Communism and fascism are two competing sects of the secular religion socialism.  Communism is the left wing and fascism is the right wing of socialism, but they still remain different sides of the same coin.

Irrespective of what they call themselves, determining whether or not a movement is a socialist movement is based on what it promotes. Whether that movement is called progressive, leftist, liberal, or some other permutation such as environmentalism, what they do is far more important than what they're called.  As they say; if it walks like a duck it's a duck. I don't care what you call it, it’s still a duck. We have to remember that the left is constantly changing itself into an angel of light, but their ultimate goals will always be the same, and it remains an angel of darkness.
