The Need For a 28th Amendment Becomes More and More Apparent!

I think we need to thank Joe Biden.  Really, I do!  And the reason why is he's nominating people for important federal positions and the federal judiciary that are absolutely unqualified, and in many cases, to put it kindly, strange, and the Democrats are approving them.  He hired Sam Brinton, and the left thinks you're the problem:

"The rest of us all wondered what kind of vetting process was involved when this person was identified as the most qualified individual to oversee America's nuclear policies.  "BIGOT!" they screamed at us when we gave the natural side-eye to this obviously disturbed individual."

That's why we need to thank Ole Joe because it's now clear and obvious, even to the most casual observer, the only people more dangerous to America than the Russians, Iranians and the Chinese, are the American left, and Ole Joe's nominees represent the epitome of that failed, irrational, misanthropic and morally defective philosophy of leftism.  But these people can be fired, and when an administration changes, appointed employees are gone.  However, that's not the case for the judiciary. 

I love watching Senators Kennedy, Hawley, Cruz and Blackburn when they question these misfits Biden is nominating for positions in the federal government, and the federal judiciary. They're questioning demonstrates just how corrupt, incompetent and unqualified these people truly are. 

With a few exceptions, most of them aren't very bright or very knowledgeable, and those he's nominating for the federal judiciary are three things.  They are en mass; 1) Radial leftists. 2) Anti-American, and 3) because they're young, they'll be making decisions that are absolutely destructive to the Constitution and the American people for the rest of the lives, and no one can do anything about it because the Founding Fathers foolishly created lifetime appointments for the federal judiciary, with the reasoning lifetime appointments would prevent partisanship, which the members of that Convention battled over.  

The wrong ones won and those who lost were absolutely prescient, as everything they feared has come to pass.

Senator Kennedy asked one nominee if she knew what the Second and Fifth articles of the Constitution were.  She didn’t know.  He asked another nominee to tell him about New York Times v. Sullivan.  He thought it was a first amendment issue, but he didn’t know anything about it otherwise.   

Even the bug man knows what the Second and Fifth Articles of the Constitution are about, and absolutely knows New York Times v. Sullivan was a landmark First Amendment case, and one that needs to be revisited in my opinion.  I've been a structural pest control professional for forty years, with absolutely no formal legal training whatsoever, so you have to ask yourself, if a bug man knows these things how can graduates of law schools, seeking positions in the federal judiciary no less, not know the answers to these questions? 

Finally someone is really stepping up to challenge this insanity.  Rubio Places Hold On Biden Nominee For Allegedly Covering Up Sexual Assault.  

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla) is vowing to stop seven Biden Administration nominees, including one who allegedly ignored sexual assault accusations........Rubio announced on Friday that he is placing a hold on the former mayor of Los Angeles........amid allegations that he covered up a sexual assault committed by a top aide.  The other six nominees Rubio is attempting to stop include a pro-abortion extremist and someone who did legal work for a country where human rights are abused.......an abortion extremist, someone with no diplomatic or investment experience, and an individual who has supported a policy of engagement with Cuba’s murderous dictatorship. I will not turn a blind eye to these absurd nominations, which will hasten America’s decline,” Rubio said. ..

Biden has been nominating political hacks with either no experience, are radical anti-America leftists, or have been abject failures, just like Buttigieg and  Eric Garcetti, and those who are stunningly strange like Samuel Otis Brinton, and doing so for a good reason.   That's the Democrat party!  

Every judicial nomination Biden makes must be challenged with every legislative tool available to Senators, and they need to start openly attacking the Democrat members of the Judicial Committee, as did Senator Cruz in this video.

Let's have no doubt about what leftists want.  Total and complete domination of America.  They're destroying any potential for harmony and making tribalism the structure of American culture.  They loath everything that made America great, and are doing everything they can to replace the American culture with Marxist totalitarianism.  

For those who read history books this has been well known and obvious, and it's been going on for over 125 years, but now the public is finally seeing who and what these misfits are, what they're all about, and how dangerous they are to freedom and the continued existence of the Constitution of the United States, the greatest secular document ever produced by man, which America's law schools and the federal judiciary has been undermining for most of the twentieth century.

The need for age and term limits on the federal judiciary has never been more obvious, and we can thank Joe Biden for that.

Why Harris, Booker, and Klobuchar will never be President

The calculated Russia hoax devised to bring down a presidential candidate, president-elect and then president, is the most serious and egregious political scandal in US history. Second may be the Kavanaugh hearings. So determined to not let Brett Kavanaugh be seated on the Supreme Court, the demented Left decided to invent an equally monstrous lie to prevent the confirmation of Trump's choice for the Justice to replace Anthony Kennedy.

I think that every Democrat on that committee had to know that the accusations against Kavanaugh were false, that Blasey-Ford was a plant, a willing dupe in the Democrat scheme to destroy a good man for their political purposes. The entire fiasco was so unspeakable that in a just world, all the perpetrators would be in prison for fraud, Diane Feinstein among them.

Three of those perpetrators are currently candidates for President, Harris, Booker and Klobuchar. Each of them was party to and is guilty of callously trying to destroy a good man with a hoax as false as the Trump-colluded-with-Russia deception.

 Every Democrat on that committee who so delighted in sliming Justice Kavanaugh is a disgrace; not one of them deserves a seat in the Senate, let alone the Oval Office. Each of them is as diabolical as the cabal that hatched the Russia hoax to take Trump down and out. Not one of them should be seeking the highest office in the land. Like Comey, Brennan, Clapper, et. al., they too should be headed for prison.

They had to know that Blasey-Ford's ridiculous allegations were nonsense, fabricated end entirely unproveable. And still they went for the jugular, despite Kavanaugh's parents, wife and daughters being in the room. Contemptible hardly describes the character of these people and the rest of the Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee. They all embarrassed themselves. My Take - The author goes on to say this corrupt spectacle by these leftists should be a warning to the American public as to what the Democrat party has become.  Unfortunately it wasn't for many.  In point of fact many loved this outrage to destroy an honorable man, not to mention the pain this must have caused his family.  My grandfather used to watch the news and shake his head and say in Serbian, "no shame", at such behavior. That was the ultimate insult from him.

It is a joke. Inasmuch as the nominee already has been through the wringer of Senate Judiciary Committee hearings — remember what those are like? — what is it that can be said further in thirty hours about a person’s qualifications that cannot be said in ten hours, five hours, three hours? The whole aim of the Democrats has been to slow down the confirmation process, to jam the machinery, and to sabotage movement in the name of “The Resistance.”
 

Right now, twelve highly gifted people are awaiting confirmation to the federal appellate circuits as United States appeals court judges, and approximately sixty others are awaiting confirmation as federal trial judges in their new roles as United States district court judges. At the rate of thirty hours per nominee, seventy-two such dragged-out confirmations would require 30 x 72 = 2,160 hours of Senate time for all to be confirmed............ Even at the blistering rate of convening the Senate for 24 hours per day, those 2,160 hours would take 90 days..............more days of clock ticks if you also would like to see the confirmation of a Secretary of Defense, Interior Secretary, Attorney General, and such. (And the Democrats complain about shutting down the Government?)

That focus is exactly what McConnell should be doing. The current Senate term has two years to go. Even at the pace of a 24/7 full-court press, it will take more than three months to get the current six dozen judges and federal cabinet appointments through. •  ”Given your membership in this organization, what assurances can litigants have that you will deal with reproductive rights and abortion issues fairly and impartially?”

Before the committee was Omaha lawyer Brian C. Buescher, nominated by President Trump to represent the District of Nebraska on the United States District Court. Buescher is also a long-time member of the Knights of Columbus, an iconic service group of nearly two million Catholics, worldwide, that recruits members for volunteer work and fundraising for charitable causes. The Knights of Columbus have a distinguished reputation for selfless public service, charitable work and the promotion of Catholic values both within and outside of the church. The ugly specter of religious bigotry reared its disgusting head during Senate confirmation of the nomination of Brian Buescher for a federal judgeship. The Constitution’s Article VI, Clause 3 clearly specifies that “no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States,” but that must be news to Senators Mazie Hirono and Kamala Harris.
Ed Condon of the Catholic News Agency reports:

A judicial nominee faced questions from Senators this month about whether membership in the Knights of Columbus might impede his ability to judge federal cases fairly. The Knights of Columbus say that no candidate for public office should have to defend his membership in a Catholic service organization........ In written questions sent to Buescher by committee members Dec. 5, Sen. Hirono stated that “the Knights of Columbus has taken a number of extreme positions. For example, it was reportedly one of the top contributors to California’s Proposition 8 campaign to ban same-sex marriage............”

My Take - Let's face it if you're a believing Christian or Jew and a Democrat, you're a heretic.  Why is that so hard to grasp?  Sen. Hirono claims centuries long values on abortion and homosexuality are now...."extreme"!  That was the same meme used by Ted Kennedy against Judge Bork, an esteemed jurist versus a drunken murderer. 

Ted Kennedy was a piece of trash that had the nerve to call anyone "extreme" and the media and the Democrat Party not only let him get away with it, they in fact reveled in it.  This kind of smear by Democrats goes back a long way and it's now taken thirty years for the public to finally grasp what's really happening. 

So much to love in Senate Judiciary Committee downsizing plan

It’s been reported that the new, larger Republican Senate majority is going to exercise its power and downsize the Senate Judiciary Committee. It’s a brilliant plan for two different reasons.

The first reason is that fewer Democrat senators will have the opportunity to showboat and eat up precious time with the sort of antics they displayed in the confirmation hearings for Justice Kavanaugh. Confirmation of more federal judges at the district court and appeals court levels is the most important priority for Senate Republicans, and this proposal would streamline and therefore speed that process.

But the second reason is delicious, because thanks to longstanding Senate tradition, the member who would lose a committee seat first would be the senator with the lowest seniority. And that would be Senator Kamala Harris of California, who has held office only since 2016. Not only is she transparently running for the 2020 presidential nod, she is a shameless demagogue.

My Take - Well, the left is frothing at the mouth over the potential loss of Kamala Harris on that committee claiming ......wellll.....the usual racial, feminist, identity politics clabber.  But that's the Democrats problem.  They're the ones who will decide, not the Republicans.  The Democrats can save her, if one of the senior Democrats vacates his seat on that committee to appease the leftist loons in their party.  Will that happen?  Who knows now!

For all the Democrat complaining, no one is stopping them from attending and asking questions.

You may recall that just after Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation, Democrats agreed to confirm 15 federal judicial nominees in exchange for Mitch McConnell putting the Senate in recess so that vulnerable Senate Dems could return home to campaign.

#TheResistance was upset. While they can’t stop nominees, they demand resistance for resistance sake. But Senate Democrats had other priorities. So Senate recess was a time for Republicans to halt the judicial confirmation train from rollin’ down the tracks?

Kavanaugh/Ford Media Aftermath

Such media coverage, such media frenzy, such insanity, such amazing disrespect for common decency. It's disgusting how they've lied and destroyed a good man's life and caused so much suffering for he and his family, and for what?  Political gain. I've not seen anything as disgusting as this since the Thomas hearings. 

I thought Ted Kennedy was the epitome of disgusting.  I was wrong. 

One thing seems clear to me though, and that's Americans generally recognize a set up, they recognize disgusting behavior, they recognize corruption, and they resent it.

As progressives witness the death of their political fantasies, character assassination is all they have left. It’s uncanny the way perhaps the three most distinguished Supreme Court nominees in my lifetime—Robert Bork, Clarence Thomas and Brett Kavanaugh—have all been brutally slimed.  Those nominees who sailed through, and now sit on the court, are all distinguished citizens with admirable careers, but their places in the legal history of the United States are unlikely to be as significant as those of Bork, Thomas and Kavanaugh. In other words, it strikes me as notable that the best of the best get the worst treatment. I think we’d do well to ponder this..............

Thomas was eventually confirmed, but by a razor thin margin. There was an FBI report, but then-Senate Committee chair Joe Biden (D-DE) said it was worthless to cite. Why?   “FBI explicitly does not, in this or any other case, reach a conclusion, period. Period,” said Biden at the time.............

In an interesting term of events, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford's attorney, Michael Bromwich, sent emails to the Senate Judiciary Committee asking them to limit which press will be given access to Thursday's scheduled hearings, The Washington Times reported. Emails obtained by The Washington Times said Bromwhich has requested:

• Access for three robocams which he wants ran by "the CSPAN TV pool."
• Three specific wire services.
• Photographers from the Associated Press, Reuters and one other identified media outlet.
• A pool reporter for newspapers and magazines.
• Space for a radio reporter.

The only time committees tend to place limitations on press at hearings is when space is a concern or when witnesses need their identities to be kept secret................

Hearing in Doubt? Christine Ford’s Lawyer Rips Senate Plan to Have Prosecutor Ask Questions: Not ‘Fair and Respectful’

Dr. Christine Blasey Ford‘s legal team has sent a letter (which can be seen below via NBC’s Frank Thorp) to the Senate Judiciary Committee amid continuous negotiations ahead of Thursday’s scheduled hearing.............     

In the letter addressed to Sen. Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA), Ford’s legal team cites Sen. Majority Leader’s Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) speech on the Senate floor on Monday afternoon as “flatly inconsistent” with Grassley’s promise of a “fair and credible process.”

“In our view, the hiring of an unnamed ‘experienced sex crimes prosecutor’ as Mr. Davis described in his email, is contrary to the Majority’s repeated emphasis on the need for the Senate and this Committee’s members to fulfill their constitutional obligations,” attorney Michael Bromwich wrote. “It is also inconsistent with your stated wish to avoid a ‘circus,’ as well as Dr. Blasey Ford’s repeated requests through counsel that senators conduct the questioning. My Take - She can't come because she's too traumatized to fly, she doesn't know what to wear, she wants an investigation, etc, etc, etc, or she won't testify.  What is with this "negotiating to testify" crap?  She's the one that made charges against Kavanaugh, not the other way around.  The burden of proof is on her, and either she comes in and testifies or she's done and the vote is taken.  End this nonsense, because they're never going to be able to please her or any of her lunatic leftist friends. 

The Senate’s Choice: Confirm Kavanaugh or Confirm the Obscene Smear Campaign

Democrats turned the confirmation hearings for Brett Kavanaugh, a distinguished federal judge and well-respected community member, into a bizarre circus of interruptions, both from shrieking audience members and from Democratic committee members who complained obsessively on document production, despite the fact the custodians of Bush presidential records had cleared for release every individual document requested by Democrats.

Now we know that while they were preening and posing and proclaiming “I am Spartacus!” they were also doing precisely what they were falsely accusing Republicans of — concealing a document. Specifically, concealing a letter from Christine Blasey Ford accusing Kavanaugh of sexual assault somewhere in suburban Maryland sometime in the 1980s. That document — which, if not concealed prior to the hearings could have been resolved through background investigation or through public interrogation — was instead held by committee Democrats for leaked public release (in violation of Senate rules) after the hearings, on the eve of a scheduled vote.

The strategy? Delay, delay, delay. Win the Senate. Keep the seat open through the next presidential election. Win the White House. Appoint a liberal. We know that because the Democratic point woman in the smear campaign, Senator Mazie Hirono of Hawaii, was asked point blank by Politico if a Democratic Senate would keep the Kavanaugh seat vacant for two full years and she said: “I think we’ve had those types of vacancies before… so the world does not come to an end.”

Kavanaugh to Give Senate Calendar Supporting Denial of Allegations

Judge Brett Kavanaugh plans to provide the Senate Judiciary Committee his calendar from 1982, which supports his claim to have never attended a party like the one Christine Blasey Ford described, the New York Times reported Sunday.

While it does not disprove Ford’s allegations, the calendar indicates that Kavanaugh was away on vacation for much of the summer of 1982 and does not include mention of a small party like the one where he is said to have pinned down Ford and tried to remove her clothing.

Ford claims the assault took place when she was 15 and Kavanaugh was 17, the summer prior to his senior year at Georgetown Prep. During those months, the calendar reportedly lists football workouts, basketball games and movie dates, as well as a number of parties accompanied by names of friends that differ from the attendees Ford listed.

Prediction: Kavanaugh will not be confirmed before the midterms

Democrats are desperate and unhinged.  Their outrageous behavior during the Brett Kavanaugh hearings and their apparent willingness to do anything to block his confirmation should make conservatives extremely nervous.  Just when it seemed that their circus-like antics were going nowhere, Dianne Feinstein revealed she was sitting on a letter from a woman named Christine Blasey Ford, who was claiming she was sexually assaulted in high school by Kavanaugh at a party some 36 years before. The details were fuzzy – she couldn't remember the time or place – and she was insistent on remaining anonymous............

At this point, two things are becoming painfully clear.  First, Ford is never going to testify.  Because the Democrats have finally gained traction in their effort to delay the Kavanaugh confirmation, they will stand by and gleefully watch Ford and Katz as they continue to make unrealistic demands of Kavanaugh and the committee and smile to themselves as publications like the Atlantic write headlines that state, "Kavanaugh Bears the Burden of Proof." 

Incredibly, despite the protection of our Constitution, the left believes that men accused of sexual assault by women are guilty until proven innocent............. Democrats are desperate and unhinged and will stop at nothing to block his confirmation.  Shortly after the committee finally votes to confirm Kavanaugh and send the matter to the Senate floor (or maybe shortly before), expect another allegation to surface – perhaps a woman who's willing to come forward and corroborate Ford's 36-year-old claims against Kavanaugh.  Or perhaps there will be another woman claiming she's been assaulted................ My Take - The thing that's abundantly clear to me is this woman needs to be sued, forced into court, forced to present her information and force to face discovery.  That's where the lies start to crumble.

Feinstein is conspiring to destroy Kavanaugh

Democrat leaders and their liberal aides, along with professional agitators, are all intermingled and conspiring together to achieve the same objective — in this case, to spike the confirmation of President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh.

Hill Republicans claim Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein engineered the knee-capping of Kavanaugh from both inside and outside Congress — and they have a strong case, though Feinstein insists she merely dealt cards she was handed.

No Hearing; Just Vote on Kavanaugh Nomination

This is about preventing a conservative justice from being added to the Supreme Court, nothing more.

Senate Democrats’ blatant abuse of the hearing process, their “delay, delay, delay” strategy, continues to pay dividends. Putting a stop to it would be long overdue.

Thursday was the day Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s manifestly meritorious nomination to the Supreme Court should have been voted out of the Senate Judiciary Committee and sent to the full Senate. Instead the nomination languishes because of an eleventh-hour stunt pulled by committee Democrats — led by ranking member Senator Dianne Feinstein (D., Calif.).

Notwithstanding that Feinstein was well aware almost three months ago of a flimsily supported allegation against Kavanaugh — to wit, that 36 years ago, as a 17-year-old high school student, he groped and tried to force himself on a 15-year-old girl at an underage beer party — the senator sat on the information rather than submitting it to the hearing process. Although she met face-to-face with Kavanaugh and later questioned him when he was under oath at the hearing, Feinstein did not utter a word about the ancient, unverifiable claim to Kavanaugh.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Sen. Chuck Grassley (Joshua Roberts/Reuters) He must not let Democrats delay the Judiciary Committee’s hearing or turn it into even more of a farce. So now it looks like next Thursday.

On Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s manifestly meritorious nomination to the Supreme Court, what was supposed to be the vote out of the Senate Judiciary Committee this past Thursday now appears to be sliding into a hearing to be held next Thursday. Or, who knows, maybe a Thursday or two after that. Or maybe The First of Never — though even that would undoubtedly be postponed to The Twelfth of Never.

Delay, delay, delay. It is what the Democrats want and it is what the Democrats are getting. They took the measure of their opposition and figured the GOP would bring a knife to a gunfight.
