France: If it Looks Like a Civil War, It Must Be a Civil War

By Rich Kozlovich, Tags:  The World's Nine Orders

On October 17th I posted this piece,  Even de Gaulle Couldn't Stop the French From Being French, followed by  What I'm Reading: France and Europe is Doomed, on October 19th.  Then, Hello! Europe is Erupting, Is Anyone Paying Attention?, on October 21st, and finally, While France Is Burning Macron Grooves.  I also added 28 updates, and the hits just keep right on coming.

I’m gonna spout this again. We’re at the end of a historical cycle, which is always filled with economic downturns and violence. The time is coming when the decision makers will have no say in what’s going to done or not done because at some point things will get so bad the masses will take matters into their own hands, and it won’t just be these Marxist/Maximalist who are rioting.

When that happens, these governments will collapse with anarchy and terror taking full reign for a time, just like the French Revolution. Who will win? No one! These western European nations will dissolve into smaller regional mini states, which is the foundational social paradigm of Europe. And who knows… possibly a few mini-Muslim states scattered throughout, which will cause unending conflict, just like Gaza and the Palestinian Authority in Israel.

Clearly, I’m not optimistic, but this isn’t the first time this has happened, and since people will always be people, there’s no reason to believe it won’t happen again.

These "mostly peaceful" riots are not spontaneous, they're organized and spreading to Portugal, Spain and Greece.   Let's stop being idiotic about all this.  There's an adage that says, "if it walks like a duck, if it quacks like a duck, it's a duck".  Well, if it looks like a civil are, and it sounds like a civil war, then it must be a civil war!

France's leadership is typical of all of Europe's leaders, delusional and blinded to reality by ideology and self interest.  Macron admits his government had no idea these "mostly peaceful" riots were coming.  How delusional is that?  The French, with the usual attitude of  arrogant superiority have looked down their noses at anyone who questioned their "enlightened" views on welfare, globalism, environmentalism and multilateralism, so it's hard to be sympathetic to their plight, and makes you wonder if maybe France deserves to burn.

  1. Europe Distributes Preparedness Plans In Case Of ‘Crisis Or War’
  2. Debt, disorder and open borders: a midterm warning from EU’s riots for U.S. consideration

France is unraveling, and these riots are merely exposing how badly.

  1. France has a debt burden they can't repay.
  2. Their economy is a mess, which Italy and Greece following closely behind.
  3. Much of their debt crisis is being fueled by illegal immigrants who immigrated for the welfare benefits, and have no intention of ever getting off welfare.  France has a massive illegal immigration problem and most of them are on welfare.
  4. Macron can't cut spending without losing the next election and the legislature refuses to cut spending.
  5. The people are not only demanding there be no cuts in welfare spending, they're demanding more welfare spending.
  6. There are "bitter divisions" over immigration.
  7. They can't defy the socioeconomic demands of the EU because if they did they'd lose their agriculture subsidies, and if that happened their agricultural industry would collapse.

Unlike the American government, with 150 trillion dollars in assets, they’ve borrowed massive amounts of money they can’t repay, and yet they embraced the welfare state and the people are demanding they don’t stop spending. That’s coming to a head now and all their delusional visions will not change that.  Everything is about the basics, and Europe has failed in all of them

While publicly they may profess confidence in their capabilities, that’s delusional, and typical of European leadership. The fact is, they’re broke, and getting more broke by the day, and the day will come when they will no longer be able to borrow money to fund their welfare state, and that day can be seen on the horizon, along with other EU nations.

I seriously question if the EU will even be in existence by 2030 as their economy is built on bamboo, their individual cultures are disintegrating, multiculturalism has destroyed their ethnic harmony and is literally destroying their nations.

France is now a facing an existential crisis...... again! It's a cultural social paradigm for the French.   Think about this. The French have had at least 13 primary forms of government and up to 20 if you include short term provisional controlling authorities since 1789.  In 237 years they've had, in one form or another, 20 ruling authorities in France.  That averaged out to one every 11.85 years.   If you only consider the 13 primary forms of government that averages out to one every 18.23 years.

  1. Constitutional Monarchy (1789–1792): Began with the Revolution and the limit of the king's power before the monarchy was abolished.
  2. First French Republic (1792–1804): Established after the king's overthrow, featuring the National Convention, The Terror, and the Directory, which ended with Napoleon's coup.
  3. The Consulate (1799–1804): A transitional authoritarian regime led by Napoleon Bonaparte as First Consul.
  4. First French Empire (1804–1814): Imperial rule under Napoleon I.
  5. The Bourbon Restoration (1814–1815 / 1815–1830): The restoration of the Bourbon monarchy under Louis XVIII and Charles X (briefly interrupted by Napoleon's Hundred Days in 1815).
  6. July Monarchy (1830–1848): A more liberal constitutional monarchy under King Louis-Philippe.
  7. Second French Republic (1848–1852): A short-lived republic created after the 1848 revolution, ending in a coup by Louis-Napoleon Bonaparte.
  8. Second French Empire (1852–1870): Imperial rule under Napoleon III.
  9. Third French Republic (1870–1940): A long-lasting parliamentary republic that ended with the German invasion and defeat in World War II.
  10. Vichy Regime / French State (1940–1944): An authoritarian collaborative puppet state led by Marshal Philippe Pétain, alongside the Free France government-in-exile.
  11. Provisional Government of the French Republic (1944–1946): A temporary post-liberation administration led by Charles de Gaulle.
  12. Fourth French Republic (1946–1958): A parliamentary republic plagued by cabinet instability and the Algerian crisis.
  13. Fifth French Republic (1958–present): The current semi-presidential system established under Charles de Gaulle with a strengthened presidency.

The Fifth Republic, championed by Charles de Gaulle, replaced weak legislative rule with a semi-presidential system featuring a strong executive branch designed to ensure political stability.  But this is France, and even Charles de Gaulle said even he "can't stop the French from being French", and we may see the end of the Fifth Republic.

Update, 1:15 PM:

  1.  Far-Left Mayor Bagayoko Calls for Censorship of Marine Le Pen’s National Rally - The far-left mayor of the multicultural Parisian suburb of Saint-Denis, Bally Bagayoko, has argued that so-called “far-right” politicians such as those from Marine Le Pen’s National Rally should be banned from speaking in public over their supposed racist rhetoric....... (My Take - Well, he's a black Muslim Marxist, and I always find it amazing how blacks, Muslims and Marxists who not only spout hateful violence against whites, conservatives, Christians and Jews, but also violently act on their hate always.... always... demand censorship on everyone else calling their views.....among other things...... racist, Islamophobic or xenophobic.   His ilk are rioting, attacking people, pillaging and burning down the nation, yet he doesn't have one word of condemnation for that.  But he wants Le Pen censored for her "far right" views. RK)
