and positions Kasich and Schwarzenegger want the party of adopt instead of fighting the good fight to save California from becoming another leftist disaster.

The final argument is they’re afraid because “what happens in California is a precursor to what happens nationally.”  So they think California demographics is reflective of the rest of the nation and the Republicans will lose membership as they have in California?  If there ever was a demonstration of how clueless these two are - that's it.   That may have been true in the past, but that’s not true now. What happens in Ohio is what happens nationally.

Note:  As I said this was published in 2018 but change the names and it still all applies. RK

When I was in Washington a few years ago a speaker from one of the popular news show called Ohio the “center of the political universe”. And in Ohio - Kasich is toast. The Republican Party in Ohio is done with him and he’s term limited, meaning as a lame duck governor – he’s in a body cast. I’ve met him and I can honestly say he suffers from a serious case of weird compounded by a massive infection of hubris.

He’s clearly wanting to be President of the United States and I keep wondering why? Does he want the nation to become California and finish the work Obama started?   Does he like the idea California refuses to enforce federal immigration laws? Does he like the idea a Mayor of a Oakland has violated federal law by illegally warning illegals of potential arrests? Does he want the nation to bring back Obamacare? If that’s a part of his package and strategy – he’s toast right out of the starting gate.

It’s been clear to me he desperately wants to be President of the United States, and somehow thinks he can run in 2020 and get elected. The real question we should be asking is this: When will he change parties - before or after the 2018 election?

We already know from Kasich's positions on the Medicaid expansion Kasich is a liar and a heretic.  Will being a heretic make it easier for him to abandon his position on abortion, because once you become a Democrat, you must be a pro-abortionist or you’re toast there also.  However, if he does change parties - he should take the Governator with him.  No one will care, including the Democrat party.

The GOP’s Trump Solution

At some point, the former Republican establishment will have to familiarize itself with the consequences of being defeated by Donald Trump within its own party.

  By

Having been commendably supportive of the former president through most of his term, the Journal joined in the general embarkation of NeverTrumpers over the ostensible election results. The theory that inspired this headline is Trump had his chance but lost the election in a manner practically indistinguishable from defeated incumbents Jimmy Carter in 1980 and George H. W. Bush in 1992 (when there were no suggestions of questionable results). The editors suggest further that Trump had exhausted any grounds he had for contesting the fairness of the counting of ballots, and that it was his duty to go quietly into that good night and do everything that he could to elect Republican senators in Georgia to preserve the Republican majority in the Senate and to enhance the likelihood of the reelection next year of Governor Brian Kemp of Georgia and his secretary of state Brad Raffensperger.............To Read More.....

My Take - Interesting piece in contrast with these two diametrically opposing views.

Here's the thing. These two are losers.  Flake really is a flake and Kasich, whom I've met, suffers from a serious case of weird compounded by a massive infection of hubris, and both suffer from the Mind Projection fallacy, where they see what's in their head, whether it's real or not.  Will Trump shrink the GOP?  Yes!  By driving out the invertebrates, collaborators and self-serving traitors like these two, and John Boehner, who's absolutely a disgrace, and if reports are correct, a drunk.

DeWine is a Conservative on the Same Order as John Kasich! Both Are a Disgrace!

By Rich Kozlovich

Editor's Note:  This was forgotten sitting in my draft file, so some of the information is dated.  I came across it today and it's dated but the thoughts are current and valid, especially in light of Kasich's current comments and De Wine's tyrannical decisions regarding this coronavirus issue.  RK

Governor Mike DeWine is fond of telling people he's a conservative.  He seems to have the same problem John Kasich had:  Defining conservatism as they see fit.  Which in the case of both of them is to act like far left Democrats.

On July 19, 2016 Eric Scheiner posted the article, Gov. Kasich: We Want Immigration - Population is Stagnant in Ohio saying:

Ohio Gov. and former Republican presidential candidate John Kasich (R-Ohio) told an audience in Cleveland that he looks at immigration as an opportunity because Ohio has a “stagnant growth of population – we want people to come to Ohio.”  “When I look at immigration I look at a new level of energy,”....... “I look at immigration as an opportunity. One of the things that we face in Ohio is a stagnant growth of population – we want people to come to Ohio.

Okay....I wonder who this "we" is he's talking about?  And why do we need more people in Ohio? Are we getting a bunch of new factories to replace all those that closed over the last 20 years?  I haven't seen them.   And why are they immigrants and not people from other states?  There's a reason why is it Ohio is in the top five states people are moving out of?  Does anyone besides me think there's something wrong with Kasich?  I think he's weird and stunningly arrogant.

He's gone from being a "conservative" - at least that's what everyone thought until he became Governor of Ohio, then he started acting like .....well..... Obama!  He bypassed the expressed will of the legislature regarding Obamacare issues, which will end up costing Ohio billions of dollars we don't have.  His justification?  He says he has to support Obamacare otherwise he'll have to answer to God for not doing so.  Is this another Twilight Zone episode?

He claims he cut taxes, but what he did was shift them to the "rich".  He cut taxes on small businesses, but he didn't cut the volumn of taxes being collected - he merely shifted them to bigger companies.  That's classic leftist class warfare, and claiming to have cut taxes is a lie. He subsidized large corporations that threatened to move out of Ohio, like Bob Evans, thereby forcing all the other restaurants in Ohio to support Bob Evans financially - along with the rest of us.  Did anyone see Bob Evans cut their prices as a result?  No, and you won't.

There are some consolation to all of this - he's not going to the convention, so we won't have to listen to his gibberish and logical fallacies, and he's term limited.  He's gone after 2018 and we won't have to listen to anything he babbles about again.  In the meanwhile - It appears to me John Kasich is now in the service of Mordor and the dark lord Sauron.

He claims we're isolationists when we "just take care of us", but the fact of the matter is when we take care of us the rest of the world benefits.  If we throw more good money after bad money we'll go broke and the world will spiral into dystopia.

Personally - I think there's something seriously wrong with him, and I'm not all that crazy about his Lieutenant Governor, Mary Taylor.  She actually thinks after accepting Obamacare they can (and I heard her say this in a meeting I attended) back out of it if they please.  Is it possible she's not the brightest pebble in the brook either?  Or is it she's just another political hack?

Then we come to DeWine.  What a prize he's turned out to be.  The booby prize!

Kasich: GOP Leadership ‘Fostered Lies and Misinformation’ for ‘False Prophet’ Trump

Pam Key

Former Gov. John Kasich (R-OH) said Thursday on CNN’s “Cuomo Prime Time” he holds the Republican leadership responsible for fostering “foster lies and misinformation” that enabled President Donald Trump, who Kasich called a “false prophet.”

Kasich said, “The situation is that the Republican leadership has really gone along in fostering these lies, these conspiracies. You know, the election was stolen.”

He continued, “So what has to happen in order to wake people up is the Republicans in a clear voice have to say, we lost the election plain and simple. There are people in the party right now — frankly, Trump was a false prophet. He was a false prophet. When he told people, the people who go paycheck to paycheck, whose kids are not doing well, whose jobs are at risk, he’s telling them, I’ll fix all this. Those folks, you’re not going to— you’ve got to give them ideas and give them some hope because much of this is about desperation, conspiracies.”

He added, “I’ve got to hold the leadership and the party accountable for this because they continued to foster untruths, not untruths, they foster lies and misinformation. People out here, some of whom are desperate, are willing to latch on to anything, and that’s how Trump became the false prophet.”.......To Read More....

What You Need to Know About That 'Lifelong Republican' Voting for Biden Who Was Featured at the DNC

Matt Vespa Aug 21, 2020

Well, if John Kasich can take solace in anything after his betrayal of the Republican Party, it’s that he won’t be alone. Hey, all of these clowns can join him in that field, so he won’t be as lonely. The Democratic National Convention is over. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are official the Left’s “back in chains” ticket for 2020. And look, they found like 12 Republicans who are going to back Joe Biden because…I really don’t know why.

Any true Republican would have never voted for Hillary Clinton. Any true Republican knows the same can be said for Biden. It makes no sense for any conservative to vote for Joe Biden. Let me break cycle of party tribalism by voting for a man whose agenda is all about…tribalism.

This is politics at its core. It’s why there are these things called parties and a voter base. it makes no sense to vote for someone whose values and policies you despise all because you want to…put country over party. The clowns who peddle this nonsense are the weakest, most trite losers in politics. And boy, did Democrats find some Republicans who fit that mold, and it’s not just Kasich. Who are these weak people..........To Read More....

Kasich and Company!

The Inevitability Factor: When Reality Reaches It's Apex!

By Rich Kozlovich

On August 19, 2020 Robert Arvay published this article,  How do we explain Republicans who support Biden? saying:
I personally know some Republicans who now support Biden for president. Mind you, these are people who vigorously opposed Obama's ruinous depredations of the American economy for eight solid years.
They ranted against his treacherous Iran deal. They decried his open borders policy. They voted for McCain/Palin and then, four years later, for Romney/Ryan. Finally, they rooted for one or the other of the Republican contenders in the 2016 primaries — any of them, that is, except Donald Trump. All the while, they excoriated the Clintons for their corruption and duplicity. Then something mysterious happened.
When Trump was nominated, these supposedly staunchly conservative Republicans seem to have voted, in 2016, for Hillary Clinton, the woman whom they would have fiercely opposed had the Republican nominee been Rubio, Cruz, Kasich, or anybody but Trump.
The fact that Trump leads from the front, AKA The Trump Doctrine, is changing the balance of power worldwide.  He has been dealing with immigration, neutering Iran, and with the new deal between Israel and United Arab Emirates, a major diplomatic coup against the jihadists and particularly Iran, and actually supporting Israel other Republican's only promised to do.
It's clear Trump's geopolitical policies are predicated on the recognition that:
"over the next century......[it will be a ] contest among European socialism, Chinese communism, and American freedom.  "He ran for office by denouncing trade deals with China that had sold out America’s workforce for China’s and Wall Street’s enrichment. Once in office, he has played nice with the Middle Kingdom while strengthening our economic and military tieswith India, Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Australia, as well as forging stronger alliances with Brazil and Panama to help freeze China’s advances in South and Central America in its tracks.
He has taken on Huawei; TikTok; and China’s planned 5G telecommunication networks in the U.K., India, and elsewhere before they could be used as backdoors for international surveillance.
He has allied himself with the freedom-fighters of Hong Kong and the independence movement in Taiwan, while placing aircraft carriers and reconnaissance aircraft within a hundred miles of China’s coast. The president is speaking softly, sharpening his stick, and preparing the United States for war before it’s too late.
But China likes Joe Biden, and the Democrats like China.
It seems awfully hypocritical at best for the same party that pushed the biggest political hoax in U.S. history regarding Russian collusion with the Trump campaign in 2016 to rationalize a hostile power’s preference for a U.S. presidential campaign this time around. This is just another proof that all the Left cares about is its own power, even above the safety of the fundamental U.S. institution of fair and free elections.
He has pursued the "secrets of the depth and extent of official corruption at the DoJ, the FBI, the CIA, and other agencies".  Does anyone doubt if Hillary had been elected all that corruption would have disappeared into a deep dark "Top Secret, Never to be Revealed" rabbit hole?  Secrets of criminal activity Hillary, Obama, Biden and a host of others were into right up to their chins.

Everything he's done has been what they claimed they wanted.  Everything he's done has been in total opposition of what Hillary wanted, which they said they hated.  Everything he's done is in total opposition of what Biden stands for, which is now openly radical, and more openly radical than what Hillary admitted to!  And they're supporting Biden.

Conclusion?  They lied about what they really want in order keep the party fooled, blindly loyal and ignorantly happy.  Their problem is, the base isn't ignorant any longer.  It isn't fooled any longer.  And they're not happy.

Conservatives refuse to vote for phony conservatives, as was seen with McCain and Romney.   The internet has exposed these people for who and what they are, and once truth is known, it's the truth forever, but it needs to be repeated regularly and often.  Here's another truth.  They're supporting a man the world recognizes as border line institutional with dementia or some other neurological disorder.

A man that Kasich calls a man of faith. again playing the religion card, equating "big government and welfare spending with religious values".    His weirdness, arrogance, hypocrisy and heresy are clearly highlighted in this piece, Kasich's Conscience Prefers a President Who'll Put Boys in Girls' Locker Room.  Here's who John Kasich really is, and the long term damage he caused Ohio.  He once said he has the right to define conservatism as he sees fit.  He defines it in terms any leftist can understand, and applaud, with few exceptions.   After his eight years as governor of Ohio he "gave the state freehealth care for the poor, electric cars, energy taxes and environmental mandates. It came at a cost of middle-class taxpayers — people trying to breathe as they tread deep water."  And he would like to share that with the rest of the nation.

Beyond any moral issues, Kasich and Company have to know they're supporting a party that is knowingly supporting criminal behavior.  A party that's notoriously ruined America's inner cities, and a party that's knowingly running a candidate who is not mentally competent to be President of the United States, and probably unfit to conduct his own affairs competently.

  • Does anyone really doubt that If Biden and Kamala win, the corruption will be off the charts?
  • That Biden will be institutionalized in short order?
  • That Kamala will be Acting President?
  • That Foreign policy and domestic policy will be predicated on insane anti-American leftist views, and will be even worse than under Obama?
  • That all the crimes committed by the Obama administration will cease to be investigated?
  • That  deep state corruption will become far worse than anything heretofore imagined?
  • That all elections will be rigged at every level?
  • That Democrats will openly become what they've secretly been for decades, Socialist anti-American tyrants?
  • That the Constitution will be scraped.
His final comments:
That is how illogical it is for supposed opponents of the radical left, spineless RINOs, to support the Biden/Harris ticket. Yet there it is. There they are. It's happening. Their loyalties are to themselves, and as far as they are concerned, you and your nation be damned.

John Kasich was a Disgrace Yesterday, He's a Disgrace Today, and He'll Be a Bigger Disgrace Tomorrow: Part II

By Rich Kozlovich

published this piece, AOC trades barbs with John Kasich ahead of his Democrat Convention speech, saying:
AOC trashed the former GOP governor of Ohio as a union-busting opponent of women’s right to choose — and suggested Democrats find a better partner to cross the aisle and attack President Trump.  “Something tells me a Republican who fights against women’s rights doesn’t get to say who is or isn’t representative of the Dem party,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote on Twitter.
They went on to say:
Kasich will speak Monday at the DNC along with other disaffected Republicans like former New Jersey Gov. Christine Todd Whitman, tech executive Meg Whitman and former Staten Island Rep. Susan Molinari (R-N.Y.).
My first thought was: Welcome to your new party John!

As I've said in the past  in Part One Here , I've met Kasich, and he suffers for a serious case of weird compounded by a massive infection of hubris.  And it seems apparent, at least to me, that arrogance in some way makes him think he can move over into a party of atheists, abortionists, anti-Americans, rumor mongers, corrupt conspirators and liars on a massive scale, and say what he wants.  A party that demands total immersion in the latest leftist tantrum of the day, and will throw anyone under the bus who dares disagree. A party with no rules and no stable moral foundation, will not tolerate such arrogance, unlike your former party.

Your new party doesn't have rules.  At least the kind of rules you've been used to and abused.   And now they're going to use you and then eat you alive. Oh, by the way, if you've not changed party's yet, it's really immaterial, the Republican base has dumped you, and I'm not alone in my view of Kasich.

Here are some of the comments about him in this piece:
  • When you leave a legitimate loving Conservative family to join an illegitimate party of social haters, don’t be surprised that it is YOU Kasich who is first in line for molesting and attack. Tell me who your new friends are, and I’ll tell you what you are……but then my words would get moderated out of existence. Compromise with the Devil and you are halfway on the way to hell. Kasich is just beginning to feel the heat of his new found friendships. The Kasich collusion in their Trump delusions in his embrace of Joe Biden, is not an act of “The Bold and the Beautiful” but the old, the mentally confused and the ugly. • One commentor said: I’m afraid that Lake Erie and the Great Salt Lake will overflow when the egos of Kasich and Romney are laid to rest. Another responded saying: I wouldn’t want to contaminate the water supply…
  • Well, well, well. A crack in the wall of solidarity of the Socialist Democrats. Ouch, that must has really hurt camera hound AOC for Kasich to have told her the truth. She was completely left out, almost, from the convention. 60 seconds is all they gave this socialist/green new deal communist. She has her eyes on Pelosi’s job, and that will come soon enough. Pelosi is getting very old and losing her grip on her beloved gavel.
  • Kasich? Is an island to himself. One who betrays the Republican party, but is not accepted as a part of the Democrat Socialist party either, other than to be used by them when it suits their purposes.
  • She and her squad, Kasich, and Romney deserve one another along with many other in the Socialist Democrat party.
  • The Democrat Convention reminded me of a combination of Hollywood Squares with Kasich filling in for Paul Lynde as the comedian,,,,,or the opening to the Brady Bunch, and like the Brady Bunch, they presented their fake show as a warm fuzzy family of loving normalcy in their manufactured “Father Biden Knows Best” family and community structure, but when the truth came out in real life the Brady dad was more interested in non-family producing gay sexual activities with other men, and Mom was having a real affair with the boy actor that played her son, and openly bragged about it outside the media coverage of CONVENTIONAL media smoke and mirrors. Their real Brady lives ended badly as Kasich’s ends now, and so will America if we buy into this media orchestrated fraud Democrat Dog and Donkey show presented to cover up of the Biden/Harris Family infidelities, illegitimacies, and illegalities………
  • Reminds of the Story about the boy who took home the wounded snake; after nursing the wounded snake for 5 days back to good health, the boy and the snake were happy until the snake bit the little boy and the little boy asked the snake why did you bite me, the snake replied because I am a snake!!!
  • I voted for kasich in 2012, but never again…
  • Benedict Arnold was paid by the British but never received the respect and accolades he thought he deserved. Kasich, like other Rino’s never impressed me all that much so he and Romney and the others can now enjoy their new-found status among the progressive left. Good-bye!
  • Yep. Useful idiots all. They expect love from the Dems that daddy denied them, but it will never come. They burned Ellen. They burned Roseanne. They burned Jeffrey Tambor and Kevin Spacey.
  • These people were all considered ultra-woke just a little while ago. Now they’re un-persons. Hating Trump back in 2016 isn’t anywhere near enough for the Left to love Kasich.
  • He’s another McCain. No love from the Left or Right. And why would either side love them? There’s nothing there for anyone to love. All Kasich has to offer is hate. “Will hate for food”.
  • Yep. Kasich did get it right about AOC in this article. That jealousy thing he and Romney, Bolton, Mattis have for Trump has been their undoing. They are middle-of-the-roaders and got hit from both sides. Have to watch out for the political traffic when you stand in the middle of the road. God said in His Word, “Be ye hot or cold, but if you are lukewarm, I will spew you out of My mouth.”
  • From the article above: “The firebrand first-term lawmaker trashed the former GOP governor”. Hey AOC, you and Kasich are both “trash”, so you, AOC, should be “trashed”, just like Kasich the traitor.
  • Well Kasich, what did you learn? Not much, going into the pool with sharks, yup, you got your head handed to you…these idiots on the left are morons, I guess you’re one now. • And don’t you DARE< come crying back to the GOP and say "please take me back", you traitor.. WE DON'T want you!
  • Sorry but I am totally happy with passing up Kasich and All Out Crazy. Kinda funny though , 2 pieces of dog swill insulting each other. Must be a dem convention……
  • By “giving aid and comfort to the enemy” in the form of promoting the Biden-Harris-socialist-communist team, Kasich has proven beyond any reasonable doubt that he is a Democrat. So when he fights with AOC, he is now a trader to BOTH major political parties and thus is without a friend or smiling face anywhere he goes. He has worked hard to earn the disgust of all politically-aware people.
  • He has proven beyond a doubt, he’s a TRAITOR.
  • I’m no fan of Kasich, as he is a traitorous piece of Schiff.
  • It is so invigorating to hear two looney birds quarreling over their common hate of our President. Kasich is a sad excuse for …just about anything! The Manhattan roof performer on the other hand is just so energetic and full of it. Make a great comedy act.
Some years ago I predicted two things. One, he would change party's and become a Democrat, or two, he and the Mitt Romney types, false conservatives, RINO's and disaffected Democrats would attempt to form a third party to make him President.

There's couple of problems with that. First, they won't have the numbers. Secondly, who would fund them, George Soros?  Maybe, because it might help to weaken the Republican party, but he wouldn't give enough to get him elected. Finally, he wouldn't be the only one who wants to be President in that disaffected group, and they couldn't afford to have a fight and survive.

So ...... Welcome to your new party John, and the well earned obscurity you deserve.

John Kasich Was a Disgrace Yesterday, He's a Disgrace Today, He'll Be a Bigger Disgrace Tomorrow!

The Inevitability Factor: When Reality Reaches It's Apex!

By Rich Kozlovich

of the Canada Free Press published this piece yesterday. Brother John Kasich, Sista AOC Will Preach to the Perverted at Democrat Convention, saying:
If you want to hang onto any sanity left over in the ongoing pandemic lockdown, tune out of the convention, including coverage by Fox News.  Those watching the Democrat convention—complete with 1,000 VIRTUAL cheering crowds—are going to be black and blue from pinching themselves to check on reality while watching..........Some of the players in this Biggest Show On Earth are straight out of the Vaudeville acts of old.
She goes on to say:
There’s ex-Ohio Governor ‘Brother’ John Kasich, who will tell evangelicals that supporting Trump is “not consistent with Biblical teachings” and that abortion supporting Joe Biden ’Is a man of Deep Faith’........ former Gov. John Kasich.........said Evangelicals’ support for Trump was not “consistent with the things that they believe in as promoted in the Old and New Testament.” (Breitbart, Aug. 10, 2020)
Not consistent with Old and New Testament teaching?  Really?  I wonder what version of the New and Old Testaments he's reading?

According to Kaisch it's Joe Biden's faith that motivates Kasich to support Biden, the man whose church refused communion to him for his heresy.  And he encourages other Republicans to join him in this fallacious conclusion and abandon their "partisanship, and support insanity.  Imagine that!

According to Kasich he's keyed into (whatever that means) into a lot of "people of faith" who agree with him in that faith is a personal relationship (whatever that means) and Joe is a man of faith.

Does anything he said seem clear to you?  No?  Well there's a reason why.  It's nonsense.  As Judi McLeod said:  "Yeah, right, Brother John."

Let's face it, being a heretic "keyed into" a lot of other heretics isn't much of a convincing argument for supporting another heretic!  Remember, he brought religion into this discussion.

I had the displeasure of meeting Kasich when he was governor and concluded he suffered from a serious case of weird compounded by a massive infection of hubris. Nothing he's done since then nullifies that diagnosis.

How long will it be before this life long anti-abortion "Christian" will have an epiphany that abortion is just fine?   Will he be just like Dennis Kucinich, who was a life long anti-abortion Catholic, until he decided he wanted to be the Democrat Party's choice for President.  And all of a sudden he had an epiphany!  He suddenly discovered that infanticide was just fine and dandy, and abandoned his faith in a effort to be President of the United States.

One of my favorite movies is Robert Bolt's, A Man For All Seasons.  I do wish the movie was being shown now. Of the two I've seen, I prefer this one, with Paul Scofield.

The movie was about Sir Thomas More who refused to accept the divorce and re-marriage of Henry VIII as legal. During the trial Richard Rich, having sworn under oath to tell the truth, lied about Sir Thomas.  A lie which condemned him. Although the outcome was predetermined, this lie justified the death sentence.

Sir Thomas More commented:
"In good faith, Rich, I am sorrier for your perjury than my peril".
As Rich was walking away from the witness stand, Sir Thomas says:
"I have one question to ask the witness. That's a chain of office you are wearing. May I see it? The red dragon. What's this?" Cromwell replies, "Sir Richard is appointed Attorney-General for Wales". More says, "For Wales? Why, Richard, it profits a man nothing to give his soul for the whole world . . . But for Wales!"
Let's get this right.  To be a Democrat and a Christian is to be a heretic.  For John Kasich to call a heretic a man of faith, who clearly wants to turn America into an atheistic socialist state, is self-serving insanity.

I also predicted Kasich, who really desires to be President of the United States, would change parties and become a Democrat.  That looks more likely by the day, but I also concluded he may become part of a cabal of "radical leftist Republicans", like Mitt Romney and smarmy media types like George Will and Bill Kristol, and attempt to form a third party with so-called moderate Democrats and leftist Republicans.

In the meanwhile, Kasich is even a bigger a disgrace now than he was as governor.

2020 Vote Looks Like 1972 — With No Watergate

By CONRAD BLACK, Special to the Sun August 28, 2019

It is not too early to speculate on what the national political press, and especially the high-brow conservative Never Trumpers, are going to do after this president is comfortably reelected. The Washingtonp-New York-Los Angeles press threw everything they had against candidate Trump, nominee Trump, and the president, and they have lost everything they had.
All surveys show that their audience/readership is sinking and their commercial economics are shriveling, and no reasonable person can fail to be disgusted with the endless malicious slanders and distortions by the Lemons, Maddows, Scarboroughs, Blitzers.

It is exquisite that Mr. Trump has used the hard-left social press to outmaneuver the traditional media kingmakers and now nods approvingly as Senators Warren and Sanders and their allies attack the new media cartel, whose leading figures are almost as hostile to the president as are those seeking the Democratic nomination against him next year.........To Read More......

Mitt Romney: John McCain reprised

July 23, 2019 By Richard Jack Rail

In a tweet, President Trump famously said that if Ilhan Omar doesn't like America, she can go back where she came from.  Followers immediately started chanting, "Send her back!" in the way they once chanted, "Lock her up!" about another vicious, ugly female lefty officeholder.

The Left came unglued, and so did Mitt Romney.  Mitt finds the new chant offensive, you see, and immediately blamed Donald Trump.  Perhaps, curiously, Mitt found nothing offensive in anything Ilhan Omar had said, but then he probably also finds nothing objectionable in her character as he does in the Trump character.

Making ordinary sense of Mitt Romney is a fool's errand. Nobody can make sense of Mitt Romney. He interviewed to be Donald Trump's secretary of state, then promptly went to Europe and spoke ill of the president. He published a scathing editorial about Trump in the Wall Street Journal. He claims to be Republican but has done his best to obstruct the Trump agenda........To Read More....

My Take - History is making a mess of the media's Kennedy Camelot narrative, and that includes the rest of the clan, especially Teddy.  The media is still trying to twist that history in his favor, which has become impossible now.  Worse yet for the Kennedy mob, time is against them.

History will destroy McCain, because he just couldn't stop being the vile and vindictive creature he was right up until his death.

And then there's Romney.  History will not be kind to him either.  History and reality will end Romney's influence as more and more information becomes available about RINO's in American politics.  Much of which seems almost Machiavellian.  Schemers, liars, deceivers, all claiming to be conservatives, yet all the while working what is obscene in the background.

I'm convinced there was something wrong with the minds of both Kennedy and McCain, and we know their character was far from exemplary, and one might easily say, flawed, especially Teddy.  As far as Romney goes, I really think there's something wrong with Romney's mind and his character also.  I really agree with the author when he says, " Making ordinary sense of Mitt Romney is a fool's errand."

Yet, I keep asking: What does he hope to gain?  He will never be President of the United States.  That train has left the depot!  Does he believe otherwise?  The same is true for John Kasich.  Both of whom claim to be conservatives, and religious ones at that.  Kasich's view about conservatism is he "can define conservatism as he sees fit", which in his case was a lot like leftism.

There was a reason Obama said America needs more governors like Kasich.  There has to be something wrong with their minds.  I've met Kasich, and I can say this with absolute certainty, he suffers from a serious case of weird compounded by a massive infection of hubris.

Romney may be better mannered than Kasich, which doesn't require a whole lot of work or effort, but he's clearly weird, and he must be arrogant to the point of lunacy, otherwise he wouldn't be acting the way he does.

Ohio’s Cheerleader for Big Government, John “Barack” Kasich

(Editor's Note:  With all this talk about Kasich being a political commentator on CNN I thought it might be useful to publish this 2013 article by Dan Mitchell.  I've had the misfortune to meet Kasich personally, and I think I can without reservation say he suffers from a serious case of weird compounded by a massive infection of hubris.  RK)

October 28, 2013 by Dan Mitchell @ International Liberty
I’m glad I work for a principled and libertarian organization. At the Cato Institute, there’s never any pressure to say or do the wrong thing for partisan reasons.

When Republicans screw up, I don’t have to think twice about exposing their misdeeds.

I have repeatedly criticized President Bush (and his former top aide) for expanding the burden of government. Buying votes with other people’s money isn’t compassionate.

Incurable spendaholics?

I have excoriated former GOP Hill staffers who became lobbyists for various special interests groups looking to fleece taxpayers. Stealing is wrong, even when you get a lot of money to use government as middleman.

I have slammed a former Reagan Administration official for defending earmarks. I think it is morally offensive that he gets rich by facilitating the transfer of money from taxpayers to powerful interest groups.

I have condemned the former Senate Republican leader for defending Obamacare. I think it is disgusting that he puts his lobbying income ahead of America’s best interests.

I have denounced Illinois Republican legislators for killing school choice. I think it is downright nauseating that they condemn inner-city children to terrible schools in exchange for campaign contributions from teacher unions.

And I have pointed out that statist policies don’t become acceptable merely because they come from Republican presidential candidates. The road to serfdom oftentimes is bipartisan.

We now have another candidate for our “Republican Hall of Shame.” The governor of Ohio, John Kasich, is embracing Obamacare. Moreover, not only does he want bad healthcare policy, but he’s using third-world tactics and making morally reprehensible arguments.

The Wall Street Journal savages Kasich in a stinging editorial. Here’s a key excerpt that explains the overall situation.
…there are still a few disciples with faith in an ObamaCare higher power, and one of them happens to run Ohio. Governor John Kasich is so fervent a believer that he is even abusing his executive power to join the Affordable Care Act’s Medicaid expansion. Not to be sacrilegious, but the Republican used to know better. Now Mr. Kasich seems to view signing up for this part of ObamaCare as an act of Christian charity and has literally all but claimed that God told him to do so.
But Gov. Kasich has a slight problem. The legislature hasn’t approved this budget-busting part of Obamacare. So Kasich has decided that he can arbitrarily change policy, just like Obama did with the employer mandate and the Obamacare exemption for Capitol Hill.
The problem is that his evangelizing failed to convert the Ohio legislature, which is run by Republicans who understand the brutal budget and regulatory realities of participating in new Medicaid. So Mr. Kasich simply decided to cut out Ohio’s elected representatives and expand Medicaid by himself. …he appealed to an obscure seven-member state panel called the Controlling Board, which oversees certain state capital expenditures and can receive or make grants. …Mr. Kasich asked the panel to approve $2.56 billion in federal funding, and then he’ll lift eligibility levels via executive fiat. It’s a gambit worthy of President Obama, who also asserts unilateral powers to suspend laws that displease him and bypass Congress.
But what’s really nauseating is that Kasich equates big government and welfare spending with religious values.
Mr. Kasich really must feel like he’s guided by the Holy Spirit… “When you die and get to the meeting with St. Peter, he’s probably not going to ask you much about what you did about keeping government small. But he is going to ask you what you did for the poor,” to quote one of his favorite lines.
I suppose I could make a joke about communists presumably being super religious if you use this twisted metric, but there’s a serious point to be made. I’m not a religious scholar, but I wrote several years ago that, “Doesn’t Christianity (and, I assume, Judaism and other faiths) require individuals – using free will – to act charitably? Using the coercive power of government to forcibly redistribute other people’s money, by contrast, is moral preening at best.”

Moreover, Kasich must be delusional if he thinks making government bigger is good for the poor. Redistribution traps the poor in dependency and a larger public sector hinders economic growth, making life even more difficult for the less fortunate.

Heck, just compare Hong Kong and Argentina over the past 50-plus years and ask yourself which jurisdiction afforded more opportunity for those trying to climb the economic ladder.

Fortunately, the battle isn’t over yet.
Thirty-nine House Republicans signed a formal protest and some of them are threatening to sue, and well they should. They argue that circumventing the legislature subverts the Ohio constitution’s separation of powers and exceeds the statutory legal authorities of the Controlling Board, which is supposed to “take no action which does not carry out the legislative intent of the General Assembly.”
I don’t know whether a legal case will be successful, but I can share data showing that Ohio already is in deep fiscal trouble.
  • It ranks 39th in the Tax Foundation’s State Business Tax Climate Index.
  • It was the 7th-worst state on controlling spending over the past decade.
  • It ranks in the bottom 10 on measures of bureaucrats to teachers.
  • It was listed as one of America’s 11 states facing an economic death spiral.
And John “Barack” Kasich thinks he’ll make Ohio better by adding an additional layer of government spending to finance Obamacare expansion?!?

What makes this situation so sad is that Kasich was Chairman of the House Budget Committee in the mid-1990s, so he deserves some of the credit for restraining federal spending during that period, a very successful policy that led to better economic performance and budget surpluses.

P.S. Kasich’s push to expand Medicaid shows one of the reasons the program should be reformed.

He’s being lured by the promise that Washington will pick up the entire tab for the first few years.

Afterwards, state taxpayers will get saddled with some of the burden, but Kasich probably assumes he won’t be around to deal with that problem. This is why the entire program should be block-granted to the states. If Kasich really thinks God wants a bigger Medicaid system, he should go to Ohio voters and ask them to pay for it.

The Best and Worst Cities in the United States

February 3, 2019 by Dan Mitchell @ International Liberty

There are several options if you want to measure economic freedom and competitiveness among nations (rankings from the Fraser Institute, Heritage Foundation, and World Economic Forum).

You also have many choices if you want to measure economic freedom and competitiveness among states (rankings from the Tax Foundation, Mercatus Center, and Fraser Institute).

But there’s never been a good source if you want to know which local jurisdiction is best.

Dean Stansel of Southern Methodist University is helping to fill this gap with a report looking at the relative quality of government policy in various metropolitan statistical areas (MSAs encompass not just a city, but also economically relevant suburbs).
…the level of economic freedom can vary across subnational jurisdictions within the same country (e.g., Texas and Florida have less-burdensome economic policies and therefore much greater economic freedom than New York and California). However, levels of economic freedom can also vary within those subnational jurisdictions. For example, the San Jose metro area has substantially higher economic freedom than Los Angeles. The same is true for Nashville compared to Memphis. In some places, metropolitan areas straddle state borders, skewing state-level economic data. This report quantifies those intra-state disparities by providing a local-level version of the EFNA, ranking 382 metropolitan areas by their economic freedom levels.
So who wins this contest?..........I’m not surprised to see so much red in California and New York, but I didn’t realize that Ohio (thanks for nothing, Kasich), Oregon, and West Virginia were so bad..............To Read More....

John Kasich exits stage left

By Jason Hart January 14, 2019

Gov. John Kasich, R-Ohio, took office as a Tea Party hero, unafraid of the union bosses and welfare lobbyists who would fight his efforts to shrink Ohio's bloated government. He leaves as an honorary union member who was inducted to a hospital lobbying group’s Hall of Fame.

Kasich beat incumbent Democratic Gov. Ted Strickland in 2010 by promising to deliver job growth with smaller government, labor reform, and opposition to Obamacare. Kasich “was in the Tea Party before there was a Tea Party,” he said during the campaign, leveraging a reputation for fiscal conservatism built when he was House Budget Committee chairman in the 1990s.

But after eight years with Kasich in the governor’s office and Republican supermajorities in both houses of the Ohio General Assembly, Ohio’s government spending is higher than it’s ever been. Medicaid enrollment has exploded, and private sector job growth trailed the national average every month from 2013 through 2017. Ohio’s union laws, municipal tax system, and unfunded public pension liabilities remain among the nation’s worst.

What happened? In 2010, Kasich saw a path to the White House for a governor with a record of taking on the left-wing special interests that make reform so difficult; by the end of 2011, Gov. Scott Walker, R-Wis., was on that path in front of him...........To Read More.....

My Take - Two years ago I predicted Kasich would change parties, and it looks more and more to be a good prediction.  He's said for years he reserves unto himself the right to define conservatism as he sees fit.  Well, he's also reserving unto himself what it means to define Right to Life.  If he becomes a Democrat it won't be long before he'll start to define abortion as God's will, just like Amelia Bonow who calls abortion “God’s plan” and identifies as “pro-life.”

Dennis Kucinich was an anti-abortion Catholic for all of his life, until he ran for President of the United States, then he "evolved" and all of a sudden had an epiphany and decided abortion wasn't really all that bad after all.  He lost and so too will Kasich if he makes this move.  But Kasich delusionally believes the nation needs him, and worse yet, he believes the nation wants him.

Well, he'd better become a Democrat or an Independent, because the Republican Party is done with him.  The Democrats will demand not only a full retraction of his past abortion "indiscretions", they will demand applause fore abortion.  As for the Independents.  Well, that's a pipe dream at best.

But most importantly, I've met Kasich, and he suffers from a serious case of weird compounded by a massive infection of hubris.  From my perspective, Kasich is a disgrace as a politician and a human being.

Establishment Republicans Want the Pro-Life Movement Dead

By |  January 11th, 2019

Just a few days before Christmas, departing Ohio Governor John Kasich decided to play a disappointing Santa and put a massive lump of coal in the pro-life movement’s stocking. He vetoed a bill that would have made it a felony for a doctor to perform an abortion after a fetal heartbeat is detected. Mercifully, he did at least sign a second bill which bans the most common second trimester abortion procedure, the dilation and evacuation—“D&E”—also called a “dismemberment” abortion, during which a fetus is ripped apart and extracted piece by piece.

Is any political constituency as regularly swindled and abused as are pro-lifers?

From their promises to defund Planned Parenthood to their assurances that Roe v. Wade is very soon to be on the chopping block, establishment Republicans are masters at talking a big game but doing nothing at all to advance the right to life of the unborn.

Too many Republican politicians either are cynical grifters or outright liars who don’t care a whit about the 14th Amendment’s promise of “equal protection of the laws” to all persons or the Declaration’s teaching that “all men are created equal” and “are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights”—chief among them being the right to life.

Cowardice on Parade.......To Read More....

John Kasich vetoes Ohio's heartbeat bill

Ohio Gov Kasich Vetoes Bill Banning Abortion After Detection of a Fetal Heartbeat

Lauretta Brown Dec 24, 2018

Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R) vetoed legislation Friday that would’ve banned abortion after the detection of a fetal heartbeat which is usually at around six weeks into a pregnancy.

Kasich identifies as pro-life but argued in his veto statement that the bill was likely unconstitutional and would result in a costly court battle for the state. “As governor I have worked hard to strengthen Ohio’s protections for the sanctity of human life, and I have a deep respect for my fellow members of the pro-life community and their ongoing efforts in defense of unborn life,” he said. “However, the central provision of Sub. H.B. 258, that an abortion cannot be performed if a heartbeat has been detected in the unborn child, is contrary to the Supreme Court of the United States’ current rulings on abortion. "The State of Ohio will be the losing party in that lawsuit and, as the losing party, the State of Ohio will be forced to pay hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars to cover the legal fees for the pro-choice activists' lawyers," he said.

Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds (R) signed a similar bill in May banning abortion after the heartbeat is detected. The measure has been blocked from enforcement while its constitutionality is being challenged by Planned Parenthood. .............To Read More.....

My Take - This is a governor who bypassed the state legislature to impose Obamacare on Ohio citizens, which would have bankrupted the state, but his reason for vetoing this bill is he's concerned about spending too much money.

I've met Kasich and he suffers from a serious case of weird compounded by a massive infection of hubris. He delusionally believes the nation not only wants him to be President of the United States, but needs him to be President of the United States, and is considering a run in 2020. But he's done as a Republican, that means he has to change parties and become an Independent or a Democrat. If he's planning on becoming a Democrat that means he has to abandon his position on abortion entirely, and this might be the first step.

Dennis Kucinich was a lifelong Democrat, and an anti-abortion guy, until he ran for President, then he "evolved" his thinking and all of a sudden found the murder of the innocent unborn acceptable.

Kasich calls himself a " fellow member of the pro-life community" and has signed a ban on “dismemberment” abortion, a procedure known as dilation and evacuation where the unborn child is torn apart with forceps,"' but Kasich also says he can define conservatism as he sees fit in support of left-wing initiatives. Who knows when he will decide he can define being pro-life as he sees fit.

Kasich denies leaving GOP: 'The Republican Party left me'

"I'm still a Republican," Kasich said. "I didn't leave the Republican Party. The Republican Party left me." "We should care about people from top to bottom, not just those at the top, but everybody," he told Tapper. "I can bring that party back. That's what I'm going to do in one way or another." ...........
A lame metaphor from a lame candidate. Who under the age of 30 even knows what a department store is? And Kasich is not conservative – at least as the term is defined by those who claim to adhere to it. It is no longer conservative to fight massive spending increases and skyrocketing debt. If Kasich believes he is "conservative," he is sadly mistaken. ............Read more

My Take - It's been my view that John Kasich suffers from a serious case of weird compounded by a massive infection of hubris.  It's also been my view for some time he intends to change parties, either attempting to run for President of the United States in the 2020 election as a Democrat or an Independent.  I don't think he has a chance anywhere, but it's also my belief his weird arrogant mentality has rendered him clueless and intends to officially change parties inspired by some strange delusional belief the nation needs him, or even wants him.

As for Ohio, John Kasich and the Republican party - he's toast!

John Kasich is a Disgrace

By Rich Kozlovich

Image result for cartoon of john kasich

Their first concern, and make no mistake about this, their only concern is wining. Not doing! Winning!  And in order to do that they want the Republican Party of California to become “inclusive, positive and expansive”. What does that mean?

Are the Republicans deliberately keeping people out of the party? Not that I can tell, unless you think actually having values and sticking to them is a deliberate ploy to keep membership low, rather than a strong moral stand on a broad front of issues.

Do the Republicans have a positive message? I think it certainly more positive than the Democrats who make every issue and end of the world scenario. Wasn’t it Nancy who declared the tax cut was Armageddon?

So, letting taxpayers keep more of their hard-earned money instead of wasting it on government bureaucracies is negative, but taking more and more of their money and growing government beyond sustainability and competence - thereby wasting billions - is positive.

Harry Truman was running for his own term as President he was criticized by his party for not running more like a Republican.

We already know from Kasich's positions on the Medicaid expansion is a liar and a heretic.  Will being a heretic make it easier for him to abandon his position on abortion, because once you become a Democrat, you must be a pro-abortionist or you’re toast there also.  However, if he does change parties - he should take the Governator with him.
