From Around the Nation:
Budget in the Works: DOGE rescissions package advances to full House vote.
Federal Land Grabs: Justice Department "paves the way to rein in federal land grabs. The Justice Department (DOJ) said on Tuesday that President Donald Trump has the authority to revoke national monument designations made by previous presidents, including two massive tracts of land in California that former President Joe Biden locked off from development." Over 25% of American land is owned by the federal government. Eighty percent of Nevada, and sixty one percent of Alaska. That needs to end.
Can the GOP Win the Virginia Governor's Race? Most people assume that Virginia is a southern state, but that is true only for its location. Since the northern part of the state is home to MANY D.C. federal workers (who hate Donald Trump and the Republican Party), the rest of the state suffers. (Just as California suffers because of Los Angeles and San Francisco.) Here are some reasons why popular Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin might be replaced by a Democrat in this year’s gubernatorial election:
- Virginia holds off-year gubernatorial elections, which usually results in low turnout. Democrats will still come out to vote, but not so much Republicans.
- Virginia (and especially the northern part of the state) is heavily dependent on federal jobs. Guess which party embraces federal jobs?
- Virginia has a ONE-term limit for its governors. (It should be two terms, but that’s what it is.)
- Virginia has a tradition of voting in the opposite party of the incumbent. (Dumb, hub?)
Idaho: The Pride Season Kickoff that was originally scheduled in Boise for June 6, was cancelled due to insufficient attendance. Let’s see how the bigger celebration planned for September goes. By the way, why is there a pride “season”? If anything we should have a season to thank our veterans for all they’ve done for our nation.
June is Pride In America Month: Yes, we know there are some folks who continue to have pride in mental
illness and devote the entire month of June to this idiocy. For those
who have gray matter between their ears, June is the month we show pride
in the United States of America and recognize our outstanding veterans.
Put up your patriotic colors as we lead up to our Independence Day
celebration.
Pennsylvania: Wilkinsburg Mayor Dontae Comans used his Facebook account to post a “community alert” and warn illegal alien criminals in his city about ICE operations so he could help the illegal alien criminals evade arrest. Will the Bondi Justice Department arrest Comans? To share your thoughts with Mayor Comans: Email: dcomans@wilkinsburgpa.gov Phone: 412-244-202- Write: 605 Ross Avenue, Wilkinsburg, PA 15221
The Next Generation: Young Americans are Returning to Traditionalism Young people, raised in an era of rapid technological change, social fragmentation, and existential uncertainty, are seeking meaning and stability in timeless institutions and traditions...........

Events from around the globe
Europe: We wrote here about about Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s seminal speech to NATO leaders in Brussels, where he warned that Europeans must be primarily responsible for dealing with the Russian threat. Russia is not, for the U.S., a peer rival, Hegseth said. But China is. America’s focus will be on its rivalry with China and the need to protect our borders. As to Russia, we can help, but Europeans must take the lead.......
North Korea: The BBC reports that if a North Korean uses a word on their smartphone that has been blocked by the government, the phone will automatically edit the word. At the same time, there are “youth crackdown squads” patrolling the streets to listen to conversations. If anyone is heard using South Korean words or phrases, they will be reported.
Argentina: Milei: Argentina Moving Israel Embassy to Jerusalem in 2026 - Argentinian President Javier Milei announced Wednesday in an address to Israel’s parliament, the Knesset, that his country would move its embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem in 2026, following America’s lead............
China: Former Chinese Military Doctor Leaks CCP Plan to Use Taiwanese Troops as Organ Bank. - Dr. Zheng Zhi warns Taiwanese people of the plan at a screening of award winning documentary ‘State Organ’ in Taiwan......
France: The antisemitic French government, led by President Emanuel Macron, should stop telling Israel to support a suicidal two-state solution when France won’t do the same for its Muslim citizens.
Kyrgyzstan: The Russo/Ukrainian War has given former Soviet Republics a push to ignore Russian influence.
- Kazakhstan and Afghanistan Sign Protocol of Intention on Railway Construction - The railway is one aspect of regional transport development that could transform Afghanistan into a vital transit corridor linking Central Asia to South Asia, offering Kazakhstan maritime trade access and potentially tripling cargo transport by 2030. The project reflects Kazakhstan’s growing engagement with Afghanistan, bolstered by the removal of the Taliban from its terrorist list and a projected $500 million investment...........
- Kyrgyzstan Removes Statue of Communist Dictator Vladimir Lenin from Second City. These Central Asian nations are actually siding up with China, and make no mistake, in spite of news reports about Russo/Chinese solidarity, that's all smoke and mirrors, allies of convenience, and temporary allies at best. They have history, and that history isn't harmonious, and that history is the real foundation for the real relationship between Russia and China.
Poland: Conservative Karol Nawrocki won the presidential election. With all votes counted, right-wing historian Karol Nawrocki has been elected Poland's new president, the state electoral commission (PKW) said. PKW said Nawrocki won 50.9% percent of the votes – ahead of Warsaw's liberal mayor Rafal Trzaskowski on 49.1% percent............
South Korea: Liberal Lee Jae-myung won the presidential election........
"Voters weren't necessarily expressing strong support for Lee's agenda, rather they were responding to what they saw as a breakdown of democracy," Park Sung-min, president of Min Consulting, told the BBC. "The election became a vehicle for expressing outrage... [and] was a clear rebuke of the ruling party, which had been complicit in or directly responsible for the martial law measures."
The Brits did that with the Tories and voted in an insane leftist government. Look how well that's turned out. British Government: Western Cultural Concerns Are Signs of “Right-Wing Terrorist Ideology”
