Did COVID-19 break out of a research laboratory in China, the result of either incompetence or malice? Nope, not at all, the World Health Organization concluded after several weeks of investigation in Wuhan. WHO concluded that the likeliest scenario is a transfer from another species to human in the vicinity of that biological research facility that, er, Beijing doesn’t want anyone inspecting:...........Well, as long as investigators kept an open mind, what’s to debate? Er … maybe this report from the Associated Press at the end of December?.......To Read More....
My Take - A correspondent's comments:
Actually I think this article is missing a key bit regarding the latest WHO "findings" - now apparently they're suggesting that it didn't come from butchering meat in the wet market, but from FROZEN food brought there. Which is all the more unlikely. Especially since the first few patients had never even been to the wet market.
Plus, earlier reports were that the wet market had reopened long ago - so exactly how was WHO able to study jack squat there? Also, I believe that China STILL denied them access to the lab or at least to any actual investigation there.
Additionally, it's known that the lab had been collecting bat coronavirus, including from the bats over 1,000 miles from the wet market which have the closest related virus - and the lab had been conducting experiments/tests on those viruses.
Regardless,
this article hits the nail on the head in several ways - e.g., the WHO
report has zero credibility because their "investigation" was under
tight control of the Chinese, who have a highly vested interest in what
is or isn't made known.
