Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina recently gave the GOP’s rebuttal to President Biden’s first address to Congress. In his rebuttal, Scott pointed out that America is not a racist country, but that there may people some racist people in it. That was apparently too much for Rev. Al Sharpton, who used a funeral to make a jab at Scott, reports the Daily Wire.
At the funeral of Andrew Brown Jr., who was killed by police in North Carolina on April 21st, Rev. Sharpton said, “a black senator said America’s not racist” and “the practice of America was built on racism.” Sharpton went on to mention the pro-slavery laws from the mid-1800s in the town where Brown was killed. My Take - If Al Sharpton and his colleagues in the Race Industrial Complex ever stop promoting the idea that America is structurally racist, he and his colleagues will go broke, and that's what its all about. The con and the scam, and we really need to get that.
