Paul Driessen is a friend of mine who regularly sends articles he allows me and others to publish, and he always has some pre-article comments.  I wished to share this one with you because I've been irritated over the actions of people who claim to be conservatives while supporting insane leftist policies or actions, and working to undermine all efforts to fix these insane polices, including using shoddy explanations and science. 

Paul outlines who these groups are.  He mentions Ron Arnold here and all the fund raising these false conservatives generate to support their agenda.  I didn't ask, but I'm sure he got that information from Ron's book,  Freezing in the Dark:  Money, Power, Politics and The Vast Left Wing Conspiracy. 

Paraphrasing one comment - Frightening is the only way to describe Ron Arnold's book, and this is only the tip of the iceberg.

It’s amazing how many “conservative” organizations are stepping forward these days, to support “clean, green” energy and immediate action to stabilize Earth’s always fickle climate, while condemning President Trump’s actions to roll back many Obama Era anti-fossil fuel decisions.

 

Among them are Young Conservatives for Energy Reform, Citizens for Responsible Energy Reform, ConservAmerica, RepublicEn (as in Republican Energy), Conservatives for Clean Energy, and the environmentalist Christian Coalition of America.

 

But even more interesting is that almost every one of these organizations is funded by “progressive” anti-fossil fuel billionaires and their numerous “charitable” foundations, including The Energy Foundation, which I profile and expose in this article.
