Pandemic Lies, Facts and Hyperbole, Part I

Over the years I've stored a lot of "draft" articles in order to reference them for information for articles of my own, and they get lost because while I purge them in some way occasionally, my "draft" file has over 1000 articles stored. 

Occasionally I get into researching some bit of information that leads me to those files, and while the articles linked below are out of date, they're not out of line with what happened then, what's  happening now, what they want to happen from now on, and the dangerous tyranny this false pandemic imposed in many area of the world and this nation, and continue to do so.

Let's make sure we don't forget what happened, who made it happen, why it happened, and how it's going to continue to happen, and absolutely know it will happen again in the future!  That's not only other hysterical pandemic scares, claims and demands, it will include hysterical leftist scares of some sort or other such as global warming.  If we forget, if we fail to understand, and if we fail to be forearmed, we lose.

We need to question everything.  What did these tyrants know and when did they know it?  Why did they act in the way they did?  But time and truth are on the same side, and what we're finding is they knew this whole thing had nothing to do with public health, but it had everything to do with politics, tyranny and the corruption of the deep state at all levels.

I've taken the position that has upset many from the beginning, and some of my science friends stopped talking to me who took an opposing position.  They turned out to be wrong.   

None of these mandates are justified. The statistics and projections are false.  Masks don't work.  Social distancing is stupid.  Lock downs are ineffective and destructive.  Universal testing is nothing more than a propaganda tactic to promote more government mandates and control since at some point everyone will test positive, whether they're sick or not, the vast majority of whom will not be sick.

All this for a virus that has a 99.7 percent recovery rate.  We only learned later these that not only are these mandated vaccines not vaccines, but they don't work, they damage the immune system and they're killing people.

The Jackboots Have Arrived – NYPD Begin Arresting Unvaccinated Americans During Indoor COVID Compliance Checks  December 28, 2021 -  Comrades, many American citizens stood jaw agape as they watched Australian metropolitan police departments begin cracking skulls and making arrests for violating COVID rules and restrictions. Yes, it always seemed like Australia, New Zealand and Europe were the beta testing ground to see if police would comply with jackboot arrests of their own community. Well, now we can see those same tactics being deployed in the U.S. New York City was the first large metropolitan area to require vaccination identification cards to enter restaurants, bars, dining establishments and various public and private venues.  Now comes the enforcement part..........

'This is Gross': Swarm of NYPD Officers Harass a Child For Not Having a Vaccine Passport - Katie Pavlich Dec 28, 2021 - The New York City Police Department is enforcing outgoing Mayor Bill DeBlasio's vaccine passport with force.  This week a family visiting a local restaurant was confronted by a number of officers who demanded to see their papers. When they couldn't produce them, they were asked to leave or be arrested and charged with trespassing.  Bystanders can be heard expressing their outrage as the situation unfolds, especially as the little boy in the scene reaches for his mother.  "Do you have the [vaccination] cards? If you don't have them you're going to have to leave," an officer asks the table. "Wow. Scaring a child. Traumatizing a child. Hope you feel good about yourself NYPD............ Meanwhile, crime in New York is raging out of control with murders up 47 percent..............

 NYC COVID restrictions on children just got a lot more strict -Jazz Shaw Dec 28, 2021- It’s unclear to me why any families would be planning a tourist trip to New York City with all of the garbage going on there these days, but there are reportedly still people making the journey. For those who do so with younger children, an unpleasant surprise was awaiting them. Anyone attempting to go out for dinner at a restaurant or most any other indoor venue with children between the ages of five and eleven found that they were being turned away unless they provided proof that their children had received at least one vaccination against COVID. The New York Post spoke with several such families yesterday and they were absolutely livid. Many were seeking ways to shorten their trips and return home. And starting tomorrow, the restrictions will apply to even more of them.............

Hospital ERs filled with symptom-less, COVID-positive people in one state, Rapid tests causing grief in state with highest vaccination rate - By Art Moore December 27, 2021 -  Emergency rooms in Vermont are being overwhelmed with people who have tested positive for COVID but have no symptoms, bolstering the criticism that mass testing amid a pandemic is counterproductive. Vermont, with about 77% of the population vaccinated, has the nation's highest rate, but local WCAX-TV reported Vermonters who take the rapid tests and test positive for COVID-19 are "clogging up emergency rooms." Dr. Rick Hildebrant, medical director of the emergency department at the Rutland Regional Medical Center, said people should go to the ER only if they have a positive test and are very sick.............

 

Reality is impinging upon the Democrats’ carefully constructed COVID tyranny -  By Andrea Widburg December 28, 2021 - Biden ran on a promise: he was going to federalize the COVID response and end COVID in America.  He introduced vaccine mandates for federal employees and those doing business with the federal government and had OSHA do the same for every business with more than 100 employees.  Various states, cities, and businesses, especially when it came to health care, followed suit.  We were also told that if we even breathed the same air as a COVID person, we had to quarantine ourselves for ten days.  In the last two days, that promised federal response, COVID mandates, and quarantines have all fallen apart, thanks to the very contagious but seemingly relatively harmless omicron variant. Biden made a lot of promises during the campaign, and the media graciously refused to demand details:................... 

 

White House in Damage Control Mode After Biden Said There's 'No Federal Solution' to the Pandemic - Katie Pavlic Dec 28, 2021- The White House communications team is in damage control mode after President Joe Biden said Monday there is "no federal solution" to the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic. Biden made the remarks before a virtual meeting with governors at the Eisenhower Office Building. ........The official White House Twitter feeds are loaded with President Biden talking about the federal response to combatting the virus................... 

 

Biden on Covid: It’s not my job - President Biden held a virtual meeting with the National Governors Association yesterday. The White House has posted the transcript here. Running for office last year, Biden held himself out as the man with a plan to defeat Covid-19. Students of ancient history may recall that he vowed “to shut down the virus.” (A true student of ancient history, Victor Davis Hanson has more on this point here.) In the words of the Dylan song, however, things have changed. “Thank you very much. Look, there is no federal solution,” Biden said as he began speaking to the governors. “This gets solved at a state level.”............

CBS panel sits in silence as top reporter blasts the 'crushing impact' of COVID policies on children -  Chris Enloe December 27, 2021 - Members of a CBS News "Face the Nation" panel sat in silence on Sunday when one panelist explained that the most "underreported" story of 2021 is how restrictive COVID policies devastatingly impacted children. What happened? While reviewing the year's top stories with foremost CBS News reporters, chief legal correspondent Jan Crawford silenced her colleagues for more than 90 seconds as she explained why the "crushing impact" of COVID policies on children is the most underreported story of 2021. Crawford cited the low vulnerability of young people to severe COVID infections, the mental health crisis happening among teenagers because of lockdowns, and the fact that the adverse impact of COVID policies has essentially been an "afterthought" to those with power.........

 

Robin's Take -  What the heck do they expect when the left constantly preaches that the end of the world is nigh due to "climate change," and leftist policies have destroyed the nuclear family for a huge percentage of the nation, and parents seem to either neglect their kids or infantilize them with helicopter parenting (which never lets them actually mature into well rounded adults).  

 

All white kids are told over and over that they're racist oppressors no matter what they actually do, and all others told they're victimized and oppressed no matter what they do.  

 

Boys are told over and over how they're afflicted with toxic masculinity just for being boys.  They close all schools and force healthy kids who aren't at any risk from covid into masks, while spreading even more panic porn???

 

New Jersey Will Pay $53 Million over Coronavirus Deaths at State-Run Veterans Homes -
Amy Furr 25 Dec 2021 - New Jersey is set to pay approximately $53 million in settling claims its negligence contributed to the deaths of over 100 veterans in state-run homes amid the coronavirus pandemic, attorneys announced Thursday. NBC Philadelphia reported:............Over 200 residents in the homes died amid the pandemic, and Gov. Phil Murphy’s (D) administration was heavily criticized in April last year after instructing the homes not to turn away patients who tested positive for the illness...................

 

 COVID testing has become ridiculous and even counterproductive December 31, 2021

December 31, 2021 By Andrea Widburg - The omicron version of COVID is so mild that it's indistinguishable from a cold.  Many people are asymptomatic.  We also know now that early COVID counts were almost certainly wrong because the dominant test used was unable to distinguish between COVID and the regular flu.  Nevertheless, Joe Biden has invested almost $140 million in a German company that will build a home-test plant in America...by 2024. It's no secret at this point that omicron was o-versold.  It's so negligible that many people know they have it only because they've been tested.  Even those who have symptoms feel only as if they've got a cold.  They just identify as omicron-sick.  You only need to look at the hugely different trend lines between cases and deaths to understand that omicron is a big nothing:  Nevertheless, Biden is investing lots of your money in future testing.......... 

When Does Covid Stop Being Covid? - by Ted Noel, MD December 25, 2021 - COVID-19 burst on the scene early in 2020 and rapidly became the biggest story of the year. We saw pictures of freezer trucks being used as morgues and medical staff in hazmat suits. The 2011 movie Contagion hung over every head like the Sword of Damocles. As the movie subtitle says, “Nothing Spreads Like Fear.” In a desperate rush for ratings, each network pushed more and more sensational stories, and kept the death count on chyrons so we would never be far from panic even when discussing a politician’s latest gaffe or the price of food. As soon as Sleepy Joe stumbled into the Oval Office, the chyrons stopped, since the drive-by media could not allow anything to interfere with the premise that Bumbling Biden would “defeat the virus.” Talking heads could panic us with case counts, since we heard that once, rather than constantly seeing it on screen. Of course, as Delta, and now Omicron, have jumped to the front of the news, we have to ask “Quo bene?” We must use Sutton’s Law and “follow the money.”.............
