The Fat Lady Sung, and It's Over!

By Rich Kozlovich

"It ain't over till the fat lady sings"!  Well, the fat lady sung, and it's all over in Iowa, and Donald Trump won massively, which outraged Rachel Maddow saying Trump is a dangerous fascist, but his supporters are even worse.  Imagine that!  And why are they worse?  According to that MSNBC's resident racist, Joy Reid, Iowa has entirely too many whites and Christians. Imagine that.

I often wonder if these nitwits even know what the definition of fascism is, because if they don't that means they're stupid.  If the do, and yet keep making that claim, it means they're deliberately lying and stupid.

Well, Maddow has just under 4 million viewers, and in a nation of 332 million people that means 328 million people didn't hear a thing she said, and the ones who did, already believed her nonsense, and like her, they're either stupid, or stupid liars.    So, who cares what she thinks?  And if I didn't read news sites I couldn't have known what she said, and I was even surprised to find she's still on the air.

Let's start with Chris Christie.  Even as stupid as he is, he knew what was coming and no matter what he would say afterwards, it wouldn't erase the humiliation of getting almost no votes, and finally did something smart for a change, and dropped out ahead of time. Something former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson failed to do and got less than 1% of the vote, even less than Ryan Binkley, and I have no idea who he is, but he got .07%.  How much less did Hutchinson get?  I have no idea, but get this:

“We plan on going to New Hampshire. I’ve got my flight booked there. But we’re going to reevaluate after this evening. We’ll see where we finally end up and if we’ve got the strength to carry on this campaign beyond Iowa,” Hutchinson told KCCI in Des Moines.

Remarkable, what's going on in this nitwit's head?

As for As of 11:30 pm ET, last night with 95% of the vote counted, Trump had 51.0%, Ron DeSantis came in a distant second, 21.3% and Nikki Haley getting 19.1%, and Vivek Ramaswamy also ran.  He ended up with 7.7%.  He wisely ended the pain, and I'm a bit surprised he didn't finish closer to Haley as he beat her up badly during the campaign.

While Vivek Ramaswamy has dropped out, he has given his full endorsement to Trump, and Trump is being gracious in return saying, "He did a hell of a job".  Not only did he call Trump to tell him he was out and fully supporting him, he'll be appearing with him to campaign in New Hampshire.

He'll get a spot in the administration if he wants it, no matter what he's said about that in the past.  Perhaps being appointed to be the "Gut the Deep State Czar" might be a good spot, especially to see who and what he really is, which I think was the knock on him.  He had history that concerned conservatives.   I found that whole campaign bizarre to tell you the truth, but then again, I've found this entire run by Republicans bizarre, especially DeSantis.   What is going on in their heads?

DeSantis came in second, a distant second, and whined about it trying to put a smiley face on this failure for his staff.  Even claiming the media was in the tank for Trump.  Huh?  The media's in the tank for Trump?  Ya just gotta be kidden me!  He can't really believe that...can he?  If he does it further shows he's delusional, which I've believed from the beginning of his campaign, and he's toast from now on nationally.  However, at this point it seems clear he plans of staying in the race.

I think that's called masochism?

Talking about masochism, there's Nikki Haley, who practically groveled to the Iowa voters and they dumped her into third position, and probably only did as well as she did because Democrats could vote in the Iowa Republican primary, which is stupid, and she's the Republican candidate for Democrats.

Now she's dissing them and saying New Hampshire will correct these Iowa nitwits, and she's getting support from Never Trumpers Bill Kristol, and Governor Chris Sununu.  Now, let's see a show of hands on how many conservatives will change over to Haley due to those endorsements!  She actually thinks these Iowa results make this a two person race.  She must think Trump is going to drop out.

Here's a thought worth noting.  Combined, DeSantis and Haley spent 72 million dollars, far more money than Trump to come in a far second and third.  Where's that money coming from?

Rand Paul has been ripping Haley, but Sununu says no one in America cares what Rand Paul thinks about Nikki Haley. Really?  Well here's what he thinks, Here, Here, and Here, and it ain't pretty.

Which in effect, affirms what I said from the beginning, she's not to be trusted.  While she seemed to have been outstanding as the Ambassador to the United Nations, she proved to be a leaky vessel, and turned on Trump for reasons I never understood, although here are her excuses, which I think tells the whole story on Nikki Haley.

I think she's a as slippery as an eel, unwilling to state a man can't be a woman, and is on board with the climate change climatistas, and is weak on every issue that's important to conservatives.  She's a "make believe conservative", all too common among Republicans, and if Nikki Haley, is the Establishment’s last hope, they're toast.  But here's a thought worth exploring.

Final thought.  I've said over and over again I have no idea what's going on in the heads of these two nitwits.  If DeSantis had stayed out of it he had a chance in 2028, and he's still young enough, but Haley was toast from the beginning because she's shown just how untrustworthy she is.  Who were these two listening to?  Why would they believe they actually had a chance against Trump?

Answer?   They weren't connected to the base, and isolated themselves in a echo chamber of head nodding self promoters, and now both are toast nationally, and DeSantis will be another also ran former governor like John Kasich who no one wants anything to do with, except the main stream media who trots him out like the talking head he is to smear Trump.

The only political future I see for all these people is the No Labels Party, better named the No Future Party.

Why Stop at DC? Neocon Bill Kristol Wants Cuba in the Union Too!

Woke, never-Trump neocon Bill Kristol's argument for D.C. statehood: Annex Cuba?

Articles, Liberty Rewind, Politics

Truth, justice, and the neoconservative way. In the post-Trump era, progressives and neocons are trying to keep the romance alive after both ideologies achieved the shared endgame of ousting the former president from the White House. It has been unclear how the alliance could keep the flame going without a common enemy. Like any relationship, it is the little things that add up to mean a great deal to love’s survival. Bill Kristol, the neoconservative in chief, is whispering sweet nothings in leftists’ ears by championing statehood for the nation’s capital. But he may have soured his appeal by taking it a bit

Cuba’s Future is Kristol Clear

Democrats are trying everything to sustain their power with President Joe Biden at the helm. From the advocacy of lowering the voting age to 16 to keeping the borders open to illegal immigrants, the donkeys are concerned that America’s current framework might not allow the party to stay in charge past 2024. But the Democratic Party has another trick up its sleeve.

The House Oversight and Reforms Committee is holding a hearing on granting statehood to Washington, D.C., with congressional Democrats arguing that the 700,000 people residing in the district need better representation. Despite being an obvious power-grab for the left side of the political aisle to accumulate more seats, Kristol agrees, tweeting that the country’s growth is reason enough for another state. He also thinks that Puerto Rico and maybe one or two more should join the Union.

But one name on his list is forcing a collective bipartisan scratching of the head – or palm to the face.

“One reason I’m for DC statehood: The growth in size of the republic–and our distinctive manner of growth, admitting states with equal status–has always been a sign of our vigor. 60 years at 50 states is enough. Time for DC, Puerto Rico, Cuba (as soon as it’s free), 1 or 2 more?”

Is Kristol unaware that Cuba is a sovereign nation? Is he recommending an invasion of Havana? Kristol may have concealed his odious positions on MSNBC and CNN to the new generation of political observers over the last four years as he lamented on former President Donald Trump any chance he had. But his imperial itch gets scratched every now and then, drawing a rebuke from both sides.

Ted Cruz

Ted Cruz

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) tweeted: “Trump Derangement Syndrome in full flower: Bill Kristol is now a Democrat. Cuban statehood is too far out there even for Bernie (maybe)….” Former presidential candidate Marianne Williamson simply asked: “Are you kidding…?” Former Republican Congresswoman Nan Hayworth called him “a very silly and ignorant man.”

Political activist Daryle Lamont Jenkins labeled Kristol as a “colonizer,” while CNN contributor Frida Ghitis wondered why Cuba would become part of the United States. Perhaps if The Bulwark’s editor at large ended his tweet or followed up with “Orange Man Bad,” he would have garnered more support from his leftist brethren for an apparent policy position that only neocons could get behind.

The Privilege of Neocon Adventurism

For the last four years, the left discovered an unlikely ally in the neoconservatives. They, too, possessed the hatred of the billionaire real estate mogul that consumed every fiber of their being. Despite endorsing policies that were responsible for the deaths of millions of people and the destabilization of entire regions, progressives either forgave or forgot the records from the likes of Kristol, Max Boot, Ralph Peters, and the folks from The Lincoln Project. Some of them not only loathed Trump, but they also became woke by conceding their white privilege and the villainy of lighter skin pigmentation. In today’s toxic political climate, wokeology extends absolution to bloodthirsty pundits – so long as they howl at the moon about white supremacists hiding under every bed in America. Or the go-to get-out-of-jail card: Trump is Literally Hitler™. Neoconservatives will need to grovel since they have, as Liberty Nation’s Tim Donner recently opined, witnessed their influence crumble.

Bill Kristol Reveals His True Colors, And Nobody Is Surprised

Scott Morefield Feb 03, 2020

Is there anyone on the planet more obnoxiously smug than neoconservative political pundit Bill Kristol? I’m not normally one to put much emphasis on personal appearance, but just a passing glance at that high forehead and pompous, arrogant grin should tell you the man thinks he knows way more than you do about, well, pretty much everything.
And he’s not shy about telling you what he thinks, especially on all things Trump, and looking down on you disapprovingly if you dare to disagree. Truly, does anybody alive think Kristol wouldn’t be chortling along with the rest had he been included in that now-infamous Don Lemon CNN panel mocking Trump supporters as ignorant, backwoods hillbillies? (You know, the one the Trump-reelection campaign plans to ride like a rented mule until November’s landslide victory?)......To Read More.....

My Take - I do like the comparison the author posted later in the article saying, “This is like your most flamboyant friend who attended 200+ Britney Spears concerts before achieving his lifelong dream of becoming a backup dancer for her FINALLY coming out to you as gay,” wrote conservative comedian Tim Young. “Yeah, buddy... we ALL knew.” Former Fox News columnist Todd Starnes joked that Kristol finally “came out of the political closet.”

I wonder what Fred Barnes thinks about this?  At any rate, my views can easily be reflected by one writer who last week posted his view of Kristol's admission of now being a Democrat:  Goodbye and good riddance.

The Unmasking of The Weekly Standard

By  July 31st, 2018

First, had Kristol and his fellow neoconservatives not pushed for a deadly, prolonged war in Iraq after September 11, there would be no President Obama. The first-term senator’s premature candidacy for president was based largely on his vocal opposition to the Iraq War, which had been supported by his primary opponent, Senator Hillary Clinton.

“Most of you know I opposed this war from the start,” Obama said in his announcement speech in February 2007. “America, it’s time to start bringing our troops home. It’s time to admit that no amount of American lives can resolve the political disagreement that lies at the heart of someone else’s civil war.”

Second, Kristol’s magazine, The Weekly Standard, just gave political cover to Obama’s most unforgivable scandal: The weaponization of our law enforcement and intelligence apparatus to target Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and violate the constitutional rights of private U.S. citizens.............

Unreasonable and Belligerent.............Kristol objected to the memo’s release, then ridiculously warned that “when the history of the degradation of the Republican Party is written, the Nunes memo will be a significant moment.” ..................

Well-Documented for “Bunk”............Doss needs to twist the facts, omit key details and smear the messenger. She uses the same evidence twice, much like the FISA application itself, but disguises it as separate material: “..............

Spinning, Spinning, Spinning..........Incredibly, Doss then argued that a small footnote in the application about the dossier’s “bias” refutes Nunes’s most explosive claim that the FBI concealed from the FISC the dossier’s political funding............

The Doss article is the latest proof of how far this once-serious publication has fallen; how much it has abandoned any legitimate ties to the Right; and how its founder and reporters are now protecting left-wing loyalists of a corrupt administration that spent eight years doing everything in its power to undermine the conservative movement and vilify conservatives.........To Read More.......

Sad and pathetic: Delusional Bill Kristol prepares ‘war machine’ to challenge Trump for 2020 GOP nomination

By Thomas Lifson September 15, 2018

Swamp fever has taken a toll on a number of DC-dwelling conservative pundits and driven them mad. They seem to be competing with each other to see who can bark at the moon loudest.
  • There’s Jennifer Rubin, who has excoriated Trump for taking positions that she previously advocated.
  • There’s George Will, who wished for a 50 state sweep for corrupt Hillary Clinton.
  • But making a strong move to capture leadership of this cohort is Bill Kristol, who still fancies himself a kingmaker, despite the ignominious defeat of his second-choice Trump challenger Evan McMullin after first choice David French bowed out.
  • Recall that Kristol’s deep-think strategy was to have McMullin win the votes of (presumably straight-laced) Utah voters who shared McMullin’s Mormon faith, and thereby deny the "short-fingered vulgarian" Trump the electoral votes of the Beehive State, which Kristol theorized might swing the election to Hillary.
Undeterred by playing the fool in 2016, Kristol is, in the memorable words of Lieutenant General Honore, “stuck on stupid” and looking for a new patsy candidate to mobilize the inevitable defeat of Trump in the GOP nomination contest.............Kristol thinks he can create a ‘war machine’ that will prevail over a sitting president with 90% approval from Republicans...............Read more My Take - Well, congratulations Billie.....you are now a member in good standing of the Club For the Galacticly Stupid, along with Maxine, Nancy, Chuck, and a host of others.

Report: Weekly Standard Founder Bill Kristol Caught Up in Spygate Scandal and Linked to Peter Strzok

By - on

For years my colleagues and I battled the left in and out of our party. Establishment RINO’s worked furiously to keep the principled and true out of the tent (ie CPAC).

But the election of President Trump has vindicated us and shown the principled and patriotic just what vicious spineless quislings they really are.

The enemy among us.

Report: Weekly Standard Founder Bill Kristol Caught Up in Spygate Scandal and Linked to Peter Strzok Oh, how the mighty have fallen. Bill Kristol, from the Weekly Standard, went from a leading conservative voice and Obama critic to a Trump hater who worked with Obama to derail the Trump Campaign. by Joe Hoft, Gateway Pundit, August 16, 2018..........Kristol fell so far that he started pushing the Trump – Russia dossier at the same time as John Brennan and the Obama team. Kristol went from leading conservative voice to being the leader of the anti-Trump “conservative” movement in a matter of a few years.

Kristol and The Weekly Standard published articles smearing The Gateway Pundit for supporting the Republican Presidential candidate.  Now we know that Kristol’s fall was worse than we thought.........To Read More.....

My Take - Bill Kristol and George Will have hit rock bottom and are done as a voice for anyone.  The right now despises them and the left won't forget who they said they were.  And Jonah Goldberg is running close behind them.   There has to be a common denominator for this.  Arrogance?  Selfish self-interest?  Stupidity?

In spite of their academic credentials and clearly high IQ's - I think they're guilty of all three.   But even with those negative qualities I have to wonder at their sanity.  How can any sane person shift gears so badly supporting those who are clearly dangerous and detrimental to the nation?  People who clearly wish to create a super state without the impediments of the Constitution.

I wish someone would ask them these questions.

1.       If Hillary had been elected would we be better off than we are now?
2.      Do they believe the government has become corrupt beyond belief as a result of Obama politicizing the agencies and departments of the federal government?
3.      If they think that’s true then why would they wish to promote those who are responsible for such corruption?
4.      If Hillary had been elected do they think the nation would be more a nation of laws than a nation of government corruption?
5.       Do they believe Hillary and the Democrat Party is corrupt beyond redemption or are they the embodiment of law and order?
6.      Do they believe the Democrat Party undermines the constitution through an unelected bureaucracy and if so, would it get worse?
7.       What do they believe the long term goals are for the Democrat party?

One has to be insane to support these people, so I think they’re arrogant, selfish, stupid, and I have to add insane to that mix.
