To Be Green is to Be Irrational, Misanthropic, and Morally Defective

By Rich Kozlovich

During the 2024 Republican "Gong Show" debate it turns out the only one who got it right over all these insane climate change initiatives, alternative energy, and fossil fuel was Vivek Ramaswamy. Why?  The evidence is overwhelming all these claims about climate changer are bogus!  Those of us who've challenged all this from day one, and I'm proud to have been one of them, aren't climate deniers.

One of my accounts asked if I believed in global warming.  I said yes, and I believe in global cooling also, but mankind doesn't have a thing to do with either, and that's what this is all about.

The Earth's climate has been changing for the entire existence of the planet, and all those changes were "all natural", and they still are!  What we deny is the blatantly, and provable, lying leftist claims that mankind is responsible, and mankind can do something about it.

The logical fallacy know as the, Appeal to Probability, is the basis for most greenie claims; AKA unwarranted scares i.e., if it is at all possible then it is probable that it will happen. Since possibility is not a valid indicator of probability, this is a false basis for action.  Furthermore....they have a record for being wrong that is almost monopolistic, and understand so much of what they claim is based on computer modeling, which I call "Game Boy Science".  You get out what you put in, and most of the time they put in only that which will give them their preconceived notions.

Most of what they say is based on “maybe” and “could be”, with a little junk science thrown in to give the appearance of fact. As a result they can't help but base their views, conclusions and actions on logical fallacies.  An appeal to probability is a justification based on probability, when an unwarranted assumption that something will happen, because it can happen, or when the odds of an occurrence are unrealistically played down in lieu of appropriate precaution.

Although a fallacy when used in absolute terms, probability can be used for many beneficial purposes. The fields of statistics, insurance, risk management, and urban planning, all use probability to determine the likelihood of risk or negative outcomes, or gain and positive outcomes, but it isn't science, and policy needs to be based on facts, not speculation and especially speculation that is so destructive to the world, and all these alternative energy and climate initiatives are just that.  Destructive to humanity, and a false scare mongering narrative to control humanity by imposing a tyrannical socialist system of world governance on humanity.

Below are some of the pieces I've viewed this week, enjoy.

The press just can't stop lying with its term 'climate deniers' August 28, 2023 Facts and opinions are different things. Here are some facts.  Here is a fact: people who disagree with the green agenda do not say that the climate hasn't changed.  We are not deniers.  What we say is that the climate has changed cyclically and naturally through billions of years, and we see no scientific data that show that humans and our use of natural resources are the cause of the minor amount of warming and small sea level change since the little ice age ended around 1860..........

Saving the Environment from Environmentalists By Edward Ring The oceans director of Greenpeace told USA Today that groups attempting to link offshore wind to whale deaths are part of a “cynical disinformation campaign.”

Whale carcasses on Martha’s Vineyard fuel speculation about wind turbines, New Bedford Light, June 22, 2023

If you want to know just how far the environmentalist movement has fallen in recent years, the destruction of marine life off the coast of Massachusetts in 2023 provides a disgraceful example. Greenpeace, an organization that not only led the earliest vanguard of the modern environmental movement, but was specifically formed to save the world’s whales, is actively denying what is likely the most egregious massacre of whales by Americans in more than a century...............

Geologist Demolishes the Climate Scare With Facts and Fun! by | Aug 28, 2023 | , - The Other Side of the Story with Tom Harris – No wonder most mainstream media steer clear of interviewing geologists concerning current climate change concerns. As demonstrated in today’s episode with guest Dr. Ian Plimer, Emeritus Professor of Geology from the University of Melbourne, Australia, today’s changes are trivial compared to natural climate change that has occurred repeatedly over the past 4.5 billion years. Consider…

Climate Change Did Not Cause The Devastation In Maui - Mark Adams - We can all agree that the wildfire in Maui was terrible. What we can’t agree on is the cause: Leftists say “climate change.” People rooted in facts say it was a combination of natural disasters and gross mismanagement driven by green zealotry. The Maui wildfire, stoked by howling winds, was a raging inferno of 1,000-degree heat that raced along, creating a hellscape at lightning speed before devouring the tourist town of Lahaina. Due to heavy winds that morning, some local schools were closed, leaving children at home while their parents went to work. Currently, the death toll stands at 114, but over 1,000 people are still missing, an unknown number of whom are children...........

Through action and inaction, Hawaiian bureaucrats helped clear land in Maui - August 29, 2023 -When you look at what happened in Hawaii, one of the things that stands out is that government agencies acted or refrained from acting in ways that were almost certain to speed Lahaina's destruction and end people's ties to the land (and their lives).  If you have a cynical, suspicious mind, it's remarkably easy to believe that this wasn't mere bureaucratic incompetence.  The wildfire that broke out on the outskirts of the town of Lahaina on the island of Maui in the early morning hours of Tuesday, August 8 destroyed some 2,200 homes, burned alive at least 114 people, including children, and displaced some 5,000 or more.  Although the exact cause of the fire is not yet established, it is now well known and documented that the government took four critical actions (or refrained from acting) in the lead-up to the fire's destruction:........

Americans Didn’t Buy Climate Narrative About Maui Fires, So Biden and Media Ready to Move On - The White House and the legacy media are ready to move on from the disastrous wildfires that ravaged Maui, but the story of what happened there shouldn’t go away. There’s now plenty of evidence that authorities were warned about the danger of dry grass that had built up on the Hawaiian island. Poor decisions and bad policies led to one of the deadliest natural disasters in American history.  Hundreds of people, perhaps close to a thousand, died in the fires. We need to understand why this happened to prevent future disasters............

A Silly Scheme by Green Zealots to Appease the Global Warming Gods? - Janet Levy - On the evening of Feb. 22, 2020, Satartia, a small town in Yazoo County, Mississippi, was enveloped in a fog of fetid gas following a loud boom. People collapsed, shaking and breathless, vehicles choked to a halt, and first responders were bewildered. It took four hours to bring the situation under control. Two hundred people were evacuated to safety; 49 had to be hospitalized. Three years later, respiratory problems still plague many residents.

Is Hurricane Idalia evidence for 'climate change'? - August 30, 2023 - n a quick pivot, media attention is shifting from Maui to Florida as Hurricane Idalia churns its way towards the Sunshine State.  Gov. Ron DeSantis has suspended his presidential campaigning for the moment to manage hurricane emergency operations.  The media were quick to blame the Maui wildfires on climate change. Later, having to eat crow and back off those claims as it became apparent that nature, combined with government and utility ineptness and inaction, were to blame for the tragedy. The media should avoid making similar false attributions for Idalia........

CLINTEL World Climate Declaration - By |August 29th, 2023|193 CommentsClimate science should be less political, while climate policies should be more scientific. In particular, scientists should emphasize that their modeling output is not the result of magic: computer models are human-made. What comes out is fully dependent on what theoreticians and programmers have put in: hypotheses, assumptions, relationships, parameterizations, stability constraints, etc. Unfortunately, in mainstream climate science most of this input is undeclared. To believe the outcome of a climate model is to believe what the model makers have put in.  This is precisely the problem of today’s climate discussion to which climate models are central. Climate science has degenerated into a discussion based on beliefs, not on sound self-critical science. We should free ourselves from the naïve belief in immature climate models. In future, climate research must give significantly more emphasis to empirical science...............

Duke Energy Slammed For Pursuing Woke ESG Goals Making Customers' Bills Higher - Spencer Brown August 24, 2023 - Duke Energy, a company that enjoys what is a near-monopoly on energy in North Carolina, is the target of a new campaign from Consumers' Research for its pursuit of woke ESG — environmental, social and governance — policies that have come at the expense of the company's customers in the form of higher energy costs amid already rampant inflation.  You see, while pursuing "net-zero" emissions goals, Duke Energy has moved away from reliable and affordable sources of energy to more costly and less-reliable wind and solar sources, leading the company to repeatedly — and predictably — raise rates for customers while warning them of more cost increases on the horizon.........
