Chris Matthews: Trump Supporters Do Not ‘Understand Democracy’

On Tuesday, former MSNBC host Chris Matthews told Joy Reid that Republicans who support former President Donald Trump do not “understand democracy.”

Funny, I would have said the same thing about Biden supporters.

Matthews said, “What are dots on the screen in the last several months? Well you president who said the previous president was illegal immigrant. He was not president. He couldn’t be he was here illegally, he snuck in the country — an absurd, awful, racist comment. Now a former president, thankfully, calls this president illegal. Who says he’s not president. He’s gotten 2/3 of the Republican Party, the party of Lincoln saying that Joe Biden is not president!”

He continued, “It’s gotten to be worse and worse. They go from relying on the Electoral College because they can’t get the popular vote. They lost in ’16 by almost 4 million and lost again in ’20. They think it’s cute to win by the Electoral College. Of course its constitutional. Now they doesn’t even believe in the Electoral College. Trump doesn’t even believe he lost the Electoral College. Democracy as Jefferson taught us, with all Jefferson’s faults, slavery and rest, he did give us, ‘All men are created equal.’ He did give us a goal, ironically, a goal. This crowd doesn’t understand democracy.”

Matthews said, “If you ask the average Republican who likes Trump do you really want the majority to rule in this country? Simple question. Do you think majority of American citizens should rule this country? A simple democracy vote, question. Do you think they’re going to say yes? No. They are going to say, let’s reduce the number of minority voters. Let’s reduce the number of young voters while we’re at it.”

He added, “By the way Trump knows he lost. He lost the Electoral College. He lost Pennsylvania. He lost Wisconsin. He lost Michigan. I’m sorry Mr. President, you’re not Mr. President anymore. You got to wake up.”

My Take - Matthews is as big a loser as they come.  He never saw a fact he couldn't twist, a reality he couldn't distort, and a conservative he couldn't hate.  He's the perfect leftist.   Intellectually corrupt and insane. 

Chris Matthews Made Bill Cosby Pill Joke Before Interviewing Hillary Clinton

A newly surfaced video shows MSNBC anchor Chris Matthews joking about finding his “Bill Cosby pill” before interviewing 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.  The January 5, 2016 video was uncovered by New York Magazine’s The Cut and shows the “Hardball” host cracking jokes on set to staffers before Clinton arrives for an interview.  “Can I have some of the queen’s waters? Precious waters?” Matthews laughed, before adding, “Where’s that Bill Cosby pill I brought with me?”

My Take - I've no idea what he means when he says “Can I have some of the queen’s waters? Precious waters?”, but it's clear the comment about the Cosby pill while waiting to interview Hillary Clinton was completely out of line, and it would appear that kind of conduct was standard operating procedure for Matthews.  Leftists are all loons and hypocrites. 

‘One Sick S.O.B.’: Mark Levin Goes Nuclear on ‘Deranged Moron’ Chris Matthews

Following MSNBC host Chris Matthews’ very friendly interview with President Barack Obama, conservative radio host Mark Levin took to the airwaves to bash the “deranged” TV host for attacking the president’s opponents for him the next day.

“I believe Chris Matthews is deranged. I really believe he’s deranged. I believe he’s hyped up. I believe he’s off his rocker,” Levin said, before playing audio of the host’s comments on MSNBC Friday.

Levin thoroughly mocked Matthews for claiming that fellow MSNBC host Al Sharpton’s comparison of Nelson Mandela’s election to Republicans’ handling of the election of Obama was the “smartest” thing he’s heard in five years.

“This is one sick S.O.B.,” Levin added.

The radio host went on to argue that Mandela and Obama have absolutely nothing in common and it’s certainly not unpatriotic to stand in opposition of the president’s policies. He noted that Democrats tried to “destroy” Ronald Reagan when he was elected.

“To hear this pathetic liberal know-nothing to go on and on and on at that pathetic, nothing cable network is disgusting,” Levin continued. “This clown, Chris Matthews, he doesn’t understand this country, he doesn’t understand our system, he doesn’t understand our Constitution.
