Why Does Fox News Allow Donna Brazile To Make a Joke of Them?

By —— Bio and Archives--August 26, 2020

The Fox News cheerleading for the Democrats in the midst of the 2020 election campaign has seeped over to the popular “Fox & Friends” show.

“On Tuesday, Fox News contributor and former Democratic National Committee chair Donna Brazile became irate on “Fox & Friends” when speaking with conservative pundit Tammy Bruce about the current wave of violence breaking out across America. The moment became so heated that co-host Brian Kilmeade had to cut away. (Daily Wire, Aug. 26, 2020)

Really?!

Why would anyone trust a prominent network escaping “Fake News” branding who hired the former Democratic National Committee chair as a “contributor”?  Did Fox & Friends have to have self-described “good Catholic girl” Brazile on spewing her Democrat propaganda on the second night of the Republican Convention?  Or was Brazile given the floor over at Fox, as a nifty way to drain attention from the second night of the Republican Convention?

Do popular Fox News hosts like Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham cringe when they see Brazile in full-blown hissy mode, or do they just cut away and look the other way? Last night’s latest Brazile hissy fit when down something like this:............To Read More....

My Take - I've met Donna Brazile and considered her one of the most dangerous Democrats in Washington because I thought she was so likable. Wow! How wrong can you be? She also told me she never saw corruption in Washington.  That of course must have been until she became part of it when she was Chairman of the Democratic National Committee, angling everything to put the fix in for Hillary.  So, her hissy fit was her way of defending her corruption in order to overcome facts and reality.

CAIR: Fire Jeanine Pirro for Remarks About Rep. Omar’s Hijab and Shari’a

By Patrick Goodenough | March 11, 2019

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is calling on Fox News to fire host Jeanine Pirro – and wants her show’s advertisers boycotted until it does – after Pirro linked Rep. Ilhan Omar’s wearing of a hijab to shari’a (Islamic law), and said that shari’a was “antithetical to the U.S. Constitution.”

CAIR, which calls itself the nation’s biggest Muslim civil rights and advocacy group, claimed Sunday that Pirro in her program the previous night “falsely claimed Omar’s decision to wear hijab is ‘antithetical to the U.S. Constitution.’”

(Pirro in fact said that shari’a, not Omar’s head covering, was “antithetical to the U.S. Constitution.”)

“Such an open and un-American expression of religious bigotry should be rejected by any media outlet seeking even a modicum of credibility,” said CAIR national executive director Nihad Awad. “Jeanine Pirro should be fired, and Fox News should apologize to its viewing audience.”

“Awad also called for an advertiser boycott of the program until Pirro is fired,” CAIR added........

Fox News in a brief statement on Sunday said, “We strongly condemn Judge Jeanine Pirro’s comments about Rep. Ilhan Omar. They do not reflect those of the network and we have addressed the matter with her directly.”............Critics observe that in countries where shari’a is enforced – for example Pakistan, Somalia, Sudan and Saudi Arabia – so-called hudud punishments (literally “limitations imposed by Allah”) include stoning, limb amputation and flogging for adultery and theft, and the death penalty for apostasy..............To Read More.....

My Take - This is the problem when bean counters take control from the visionaries who created something. Let's try and get this right .... One More Time ....... Islam is not a religion.  It's a medieval political criminal movement masquerading as a religion, and I have some questions:
  • What comments made by Pirro is Fox News condemning?
  • Were her statements untruthful?
  • What are the views that reflect the networks views?
  • What are they going to discuss with Pirro except how to be politically correct in the face of massive evidence Muslims living in America really do want to destroy America?
Perhaps they will let me question them and discuss their views for publication?  Even better yet, let's have Pirro do a show about this 'discussion' Fox wants to have with her.  I hope she tells them to shove it and dare to fire her.

Fox should have sat this one out

By Elad Hakim November 15, 2018

Today, Judge Timothy Kelly of the U.S. District Court in Washington D.C. is to issue his ruling as to whether to temporarily reinstate Jim Acosta’s White House press credentials. Kelly listened to the arguments from the various parties on Wednesday. Acosta asserted, in part, that the Trump administration’s decision to strip him of his press credentials was based solely on objections to the substance of his questions, in violation of his First Amendment rights. The administration pointed to Acosta’s rude behavior/conduct as the reason for its decision. That same day, Fox News announced that the network would back CNN in its lawsuit demanding the restoration of Acosta’s pass. According to Jay Wallace, Fox News president and executive editor:
“Secret Service passes for working White House journalists should never be weaponized. While we don’t condone the growing antagonistic tone by both the President and the press at recent media avails, we do support a free press, access and open exchanges for the American people.”........To Read More.....
My Take - It's my view Fox News is going to move to the left, slowing, inexorably but definitely.  It's also my view there will be another news station in the offing when Fox News is part of the leftist cabal, and that will be the end of Fox News, and truthfully, that won't bother me all that much since I stopped watching all but a few of their shows.

I don't like the lack of intellectual in depth discussion, I don't like all the emoting, and I don't like the idea that "news" shows are too concerned about being entertaining.  The best news show I ever watched was William F. Buckley's Firing Line.  No shouting, no interruptions, in depth discussion that was profound and provocative, and almost no one knows what I'm talking about when I bring it up.  Then there was Fred Friendly's Ethics in America series.

Absolutely amazing, and even fewer people heard of them.

America is now the center of the infromation universe.  There's more access to more information in the United States than any country in the world and in all time, and yet we're stunningly ignorant as a society.  No wonder so many "Feel the Bern"!

Juan Williams's comparison to Chappaquiddick could not have been dumber

On the April 5 Fox show The Five, the crew was discussing the movie Chappaquiddick and how some "powerful people on the left" tried to block the movie. It is telling that some still want to block a movie about how Kennedy left Mary Jo Kopechne to die inside the submerged car that he drove off the bridge in 1969. Kennedy is dead, so why hide the truth at this late stage?

Kennedy is dead, so why hide the truth at this late stage? ............  He said that while the left wanted to block the Chappaquiddick movie, the "right" wanted to block the movie about President Reagan's last years while he was afflicted with Alzheimer's. This is beyond stupidity and civility............Read more

My Take - Juan Williams is a disgrace and has always been one.  The only reason he has that seat on The Five is because that's the seat leftist disgraces occupy, just like to original leftist disgrace to appear on The Five - Bob Beckel.  If Williams couldn't spew out logical fallacies he wouldn't be able to talk.   At least Jesse Watters doesn't let him get away with as did Eric Bolling, who I often thought was out of his depth.

It’s Time for Juan Williams to Go

His double-talking defense of Democrats who embraced Louis Farrakhan, and of Farrakhan himself, is the last straw For the past ten months that I have been reporting prolifically about the cable news wars and the Fox News Channel, readers who have posted comments to my articles have most often cited Juan Williams as the #1 Fox News personality whom they cannot stand.

I am willing to cut any opinion meister a lot of slack, but the last straw for me came on Friday March 9, when Williams appeared live in-studio with Shannon Bream on her nightly program Fox News@Night. On Bream’s program, Williams defended Democrats who have cozied up to Louis Farrakhan, the leader of the Nation of Islam. Incredibly, on Fox News@Night, Williams also defended Farrakhan himself.............Read more

My Take - I've always found Williams contemptible.  I could never understand how the conservatives on that panel could be such buddies with someone who spews out logical fallacies in order to obfuscate the facts.    Perhaps I'm reading more into this than there is, but it seems to me with Jesse Waters sitting in the lead chair Williams isn't allowed to get away with his antics nearly as much as before.  Waters appears to simply ignore his interruptions and red herrings.  Williams is a racist, just like Farrakhan, and just like the people he defends who associate with him.    Why is that so hard to grasp?

Fox News’s 'Scandalous' on Feb. 25 is right over the target

A Fox program that dispassionately presents the historic details of Bill Clinton's sordid past looks well worth watching.

18 February 25, 2018 By Peter Barry Chowka

On Sunday, Feb. 25, the Fox News Channel will premiere part 6, the second-to-last episode, of its new series Scandalous that focuses on the 20th century scandals involving Bill and Hillary Clinton. Parts 1-5 of Scandalous – the series premiered on Jan. 21 – have been the highest rated programs on all of cable news on each Sunday night that they have been broadcast.

On Sunday Feb. 18, for example, the Nielsen Research ratings confirmed that episode 5 of Scandalous trounced parts 3 and 4 of CNN’s heavily promoted six-hour documentary series on Patty Hearst and also had higher ratings than any other program on the three major cable news channels during that entire day and night.

Scandalous is a detailed, chronological account of the scandals involving Bill and Hillary Clinton through 1999, when President Clinton was tried for impeachment in the U.S. Senate. Each episode of Scandalous has been more compelling than the previous one as the dramatic documentary builds momentum to the denouement – the impeachment trial of Bill Clinton – the first trial in the Senate of a U.S. president for high crimes and misdemeanors in 130 years.............. 13 Reasons Fox Viewers Want Shep Smith Fired

News anchor has history of defending Hillary, blasting Trump

WND November 18, 2017

It's a known fact that in 2010 a committee including Hillary Clinton and eight other members of President Barack Obama's Cabinet approved a deal allowing a Russian company to obtain 20 percent of America's uranium production by acquiring Canada-based Uranium One.

The Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States, a panel charged with reviewing any business deal that potentially impacts national security, approved the transaction in October of that year............Continue Reading.....

The latest cable ratings are not good tidings for Fox News

By Peter Barry Chowka June 14, 2017

The official Nielsen Media Research cable TV ratings for the weekend of June 10 and 11, 2017 are out, and the ping-pong effect of the popularity of the three cable news channels is continuing. Overall, Fox News (FNC) continues in a weakened position compared with its performance in past years. This change in the fortunes of FNC followed the upheavals in management and the imposition of a weak new lineup of programs this spring.

Cable news ratings for Saturdays and Sundays are often very different from ratings for weekdays. For one thing, MSNBC, the consistently virulent anti-Trump channel, is now beating FNC and CNN during most weekdays. But on weekend evenings, much of MSNBC's schedule is inexplicably devoted not to news, but to reality shows focusing on the lives of convicted criminals behind bars. In the current hyper-polarized political climate, these "lockup" programs are not ratings winners..............Read more

The Murdoch Boys and the Future of Fox News

By Peter Barry Chowka

The Fake News-inspired perception that existential problems are enveloping the Trump Administration is expanding and deepening. As this questionable meme takes hold, it appears that the current toxic political climate is drawing more anti-Trump viewers to the partisan attack “resistance” programs that are playing out nightly on two of the three cable television news channels. Meanwhile, the new ratings war among the three 24/7 cable news outlets is settling into an ongoing war of attrition.

In recent weeks, the Fox News Channel (FNC), considered the most friendly to President Trump, has lost the commanding ratings lead that it held for the past decade and a half. On most – but not all – weeknights now, FNC is coming in second or third to MSNBC in prime time when the preferred demographic or “the demo” (viewers between the ages of 25 and 54) is the metric. The other anti-Trump channel, CNN, has seen its ratings rise, too, and occasionally it wins an hour or two in prime time. With the future of FNC’s iconic conservative program Hannity in doubt, the outlook for Fox News is, at best, increasingly uncertain........James’s wife Kathryn was a marketing executive and is now a dedicated environmental activist............Lachlan Murdoch’s wife Sarah is a former super model who is reportedly a close confidante of her father-in-law, Rupert Murdoch........influenced her husband and father-in-law to fire Bill O’Reilly..........

Those of us who follow the news obsessively or professionally have known for years that FNC and most other large mainstream media outlets are increasingly ancillary sources. Trusted and new online news sites, including video and podcast reporting – as well as insights obtained from monitoring previously hard to access international media – are now becoming the primary sources of information for understanding our times..............More

My Take - It's been clear for some time Fox is in trouble and it's rating are going to continue to decline.  It's clear to me ,and I think a great many of those " who follow the news obsessively or professionally", there's going to be another news station that's really conservative.  I don't like O'Reilly and I think he's a phony, but I also think there's a good chance he'll be the center piece for that network show.  MSNBC and other leftist propaganda mediums are doing well right now, but reality eventually overcomes propaganda - if there are those willing to take the propagandists on.   That's why blogs have done so well in recent years, and they will continue to do well because the parameters news bosses put on "the truth" in it's reports are non-existent.

Truth is the sublime congergence of history and reality.  Everything we're told has an historical foundation and context.  Everything we'er told should bear some resemblance to what we see going on in reality. If what's presented to us fails in either of those categories - it's wrong.  All that's left to do is develop the intellectual response to explain why it's wrong.  And find those with the courage to do it.

Bob Beckel fired by Fox News (again)

By Thomas Lifson May 21, 2017

More turmoil at the Fox News Channel, as Bob Beckel, a cast member of the prime time program The Five, has been fired in a scandal with shocking racial overtones. Dave Bauder of the Associated Press reports............Read more

My Take - What they should have fired him for was for being stupid.  They tolerated his rediculous clabber, right along with Juan Williams and Geraldo.  I would think stupid would be a criteria for being on any news show, but it isn't - and the ratings at Fox are starting to show it.  I hope the rest of that crew starts to get tougher on Williams and Geraldo.  Without logical fallacies and out right inaccuracies they're left with nothing to say.  Stop being buddies with these people.  I'm not saying be impolite - but they're not friends of conservatives or conservative thought.  Beat their arguments with the biggest stick you can find.

The Rise of CNN 2.0?

Written by James Baxley

Now in an earlier post I alluded to the fact that James Murdoch may have been happy that O’Reilly was let go from Fox News. Of course he was, he was a donor to the Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign and her past campaigns; his wife Kathryn Murdoch even worked for the Hillary Clinton. Fox News is branded as a conservative right-leaning news network, but behind the scenes is a much different story. The majority of the Murdoch clan wanted O’Reilly ousted.......To Read More.....

CNN Confirms – Judge Napolitano was Right – Brits Gathered Info on Trump then Gave it to Obama

By Onan Coca April 13, 2017

If CNN has the story right, this would be HUGE news, and it would be particularly satisfying for Judge Andrew Napolitano. You might recall that about a month ago Judge Nap announced on Fox News’ morning show Fox and Friends that his sources told him that President Obama had gone outside of the United States to get intel on Donald Trump from the UK’s GSHQ (their intelligence agency). Here’s what Judge Nap said:
Three intelligence sources have informed Fox News that President Obama went outside the chain of command. He didn’t use the NSA, he didn’t use the CIA, he didn’t use the FBI, and he didn’t use the Department of Justice… He used GCHQ. What the heck is GCHQ? That’s the initials for the British spying agency. They have 24/7 access to the NSA database. So by simply having two people go to them and say ‘President Obama needs transcripts of conversations involving Candidate Trump, conversations involving President-Elect Trump,’ [Obama’s] able to get it, and there’s no American fingerprints on this.

A few days after that Fox News suspended Napolitano after their media competitors and the British Intelligence community attacked Napolitano’s story as ridiculous. When Napolitano finally returned to the airwaves, he doubled-down and said that he and his sources stand by their reporting and were sure the truth would one day be made known.......To Read More.....
