The Shadow Conspirators Who Undermined the Republic

The puppet-master-in-chief lurking in the shadows may still be "leading from behind." The question again: Is the United States still a Constitutional Republic?

 Nearly one month ago, there was a lengthy piece in Time Magazine that required a serious response in order to help “normal people” make some sense of what was being written beneath the surface or between the lines of propaganda. I offered my viewpoint, but there was way too much embedded in Molly Ball’s article to ignore. I recommended that the article be read despite her annoying, self-congratulatory tone and the attempt at the ideological brainwashing of naive readers. The article titled, “The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election” should be read by people who love the Republic to become acquainted with how contorted and inverted such people’s conception of justice in this nation has become. However, her article reveals more.

“The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign…”

“The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign…” serves more than a simple roadmap of how people who hated President Trump worked within the shadows (certainly the left- leaning mainstream media would not have called attention to the covert effort to fully undermine election integrity. The writers hired by the elitist media moguls work for pay to misrepresent the truth at best, and at their worst to promulgate propaganda to the masses. They are the enemy of the people despite what Wolf Blitzer, or the other media mouthpieces would like to tell themselves. Molly Ball is one of them who must believe in the cause she touts in the article. Her article reveals some in the inner media circles had the knowledge of what was going on “in the shadows.”  

It is safe to assume that if Ball knew what was transpiring, there were some within the inner circles of the media moguls who knew and condoned the nefarious activities. Ball was paid for her glowing account. According to what citizens were expected to believe:

The scenario the shadow campaigners were desperate to stop was not a Trump victory. It was an election so calamitous that no result  could be discerned at all, a failure of the central act of democratic self-governance that has been a hallmark of America since its founding.

Such an account is actually an account of a network of conspirators on the left who did want to stop a Trump victory and an account of how they plotted to undermine a federal election—one way or another. Those were the words of Nancy Pelosi as she made the public threat that Donald Trump would not be POTUS “One Way or Another.’ It may have been for the best that the election was stolen, otherwise one would hate to dwell on what the ‘other’ method of removing the president from office may have been. U.S. history demonstrates that the Democrats made good on a plot to deal with President Trump, “One Way or Another”. The anniversary of that dark episode is just one month away.

Despite the propagandist point that the conspirators did not aim at Trump, the Democrat Party leadership had been aiming to get Trump out of office “one way or another” since before he even took office. The reality is well documented by their own attempts time and again to rid the United States of the scourge of Donald Trump and his band of dastardly “deplorables” any way possible. This reality was also demonstrated by two other documented efforts: 1) the farcical impeachment of a private citizen, and 2) the concerted focus on marginalizing Trump supporters. The evidence of this is sourced from those on the Left as well as those in the Never Trumper camps. These are the two broad groupings that Ball referenced as working together for the sake of preventing the “failure of the central act of democratic self-governance that has been a hallmark of America since its founding.”       

That is precisely what the conspirators orchestrated: a failure of the sacred right of a free people to have their voices heard in a fair and honest election. Ball’s attempt at whitewashing the theft of a federal election, and all the leaders of both political parties accepting the results of a stolen election should give everyone pause to consider whether the United States is still a Constitutional Republic, or whether it is not. Either the public has been lied to by the mainstream media, by ‘journalists’ like Ball and her comrades, or the public has been lied to by the alternative media sources who have revealed alleged fraud in several ways. 

Yet, assuming the worst, and truth exists,  it is not what people want to know, the more relevant question is: Who are the ones who benefited from such an outcome? It is not hard to connect the dots. The criminals who stole the election benefited by being elected via fraud or electronic vote tabulation manipulation. Their accomplices in the media are attempting to justify it. Those who were labeled “conservatives,” which translates to “Republicans,” or translates to Never Trumpers, who were part of the conspiracy, are also complicit with undermining the sacred right of a fair and honest election. And, the criminals who were elected are swiftly working to undermine all future elections by passing HR1.

One question regarding the AFL-CIO is how long have they been tampering with elections?

Yet, Ball’s “Secret History of the Shadow Campaign…” reveals more specifics about the conspirators. Molly Ball admits that “much of this activity took place on the left…” On the surface, the primary organizer, or “architect” of the conspiracy was Mike Podhorzer, the senior adviser to the president of the AFL-CIO, now the largest union federation in the U.S. It is ironic that AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka criticized Joe Biden’s actions on his first day in office to cancel the Keystone XL pipeline. But, one should assume that Trumka was behind the conspiracy if his senior advisor was the shadow “architect” of the theft of the election. Trumka’s well-documented ‘criticism,’ was anemic and amounted to a weak attempt to appear he was standing up for the workers who lost their jobs. Trumka went so far as to reveal the consistency of his conspiracy as he defended Biden saying that “he believes Biden regrets his handling of the executive order.” Biden may still not even know he signed such an executive order.

One question regarding the AFL-CIO is how long have they been tampering with elections? It is understandable that a chief advisor like Podhorzer would have been trusted with such a mission. Big Labor has been organizing to influence elections legally as well as illegally for a number of years. Additionally, labor unions in general have had socialist ties dating back to the early 1900s. Who else would gain by a conspiracy to undermine a national election? The Socialists. Who else participated in this conspiracy to steal the election besides the unions? The Socialists. Maurice Mitchell, who is the national director of the “Working Families Party” was quoted in Ball’s article as praising Podhorzer: “Pod played a critical behind-the-scenes role in keeping different pieces of the movement infrastructure in communication and aligned.”

Whose socialist-laden legacy was being threatened by Trump?

The “Working Families Party” was created by Daniel Cantor, a former staffer for Jesse Jackson‘s 1988 presidential campaign. But, before he founded a more ‘sanitized’ aspect of a Marxist political party, he founded the Marxist-driven “New Party” in 1992. Their objective was to get leftist or socialist candidates elected to public office in as many states as possible. Their hope was to push the “Democratic” Party much further to the left, with the ultimate goal of establishing a Marxist party platform. This was an attempt to create an umbrella under which disparate and disenfranchised Marxist groups could collectively gain political power. It was somewhat successful in initially attracting many members from the Democratic Socialists of America and ACORN. One of their most famous members was Barack Obama, whom the New Party helped to elect to the Illinois Senate in 1996. 

Whose socialist-laden legacy was being threatened by Trump? If readers have been connecting the dots, clever patriots may now have a much more clear picture of the chief conspirator. The puppet-master-in-chief lurking in the shadows may still be “leading from behind.” The question again: Is the United States still a Constitutional Republic?

 The recent Time Magazine article written by Molly Ball, a literal walking-talking personification of a conglomeration of Leftist mainstream media outlets, proclaimed that the 2020 presidential election was “protected” by a secret alliance of Left-wing and Marxist-oriented politicos as well as conservatives (read: Never Trumpers) seemingly aided with big bucks. 

The article, “The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election,” which is almost a mini-novel  in length, crows glowingly how democracy has been “saved” from an election that was nearly stolen by President Donald Trump. The Communists would likely call Ball a “useful idiot”

I truly recommend reading Ball’s narrative, though the self-congratulatory tone is a bit annoying, it is educational on several levels. The lengthy article (6,800+ words) says much about Ball, who just published a book on Nancy Pelosi, which says even more about the writer, but this article is likely a good start on her next book. Yet, once people read this chronicle, it is doubtful there will be much of an appetite for more ideological brainwashing. Especially, the Time piece should be read by people who love the United States to get an idea of just how twisted and inverted such people’s conception of justice in this nation has become. The truly frightening thing is that Ball and her various Leftist media employers may actually believe in the “cause” she claims to be fighting for. The Communists would likely call Ball a “useful idiot.” 

Yet, Ball may have revealed too much in her pride-filled proclamation of victory. It is an actual confession of sorts of how people who hated Trump worked in the shadows to eliminate election integrity in the name of “protecting” or “fortifying” the election. The article is essentially a timeline or roadmap of how people driven by hate convinced themselves that they were truly in the right because they have identified what they have deemed evil for all of the rest of us. The divulging of such arrogance and elitist superiority in the guise of working for the people of this nation does  seem to be screaming for fanfare from the masses for a “service they have done for America.” 

An important lesson to be learned for those Christians, conservatives, and patriots who read through this article, is that the definition of the foundation of the United States of America is totally different for people like Ball and all of the Leftist media moguls she has written for in her life. This is an essential point because the belief system of the MSM moguls may appear to be connected to the majority of the Democrat-Leftist-Marxist-Progressive intellectuals and activists. But, Time and other Leftist aligned MSM outlets are simply the vehicles for the propaganda and they are paid well for their services. They also are paid well for all the campaign ads that all the candidates buy. The media moguls are more likely fueled by big corporate profits and happy with the assets they seem to continually accumulate over time..................To Read More......

Obama is a coward.

Trump will call someone a name while Obama will anonymously source a smear through three levels of staffers, political allies and reporters. Trump called CNN “Fake News” on camera. Obama sourced Operation Rushbo, targeting Rush Limbaugh, through a variety of White House people and left-wing allies. Trump will boot reporters he doesn’t like. Obama authorized secretly hacking the emails of a FOX News reporter. Trump had an openly hostile conversation with the Prime Minister of Australia. When Obama wanted to call Netanyahu “chickens__t”, he did it by having one of his people anonymously plant it with a reliable media sycophant, The Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg, before later having a spokesman disavow it. Poultry ordure doesn’t smell any worse than that.

But Obama is very careful to launch dirty attacks without getting any on his hands. The insults are anonymously sourced. The retaliation comes out of the bowels of the bureaucracy. And he only finds out about it from the media. That allows him to retain what he cares about most: his popularity.

Obama and his people like to think that their dishonesty is a superpower. They pat themselves on the back for stabbing everyone else in theirs. Sometimes their smugness over how well they use the media to lie and smear gets out of control. Like the time Obama’s Goebbels, Ben Rhodes, boasted to the New York Times about how easy it was to fool everyone about the deal to protect Iran’s nuclear program.

After Trump won, it was business as usual.

Obama put on his best imitation of decency while his people went on preparing to undermine Trump at every turn by smearing him, wiretapping him and doing everything possible, legally and illegally, to bring him down. It was the same phony act that he had pulled for eight years, bemoaning the lack of bipartisanship while ruling unilaterally as a dictator, destroying the Constitution while hectoring us about our values, denouncing racism while organizing race riots, complaining about the echo chamber while constructing one and lecturing us on civility while smearing anyone who disagreed.

Trump’s killer instinct lies in understanding that hypocrisy conceals weakness. That is what powered him through the primaries and then through an election. His instinct is to grapple directly with a target. That is also the source of his popularity. Meanwhile the source of Obama’s popularity is his hollow likability. He’s likable only because he is almost always too cowardly to say what he really thinks.

Americans have seen the real Trump: because he is, in his own way, always real. Obama is always unreal. When Trump and Obama have appeared together, Obama seemed less real. He is a brand wrapped in all sorts of images that have nothing to do with who he really is.

Trump has always understood that Obama’s bravado was hollow. Obama boasted that he would have defeated Trump. Then he went on to try to do that with attacks from behind the scenes routed through government loyalists and media operatives while pretending that he had nothing to do with any of it.

But Obama and his people had learned nothing from how Trump had won the election. When Trump is attacked, his response is to go directly for the attacker, no matter what the argument is or how it’s sourced. Trump doesn’t get bogged down in debates or befuddled by media echo chambers that are so totally enveloping that they resemble reality. He just smashes past them to the source of the smear.

That is exactly what he did by calling out Obama’s eavesdropping. He bypassed all the layers that Obama had put in place to insulate himself from involvement in the attack, the media echo chamber, the staffers who handed information to the media and the government loyalists who provided the information to the staffers, to strike at the wizard behind the curtain.

And, in doing so, he made a mockery of Obama’s bravado.

When Obama boasted that he could have beaten Trump, he meant that he could have done so using the same tactics that worked so well against McCain and Romney. Like most of the media, he had failed to understand that these tactics don’t work against Trump because he is a moving target. Trump created his own brand. Unlike most presidential candidates, he doesn’t need consultants, and unlike most Republicans, he isn’t worried at all about likability. That’s why he won an election and still has majority support for his policies, including the most controversial ones, despite poor likability.

Obama is obsessed with being liked. In the media space, effective messaging depends on likability. But Trump upended the same formula that had ruled presidential politics since Nixon vs. Kennedy. Instead he casually tosses likability aside to grapple with opponents, rivals and enemies. Trump won this election by forcing opponent after opponent to either fight him on his own terms or back away.

This includes the media, which has tried to grapple directly with him, with disastrous results.

The Obama machine, a massive propaganda matrix that alternates between lying and gaslighting, is not built to handle Trump. And Obama isn’t built to handle Trump either. Obama’s hipster transgressiveness made him seem cool when up against Romney or McCain, but everything Trump does embodies real transgressiveness. The machine is built on limiting the freedom of action of Republicans by intimidating them with political correctness and potential smears. But Trump doesn’t care about any of that.

Trump is willing to throw everything into an attack. Obama’s people build complicated traps that he walks through without thinking twice. Obama plays chess. Trump overturns the board.

Obama’s strategy was to create so much chaos that the White House wouldn’t be able to get anything done. Instead it would ricochet from scandal to scandal. Similar tactics had proven quite effective in the second terms of Reagan and Bush. But Trump thrives on chaos. Many of his supporters want him to be a disrupter. Chaos translates to effectiveness. The more noise he makes, the more he’s changing things.

President Trump has made it clear that in response to these attacks, he will directly challenge Obama. And that breaks down Obama’s entire plan of using proxies to do his dirty work while he gives inspiring speeches. Trump will not let Obama get away with attacking him and then hiding behind phony idealism. And he intends to make the Obama machine into the issue in these attacks.

Obama’s plan involved a gradual emergence to deliver more sanctimonious lectures about “who we are”. It did not involve getting directly into a fight with Trump. But, as his other opponents discovered, Trump doesn’t give you a choice.

The favorite quote of Clinton’s damage control man Chris Lehane came from Mike Tyson. “Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.” Obama’s people like to think that this is what they’ve done to Republicans, Iran Deal opponents, police officers and even President Trump. But Trump is showing them what the expression really means.

Obama had a plan. Then Trump punched him in the mouth.

The plan to entangle key Trump people in scandals hit a roadblock. Instead the wiretapping accusations have become the issue. And Obama’s people have been forced to come out and offer cautious denials.

And Obama and his dirty tricks have been dragged out from behind the curtain.

Trump and Obama are two very different men. Their personalities, as much as their politics, will define this conflict. The media routinely accuses Trump of having totalitarian instincts. But the true totalitarians are men like Obama those who hypocritically use the machinery of government to go after their opponents while pretending to be virtuous. President Trump has always fought his fights directly.

And the battle for America has only begun.

Observations From the Back Row: Agents of Shadow

I don't know about anyone else, but even a newsie like me can hardly stand watching or reading the news lately. It's become patently obvious to me -  we've lost our minds.   We've abandoned any pretext at civilized behavior because we've abandoned traditional wisdom in favor of the latest philosophical flavor of the day, and that flavor is laced with the toxic compounds of leftism -hate, envy and greed. 

A friend of mine recently had dinner with a middle aged couple where the wife couldn't keep from letting them know she hoped Trump would be killed or die.  My friend and his wife are traditionalist conservatives, and I think this woman knew it.

Liberals are constantly whining and howling about compassion and inclusion when in reality everything they do or promote is filled with loathing of traditional values, including wanting to kill the President of the United States.  And they're saying it openly without one bit of condemnation from anyone on the left, including the media who would have howled like werewolves at a full moon if even one person had even mildly intimated they wanted Obama to die, let alone kill him.

Snoop Dogg made a video shooting Trump dead, and Madonna threatened to blow up the White House. And Dogg's trash son says he's going to "pimp out" the First Lady. Can you imagine what would have happened if that was said about Obama's wife? Where's the outrage?  Where are Obama and his wife in all of this?  Where's Oprah?  Where's Jesse Jackson?  Where's the NAACP?   I would think if they had an ounce of decency in them they would have stepped up and shot down this disgusting behavior.

Also, it's illegal to threaten the life of the President of the United States.  Why hasn't someone been charged?  Why hasn't there been so much moral outrage these lunatics are ostracized by civilized people?  How deep is this contaminated thinking?  More importantly - how deep is this contamination within government?

Recently we heard of a Secret Service agent who had her laptop stolen from a parked car.  In that computer was the floor plans for the personal home of the President of the United States and his family in Trump Tower - now in  unauthorized hands - thanks to the Secret Service.

We also now know the thief - having been caught on camera - knew exactly where to go, when to go and what he was looking for.  So I think these questions have to be asked:

• Was this theft allowed? 
• Was this theft planned?
• If this theft was planned, for what purpose? 
• Was this theft was allowed and planned was it part of a conspiracy by a Secret Service agent, or possibly agents, and with whom?

Is this irrational paranoia, or is this leftist contamination gone deep? 

The Secret Service agent in charge of the Denver office just couldn't help going on Facebook to tell the world how she would rather go to jail than take a bullet for the President. Well, I wouldn't be all that crazy about taking a bullet for anyone either.....but that's not my job.....it is hers, and it's a job she applied for. 

I'm sure they must have asked if she would be willing to sacrifice herself for the President during the interview process, and she must have said yes or she wouldn't have been hired.  Right?  But no matter, everyone who applies for that job knows that's part and parcel of the package.  For her to say what she's saying now is .....what? Treasonous? After all, why else would she post this online unless she wanted to encourage others to develop the same attitude - but not tell anyone - allowing the President to be killed.   Does that sound like treason to anyone besides me?  And she's still employed!

Then we have three intruders who entered the White House grounds and one made it to the White House.  Does this give anyone pause wondering just how seriously these people take their oaths of office - or worse yet - just exactly where their loyalties reside?

It's bad enough when the federal judiciary ignores their oath to uphold the Constitution, but what happens if the Secret Service becomes a part of a Soros funded and Obama orchestrated Shadow Government? 

Is this mere paranoia or just another conspiracy theory?  Of course we all know there's no such thing as a conspiracy unless it's a vast right wing conspiracy, but none the less, let's explore this for a minute.   

Most Presidents can't wait to leave Washington, but not Obama, who seems to think he's still the President, and is working to mobilize thousands of volunteers in a nationwide movement known as Organizing for Action (OFA), which adores anything that embraces Marxism.

'“Unbeknownst to most Americans, Barack Obama is the first ex-president in 228 years of U.S. history to structure and lead a political organization, a shadow government, for the explicit purpose of sabotaging his successor—duly elected President Donald Trump,” writes Scott S. Powell for American Thinker. Obama’s group, OFA, has been organizing with the Soros-linked Indivisible."'

And who exactly are these thousands of volunteers and what are they to do?  First, Scott Foval, National Field Director for Americans United for Change is quoted as saying,  “I’m saying we have mentally ill people, that we pay to do s–t, make no mistake”.  It's their job to protest continually in order to gain political clout and undermine the real President.  Protests which are being organized by members of the Workers World Party and Freedom Road Socialist Organization among others. 

It's almost surreal when reality starts to look and sound like an Avenger science fiction movie with the heroes fighting Hydra - a secret, subversive shadow government with tentacles reaching into every government agency, exerting influence and operating the levers of power to overthrow the legitimate government.    In this fiction movie it's easy to determine the moral imperative presented - they're the bad guys and they're committing treason and need to be defeated in order to save the nation and the world.  

So can someone explain to me why this is different?

FSB, Climate Cabal expand power and wealth, by targeting financial and insurance industries

The $1.5-trillion Climate Crisis industry is not about to go quiet into that dark night, or to strut but an hour upon the stage, to then be heard no more. In these desperate times, it is unleashing even more sound and fury, and assaulting new targets, in a frantic effort to expand its heavily subsidized global empire.

 

The Donald Trump Administration and Scott Pruitt EPA continue to emphasize fossil fuels, job creation and economic growth, and deemphasize the Obama obsession with climate change. News headlines hail the shale revolution’s new world order, a huge oil discovery in Alaska and declining OPEC clout. As German industries head to foreign shores and 330,000 Deutsch households cannot afford electricity due to soaring prices, its Chancellery Minister announced to thundering applause that Germany would no longer pursue its unilateral climate, CO2-reduction, energy efficiency and renewable energy policies.

 

Britain and Australia are also second-guessing their wind, solar, biofuel and climate commitments. China, India and a hundred other emerging economies continue to build more coal-fueled power plants, expand vehicle fleets, and import more oil and gas, to modernize and improve living standards. The future of the Paris climate semi-treaty and Global Climate Fund wealth redistribution scheme are increasingly in doubt.

 

That’s why, as the July 2017 G20 economic summit in Hamburg, Germany draws near, the Climate Cabal is in overdrive. Alarmist scientists, politicians, activists, industrialists and financiers are ramping up their rhetoric about the massive, imminent climate crisis allegedly facing our planet, unless we slash our carbon dioxide emissions, by keeping centuries of oil, gas and coal reserves locked up in the ground.

 

That means companies that own those reserves, finance or insure fossil fuel projects, or hold investment interests in those reserves or projects will end up with trillions of dollars in “stranded assets” – energy that will be made permanently off limits, once the world has shifted to a totally “decarbonized” global economy. In fact, selling off holdings in fossil fuel enterprises will not be nearly enough. “The freed-up assets must be redirected to more sustainable businesses.”

 

At least that is the view of AXA Insurance climate and sustainability director Christian Thimann – who also serves as vice-chair of the international Financial Stability Board’s Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosure. He intends to harness the FSB’s significant power and influence to advance his ideologies and investments – doing so in league with an unbelievable army of like-minded interests, all of whom have enormous political and financial stakes in the outcome of this global policy battle.

 

Among them are UBS Financial Services and the $5-trillion BlackRock global financial management firm, which now has an index fund for people and organizations that want to divest from companies that BlackRock, AXA and the Cabal have targeted with their anti-carbon campaigns. The tax-exempt anti-carbon pressure group Natural Resources Defense Council has put $70 million into the fund.

Former NYC mayor Michael Bloomberg – having given millions to tax-exempt anti-fossil fuel agitator groups – is now chairman of the FSB’s Climate Financial Disclosure Task Force. Not surprisingly, it is allied with the state attorneys general who spearheaded the nasty campaign to silence and punish energy companies and think tanks that dared to question the “97% consensus” on manmade climate chaos.

 

Also onboard are state and city comptroller and treasurer offices (CA, CT, NY, PA, RI, VT), various state and city employee pension funds, the Ceres Investor Network on Climate Risk, and numerous radical environmentalist groups like the Rainforest Action Network, Sierra Club, Union of Concerned Scientists and Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility, notes E&E Legal senior fellow Chris Horner.

 

They will all “profit off environmental policies that they advocate with very close friends in government,” while “amassing wealth in large part through government contracts,” Horner observes – adding that his organization will “work aggressively to reveal the unethical actions” of every party involved.

 

The unethical behavior begins with claims about climate cataclysms that are not happening in the real world. Dangerous, unprecedented, runaway warming is not occurring. Seas are rising at seven inches a century, not 20 feet. Hurricanes and tornadoes, floods and droughts have not increased in frequency or intensity. There is no proof that manmade CO2 drives climate change or that it will be catastrophic.

 

Equally deceptive are claims that the technologies and business interests advocated by the FSB, Climate Cabal and their political comrades are in any way “sustainable.” As any rational analysis demonstrates, the metals and other raw materials required, human rights affected, cropland, habitat, wildlife and human health impacts involved, and massive taxpayer and consumer subsidies needed for wind and solar power, ethanol, biodiesel, wood pellets, anaerobic digesters and other “renewable” energy schemes make one thing absolutely clear: the entire sustainability concept is politicized, agenda-driven and unsustainable.

 

All these inconvenient truths notwithstanding, the FSB has announced that it is going to establish protocols that will supposedly improve the financial sector’s ability to “incorporate climate-related issues in financial reporting” and “enable stakeholders to understand concentrations of carbon-related assets in the financial sector and the financial system’s exposures to climate-related risks.”

 

Translated into plain English, this means the FSB will help pressure groups with a political/financial stake in the outcome to identify, target, stigmatize, harass and intimidate any entities that they deem are too involved in fossil fuels or insufficiently invested in renewable energy and sustainable businesses. It plans to work with the above-identified activists to secure “voluntary disclosures” and other compliance.

 

In practice, this means relying less on the federal government and more on friendly international, state and local governing bodies, agitator groups, organizations like the Climate Accountability Scorecard, and the so-called “Equator Principles” that financial institutions “should follow” in energy investing. Their primary targets for these “name and shame” campaigns will likely include the World Bank, private banks, insurance providers, institutional investors and their advisors, pension funds and universities.

 

The California Insurance Commission has helpfully launched a Climate Risk Carbon Initiative, a searchable database that will make it easy for attack groups to develop target hit lists. A primary tactic will be accusing targets of having inadequate “plans on climate change preparedness and sustainability,” to justify efforts to damage stock portfolio values and demand defunding or divestment.

 

Meanwhile, major financial and debt issues are growing for numerous nations, states and cities. The FSB and Climate Cabal want us to ignore them, focus on climate change – and have the G20 do likewise.

 

Even though it is already overly complex, the current financial reporting system works. It deals with real, measurable, familiar risks, and helps countries address and overcome those risks. Politicizing the system, and forcing it to refocus on conjectural, exaggerated and fabricated climate and sustainability risks would upend the entire international energy, insurance and financial system. It would bring disastrous results for jobs and families – but no climate, environmental or sustainability benefits. And it would do absolutely nothing about the unreliable energy, health risks, environmental impacts, child labor and other problems embedded in the renewable and sustainable schemes the Cabal promotes so passionately, and deceitfully.

 

But the rewards of this FSB/Climate Cabal deceit are enormous – incomprehensible to normal people. Says Thimann: “Over the next 15 years, an estimated $93 trillion will be needed for investments in low-carbon infrastructure.” That’s five times the size of the entire 2015 US economy!

Perhaps worst of all, these FSB and other government officials, unelected bureaucrats, industrialists, and tax-exempt pressure groups are colluding to enrich and empower themselves … and fundamentally transform the global economy – to our detriment, and especially the detriment of the world’s poorest families – using our taxpayer, consumer, and investment, retirement, insurance and pension fund money!

 

Congress, the Trump Administration and responsible state officials need to investigate, terminate and punish this deception, self-dealing, extortion, and incalculable harm to businesses, workers and families that rely on reliable, affordable carbon-based energy (and will for decades to come).

The Deep State

It does in fact exist, but not how you think.

There is something ominous-sounding in the deep state. It implies that beneath constitutionally ordained systems and principles, there is a deeper and more potent power in control of the nation. It implies a unified force deeply embedded in the republic that has its own agenda and the means to undermine the decisions of elected presidents and members of Congress. Its power derives from control of the mechanisms of power and being invisible. The deep state is, in fact, a very real thing. It is, however, neither a secret nor nearly as glamorous as the concept might indicate. It has been in place since 1871 and continues to represent the real mechanism beneath the federal government, controlling and frequently reshaping elected officials’ policies. This entity is called the civil service, and it was created to limit the power of the president. JIM WATSON/AFP/Getty Images Prior to 1871, the president could select federal employees. He naturally selected loyalists who would do his bidding. Occasionally, he also would hire people as a political favor to solidify his base. And on occasion, he or one of his staff would sell positions to those who wanted them for a host of reasons, frequently to make money from the positions they were given. Carl Schurz, a German-born Union Army general, proposed the idea of a nonpolitical civil service. It would be both a meritocracy and a technocracy – not his words, but his idea. Civil servants would be selected by competitive exams measuring their skills for the job. And the job of civil servants would be to implement laws passed by Congress in the manner the president wanted them enforced. Previously, all government employees – save those from the two other branches of government – served at the pleasure of the president. This was no longer true, and it meant that a civil servant could not be fired on political whim, but rather with cause, such as failing to do his job competently or refusing to obey instructions from the office of the president. The intent was to limit the president’s power because the expectation of presidential probity had proven problematic. But there was another reason. During and after the Civil War, government laws and policies had become far more complex with more long-lasting effects on society. A presidential term lasted four years; policies could last for generations. If administrators were replaced every time a president left office, as previously had been the case, there would be no continuity in government. New administrators would constantly have to learn the complexities of their jobs, and by the time they mastered it, they would have to leave. Government operations had outgrown a president’s term. But a deeper concept was at work here that went beyond the United States, originating in Europe. That idea mandated a separation between the political state and the administrative state. As the state acquired more responsibility and its tasks became more complex, government administration had to be taken away from the politicians, who were unskilled at the job. This was in many ways the origins of technocracy, a doctrine that stated that a government run by experts broadly guided by their political masters was the only way to correct a democratic republic’s shortcomings. Elected politicians provided direction, while technocrats provided expertise, advice and continuity. On the surface, this was reasonable. It anticipated the dramatic growth of the federal government and created a structure to cope with its complexity. While this evolution was not included in the Constitution, it was not unconstitutional because the president and Congress remained in charge. But like all things, it had unexpected consequences. By stripping the president of the right to fire those whose performance did not meet his standards, the solution posed a problem: If a civil servant could only be fired for cause and did not serve at the pleasure of the president, how could the president be certain that the policies being followed were legislated and ordered by him? As the government grew, the solution was to use a class of administrators appointed by the president. These were the Cabinet members, whose task it was to understand the president’s will and verify that civil servants were doing as they were told. In other words, a “super” civil service was created that served at the president’s pleasure and sought to control a civil service that could not easily be dismissed for insubordination without a breathtakingly complex process. This super civil service, known as C-List appointees, was answerable to the president. But because there were thousands of them, they rarely met with the president and took their marching orders via a chain of command. That chain of command began with the president and continued through the ranks of the Cabinet, C-List, and finally, civil servants. If you have ever played the game “Telephone,” you know how garbled messages can become. In addition, C-List members, who could and would be fired if an opposing party won the election, were constantly engaged in maneuvers to secure different jobs, promote reputations, and above all, avoid blame for failures and gain fame for successes. This was further compounded by the rise of independent agencies like the Federal Reserve, the CIA, and countless other autonomous and semi-autonomous agencies created to protect not only their permanent staff from political pressure but also the entire agency. The desire to limit political pressure – also known as the power of the president – was intellectually defensible, but in practice created a system that could not be readily controlled or even understood. Among the independent agencies, even decision-making was opaque. Between the entities reporting to the president, there was a layer of political appointees, which created turbulence between the president and the civil service. Civil servants do not stage coups – they become civil servants because the pay is reasonable, job security is high and benefits are excellent. Many could earn far more in other fields, but they rationally decide their preference. And many deeply believe in their mission. The CIA, which has its own civil service system, is not manned by massive risk-takers (apart from a handful who actually do take risks). Taking control of the government – beyond leaking a few documents – violates the basic principle of government service: bureaucratic caution. For the most part, government civil service personnel are cautious people who genuinely believe in their mission – continuing to do tomorrow what they did yesterday. Their form of resistance is built around passive resistance. Demands for change manifest not in an uprising, but in delay, complexity and confusion. The issue is not that there is a deep government, but that the deep government is no secret. It was created with the purpose of limiting presidential power, and in part, the will of the people. In separating politics from administration, the creation of the civil service weakened the political system and strengthened the administrative one. That is what was quite openly intended. There is a layer of employees in the turbulent boundary who have ambitions far beyond their jobs. This layer of employees, particularly those approaching retirement, also exists in the independent agencies. The former are bright young men and women who wreak havoc with ambition; the latter are men and women who have spent their careers struggling to do their jobs against a political system they regard as incapable of understanding what they do. This is natural given that they also have spent their careers making what they do mysterious and incomprehensible. As they age, they become more conservative (in the sense of preserving what is) and see themselves as the guardians of ancient verities. They frequently face a president who believes that the experts are the problem, not the solution. In many countries, this would involve tanks in the streets. In the United States, it means intense and creative name-calling, either directly or through leaks to The Washington Post (for the second rank) and The New York Times (for the top rank). I recall the rage in the Department of Labor at President Ronald Reagan for firing air traffic controllers. I noted the anger at President John F. Kennedy’s false news about a missile gap in the military-industrial complex and the schadenfreude at the Bay of Pigs. A serious issue arises when an elected president faces a revolt of those who putatively serve him. Whatever those people may think, they serve the president, who is elected according to the Constitution. The problem is that not serving at the will of the president and failing to respect election results – including leaking unverified claims about the president to the media – is inappropriate. Most presidents have been cowed by this, but Donald Trump gives as much nonsense as he gets. The point is that the idea that there is a deep state hidden from view that really controls things is absolutely true, except for the fact that it is not only visible to everyone who looks but is written into law. It exists not because of conspiracy, but because of the desire to shield government from politics. I understand the logic, but the result has unexpected and unpleasant consequences. A discussion of the deep state is possible only by really not understanding that the U.S. government functions as it does because the deep state was actually seen as a good idea. For someone not wishing to do research on this, there is a BBC comedy called “Yes Minister,” and its sequel, “Yes, Prime Minster,” about the battle between the elected British government and the permanent government of civil servants. It is hilarious, and if nothing else, will show you that the British are as insane as the Americans, but much more polite.

Obama's Third Term is Here

After Trump secured the nomination, Obama’s people filed a wiretapping request. As he was on the verge of winning, they did it again. After he won, they are doing everything they can to bring him down.

It was always going to come down to this.

One is the elected President of the United States. The other is the Anti-President who commands a vast network that encompasses the organizers of OFA, the official infrastructure of the DNC and Obama Anonymous, a shadow government of loyalists embedded in key positions across the government.

A few weeks after the election, I warned that Obama was planning to run the country from outside the White House. And that the “Obama Anonymous” network of staffers embedded in the government was the real threat. Since then Obama’s Kalorama mansion has become a shadow White House. And the Obama Anonymous network is doing everything it can to bring down an elected government.

Valerie Jarrett has moved into the shadow White House to plot operations against Trump. Meanwhile Tom Perez has given him control of the corpse of the DNC after fending off a Sandernista bid from Keith Ellison. Obama had hollowed out the Democrat Party by diverting money to his own Organizing for America. Then Hillary Clinton had cannibalized it for her presidential bid through Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and Donna Brazile. Now Obama owns the activist, OFA, and organizational, DNC, infrastructure.

But that’s just half the picture.

Obama controls the opposition. He will have a great deal of power to choose future members of Congress and the 2020 candidate. But he could have done much of that from Chicago or New York. The reason he didn’t decide to move on from D.C. is that the nation’s capital contains the infrastructure of the national government. He doesn’t just want to run the Democrats. He wants to run America.

The other half of the picture is the Obama Deep State. This network of political appointees, bureaucrats and personnel scattered across numerous government agencies is known only as Obama Anonymous.

Obama Inc. had targeted Trump from the very beginning when it was clear he would be the nominee.

Trump had locked down the GOP nomination in May. Next month there was a FISA request targeting him. The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court denied the request, and it is still unknown whether the request targeted Trump, or only his associates, but it’s silly to pretend that the submission of such a request a month after he became the presumptive GOP nominee was apolitical.

The second, narrower, FISA request came through in October. This one was approved. The reason for getting a FISA request in October was even more obvious than June. October is the crucial month in presidential elections. It’s the month of the “October Surprise” when the worst hit pieces based on the keenest opposition research is unleashed. Obama’s opposition research on Trump involved eavesdropping on a server in Trump Tower. Nixon would have been very jealous.

After the election, Obama Inc. began to spread out its bets. Some of his people migrated into his network of political organizations. Others remained embedded in the government. While the former would organize the opposition, the latter would sabotage, undermine and try to bring down Trump.

An unprecedented campaign for full spectrum dominance was being waged in domestic politics.

Political opposition wasn’t a new phenomenon; even if a past president centralizing control of the organizational and activist arms of his party to wage war on his successor was unprecedented. But weaponizing unelected government officials to wage war on an elected government was a coup.

Obama Anonymous conducted its coup in layers. The first layer partnered congressional Democrats with OA personnel to retain control of as much of the government as possible by the Obama Deep State. They did it by blocking Trump’s nominees with endless hearings and protests. The second layer partnered congressional Democrats with the deeper layer of Obama operatives embedded in law enforcement and intelligence agencies who were continuing the Obama investigations of Trump.

This second layer sought to use the investigation to force out Trump people who threatened their control over national security, law enforcement and intelligence. It is no coincidence that their targets, Flynn and Sessions, were in that arena. Or that their views on Islamic terror and immigration are outside the consensus making them easy targets for Obama Anonymous and its darker allies.

These darker allies predate Obama. The tactics being deployed against Trump were last used by them in a previous coup during President Bush’s second term. The targets back then had included Bush officials, an Iran skeptic, pro-Israel activists and a Democrat congresswoman. The tactics, eavesdropping, leaks, false investigations, dubious charges and smear campaigns against officials, were exactly the same.

Anyone who remembers the cases of Larry Franklin, Jane Harman and some others will recognize them. Before that they were used to protect the CIA underestimates of Soviet capabilities that were broken through by Rumsfeld’s Halloween Massacre and Team B which helped clear the way for Reagan’s defeat of the Soviet Union.

Under Bush, the Deep State was fighting against any effort to stop Iran’s nuclear program. It did so by eliminating and silencing opposition within the national security establishment and Congress through investigations of supposed foreign agents. That left the field clear for it to force a false National Intelligence Estimate on President Bush which claimed that Iran had halted its nuclear program.

Obama broke out the same tactics when he went after Iran Deal opponents. Once again members of Congress were spied on and the results were leaked to friendly media outlets. Before the wiretapping of Trump’s people, the NSA was passing along conversations of Iran Deal opponents to the White House which were used to coordinate strategy in defense of the illegal arrangement with Islamic terrorists.

The same wall between government and factional political agendas that Nixon’s “White House Plumbers” had broken through on the way to Watergate had been torn down. NSA eavesdropping was just another way to win domestic political battles. All it took was accusing the other side of treason.

And worse was to come.

During the Iran Deal battle, the NSA was supposedly filtering the eavesdropped data it passed along.

In its last days, Obama Inc. made it easier to pass along unfiltered personal information to the other agencies where Obama loyalists were working on their investigation targeting Trump. The NSA pipeline now makes it possible for the shadow White House to still gain intelligence on its domestic enemies.

And the target of the shadow White House is the President of the United States.

There is now a President and an Anti-President. A government and a shadow government. The anti-President controls more of the government through his shadow government than the real President.

The Obama network is an illegal shadow government. Even its “light side” as an opposition group is very legally dubious. Its “shadow side” is not only illegal, but a criminal attack on our democracy.

When he was in power, Obama hacked reporters like FOX News’ James Rosen and CBS News’ Sharyl Attkisson. He eavesdropped on members of Congress opposed to the Iran Deal. Two men who made movies he disliked ended up in jail. But what he is doing now is even more deeply disturbing.

Obama no longer legally holds power. His Deep State network is attempting to overturn the results of a presidential election using government employees whose allegiance is to a shadow White House. Tactics that were illegal when he was in office are no longer just unconstitutional, they are treasonous.

Obama Inc. has become a state within a state. It is a compartmentalized network of organizations, inside and outside the government, that claim that they are doing nothing illegal as individual groups because they are technically following the rules within each compartment, but the sheer scope of the illegality lies in the covert coordination between these “revolutionary cells” infecting our country.

It is a criminal conspiracy of unprecedented scope. Above all else, it is the most direct attack yet on a country in which governments are elected by the people, not by powerful forces within the government.

"We here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain,” President Lincoln declared at Gettysburg. “That this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom -- and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.”

Obama’s shadow government is not just a war on President Trump. It is a war on that government of the people, by the people and for the people. If he succeeds, then at his touch, it will perish from the earth.

Obama’s third term has begun. Our Republic is in danger.
