Many Democratic politicians and left-leaning journalists are today twisting themselves into multi-dimensional pretzels, trying to explain why they so uncritically accepted Blasey Ford’s weak, inconsistent, contradictory, and uncorroborated story, but refuse to extend the same courtesy to Reade.

One concocted narrative is that Blasey Ford’s allegations are somehow more credible than Reade’s.

They are not.

If the self-professed women’s advocates were less hypocritical, they would give the same treatment to Creepy Joe Biden that they gleefully inflicted on Brett Kavanaugh. But the ice is starting to crack—whether he wants to or not, Joe Biden will be unable to resist an investigation of some sort for much longer. My Take - For years I kept seeing leftists self-righteously declare they were so much smarter than conservatives.  Well, maybe it's true. To do the mental gymnastics they must go through to make what the say and do seem right must take amazing intellect.  

Then again, there may be there's a second explanation.  

Maybe it isn't intelligence.  Maybe they suffer from an extreme case of weird compounded by a massive infection of hubris.  As a result that makes them believe the unbelievable so effectively they are incapable of recognizing their lack of values and consistent thought. 

I'll go with number two.

The Romans did not have faith in their many gods in the modern sense of the concept. Rather, they maintained a "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" contractual relationship with their deities. Roman daily life included ubiquitous rituals, sacrifices, and flattery to the gods to win material advantages – a bountiful harvest, protection of the city, good health. Today, ordinary people enjoy a surfeit of material comforts even the Roman emperors would have envied. If Christine Ford's lawyer needs a lawyer, the fat lady's singing

America now knows that Dr. Ford had her high school friend, the retired FBI-DOJ special agent Monica McLean, who is also a lawyer, involved with her and present for her Senate testimony. Thanks to Wall Street Journal reporting, we now find out that lawyer McLean was so integral to the conspiracy that she tried to lean on a key witness to "clarify her statements."

This has backfired spectacularly and did absolutely no good for Dr. Ford, since the denial of any knowledge about the alleged event from the witness remained 100% absolute. In fact, on a human level, it was tragic that she threw a childhood friend so under the bus in putting a mysterious health issues in play with millions watching. Dr. Ford turns out to be a nasty, expedient person.

That bonehead move of Dr. Ford's lawyer McLean showed pure desperation and panic to engage in potential witness-tampering.  That event has now forced Special Agent Monica McLean to retain a personal lawyer for the coming investigation of her.............It was our unofficial but powerful "tell," direct and simple: if your target's lawyer needs a lawyer, they are all really in big trouble..........Read more

My Take - Make no mistake about this. Someone's going to pay for this, and hopefully someone will end up in jail. Perjury used to be considered a serious crime. Then Bill Clinton perjured himself triggering an impeachment, but the Democrats in the Senate didn't think perjury, which is a serious felony usurping the power of the courts causing a miscarriage of justice, didn't even think it was a High Crime or a Misdemeanor.   We were told over and over again by the Democrats and the media it wasn't about lying under oath, it was about sex and character doesn't count.

Amazing! Now character counts, and who knows, maybe perjury will be considered a serious crime once again.

As this whole obscenity unfolded it must have occurred to everyone they've been so amazingly stupid in their statements, clumsy in their testimony, and stunningly arrogant. As her story kept changing there was an unending parade of new and worse accusations in a "desperate attempt to chum the waters with innuendo and insinuation". 

No evidence, no substantiation, no corroboration, no supporting witnesses were needed. The accusations were enough - he was guilty and if you didn't agree the leftist would riot and demonstrate, and Senators who refused to go along with this new standard of guilty until proven innocent would be attacked.  

It should have been clear from the start all this would come out in the open at some point. Ford's original statement sounded totally fishy and completely unraveled day after day. Since this whole story was such obvious horsepucky, why would they take such a chance? 

 Because the deep state has been getting away with this for decades, but under the Obama administration they knew absolutely nothing would happen to them, but they just haven't gotten used to the idea that dog won't hunt anymore, and as soon as Sessions and Rosenstein are fired and replaced with real hunting dogs, a lot of Deep Stater’s will end up in jail.

Rachel Mitchell, the prosecutor who questioned Christine Blasey Ford last week during a hearing in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee, wrote a five-page memo that was released on Sunday that outlines why she would not bring criminal charges against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

Kavanaugh/Ford Media Aftermath

Such media coverage, such media frenzy, such insanity, such amazing disrespect for common decency. It's disgusting how they've lied and destroyed a good man's life and caused so much suffering for he and his family, and for what?  Political gain. I've not seen anything as disgusting as this since the Thomas hearings. 

I thought Ted Kennedy was the epitome of disgusting.  I was wrong. 

One thing seems clear to me though, and that's Americans generally recognize a set up, they recognize disgusting behavior, they recognize corruption, and they resent it.

This won't backfire on the most slimy committee members like Feinstein, Booker,  Hirono, Harris, Blumenthal and Leahy, because they're absolutely representative of their constituents. But it will have an impact on others running for office.

The attorneys for Chistine Ford, who has accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her 36 years ago in high school, are now raising objections about the scheduled hearing for this Thursday because a sex-crimes attorney may question Ford and this doesn't seem "fair and respectful" toward Ford, they claim.

They are hinting at the possibility that Ford may not show up on Thursday and may not testify, a decision that was predicted by former U.S. Attorney Joe diGenova last week when he said Ford's requests were "another delaying tactic" because she does not want to testify for it will make her "look like the loon that she is." Dr. Christine Blasey Ford‘s legal team has sent a letter (which can be seen below via NBC’s Frank Thorp) to the Senate Judiciary Committee amid continuous negotiations ahead of Thursday’s scheduled hearing.............     

In the letter addressed to Sen. Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA), Ford’s legal team cites Sen. Majority Leader’s Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) speech on the Senate floor on Monday afternoon as “flatly inconsistent” with Grassley’s promise of a “fair and credible process.”

“In our view, the hiring of an unnamed ‘experienced sex crimes prosecutor’ as Mr. Davis described in his email, is contrary to the Majority’s repeated emphasis on the need for the Senate and this Committee’s members to fulfill their constitutional obligations,” attorney Michael Bromwich wrote. “It is also inconsistent with your stated wish to avoid a ‘circus,’ as well as Dr. Blasey Ford’s repeated requests through counsel that senators conduct the questioning. My Take - She can't come because she's too traumatized to fly, she doesn't know what to wear, she wants an investigation, etc, etc, etc, or she won't testify.  What is with this "negotiating to testify" crap?  She's the one that made charges against Kavanaugh, not the other way around.  The burden of proof is on her, and either she comes in and testifies or she's done and the vote is taken.  End this nonsense, because they're never going to be able to please her or any of her lunatic leftist friends.

I am again amazed at the craven cowardice of our politicians and even so-called conservative pundits. If I hear one more time from Fox News commentators that we must take Christine Blasey Ford’s accusation seriously, I will barf. Would they take it seriously if it were directed at them?
 

Even the fascist left would be outraged if such charges were leveled at them. The difference is, the left would ignore it if it involved one of theirs.

The news media are hoping someone will treat Dr. Ford harshly – that is, honestly – so they can sic the vipers from among the far-left feminist radicals and biased media on them and sink Brett Kavanagh.

Let me be the first.

Ford’s charges are not only outrageous, they are evil. Why do I say that?

This woman is not a dingbat; she is obviously bright and therefore knows the allegations she made are not provable – that the truth absolutely can never be known. She also knows no sane legal authority would take such a case, 36 years old, in which the accuser does not know the year or place it happened, and in which all three people she claims were present as eyewitnesses deny her allegations. Therefore, knowing this vile and unprovable allegation could destroy a man and his family, why did she do such a thing?

Kavanaugh’s accuser is lying. Her story has so many holes, it looks like Swiss cheese. Decency Dies in the Senate

For those of us closely following the Judge Brett Kavanaugh confirmation hearings, I think I can reliably describe us as outraged and saddened at the lengths to which the Democrats are willing to go to deny Kavanaugh a seat on the Supreme Court. Until a week ago, the left had been unable to block Judge Kavanaugh’s elevation to the highest court due to his sterling record of judicial temperament, and the quality of prodigious rulings in his current role as Circuit Court Judge for the DC Court of Appeals.

It’s important to note that several of his rulings have been upheld by the Supreme Court -- unlike the oft overturned Sonia Sotomayer. So, while not totally unexpected, it’s still a bit shocking at how the left is ruthlessly shoving aside all semblance of fairness, especially the time-honored principle of innocent until proven guilty.

In their manic, ends-justifies-the-means destruction of Judge Kavanaugh, the Democrats are crossing a line that shreds a universal principle of justice, replaced by mob rule and guilt by accusation. Kavanaugh to Give Senate Calendar Supporting Denial of Allegations

Judge Brett Kavanaugh plans to provide the Senate Judiciary Committee his calendar from 1982, which supports his claim to have never attended a party like the one Christine Blasey Ford described, the New York Times reported Sunday.

While it does not disprove Ford’s allegations, the calendar indicates that Kavanaugh was away on vacation for much of the summer of 1982 and does not include mention of a small party like the one where he is said to have pinned down Ford and tried to remove her clothing.

Ford claims the assault took place when she was 15 and Kavanaugh was 17, the summer prior to his senior year at Georgetown Prep. During those months, the calendar reportedly lists football workouts, basketball games and movie dates, as well as a number of parties accompanied by names of friends that differ from the attendees Ford listed.

Prediction: Kavanaugh will not be confirmed before the midterms

Democrats are desperate and unhinged.  Their outrageous behavior during the Brett Kavanaugh hearings and their apparent willingness to do anything to block his confirmation should make conservatives extremely nervous.  Just when it seemed that their circus-like antics were going nowhere, Dianne Feinstein revealed she was sitting on a letter from a woman named Christine Blasey Ford, who was claiming she was sexually assaulted in high school by Kavanaugh at a party some 36 years before. The details were fuzzy – she couldn't remember the time or place – and she was insistent on remaining anonymous............

At this point, two things are becoming painfully clear.  First, Ford is never going to testify.  Because the Democrats have finally gained traction in their effort to delay the Kavanaugh confirmation, they will stand by and gleefully watch Ford and Katz as they continue to make unrealistic demands of Kavanaugh and the committee and smile to themselves as publications like the Atlantic write headlines that state, "Kavanaugh Bears the Burden of Proof." 

Incredibly, despite the protection of our Constitution, the left believes that men accused of sexual assault by women are guilty until proven innocent............. Democrats are desperate and unhinged and will stop at nothing to block his confirmation.  Shortly after the committee finally votes to confirm Kavanaugh and send the matter to the Senate floor (or maybe shortly before), expect another allegation to surface – perhaps a woman who's willing to come forward and corroborate Ford's 36-year-old claims against Kavanaugh.  Or perhaps there will be another woman claiming she's been assaulted................ My Take - The thing that's abundantly clear to me is this woman needs to be sued, forced into court, forced to present her information and force to face discovery.  That's where the lies start to crumble.

Long-Time Friend of Christine Blasey Ford Contradicts Her on Party

A friend of the woman who has accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault has denied that she was at the party where the alleged assault occurred.

The Senate Judiciary Committee reached out to Leland Ingham Keyser, a friend of Christine Blasey Ford. Ford claims Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed when he was drunk, covered her mouth, and tried to remove her clothing at a party in the early 1980s when they were in high school.

Keyser’s lawyer, Howard Walsh, responded to the committee late Saturday in a written statement.

“Simply put, Ms. Keyser does not know Mr. Kavanaugh and she has no recollection of ever being at a party or gathering where he was present, with, or without, Dr. Ford,” the attorney wrote.

Keyser — a lifelong friends of Ford’s according to Walsh — is the third individual to deny suggestions that they were at the alleged party. Mark Judge and Patrick J. Smyth have also issued statements rejecting Ford’s recollection..........To Read More....

Watching the confirmation hearings for Judge Kavanaugh I was appalled but hardly surprised by the rude and churlish behavior of the Democrats. From interrupting the proceedings some 40 times in the first hour, to Senator Harris using her time to run for President, to Cory Booker’s astonishingly comparing himself to Spartacus (Kirk Douglas must have choked over his coffee when he heard that one), the Democrats demonstrated yet again their indifference to our political institutions through their scorched earth tactics.

A Supreme Court nominee is to be judged by their judicial competency and not their political affiliation. The Republicans have respected that, yet the Democrats have historically refused to do likewise. Case in point, during her confirmation hearings Judge Ginsburg told the body that she was a registered Democrat and considered herself a progressive. Her judicial credentials were impeccable and virtually every Republican voted for her 96-3 confirmation.
