How Much Of This Has Been Paid For By The U.S. Taxpayer?

Elon Musk and the DOGE crew are now a few weeks into their work, and the examples of brazen waste, fraud, and misuse of taxpayer funds are exploding forth like a gusher.

At the first agency targeted, USAID, an early revelation was that much of the left-wing press has been quietly underwritten by the taxpayers in the form of hundreds of phony premium-priced subscriptions to such outlets as The New York Times, Associated Press, Politico, and Reuters. On February 5, the White House put out a document titled “At USAID, Waste and Abuse Runs Deep,” listing a dozen or so categories of abusive payments, including “Millions to EcoHealth Alliance — which was involved in research at the Wuhan lab . . . Hundreds of thousands of meals that went to al Qaeda-affiliated fighters in Syria . . . Hundreds of millions of dollars to fund . . . the unprecedented poppy cultivation and heroin production in Afghanistan, benefiting the Taliban. . . .”

These are just examples. What other pet causes and activities of the Left have been getting paid for by USAID, and more broadly, by other various federal agencies?

A notable aspect of the past few weeks is that the shutting down of some of the federal money spigot funding the Left has been accompanied by the drying up of many of the notable activities of recent years. Could it be that many of these activities have been funded by the American taxpayers? Here are some examples where I would like to know how much has been paid for by the U.S. taxpayer:

Migrant caravans. We have been treated to extensive reporting of caravans of thousands of people trekking north from South America, through Central America and Mexico to the U.S. border. These treks take weeks. During that time, the people appear to be well fed. They seem to have camping supplies and equipment that magically appear for them to sleep at night. The cost of organizing one of these caravans and feeding and supplying it has to run into the many millions of dollars. Suddenly with USAID disrupted, the caravans have melted away. Who was putting up the money for these caravans? Did much of it come from the U.S. taxpayer?

Services in the U.S. to illegal aliens. Services provided to illegal aliens once in the U.S. can vary greatly from place to place, but can include everything from food to shelter to medical care to help finding a permanent home. Many to most illegal aliens also seem to have access to legal advice on how to avoid getting deported or how to present a claim for asylum. How much of all of this gets funded by the federal taxpayer? As another gigantic example, illegal aliens are supposedly not eligible for Medicaid and other federal medical assistance. Does anybody think that the Biden administration actually enforced this rule? How many illegal aliens in fact are receiving federally-funded medical care?

DEI. Over the past few years, a whole infrastructure of “diversity, equity and inclusion” stuff has been put together — staffs in every business and school, training programs, curricula, books, etc., etc. Who has been paying for this, particularly in the education sector? On February 11, Fox News here reported that DOGE had found and cut some $100 million of spending in the Department of Education directed toward DEI training programs in public schools. That is a start, but clearly is just a tiny piece of total spending on DEI. How much have the federal taxpayers been spending to support this propaganda?

Climate alarm. As with DEI, schools are filled with an infrastructure of climate alarm propaganda, ranging from staff training to curricula to textbooks and more. How much is the federal government spending on this?

Those are just a few categories that occur to me today. The funding model of agencies like USAID appears to be to make multi-million dollar grants to left-wing NGOs for high-minded sounding topics like “promoting democracy,” and then the NGOs spend the money as they see fit. It would not surprise me at all if we start to learn that things like Antifa and Black Lives Matter got large amounts of back-door funding that originated with the federal taxpayer. And how about the wave of anti-semitic demonstrations and riots that broke out on U.S. campuses in the aftermath of the massacre of October 7, 2023? Was federal taxpayer money involved in supporting that? I would actually be surprised if it wasn’t.

Cautiously Optimistic

I have to admit that I’m a skeptic when it comes to politicians and their promises. I don’t trust the government to have our best interests in mind.  The Federal Beast in DC and the swamp creatures that have taken over our nation are not our friends, our representatives or our public servants.  DC is a cesspool of corruption, shady backroom deals and dirty money.

But I must say I’ve been encouraged by Donald Trump’s first couple of weeks back in office.  He’s done more positive things for America in a couple weeks than Biden, Harris and Obama ever did in their entire careers.  Of course, the Leftists I just mentioned have a different agenda and a different vision for America.  Their stated goal was to “build back better,” but of course, in order to do that, they first had to tear down and burn down our nation as much as possible.  And what they consider “better” is actually a perpetual nightmare for us citizens, and a one-way ticket to all-out communism and dictatorial control.

As I’ve said before, if something is a good idea, and a real positive thing, people will flock to it on their own.  If something is, in fact, a burden, an affliction, a hindrance, a punishment and a nightmare, then it needs to be forced upon us.  Obamacare.  Forced to buy something you don’t want, that doesn’t benefit you and that costs a fortune, or be penalized for refusing.  The jab.  “Take the jab or lose your job.”  The Green New Deal.  No more gas stoves, everything electric, including the car you drive.  Mandatory.  Forced upon us, whether we like it or not.

If Obamacare was what it was sold to us as: “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor;” “Cheaper than your monthly cell phone bill,” etc., then people would have loved it.  I remember when Obamacare took effect.  Our family had a wonderful health insurance policy that cost us around $400 a month.  Then we got the letter from our insurance provider.  Effective the first of the year, our new premium would be $1600 a month, and our deductible would increase to $12,000.  Pay the bill or pay a penalty on your income tax return.  Your choice.  We took the penalty.  Because there was no way we could afford what amounted to more than a whole new mortgage on a whole new home.

The jab.  At first, they coerced people into taking it, calling it “safe and effective.” But of course, if you got the jab, it wouldn’t work unless I got the jab too.  We later learned, as Big Pharma confessed, it was not effective...it didn’t stop the spread of any virus, and though they still try their best to hide the data, we now know it wasn’t safe either.  In fact, it’s been the cause of millions of hideous deaths and life-long injuries.  Blood clots were pulled from dead bodies by morticians who never saw anything like it before.  They described the clots as “window caulk” and “liquid nails.”

We saw young people who’d been jabbed dying of sudden heart attacks.  “Turbo cancers” rose to levels we’ve never seen before, as life insurance companies struggled to keep up with the death rate, and millions of people just “died suddenly,” after taking the jabs.

But our Federal government forced this upon us and many lost their jobs because they refused to be lab rats for Fauci.  Others went along because they couldn’t risk losing their jobs, and soon after, they lost their lives.

Not to mention the hospital mandates, forced upon us, once again, by the Federal government.  The only allowable treatment for COVID was Remdesivir — a bioweapon that literally melted internal organs.  They knew this would be the outcome, but free speech was so stifled, we couldn’t even post alternative remedies to COVID on social media — Vitamin C, Zinc, Vitamin D3 — all “disinformation.”  Ivermectin was called “horse paste,” and that, along with HCQ — proven by multiple doctors around the world to dramatically cure patients of COVID quickly — were forbidden.  Pharmacies refused to fill those prescriptions, and many doctors who advocated for them lost their licenses.

Let’s not forget that.  Nor should we forget the Green New Deal...shutting down our energy resources in favor of all-electric everything. Never mind that you need to burn something in order to create electricity.  It was all a money-making scam, and hopefully most people understand that now.

It seems like a new day in America now.  I’m grateful to President Trump for pardoning the J6 political prisoners...hunted down and persecuted by a weaponized DOJ and FBI.  And while our FBI lied about the infamous Hunter Biden laptop, loaded with damning evidence of crimes committed by the sitting president and his family, they relentlessly pursued all those who rallied in DC to question an obviously stolen election.

Most of those arrested and imprisoned never broke any law, but that made no difference to the Biden administration’s so-called “Justice system.”  You could be charged with a felony just for holding a flag at the rally.  Radical Leftist judges would offer “plea deals” — meaning you would plead guilty and get a lesser sentence.  Those who refused to take the deal were aggressively prosecuted.  A pastor friend of mine, who simply preached to the crowd on January 6, was sentenced to thirty years in prison.  He never even entered the capital building.  This was our nation just a few weeks ago.

On his first day in office, Trump pardoned all those J6 hostages — including those who had been hunted down and jailed but not yet charged.  Today, they’ve all been released.  But through their ordeals, many incurred huge legal fees while trying to fight for fair trials.  Many lost their homes, their jobs — and some have lost their lives. 

Trump also declared a national emergency at our southern border and ended so-called “sanctuary cities” across America.  Approximately 10,000 troops have been sent to the border to assist the border patrol.  Gangs of illegals are now being deported back to their home countries.  We need all criminal illegals to be sent back where they came from, and others to become American citizens legally — learning our history and taking an oath to become Americans.  But what a totally unnecessary expense.  Not only have taxpayers beared the burden of bringing these illegals here in the first place — some with direct flights from their home countries, and then providing them with free food, housing, healthcare and more — but now we have to bear the financial burden of sending them back.

In his first days in office, Trump also cut the size of the federal workforce, ended federal “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” programs and declared there are only two genders: male and female.  Not 72, only two. What a concept!

It seems DEI is on its last legs, as even major corporations are stepping away now from kowtowing to the LGBTQP+ and “trans” agendas.  Target stores, in particular, have announced they are ending their association with the Human Rights Campaign, an organization that shames companies into supporting these degenerate causes.  Target, you may recall, was the first to implement the “transgender” restroom policies and last summer, promoted “trans” clothing, including swimwear, for children.  For me, it’s too little, too late. Target hasn’t gotten one cent from me in years and never will again.

Trump also removed us from the Climate Change nonsense, by withdrawing the US from the Paris Climate Agreement.  And we’re withdrawing from the World Health Organization, which has been poised to implement global control of sovereign nations.

And at the end of his first week, Trump visited North Carolina, devastated by Hurricane Helene in September.  Many people there are still living in tents, in the middle of winter.  The majority of helpful support residents there received was from individuals who volunteered their time and talents to help with cleanup, emergency supplies and temporary housing.  FEMA’s efforts can only be described as a colossal failure.  Months after the devastation, thousands who applied for FEMA aid are still waiting for something — anything — and many have already been told they don’t qualify for any aid.

Trump has vowed to speed up the process and cut the governmental red tape that’s been holding up the recovery process there.  He also visited California, which is still burning, and he pledged his support to help the fire victims there. 

I should also mention Trump’s pardon of the many pro-lifers who have been jailed for simply standing in the gap for the unborn, about to be slaughtered by abortion.  The previous administration hunted down pro-lifers, just as they hunted the J6ers and many went to prison.  They’re now free as well.  Now, a bill has been introduced in the Senate to repeal the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances act (or FACE) — the law the Biden administration used to convict 23 pro-lifers who prayed outside abortion clinics and urged women in unplanned pregnancies to choose life.

He also followed through with his promise to declassify the files on the JFK, RFK and Martin Luther King assassinations.  And he has promised to release “everything.” It will be interesting to see what “everything” entails.  I hope it really is everything, because then we will finally have the solid proof that our CIA orchestrated all of those killings.

And he’s halted all foreign aid, pending review, including all aid to Ukraine.  Hopefully a peaceful end to this needless war will soon be coming.  And he ordered the Secretary of the Interior to officially rename the Gulf of Mexico, the Gulf of America.  Even Google Maps is complying with this.

It appears to be a new day in America, where our new President is truly putting Americans ahead of the interests of our enemies.  I still think the Federal government has too much power.  Apparently, they have the power to remove our rights and the power to restore them, if they so choose.  That’s not how it’s supposed to be, and our Founders set this nation up with three branches of government to give us a system of checks and balances.  It shouldn’t have to take executive orders by any president to get things done.

But Congress, I believe, will remain hopelessly lost in gridlock.  Two opposing parties, fighting each other, rather than fighting for what’s right and best for our nation.  Trump’s actions in his first days have been mostly encouraging, but those charged with the duty to represent us as citizens should have been doing that all along.  If they had, we wouldn’t have such a disastrous train wreck to come back from.  But that’s the way it is in DC, and I don’t see the Swamp changing.  Too many there are making too much money, serving their own interests rather than those of the people.

I am extremely concerned though, about Trump’s big announcement regarding a massive expansion of Artificial Intelligence, or “AI.”  He’s got companies investing more than a half trillion dollars to rapidly expand AI in this country, with a specific focus on our healthcare.  This is dangerous stuff.

First of all, if you do some research, you’ll find that AI is truly demonic in nature.  I’m sure Trump believes it’s just the next new wave of technology and he wants America to lead the way.  He doesn’t understand the evil behind it.  He envisions AI being able to detect pre-cancerous cells in our bodies and then be able to manufacture new mRNA vaccines — specific to each individual — within 48 hours.   

Have we not learned our lesson regarding DNA-altering jabs?  Or the tyranny our healthcare system will heap upon us when given the chance?  Leave our DNA alone, Donald.  Nothing good can come from this, but rather, I believe, it will put us on the fast track to something so evil we can’t even imagine the implications now. Yes, I think he has good intentions with this. But once again, I think he’s being manipulated, just as he was with COVID, only a million times worse. 

For now, there’s much work to be done, and we can’t just sit back and leave it up to Trump to “fix it all.” Those of us who claim the name of Christ must take this opportunity to “build back better,” and by that, I mean courageously and boldly working to bring individual people, couples and families back to God and His perfect plan for mankind.  If we don’t take this opportunity to return our culture to one of personal accountability and holiness — if we continue to sit back and do nothing, then our nation will remain under judgment, and things will be even worse four years from now than it’s been the last four.  If you can imagine that.

On January 20th, at 12 noon, Sunrise in America appeared. It had been four very long, very disastrous and very costly years we have come through. By God's Grace, America was given another chance to return to the principles which founded this exceptional nation. We have never been a perfect nation, not even from our inception. But we have been an exceptional nation given our founding doctrines and principles by our founders were given to them by God, and those Judeo-Christian principles are written for all to see in our founding doctrines. Diabolic forces have been (and still are) at work to remove our founding principles and collapse our nation into a global community where national sovereignty doesn't exist. America has been holding this transition up by remaining loyal to our founding doctrines all the while there have been severe attempts to collapse us by elected and appointed officials who swore and oath to Preserve, Protect and Defend our Constitution and founding principles from ALL enemies, foreign and domestic.

One method used, and for the most part in plain sight, is the mass illegal invasion promoted by global adherents and their acolytes. With NO respect for national sovereignty these traitors to our Constitution, Bill of Rights and associated principles have proceeded to use the various means at their disposal to collapse our national borders and bring in hardened criminals, the mentally and physically ill, and even military from countries who hate America. Illegals from over 160-countries have been allowed to virtually walk into America with no regard, no restrictions. The traitors to our national sovereignty and the Oaths of Office they took, have given money (many reports show up to $5,000 per month) along with new clothes, shoes, backpacks and debit cards plus plane tickets to major cities.

The Marxists that have infiltrated our government at all levels have not stopped wringing their hands and planning ways to undermine President Trump. But millions of Americans have arisen and are cheering President Trump and his new Director of Border Security Tom Homan onward to restore sovereignty, to restore a strong sense of security from the invasion across our borders. Director Homan has said it most clearly, "If you are in this country illegally, your time here is up!"

I have been privileged to meet and confer with Director Homan on two occasions, and to exchange dialogue on a few more occasions. He also graciously took time away from an incredible schedule to appear on my program ARIZONA TODAY twice. I share without hesitation Tom Homan is genuine and he cares deeply for America, our security, and our future. He is not puffed up with ego. I saw this sitting directly across from him with only one other person in the room; no cameras, no microphones, no one else present.

Former MP Exposes Horror: Children Trafficked, Abused, and Organs Harvested While Elites Protect the Guilty (Video)

The horrifying scandal of grooming gangs in Great Britain, predominantly involving men of Pakistani origin, has reignited public outrage. For years, these gangs operated with impunity in cities across the UK, preying on underage white girls, exploiting, abusing, and destroying countless lives. Authorities, paralyzed by a fear of being labeled racist, turned a blind eye, allowing the systematic abuse to continue unchecked. Now, revelations suggest this scandal is just the tip of the iceberg.

Elon Musk Demands Accountability

Elon Musk, the CEO of X, recently highlighted this appalling issue, calling for a renewed investigation and demanding Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s resignation. Starmer dismissed Musk’s call as a “radical right-wing campaign.” This cavalier attitude highlights a deeper problem: an unwillingness among Britain’s political elite to confront uncomfortable criminal truths about the exploitation festering within their borders.

A Darker, Unspoken Truth

Former British MP Andrew Bridgen has exposed an even more insidious dimension to this crisis. Speaking with journalist Will Coleshill of Resistance GB, Bridgen revealed details of a vast, hidden network involved in the child sex trade—one that reaches deep into the fabric of British society. According to Bridgen, “hundreds and hundreds and hundreds” of individuals are implicated, and children are trafficked into the UK through unregulated small airports.

Bridgen’s allegations are staggering. He claims to have provided the government with the names of individuals, companies laundering money, and locations where children were taken under the guise of attending school. Instead, these children were exploited for pedophilic content and subjected to unimaginable abuse. His evidence was sent to MI5 and the National Crime Agency, yet no action has been taken. “When you see the names, you understand why,” Bridgen stated grimly.

A Network of Atrocity

The scale of this conspiracy is almost unfathomable. According to Bridgen, children are trafficked into the sex trade for about three years before being discarded—worn out by years of abuse. But the horror doesn’t end there. Bridgen alleges that, once these children are no longer “useful,” they are harvested for their organs, a grotesque practice that underscores the depravity of this network.

The former MP also pointed to a disturbing pattern of protection for powerful individuals. Referring to the late MP Greville Janner, whose alleged crimes were buried under layers of political and institutional silence, Bridgen highlighted how the elite shield their own. “There’s something wrong in our parliament when I’m attacking a Labour MP I believe to be a pedophile, and I’m getting flack from my own party,” he said, showcasing the complicity and cowardice within the system.

A Call for Justice

The grooming gang scandal was already a national disgrace, but Bridgen’s revelations demand immediate action. This is not merely about the crimes themselves—it is about a system that prioritizes reputations and political convenience over the lives of innocent children.

For too long, Britain’s political and law enforcement institutions have failed those they are sworn to protect. If the allegations of widespread complicity and cover-ups are true, then this is nothing short of a betrayal of the nation’s most vulnerable. It is not enough to express outrage or demand resignations. Concrete action must be taken to dismantle this network, prosecute those involved, and expose the truth, no matter how uncomfortable or damning it may be.

The question is: will Britain rise to this challenge, or will silence and inaction once again triumph over justice? For the sake of the countless victims, the time for answers is now.

The horrific attack took place in a public park, where the vulnerable victim was ambushed, beaten, raped in rounds, and robbed of her belongings. Instead of delivering justice for the victim and ensuring public safety, the court prioritized “help” and “integration” for the migrant perpetrators, shielding them behind juvenile law and deliberately minimizing public scrutiny of their heinous crimes...........

Hurricane Milton, a Lack of Leadership, and Election 2024

The Gulf Coast of Florida is bracing for what is being billed as an historic weather event as Hurricane Milton strengthens to a Category 5 storm with winds up to 150 mph. Coming on the heels of Hurricane Helene – which has devastated parts of Georgia and North Carolina – Milton may just be the defining moment of Election 2024. After all, what is the government’s purpose if it does not come to the aid of its citizens in moments of hardship? Right now, a lot of Americans are hurting, and when Milton makes landfall tomorrow (Oct. 9), more people will be in desperate need of help. Will the Biden-Harris administration step up to the plate? If the response to Helene is a harbinger of things to come, it’s unlikely.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) ineffectiveness has been a cornerstone of criticism regarding the lack of aid to people suffering in the aftermath of Helene. Yesterday (Oct. 7) on Fox & Friends, GOP vice presidential candidate JD Vance suggested the federal government’s poor response was due to a lack of leadership: “I think the fundamental mistake the Kamala Harris administration has made here … was that from the get-go you should have imposed military-style command and control.”

Vance asserted that an organized military approach would have cut back on the red tape and delivered goods and services to those most in need in a targeted fashion. Helicopter and airplane landings could have been coordinated, as well as food and water distributions. As it is, he said, “The problem here, I really believe, is it’s like the DMV [Department of Motor Vehicles] at industrial scale, and because of it, a lot of folks in North Carolina are suffering unnecessarily.”

Thus far, FEMA has been in the eye of the poor response storm, and those affected by the first hurricane are hopping mad about it. Residents of the two states have been begging for government assistance. However, it appears that those stepping up are private organizations and community relief efforts. As Liberty Nation’s Sarah Cowgill reported, “[H]eartlanders are deploying whatever resources they must to help their neighbors.” Meanwhile, hurricane survivors continue to hang on for the broke and illusive organization that could easily be dubbed the Federal Emergency Migrant Assistance program – the all-new FEMA.

On Fox, Will Cain asked Vance how he and former President Donald Trump would put Americans first in this situation:

“[T]he fundamental point [is] that the Biden Harris administration has turned FEMA effectively into an agency that helps to resettle and helps to deal with illegal immigration. That is just fundamentally going to distract focus from their core job of helping American citizens in their time of need. “

However, FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell vociferously disagreed with the Republican assertion that FEMA has used its funds for the illegal migrant population. USA Today quoted Criswell’s interview on ABC’s This Week news program:

“Criswell defended FEMA’s response and shot down Trump’s claims that the agency is short on disaster relief funds because money has been diverted to help undocumented immigrants and that help is being withheld from Republican areas, calling such assertions ‘frankly ridiculous and just plain false.’”

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) made an effort to clear up the matter on Fox News Sunday. “The streams of funding are different, that is not an untrue statement, of course.” But the Biden-Harris administration, under the direction of Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, has been putting federal money toward the resettlement of those who have crossed the border illegally. Johnson added, “That’s what the Biden administration, Kamala Harris and Secretary Mayorkas have been engaged in.”

The Federal Emergency Management Agency’s mission is to help people in times of natural disaster, and whatever the reason its response has been neither timely nor well-coordinated.

Hurricane Milton — Its True Cost Will Be at the Polls

No matter which cache of federal funds was used, those whose homes and lives have been destroyed by Helene and those who will suffer the same fate when Hurricane Milton lands likely don’t care. What concerns them is Mayorkas’ statement that FEMA is broke. Meanwhile, yesterday (Oct. 7), “[T]he Inspector General for Homeland Security released a report saying FEMA is sitting on at least $8.3 billion in untapped, unspent funds.”

While this political game of verbal gotcha takes place, hurricane victims are left holding the bag. Fortunately, Sunshine State residents have Gov. Ron DeSantis as their failsafe. DeSantis has proven to be a tried-and-tested leader when it comes to dealing with hurricanes. And it could be said that leadership – even more than money — appears to be what is sorely lacking in this challenging time.

But make no mistake: These unplanned events will affect the upcoming election as thousands of people are likely to express their displeasure with those who didn’t step up to assist their fellow Americans when they were in desperate need.

Kamala’s Brother-in-Law Set America on Fire

When the new administration was looking for an attorney general, Ben Crump, the ultimate BLM lawyer who represented the families of George Floyd, Michael Brown, Trayvon Martin and nearly every BLM case, recommended Tony West. Al Sharpton also mentioned West.

West, Crump argued, had been the third-highest ranking official in the Obama DOJ, “led various efforts to reduce racial bias, improve procedural fairness, strengthen the relationship between communities of color and law enforcement, and hold police departments accountable.”

Or as the New York Times put it, West “launched an investigation into the 2014 shooting death in Ferguson, Mo., of an unarmed 18-year-old black man, Michael Brown, by a white police officer”. Michael Brown had assaulted a store clerk and then the police officer who shot him in self-defense, but West proved to be a crucial link in the chain that unleashed BLM on America.

The ‘Ferguson Effect’ and the lies around the shooting of Michael Brown would help cripple policing and lead to race riots and then a crime wave spilling across the nation’s cities.

West had helped start the fire that burned down the country and killed thousands of Americans.

Crump however pointed out that West had another major asset besides the Ferguson Effect, he was also “the brother-in-law of Vice President-elect Kamala Harris.”

Big Government is indeed a small world.

While Biden’s inner circle proved wise enough not to bring in Kamala’s family into the cabinet, West wasted no time rushing in to consolidate Kamala’s position during the Biden palace coup.

The New York Times described West as her “secret weapon” who, coincidentally, was in Kamala’s residence when Biden ‘dropped out’ and ‘worked the phones’ helping “her reach out to would-be supporters” and “his own network of donors and business contacts”.

Since Kamala was in D.C. and West works for Uber in San Francisco (but also has a home on Martha’s Vineyard), thousands of miles away, he might not have just dropped by for a visit.

And West indeed worked fast.

Shortly thereafter, West pressed Kamala to bring in his former boss, Attorney General Eric Holder, to ‘vet’ vice presidential candidates. And West put himself on the 5-person vetting team. When Kamala picked Gov. Tim Walz, it was really the old Obama DOJ team that got it done.

Derek Anthony ‘Tony’ West, married to Kamala’s sister, Maya Harris, a radical ACLU activist, have been the power couple behind Kamala’s political career. Maya was the campaign chair of her sister’s 2020 presidential campaign. And when Kamala headed to her presidential campaign headquarters back then, Maya and her husband were by her side.

Maya was credited by campaign staffers with wrecking the campaign and this time around, Kamala’s campaign is officially being chaired by Biden’s old campaign chairwoman, Jen O’Malley Dillon, but West is very clearly acting as the unofficial chair of the 2024 campaign. West, who formerly co-chaired her transition team, has emerged as its number two.

The infighting between Kamala’s sister and campaign professionals likely made donors leery of allowing Maya a similar role, but family has always been in charge of her campaigns and career. Kamala’s vice presidential office fell apart the way her campaign did with most of the staffers heading out the door. CNN reported that “some fear the vice president is, as she has often done in her political life, leaning heavily on her sister Maya Harris, brother-in-law Tony West and niece Meena Harris, whom they sense exerting influence over everything from staff hires to political decisions.” There is every reason to believe that Maya, her daughter, and husband are still at it.

Maya, Tony West and Meena all have radical politics. Maya, an ACLU veteran, had previously been a top Hillary adviser, while West serves on an Obama Foundation Advisory Council.

Both Maya and West defended Islamic terrorists. At the ACLU, Maya Harris had campaigned against the War on Terror and West had defended the ‘American Taliban’: John Walker Lindh.

When Jews had accused CAIR, whose leaders had praised Hamas, of terrorist connections, Maya Harris rallied on its behalf, claiming that CAIR has “been a leading organization that has advocated for civil rights and civil liberties in the face of fear and intolerance, in the face of religious and ethnic profiling.”

Some anti-corporate activists are concerned about West because of his work for Pepsi and Uber, but there are more urgent issues from his record on BLM to his role in the slush fund from bank settlements misdirected to radical leftist political allies of Obama.

Under former Attorney General Holder, West negotiated massive “settlements” with banks over their actions involving the financial crisis. The settlements were attacked by activists for providing nothing or next to nothing for the victims in the financial disaster and by conservatives because they amounted to banks paying off the Obama administration’s backers.

The ‘slush fund’ amounting to between $1 and $3 billion was directed to leftist groups like ACORN and La Raza. And a House Judiciary Committee investigation obtained documents showing that West’s team had deliberately screened out conservative groups.

West’s deputy had emailed the Office of Legal Counsel asking, “[c]an you explain to Tony the best way to allocate some money toward an organization of our choosing.” Explaining the final settlement to the press team, West’s deputy wrote that the donation provisions require banks to “[m]ake donations to categories of entities we have specified (as opposed to what the bank might normally choose to donate to).”

Such a level of corruption is concerning. West has suggested that he will go back to working at his extremely lucrative position at Uber after the election, but Crump’s op-ed touting him for Attorney General suggests that he was interested in that role. And might be yet again.

While serving at the Justice Department, West had praised Al Sharpton, linked to years of racial violence in New York City, including the Crown Heights Pogrom against Jews, the assaults on Asian groceries and the Freddy’s massacre of Latino women, for his work on “reconciliation”.

Sharpton brought up West’s name during discussions about Biden’s next attorney general. He warned that there should be no hesitation in providing Tony West with a “waiver”. A possible reason for such a waiver would have been to exempt West from anti-nepotism rules due to Kamala’s position. While the Biden team did not listen to Crump and Sharpton, and did not pursue such a waiver, it is likely that Kamala would be more motivated to do so than Biden.

Tony West helped set America on fire by legitimizing BLM assaults on law enforcement and the justice system. He brokered some of the most corrupt settlements in the DOJ’s history.

And the next time you see him, he might be the attorney general.

Big Government and Big Business: Corruption That Can Be Fixed!

Definition leads to clarity. Clarity lead to understanding.  Understanding leads to good decision making.

It's long overdue for the nation to define what our massive and intrusive government has wrought on the nation.  If the founders were alive, they'd be aghast at the corruption and collusion between powerful entities in what can only be called an anti Constitution cabal.  Some might even call it treason.

 On August 14, 2024 J.B. Shurk published this article, Deep State Plutocrats Have Nowhere to Hide saying: 

The worst mistake the Deep State ever made was to turn conservatives against Big Business.  Traditionally, fighting corporate power was the purview of the political left.  Conservatives have generally backed “free markets” because they despise socialism’s predilection for choosing economic winners and losers.  Conservative voters have long seen government regulation as more of a threat than Wall Street wheeling and dealing.  

He went on to say:

Times are changing, though.  Over the last forty years, middle-class Americans who put their faith in “free markets” have gotten smacked upside the head by corporate interests time and again.  The savings and loan scandal, pension scams, derivatives-juiced market crashes, the housing collapse, the offshoring of good jobs, tech bubbles, predatory lending, reverse mortgages, and countless other corporate schemes have left working-class Americans in dire straits.  All of these various gut punches have produced a kind of “awakening” among “live free or die” Americans: “free markets” are an illusion, and the economic game is rigged.

He also makes this cogent observation:

  The president and Congress are nothing more than the organ grinder’s dancing monkey — there to distract the public while doing the bidding of those with real power.  When their influence extends to international institutions such as the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund, or the World Bank, we call these Deep State shell games the “rules-based international order.”  It is all farce. 

No wonder the plutocrats call President Trump an “authoritarian.”  He wants to be president, rather than play president.  He’s a direct threat to their unaccountable and unconstitutional Deep State.  And now that they’ve exposed themselves, there is nowhere left for them to hide.

I'm now a retired former owner of a pest control company, and I was heavily involved in my industry's affairs serving actively on four industry trade association boards in my state.

One of the things I tell owners is if they don't involve themselves in their industry's trade association, they don't have a clue what's going on, and one of the things one learns is there's a serious difference in the views of small business owners and large corporations.  

Large corporate entities like regulations and taxes because it impacts small business owners far more than large corporations, helping to eliminate competition, and that goes back in America to 1791 with the passage of the Whiskey Act. 

The tendency to think large corporations are fundamentally conservative in their values and business philosophy is a serious error in judgement. As allies I found the chemical manufacturers to be ...at best... leaky vessels, appeasers who threw us under the bus regularly to appease activists in and out of government, especially the activists who infest the EPA bureaucracy.  These large corporations even corrupt the trade associations that were created to protect their industry, many times turning them into catspaws for big government intrusion and abuse.   And that's true for all industries, especially the legal profession in this nation with the bar associations being not much more than kangaroo courts trying to destroy anyone who's not on board with leftist insanity, and the has some issues that should concern everyone. 

If we want a fix, we must heavily purge the federal bureaucracy, and the recent SCOTUS helps to do that, including eliminating entire departments such as the Department of Education, another Jimmy Carter disaster, which is what Trump wants to do because it has wasted billions of dollars failing to properly educate American children, to the tune of over 260 billion dollar in 2021 alone.  The court may wish to undertake eliminating another unconstitutional decision called the

Personally, I think a really good start would be the elimination of the EPA. Here's my now passed friend Dr. Jay Lehr's five year plan to do so.   Jay undertook this effort because he was one of the founders of EPA and said it hasn't done anything worthwhile since 1980.

As a side bar, recently Trump and Musk had a sit down discussion that just about broke the internet, one the left on both sides of the pond demanded not be shown by the way, because they want to "save democracy".   Imagine that.

Musk is all into this global warming idiocy, and Trump made it clear he wasn't.  When Trump abandoned the Paris Treaty on climate change the White House called Jay and said the President decided to take his advice on that.  Here's my

If failure to perform is the criteria for eliminating Departments, bureaus, agencies, etc., then it's my view we can dump over 80% of the federal government, and the only consequence is we'll save an enormous amount of money.  No one could possibly convince me the nation needs 438 agencies and sub-agencies in the federal government.  We need to "massively" cut their funding in the budget.  

One of the readers named Eric commented saying, and I think he said it well, from my perspective, the corporations seem to be in the same boat that every western nations finds itself in. Western governments are NO LONGER acting in the best interests of their nations or its inhabitants and corporations seem to be doing the same. Their blanket support for the left’s political parties/policies/social agendas etc isn’t in the best interests of the corporations or its shareholders. In fact, in most cases, it’s directly the opposite.

The government mandated EV transition is destroying the automobile industry. Pushing Woke nonsense has destroyed seemingly unstoppable corporate behemoths like Disney & Bud Light and alienated the consumer base of countless more. Soft on crime policies are destroying brick/mortar business throughout America and costing corporations billions in “shrinkage.” 

Social media’s efforts to censor us on behalf of the USG, has made them enemies of the people. The mainstream news media’s decision to ONLY push propaganda, cover up government crimes/corruption, lie, gaslight etc has practically bankrupted the whole industry- WaPo, NYT, CNN, MSNBC etc have all become a shell of their former self.

Which brings us to the heart of the matter:

1. If western civilization and its major corporations are no longer operating in their best interests, whose interests are they operating in? 
2. When corporations (almost universally) stop pursuing profits, are they still capitalist in nature?

The sooner the people charged with managing our countries and corporations we’ve founded are forced to answer these questions, the sooner the madness ends.
