Over the weekend, when the congresswoman was finding herself increasingly in the news, I reported on the take that Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN) had, the chair of the Republican Study Committee. He told Axios when asked if Cheney will still have her position in a month that "I don't know" and "That's up to her.
