The Supreme Court: Cowards, Crooks, or Compromised?

They appear to be cowards or crooks or compromised.  Cowards, crooks, or compromised seems to be the only way to explain the decision-making of the United States Supreme Court.  The Court's unwillingness to make any decisions regarding the presidential election of 2020 is a historic failure.  These last twelve months have seen the Court refuse to do its duty.  The Court refused to be a co-equal branch of the federal government.

With the Bush v. Gore of 2000, there is legal precedent.  Just twenty short years ago, the U.S. Supreme Court took Bush v. Gore, a presidential election case, so the precedent was there.  Over this last year, the Supreme Court had the opportunity to address election law questions before the election last summer, right before the election, right after the election, and even prior to the inauguration in January.  On all these occasions, the majority of the Supreme Court judges refused to hear any case dealing with the presidential election.  They stuck their heads in the sand and acted as if they had no role.

One could argue, successfully, that January 6 on the Washington Mall happened because of the lack of integrity and guts in the Supreme Court.  Because of their blatant disassociation with being a coequal branch with the presidency and Congress, the Court has lost enormous respect from half of America.  This is dangerous to a democratic republic.  One must ask, why would they be willing to do this?  Are they cowards, crooks, compromised, or something else?  Can these be the only answers to this seemingly impotent Supreme Court?..............To Read More....

Former Wisconsin Judge: ‘Our Court System Has Been Deeply Intimidated by the Left’

A former judge from Wisconsin, who is now representing the Trump campaign in the state, told lawmakers this week that he believes intimidation by the left has prevented lawyers and judges from accepting and hearing election fraud cases.

“We have to acknowledge that the court system has been deeply intimidated by the left, just as the lawyers have been intimidated,” James Troupis told the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee on Wednesday. “And that’s a sad, sad state of affairs.”

The committee was conducting a hearing that explored voting “irregularities” from the 2020 general election. During the hearing, witnesses testified about a litany of alleged instances of election fraud occurring in multiple contested states.

Their claims are backed up by mounting evidence from witnesses, whistleblowers, and data experts that have emerged in recent weeks alleging that a proportion of ballots cast and counted in these battleground states were done so under irregular and fraudulent circumstances. Much of the evidence was presented through affidavits in the lawsuits filed by the Trump campaign or third parties, and through state legislature hearings hosted by Republicans......During the Senate hearing, Troupis, one of the witnesses, explained why he decided to represent the campaign in their effort to challenge election results when many lawyers refused. He said that he believes many prominent law firms did not want to participate in the election lawsuits due to a fear of retaliation by the left.

“One of the reasons I was called because virtually every major law firm in this country and in this city refused to represent the president. Not because of the lack of merit in his claims—we’ve certainly demonstrated that there’s merit—but because of the cancel culture,” Troupis said...........Similarly, Trump campaign legal adviser Jenna Ellis said she’s received “hundreds” of threats, including anonymous phone calls, since taking up election cases..............To Read More....

 

America's Jews and Christians Are Failing the Test of Their Lives

If you are a Jew or Christian in America, the seriousness of your Judaism or Christianity is now being tested.

People look back in time and wonder how religious people, especially religious leaders -- specifically, the clergy -- could have failed in times of moral crisis. The failure of most rabbis, priests and pastors to speak out today -- when the risk to personal safety is so much less than it was in communist and fascist countries -- should provide the answer: Religion doesn't have all that much impact on most religious people. During comfortable times, it provides two essentials to a happy and fulfilled life -- community and meaning -- but when tested, it often fails like an umbrella that fails to expand just as it starts to rain.

America is being taken over by violent mobs; a vast amount of destruction and stealing has taken place (with little police intervention and the apathy of our political leaders). Why aren't all clergy delivering thundering sermons about the Seventh Commandment, "Thou shalt not steal"? Does it now come with an asterisk?...... To Read More....
