Auguste Mayrat, writing in The American Spectator, does a great job dismantling the arguments of an article in The Atlantic by David Graham. The basic premise of Graham’s article is that everyone who graduates from an Ivy League university is smart, but such graduates like Ron DeSantis, who advocate for conservative policies, are dishonest. Smart people who disagree with leftists can't be genuine. Essentially, anyone who disagrees with leftists must be either stupid or dishonest. This sentence sums up the idiot’s thoughts:
There’s just no way such educated people would actually believe what they’re pushing.
Leftists can't stand debate or analysis of their policies, so they resort to acting like children as they seek to destroy and silence their opponents. They call us names. We are stupid, dishonest, right-wing extremists, racists, and climate change deniers. They just repeat talking points. Results and facts haven't mattered for a long time, only power for leftists. The purpose of the destruction and name-calling is to mislead the public and influence elections.............
There isn't a chasm
separating Democrats and Republicans, but an alternate
universe. Hillary Clinton, who probably believes she is president in an
alternate universe, accused Trump of living in an alternate
reality. More recently, W.H. press secretary Jen Psaki dismissed
concerns about crime as part of an alternate universe. Psaki, well-practiced in conjuring her
own peculiar reality, actually accused Fox News of being in an alternate
universe. Huh? Fox News ratings
have dominated for a remarkable twenty years. It is actually CNN that
festers in an alternate universe awash with toxic radiation; in fact,
the network is imploding into a fake news black hole.........Speaking of which, their universe is so
chaotic that they cannot link differentiated ideas or integrate thoughts
and feelings. The resultant incoherence foments mental health issues in their delusional realm. According to Pew Research, for example, White liberals are much more prone to being bonkers than conservatives.......
One of my readers recently wrote that he objected to my use of the term “educated ruling class.” Said he: Every Jill Biden with a Ph.D. in kiddie literature considers themselves ruling class. They are decidedly uneducated. Of course, I use the term while understanding that it is mostly the ruling class’s self-image. Our liberal friends believe that their right to rule issues from their education. You doubt it? Here’s an Atlantic writer, David Graham, who just can’t understand politicians like Ron DeSantis that “belie their impressive degrees from Ivy League universities by aligning themselves with the populist conservative movement in some capacity.” And then Vox Day links to a couple of pieces sneering at our ruling class. First, he looks at the way that prestigious institutions recruit.............

Dealing with crimes by ending all gun ownership is the equivalent of bringing back prohibition laws and pulling all drivers licenses, because one drunk driver ran somebody over. But why stop with guns? The next time someone gets stabbed with a knife or a fork, should we not pass legislation to force all Americans to eat with chopsticks? This is when force becomes farce. Sound like a lot of contradictions? Nothing is more contradictory than Joe Biden leaving billions of dollars worth of guns and powerful weapons in Afghanistan, and then scrambling to find a way to take privately owned guns from American citizens who have lawfully purchased them under the second amendment to our own constitution............
