Thought For the Day By Mark Levin

In closing his FOX News program yesterday, Levin quoted these lines from the first chapter of his prescient book, The Democrat Party Hates America, published in September 2023.

Inevitably, the Democrat party's infinite cultural, economic, and political interventions, always in the name of the people and some virtuous worthy cause, lead to the steady decline of liberty, and the steady rise of totalitarianism, and the exploitation of the people.

Fewer and fewer masterminds, with an ever-increasing army of bureaucrats and enforcers, reign over the citizenry and decide what is and what is not good for them. The abuses of power are limitless, as are the justifications. And slowly but surely, the people get used to it, even vote for it, until one day its grip is too tight. Then it is too late.

In this, and virtually all else it does, the Democrat Party's loathing of America is boundless.  This appeared here

Must-see TV: Mark Levin interview with Peter Schweizer exposes $31 million in CCP money to the Biden family and much more

Sunday's edition of Life, Liberty, and Levin, the one-hour long-form interview show hosted by Mark Levin on Fox News, is essential viewing.  If you don't have just over a half-hour to watch the almost-complete show (embedded below), I strongly recommend that you spend a mere 3 minutes and 20 seconds watching a summary of Peter Schweizer's research findings on the Biden family's gigantic payday "for no discernible work" from corporate entities controlled by members of the CCP elite.

Levin's Warning: A State That Can Mandate Masks Has Unlimited Power John Jakubisin | August 14, 2020

By John Jakubisin | August 14, 2020

Conservative radio host Mark Levin said Thursday that if a government can implement a mask mandate, its power is unlimited.  Levin began the segment by playing the audio of a 60 Minutes interview with Dr. Anthony Fauci from March 8, during which Fauci recommended that Americans not wear masks.............. The radio host focused on presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s call for a three-month mask mandate. “It’s so absurd. He has no constitutional authority to mandate it. And this is what worries me,” Levin said. ..........To Read More....

Thomas Sowell on the madness

Posted on by Scott Johnson in Conservatism, Education

Thomas Sowell just turned 90, but he is still on the case. Indeed, his new book — Charter Schools and Their Enemies — was published on his 90th birthday. Among the many tributes to Sowell at 90 are this one by Steve Hanke afriend Walter Williams at Jewish World Review (more here).

Mark Levin hosted Sowell on the FOX News show Life, Liberty & Levin last night. Below is the opening segment. The entire episode with Sowell is posted here on YouTube. In the opening segment Sowell addresses the cultural revolution that stares us in the teeth. “Even though I’m regarded as pessimistic,” he observes, “I was never pessimistic enough to think things would degenerate to the point where they are now where adult human beings are talking about getting rid of the police…”

Sowell expresses astonishment at the lack of resistance to the madness: “I never dreamed we’d come to this point. It just seems such utter madness. And what is frightening is how many people in responsible positions are caving in to every demand that is made, repeating any kind of nonsense that you’re supposed to repeat.”..........

Quotable quote: “If you insulate people from paying the price of being wrong, you’re going to get a lot of wrong things done.”.........To Read More....

Levin on Romney: 'A Petty, Self-Promoting, NeverTrumper' Who Voted Against the Constitution

By Michael W. Chapman | February 6, 2020

In reference to Sen. Mitt Romney's (R-Utah) decision to vote "guilty" in the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump -- the only Republican to vote with the Democrats -- conservative talk-radio icon Mark Levin said the Utah senator was "a petty, self-promoting, NeverTrumper" who joined with "radical Democrats" in their "assault on the Constitution."

On the Senate floor on Feb. 5, Romney said, "The president is guilty of an appalling abuse of public trust....  [A] flagrant assault on our electoral rights, our national security, and our fundamental values. Corrupting an election to keep oneself in office is perhaps the most abusive and destructive violation of one's oath of office that I can imagine.".................."Romney believes history will judge him as a courageous lone voice," said Levin.  "It won’t. He’ll be seen for what he is: a petty, self-promoting, NeverTrumper who has contributed to the Radical Democrats’ assault on the Constitution."..........To Read More.....

Levin: Pelosi and Her ‘Politburo’ in House ‘Running Roughshod’ Over Trump’s Impeachment

Trent Baker 13 Oct 2019

During his Sunday Fox News Channel show, “Life, Liberty & Levin,” Mark Levin took aim at the House Democrats’ impeachment inquiry.
The “Unfreedom of the Press” author called the group leading the inquiry a “politburo” that he said is acting “running roughshod” over President Donald Trump, adding that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is acting “rogue.”

“This is the first time in American history that we have a rogue speaker of the House and a small majority Democrat Party in the House of Representatives that’s trying to drag our country in a different direction,” Levin said, pointing to the Mueller report as one of the failed attempts to get Trump impeached...........To See Video and Read More ......

Mark Levin Dubs Senate Republicans Who Voted Against Trump’s Border Emergency ‘The Dirty Dozen’

By Craig Bannister | March 14, 2019

After the Republican-majority Senate passed a resolution disapproving of President Donald Trump’s declaration of a national emergency at the southern border, nationally-syndicated conservative pundit Mark Levin assigned a label to the 12 Republicans helped Democrats pass the resolution.

“The Dirty Dozen,” Levin declared on Twitter after Thursday’s vote, linking to a post on The Right Scoop titled, “Senate votes to DISAPPROVE Trump’s National Emergency; 12 Republicans voted with Democrats and HERE ARE THEIR NAMES.”........To Read More......

Mark Levin: ‘Nothing Like This Has Ever Happened Before in the United States of America – Ever’

By Michael Morris | February 20, 2019

On his nationally syndicated radio talk show “The Mark Levin Show” Tuesday, host Mark Levin reminded his audience about his analysis from two years ago concerning a “silent coup” against President Trump, Levin suggesting last evening that “nothing like this has ever happened before in the United States of America – Ever.”

“[W]hat Mr. Comey and what Mr. McCabe and the others were doing, was undermining the United States of America from within the government, from within the FBI, from within the Department of Justice,” stated Mark Levin. “Nothing like this has ever happened before in the United States of America – ever, ever.”..............

“And what Mr. Comey and what Mr. McCabe and the others were doing, was undermining the United States of America from within the government, from within the FBI, from within the Department of Justice. Nothing like this has ever happened before in the United States of America – ever, ever.

“We have never had an FBI trying to take out a duly elected president of the United States – never!”...........To Read More....

Conservative Icon Mark Levin Destroys Fox News for their Attacks on Trump and Cruz!

Posted on

Now the question that really needs to be answered is this.  Why is it Fox has no absolute conservatives on their shows?  Whether it's science, politics or social issues they always seem to be trying to find the middle of the road.  Perhaps there are real conservatives on these shows and they're being told to keep it mild so as not to offend people.  Well, that's not news!

‘One Sick S.O.B.’: Mark Levin Goes Nuclear on ‘Deranged Moron’ Chris Matthews

Jason Howerton Dec. 6, 2013  This Appeared Here.
Following MSNBC host Chris Matthews’ very friendly interview with President Barack Obama, conservative radio host Mark Levin took to the airwaves to bash the “deranged” TV host for attacking the president’s opponents for him the next day.
“I believe Chris Matthews is deranged. I really believe he’s deranged. I believe he’s hyped up. I believe he’s off his rocker,” Levin said, before playing audio of the host’s comments on MSNBC Friday.
Levin thoroughly mocked Matthews for claiming that fellow MSNBC host Al Sharpton’s comparison of Nelson Mandela’s election to Republicans’ handling of the election of Obama was the “smartest” thing he’s heard in five years.
“This is one sick S.O.B.,” Levin added.
The radio host went on to argue that Mandela and Obama have absolutely nothing in common and it’s certainly not unpatriotic to stand in opposition of the president’s policies. He noted that Democrats tried to “destroy” Ronald Reagan when he was elected.
“To hear this pathetic liberal know-nothing to go on and on and on at that pathetic, nothing cable network is disgusting,” Levin continued. “This clown, Chris Matthews, he doesn’t understand this country, he doesn’t understand our system, he doesn’t understand our Constitution. He is truly a deranged moron!”..........To Read More....

Observations From the Back Row

By Rich Kozlovich

This week’s top ten readers came from the United States, Russia, Slovenia, Germany, Bulgaria, Ukraine, France, Canada, Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Thank you for your interest. Here are my picks for the week.  I hope you will find my latest provocation worth your time. Let's begin with;

Mark Levin: You Cannot Have This EPA and a Constitution
Mark Levin says America cannot at the same time have a Constitution and an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) that is doing what the EPA is doing today. Levin made the observation in an interview with CNSNews.com about his new book, “Ameritopia: The Unmaking of America.” Modern American liberals, who are Utopias, Levin said, aim to erode the separation of powers built into the U.S. Constitution so that a “relative handful of masterminds” can tell everybody else what to do. “This erosion has been going on for about a hundred years,” said Levin. “It’s at a much faster pace right now and there’s a reason for this--because you can’t have constitutionalism and utopianism.”

“You cannot have an EPA and a Constitution at the same time doing what this EPA is doing,” “You cannot have an NLRB deciding who gets to work where, how, and when, and at the same time follow the Constitution,” “You cannot have a tax code that serves basically the purpose of redistributing wealth, which is one of the things that Marx was pushing for so strongly, and at the same time be arguing about limited government and constitutionalism,” “The utopians reject history. Everything begins today,” said Levin. “The models they want to put in place begin today. So why anybody thinks they’re going to respect the Constitution when they don’t respect the rest of history is beyond me.”

JUDICIARY

Court Ruling Broadening Americans with Disabilities Act Will Harm Taxicab Safety and Cost Hundreds of Millions
A federal judge last month barred New York City’s Taxi and Limousine Commission from issuing permits for taxicabs unless they’re accessible to people who use wheelchairs,” citing the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The judge effectively rewrote the ADA to cover taxi cabs, even though “the ADA specifically exempts automobile-type vehicles, including most taxicabs, from the requirement to be wheelchair accessible.”….The court’s unduly expansive interpretation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is backed by the Obama Justice Department, which filed a brief supporting the lawsuit.
