For those who hold the Bible to be true, there is no question that life begins at conception. David claims as much in Ps. 139:13-16, where he says that God wove “Him” together. David did not say that God wove together the substance that would become him. It is clear that if the fertilized egg is left, then a child will come forth. There is no question. The egg will not produce anything other than a child. It is not a part of the mother, and it is not a clump of cells. The thing in a woman is a child and to stop its growth is killing it.
