I Don't Want That Stinking Tortoise!!!

By Rich Kozlovich

History is about time, and time is the great leveler of truth.  Often times I hear, "What's truth", as if truth is merely a matter of perspective. So, let's dispense with that with my irrefutable definition of truth!

Truth is the sublime convergence of history and reality.  Everything we're told has a historical foundation and context, and everything we're told to us should bear some resemblance to what we see going in reality.  If what's presented to us fails in either of those categories, it's wrong.  All that's left to do is develop the intellectual response to explain why it's wrong.

Science is supposed to be about that which is observable, provable and repeatable fact finding.  Not speculation, not what's popular, not what's politically correct, not what will get grant money, which has become the holy grail of so many researchers.  Not truth, grant money.

It's been my view that grant money has made scientific integrity an oxymoron, especially if it's government grant money.  When science becomes consensus, it's not science, it's politics. Does perspective change science?

Let me tell you about The African Tortoise Effect.

Shortly after the Second World War, the famous naturalist, Gerald Durrell, was collecting animals in Cameroon. While he generally got on well with the locals wherever he went, one frustration he encountered was that villagers might again and again offer him the same tortoise, despite his emphatic protestations that he did not want it. But they would reply "You didn't want it from that man, but maybe you want it from me."
I chuckled out loud when I read that.  Over and over again I see the same clabber about Anthropogenic Climate Change, vaccinations, pesticides, alternative energy, fossil fuels, chemicals in general, and a host of other issues touted over and over again, but by different people.  It's as if they believe having someone else touting clabber would change reality.
  • Anthropogenic Climate Change is the single most flagrant fraud and corruption of Scientific Integrity ever perpetrated on humanity.
  • Pesticides are not weapons of mass destruction, they're weapons of mass survival.
  • We're not running out of fossil fuels.
  • Chemicals make life easier and better.
  • Alternative energy is a scam.
  • And last but not least, and the real issue here.  Vaccinations!

Vaccinations do not cause autism and save untold millions of lives every year, but now here's the catch:  Perspective, and the purpose of this article.  I've always been a pro-vaccination guy, so let's make this as clear as possible.  These treatments that are being imposed on humanity are not true vaccinations, and that's not just a point of view.

For decades for something to be called a vaccination in America required the drug to immunize the person receiving the shot and prevent transmission.  These drugs do neither, so the CDC went Orwellian and changed the definition to accommodate this insane mandate fiasco, and the FDA approved them for use after less than two years of testing.  Normally it takes ten to twelve years, ergo, these drugs are in effect experimental.  And all this for a disease that has a "survival rate estimated at between 97% and 99.75%."

As time goes by, I believe there will be long term negative consequences caused by these mandates, and having a different "perspective" is not going to change reality, or the outcome.  Reality will become history, and it will condemn those who are wrong.  Having someone different spouting out provable nonsense doesn't make nonsense more real. Using Hollywood celebrities and famous athletes to do it makes it even less real, and I Don't Want That Stinking Tortoise!!!
