Gaetz AG Nomination, Was It Always Planned He’d Withdraw?

President-Elect Trump (oh, how we love writing those words) made leftist and RINO heads explode by nominating Florida Representative Matt Gaetz for attorney general. Last week, Patriot Neighbors shared that we thought the Gaetz nomination was solely to allow RINO senators a chance to say “no” to the Gaetz appointment, thus forcing them to approve Trump’s “real” AG nominee. 

On November 15, Jonathan Freedland wrote in the leftist publication The Guardian “With These Outrageous Appointments, Trump is Showing Us Exactly How He Intends to Rule” — “More of a jaw dropper is the new president’s choice for attorney general, the most senior law enforcement officer in the land: Matt Gaetz. …Some wonder if naming such a man as head of the US justice department is a diversionary tactic, designed to distract attention from the clutch of other nominations that are scarcely less outrageous, in the hope that those will look reasonable by comparison. 

In this view, Trump knows that Gaetz will never be attorney general, that his nomination will be blocked in the Senate where, even though the Republicans have a majority, too many will balk. Gaetz is chum, thrown into the water to satisfy the piranhas, so that Trump can quietly ensure his other nominees get through. And what a rum bunch they are.” 

Some questions: 

• What will Matt Gaetz do now? His resignation letter said he did “not intend” to serve in the next Congress. Some wondered if that meant the CURRENT Congress and that he would join the NEXT Congress that he was just elected to. However, Gaetz told Charlie Kirk that he would not be returning to Congress. That means the House Ethics Committee will not be releasing its bogus report. Gaetz will continue to fight for Donald Trump and MAGA but from outside Congress. 
• Will Florida Governor Ron DeSantis appoint Gaetz to replace Senator Marco Rubio when he is confirmed secretary of state? Gaetz’s District 1 is solidly Republican so the special election will not alter House numbers. Plus, DeSantis needs to make the MAGA base happy.

Biden Appointees, Let’s talk about unqualified

The media and Democrats (one and the same) are losing their collective minds over the outstanding Trump nominations. We keep hearing “unqualified.” As many people know, DEI hire Kamala Harris was unqualified as her career started under Willie Brown (pun intended). If Democrats/media want to belch about unqualified people, let’s look at some Biden appointees: 

• Xavier Becerra, Secretary of Health and Human Services—Not a doctor, he’s a lawyer, ex-attorney general of California. RINO Maine Senator Susan Collins was the ONLY Republican who voted for Becerra in March 2021.
• Jared Bernstein, Chair of Council of Economic Advisors—Not an economist, Bachelor’s degree in music, masters in sociology. 
• Pete Buttigieg, Secretary of Transportation—No transportation background, Mayor of Indiana, and known as “pothole Pete” because the city had so many unfilled pot holes.
• Alejandro Mayorkas, Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security—No security background, lawyer, Asst U.S. attorney, Obama transition team.
• Jennifer Granholm, Secretary of Energy—No energy background, Michigan Governor.
• Gina Raimondo, Secretary of Commerce—No trade background, Rhode Island governor.
• Deb Haaland, Secretary of the Interior—New Mexico Congressman.
• And the biggest “unqualified” Democrat to ever have a job in DC goes to......Barack Obama!
