Until just recently, the neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah in Jerusalem was entirely unfamiliar to those in the West. The popular narrative of Israeli aggression against its Palestinian neighbors and occupants, however, was not. National media coverage regarding the growing violence between Israel and Palestine this week once again fails to consider context in the “forced eviction” of Palestinian-Arab families in east Jerusalem.
A mid-week piece from National Review describes what is taking place as nothing more than “a normal instance of landlords asserting their property rights over tenants whose leases have expired or who refuse to pay their rent."...........In her tweet referring to the actions of Israeli forces as “inhumane” in “forcing families from their homes,” Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez ignores the fact that the Sheikh Jarrah dispute simply concerns a fully legal litigation process in which “owner-landlords” have “successfully won court orders evicting the squatters and overstaying tenants.”...........

My Take - As usual AOC shoots off her mouth and displays a level of ignorance and mediocrity that makes you wonder just how smart are her constituents if she's the brightest pebble in that brook, and the media goes right along with it. However, this kind of thing exposes just how divisive, ignorant, corrupt and stupid they really are.
