Qassem Suleimani, the head of the elite Quds Force in Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, fully deserves his reputation as one of the world’s leading terrorist masterminds. For a decade a more he has been the driving force behind an array of Iranian-sponsored terrorist groups, from Hizbollah to Hamas, which have orchestrated a reign of terror throughout the Middle East.........So you can imagine my amazement when, leafing through the more obscure annexes of President Barack Obama’s “historic” deal with Iran (page 86 of the annex, to be precise), I found that Mr Suliemani – as the White House no doubt now refers to him – has been granted an amnesty and taken off the list of proscribed Iranians – together with a number of senior members of the Revolutionary Guards. ........ Double Exposure: The Dems Coddling of Criminals and Iranian Terrorists

This week, the Democrats have been revealed as the party that exposes us to (1) criminal mayhem (often anti-Semitic) on the streets of New York and (2) terrorism everywhere as they consistently ignored it, indeed, paid off the perpetrators with pallets of airlifted unmarked bills and praised the worst of its perpetrators.
The President has the magical power, it seems, to get idiots and criminals to expose themselves......
Beginning on the first of this year, New York's “no bail no jail” law, enacted by the Democratic legislature and put into law by Governor Andrew Cuomo.......The consequences of this ill-conceived law were readily apparent. Seth Barron writes at City Journal:.........

There Is Something Fundamentally Wrong With Democrats

It’s odd how the political left cheers America’s shortcomings and mourns its victories. The United States killed the top terrorist on the planet Thursday, and Democrats were…upset. Perhaps “upset” is too vague, they were a combination of angry and scared.
They were angry that President Trump ordered an air strike on Qassem Soleimani, a man responsible for the deaths of more than 600 American soldiers and thousands more wounded. They tried to pretend they were glad he was dead, that he deserved to die, but their quick condemnation of the action that took him out exposed what they were really thinking. Any statement on the death of a terrorist leader containing the word “but” is not a good statement.............While all of these people, and all of their fellow travelers in Congress and the media, lament that the killing of a man actively murdering people will only lead to more murder, what do they think leaving him alive would’ve done? ................
Those who were on the national stage at the time the Obama administration decided to attack Libya were hypocritically silent then (with the possible exception of Sanders, who tried to have his cake and eat it too on the issue). Muammar Gaddafi was no longer a threat to the US or our interest, having abandoned his weapons of mass destruction program after the invasion of Iraq. But Obama and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton needed something to show they were in support of the so-called “Arab Spring.” ...........They bombed the hell out of Libya instead, for months, until Gaddafi was captured and killed. Then they walked away, claiming some kind of moral victory while leaving a failed state in their wake which became a bastion for more radicalism..............
Inaction hasn’t worked, appeasement hasn’t worked, giving them hundreds of billions of dollars didn’t buy any good will. But if Iran wants to fight elsewhere, if Iran wants to continue to kill Americans, they’re now on notice that there will be a price to pay for it.

Historic amnesia plagues Progressives about Iran's ongoing war against America

We know that Progressives were horrified that President Trump ordered a military strike against an Iranian general who masterminded some of Iran's most heinous attacks against American troops. They think it's not cricket for America to kill its military enemies. For that reason, a consistent theme from Progressives is that Trump has plunged us into war. Even those who should know better keep saying that. Ilhan Omar, whose fealty is disconnected from American interests, insisted that Trump is leading America into war to distract from his domestic troubles:............All of the above pronouncements ignore reality. The killing of Iranian terror-meister Qassem Suleymani in a targeted U.S. air strike in Baghdad on Thursday will have a dramatic impact on Iran’s ability to conduct oversea terrorist operations and the stability of the Iranian regime. But the real impact, one can legitimately wager, will be quite different from what you’ve been hearing so far from most of the U.S. and international media. Rather than engendering some massive Iranian “retaliation,” as many talking heads have been warning, I believe this strike will throw the Iranian regime back on its heels, as wannabe successors contemplate their careers vaporizing in a U.S. drone strike and Iran’s civilian leaders fret that they have been exposed as emperors without clothes. Put simply, the aura of the Iranian regime’s invincibility is over. They have pushed us and our allies repeatedly, and have been encouraged by the modest response from U.S. political and military leaders until now. But with this strike, the gloves are off. And the leadership in Tehran – and more importantly, the people of Iran – can see it. Suleymani was not some run-of-the-mill terrorist. He was worst of the worst; a man with more blood on his hands than even Osama bin Laden. Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen, Afghanistan, 9/11, Benghazi: all of them were his doing. My Take - In spite of all the sabre rattling and hostile rhetoric coming out of Iran, this has to shake them badly. This means America has "eyes" on everyone in their leadership, and has the technology to take out anyone they please. More importantly, this was a moving target that wasn't a random strike. They had to know he was there and when he was going to be there. That meant intelligence agents on the ground. Intelligence agents that are potentially high up in their system. That has to scare them even more.

When Shiite members of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) attacked the American embassy in Baghdad, in a deliberate recreation of the attack on our embassy in Tehran that had ushered in a new age of Shiite terror, the media was quick to label it 'Trump's Benghazi'.
The parallels are certainly there.
In both Benghazi and Baghdad, Islamist terror militias who we thought were our allies turned on the United States. In both cases, there was nothing surprising or unexpected about this inevitable development to anyone except foreign policy experts and the media.
And, in both Benghazi and Baghdad, the Obama administration's policy of cultivating Islamic terrorists had come home to roost.
The Islamists who attacked the embassy were not Trump's allies, but Obama's allies.
When Hadi al-Amiri, the head of the Badr Brigade, the former military wing of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, came to the White House, it was in 2011, not 2017.
The close IRGC ally was welcomed by Barack Obama, and played a role in the embassy attack. The IRGC, Iran's global terror hub, had been listed as a terror group by President Trump, a move resisted by Barack Obama dating back to his time in the Senate............To Read More.....
