To say I’m disappointed Is an Understatement. The great state
of Michigan has voted so irrationally that it defies logic. As of this
writing, we have adopted all three ballot proposals amending our state’s
constitution. The first opens the door to political subterfuge. The
second is worse, opening the door for election fraud by expanding both
in-person and mail-in voting measures. The third and most egregious
example is that well over half of Michigan’s constituents believe that
murdering a human being before it’s able to take one breath of air
Outside of the embryonic fluid is of such paramount importance they
voted to define infanticide as a protected right. We were warned not to
change our laws for “light and transient causes,” yet here we are, and
there is no levity to these devastating alterations.
How have we come to this point, so callous as to abandon our responsibilities toward the next generations? We have collectively failed to protect our posterity for 50 years, the Supreme Court’s recent reversal of the horrific Roe decision notwithstanding. The incessant rhetoric that a woman has a right to choose to kill her baby before it ever sees one day, wrapped in pretty language, has worn the will of the people to believe sacrifice is sacrosanct. Abortion Destroys Life, and we in Michigan have erred significantly in Adopting this amendment.
