Will the Real RFK, Jr. Please Stand Up!

 By Rich Kozlovich

There's been a lot of talk about RFK, Jr. and his nomination for HHS Secretary, and his views on MAHA (how to Make America Healthy Again), which will come up in his hearings, and this isn't a shoo in as the Democrats now hate him, and the conservatives who really don't trust him.   I'm not sure he's getting the nod.

While he was right about these false covid vaccines, and I almost broke out in hives defending him over that, the fact is he's an anti-vax nut for all vaccinations.   He now claims he's not against vaccinations, he for safety.  I've followed his claptrap for years, that's a scam answer and he knows it.  This safety angle has been a scam used by environmentalists forever, called the precautionary principle.  You have to prove it's safe or you can't use it.  That's called proving a negative, and it can't be done.  You can't prove something is safe, you can only prove something is unsafe.

My views about RFK, Jr. are well known to regular readers of P&D, and they're not kind, Pay Attention! He's a Kennedy!!!!! and Grading Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on the Curve.  His radicalism knows no boundaries, he even wants those who disagree with him on the fraud of global warming put in prison charged as war criminals.   But I almost really broke out in hives when I found my views of him and Caroline Kennedy's views are in harmony, only she's really brutal about her cousin. calling him a "predator".  The article goes of to say:

She described her cousin’s basement, garage and dorm as being an epicenter for drug use, where he would also put baby chickens and mice in blenders to feed to his hawks. “It was often a perverse scene of despair and violence,”..... “preys on the desperation of parents of sick children,” she told senators, noting that he has vaccinated his own children while discouraging others from vaccinating theirs.

She also pointed out that Kennedy plans to still profit off a lawsuit against pharmaceutical company Merck over Gardasil, its human papillomavirus vaccine that prevents cervical cancer. Last year, he made over $850,000 from the arrangement.  “In other words, he is willing to enrich himself by denying access to a vaccine that can prevent almost all forms of cervical cancer and which has been safely administered to millions of boys and girls,” ..........“I watched his younger brothers and cousins follow him down the path of drug addiction.

  1. While criticism of the anti-science crowd is warranted, one needs to do so with science & fact. Every time you complain about RFK Jr. it comes across as "He's just not smart enough to understand." Right now people take a very dim view of establishment science, and with good reason. Entire studies have been skewed, if not faked, for decades. Anything other than an open forum followed by brand new blind studies is not going to sway anyone. So be honest and ask yourself, how much is it really a matter of RFK et al not 'understanding' the science and how much is the various scientific factions lashing out because they are being challenged. You can dislike him all you want, he may know the science, he may not; but right now the science community needs someone ballsy enough to ask questions and force answers. Any dodging will simply make you look like nothing more than a gatekeeper of the status quo.

    1. While I agree scientific integrity has become an oxymoron, that doesn’t change the fact he’s not smart enough to understand because ideology makes smart people stupid, and he qualifies, or he wouldn’t have been taking the radical positions he’s taken over the years.

He got one thing right, and that was the corruption behind these false vaccinations, and I defended his position because I knew it was accurate, and publish a lot of articles dealing with the fraud surrounding the covid scare. But getting one thing right doesn’t give him a pass on all the damage he’s done over the years.

As for dodging, I have no idea what you’re talking about.

    2. "That doesn’t change the fact he’s not smart enough to understand because ideology makes smart people stupid, and he qualifies" - This is exactly why people are willing to listen to RFK and discount people who have this thinking. The major problem is that the change in technology has given millions access to data that is otherwise locked away in academic depts. Now there's not only people 'unqualified' to be scientists but those who are and who have just not had access looking everything over. Let's examine all of the ‘facts’ that have been disproven in the last century. How many ‘truths’ were shot down not by professional scientists but mere amateurs asking why. And this is happening in every field of research. So maybe RFK doesn’t have a Ph.D in Biology or Chemistry, but what about those who do. What about those in other fields, say mathematics or physics, who may not know the biology but absolutely do know how to read data? Do they not have any say either? Do you know what happens to researchers and scientists who dare question others in a different field? I do, every time those with questions are told they just don’t understand, and are academically persecuted. You’ve stated that RFK got one thing right, the Covid vaccines; but how do you know and more importantly why should anyone trust your credentials to say so. And here’s the real rub here, the age of credentialism and academic authority is on the ropes (hopefully to end). Simply saying he is or isn’t right won’t cut it anymore. Instead scientists will have to go point by point to defend or refute every single one. To state that he, & others, just doesn’t understand is a dodge, pure and simple.

It’s no longer about RFK anymore, it’s about those who question. And the entire scientific world is split into two camps watching; those who want to reestablish the scientific method & integrity and those who say others just aren’t smart enough to understand. After reading through your other articles regarding RFK, GMOs, pesticides and other science issues I think you should take a step back and examine which camp you’re in, and which you should be in.

    3. I have no reason to re-examine the camp I'm in. I believe everything should be questioned, and as for questioning my credentials, that’s easy. I have none! I’m an autodidact who believes in following the facts where ever they may lead. Time and truth are on the same side, the sublime convergence of history and reality, and no matter what subject I’ve written about, whether it’s been about the fraud of global warming, pesticides, agriculture, GMO’s, the covid fraud, or anything else I’ve written about time has been on my side.
