This and That From Robin Itzler

“But I believe the president has earned some trust on this issue. And having seen this up close and personal, I can assure you that he is only interested in using the American military to accomplish the American people’s goals. Whatever he does, that is his focus.” J.D. Vance

Oh Dear, With Dear Abby!

A mother recently wrote Dear Abby that her adult child announced he was transgender. One day at work a male coworker said in a mockingly high-pitched voice, “I’m transgender!” The letter writer didn’t know what to do or say and regretted her silence.

Let’s put aside that Dear Abby should have expressed sympathy that the mom’s child is mentally ill. Instead. Abigail Van Buren shared that trans are less than 1 percent of the population and are being scapegoated by ignorant, ill-informed individuals — that’s Patriots! — who don’t understand gender identity disorder.

Ms. Van Buren included in her ridiculous response: “Trans people are a danger to no one, and they don’t deserve to be ridiculed.”

How about we let Ms. Ignorant Van Buren know about all the things trans folks are doing that hurt CHILDREN! Drag queen reading hours at libraries, parading around with much of their genital for all to see, encouraging CHILDREN that it’s okay to change their biological sex, having males participating in female sports, etc.

If You Shop Walmart, You Might Support Leftists:

Christy Walton did not become an heiress by inventing a needed product, opening a popular store or starting on the ground floor of a fledgling corporation. She earned her billions solely by marrying a Walton. The 76-year-old Walton is the widow of John T. Walton, son of Walmart founder Sam Walton. The anti-America Christy Walton received most of his $18.2 billion fortune when John died in 2005.

Days before the ridiculous “No Kings Day” protests, Walton spent $20 MILLION running a full-page ad in the leftist New York Times. She has supported anti-America protests in other ways, too. Walmart issued a statement: "The advertisements from Christy Walton are in no way connected to or endorsed by Walmart. She does not serve on the board or play any role in decision-making at Walmart.”

Christy Walton might be a billionaire, but she is stupid. The United States of America has held a “No Kings Day” every year since 1776 — on July 4.

Unconditional Surrender:

President Trump has made it very clear to Iranian leadership (what’s left of it) that their only alternative is “unconditional surrender.” American Union General Ulysses S. Grant, who later was president for two terms, became known as “Unconditional Surrender Grant” during the Civil War.

In February 1862, Confederates were losing the Battle of Fort Donelson. Confederate General Simon Buckner sent a note to General Grant asking what his terms of surrender would be. Grant famously responded, “No terms except an unconditional and immediate surrender can be accepted.”

The legendary response was repeated on July 4, 1863 at Vicksburg. Again, the Confederate general sought terms of surrender and General Grant responded to General Pemberton with “unconditional surrender.” In this instance, the Confederate general rejected Grant’s demand. Realizing that it would be difficult for his Union troops to manage such a large number of prisoners of war, Grant presented more palatable options. The Confederates were offered parole, which allowed them to return home with the promise not to fight again. (Who knows how many kept that promise?)

With or without an “unconditional surrender,” Vicksburg was an important Union victory since it split the Confederacy and gave the Union control of the vital Mississippi River.

MAGA not Splitting, Listen to J.D. Vance:

It was a just a few months ago that MAGA was supposedly splitting apart due to President Trump’s proposed tariffs. The so-called influencers claimed that tariffs would cause a recession. Yeah, the recession lasted two days—ha!

Ditto for the difference of opinion regarding the United States supporting Israel in taking out Iran’s nuclear arsenal. We can’t have an AMERICA FIRST president unless he puts America First. Making sure Iran cannot follow through on the mullah’s daily chants of “Death to America!” (along with “Death to Israel!”) is keeping America First.

Some, not all, of the so-called “influencers” are people who thought they would have a revolving door to the Trump 2.0 White House, and they are angry that they don’t. They are angry they are not part of Trump’s inner circle.

Vice President J.D. Vance, writing on Truth Social (excerpts): “POTUS has been amazingly consistent, over 10 years, that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. Over the last few months, he encouraged his foreign policy team to reach a deal with the Iranians to accomplish this goal ...
