Have you seen
network news about the Kenosha riots?
People trying to protect their businesses
and homes are being called “militia”. As if they are some nut jobs in training
somewhere in the North Woods and aching to spill blood. Frankly I am
very surprised that there haven’t been even more incidents of citizens, abandoned
by law enforcement to their own devices, shooting rioters and pillagers.
I am getting to
the point where I believe that there are organized riot groups that are dispatched
to take advantage of targets of opportunity whenever the latest isolated police
confrontation goes bad. I don’t see any
of this getting under control until there is a firm, and very sadly bloody,
defense of law and civil society. It will get worse in the meantime.
Progressive
Democrats are rapidly losing control of their own narrative, especially when the
destruction spreads out of places where normal Americans have long since
written off as Progressive Democrat social experiments, and into their own
regular and normally civil towns.
That’s where
Basement Biden will squander his lead. It took Willie Horton to make an ass of
Michael Dukakis. Normals see wanton destruction in Big Democrat cities and they
don’t figure they are next.
Kenosha is
where the Progressive narrative and Democrat tacit support for the rioters
starts to unravel. Normals mentally write off mayhem in a Progressive Democrat city
as just another day in Utopia. But Kenosha? Where the hell is Kenosha?
South of
Milwaukee along the lake, but I think to many people it is a sign that the violence and
disorder could easily come next to their town. If a black guy gets shot by cops
anywhere at all, no matter what the circumstances (and I am not here to debate this particular
shooting), we are now increasingly sure that hundreds if not thousands of
rioters will systematically show up to inflict carnage and destruction almost
immediately.
So with no
partisan malice intended, Democrats better soon realize that their misbegotten Hellspawn
are Trump’s pathway to re-election, and that there are more than enough persuadable
Normals to decide that Trump may be their only hope to avoid such conflagrations.
Democrats have implicitly suggested to Normals that if Trump is out of office,
this crap will stop. I think that Democrats are on the precipice of losing that
argument, and with good reason. They no longer have control. Democrats ignored
the violence completely at their convention. Many noticed.
Kenosha is also
the first place where armed citizens have started to assert themselves. In
every Progressive city, citizens have stood by while the Destroyers have
obliterated their businesses, burned away their livelihoods, and destroyed
their dreams as politicians called off the police. In Kenosha, we see videos of
significant numbers of citizens with AR-15s defending their businesses and
their homes, knowing that the police will not help them.
So what does AP
make of this?
AP immediately identified
the armed citizens as right wing “militia”. I really don’t know what evidence
AP has that these people are part of organized para-military groups. Perhaps we will find out in the days to come,
but I suspect this is an effort to discredit anyone who tries to defend their
property.
Wisconsin is a
big deer hunting state. Citizens are gun friendly and gun savvy. You don’t need
to be part of a radical nut group to own an AR-15 and own a camo outfit. You only
need courage and a sense that you have been abandoned by law enforcement, in
order to show up at your business with determination to defend your property
and livelihood.
Sadly the
inevitable happened. There were shootings reportedly from armed citizens. So who
were the “victims”? ( if that is the right word, I am not sure) AP announced
that one was a resident of Silver Lake, WI. Silver Lake and Pine Lake are the
two most exclusive residential addresses in Lake Country outside Milwaukee. No
one without great wealth lives there.
So we aren’t
talking about some poor and oppressed ghetto kid trying to “breathe”. We’re talking about some
thrill seeking, overwhelmingly likely White rich kid, out there torching businesses
of middle and working class people just for the hell of it. And we are supposed
to get on the BLM train for this?
Where will those AP reporters “investigate”
tomorrow? Surely they will be looking into the background of the person who was
shot. We will see. I suspect when they find out this person was White, rich,
and getting his jollies by arson and assault, we will hear nothing more. Anyone wish to bet otherwise?
How much
stranger can this narrative become before it collapses, and enough Normals decide to take down Biden The Sock Puppet with
it?
