The title, "Censorship is Free Speech" is...again....an effort to demonstrate the leftist embrace of Orwellian language known as "new speak". The left has no boundaries, and no solid moral foundation, other than, hate, greed, envy, lies, and violence. Those are the tools they use to attain and hold power in order to control everyone's life. As a result, they need to reinvent themselves unendingly, changing themselves, and their movement, into angels of light in order to fool the masses.
One day they're racists, the next day they're the great defenders of those they abused in the past, all the while accusing those who were the real defenders against racism. Whatever works for the moment, that's what they embrace and what works for them, even if the latest narrative they embrace is diametrically opposed to the positions they embraced yesterday.
Richard Stengel is the Biden transition “Team Lead”for the US Agency for Global Media, the US government media empire that includes Voice of America, the Middle East Broadcasting Networks and Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty. Stengel, an Obama administration alumnus, wrote last year in a Washington Post op-ed that US freedom of speech was too unfettered and that changes must be considered.
In the Post op-ed, “Why America needs a hate speech law,” Stengel argued: [A]s a government official traveling around the world championing the virtues of free speech, I came to see how our First Amendment standard is an outlier.........

Social media users are urged to report "misleading" materials to the Secretary of State's office.m A government office created by California Democrats is monitoring hashtags, classifying political speech it opposes by “threat level”, taking screenshots of posts, and then storing the information indefinitely, before reporting the offending speech to social media companies for censorship.“Election Security is our number one priority,” the Office claims. But its focus isn’t securing elections by fighting hackers or voter fraud. Instead it’s fighting “the spread of mis- and disinformation”. Parler, the social media alternative to Twitter, has been banned from the Google Play store barring it from Android devices and just got threatened by Apple it will be removed from their App Store, which would make the app inaccessible on Apple devices, unless it implements a censorship policy. They’ve been given 24 hours. And there are a number of other accounts and cancellations occurring. It is a wholesale assault on the entire Republican Party. Not just Trump supporters. Make no mistake. This is a bid for one-party rule................

The group first took issue with Trump’s usage of social media outlets to question the results of the Nov. 3 election and his allegations of voter fraud. “We understand the desire to permanently suspend him now, but it should concern everyone when companies like Facebook and Twitter wield the unchecked power to remove people from platforms that have become indispensable for the speech of billions— especially when political realities make those decisions easier,” the ACLU statement read............
Insurance Firm Fires Patriotic Demonstrator for Exercising 1st Amendment Rights OUTSIDE of Capitol - By A lawyer has been fired by an insurance firm after attending a mostly peaceful protest outside of the U.S. Capitol yesterday, as the 1st Amendment is no more in the former land of the free. Patriotic attorney Paul Davis was fired from Goosehead Insurance, Inc. because he was outside of the Capitol livestreaming the protest. He did not storm or breach the Capitol, but that does not matter. He will be crucified anyway because the Bill of Rights and Constitution is no more in America. The cowardly Goosehead CEO and co-founder Mark Jones released a statement filled with doublespeak that is emblematic of the selling out of America by the corporate elite..............

The pieces are steadily being put in place to inaugurate what will begin as mere restrictions that inevitably, given human nature and the Left’s worship of power and control, will become outright persecution of anybody who doesn’t toe the Left’s line. It will then only be a short-step to something much worse....................

By Banning Trump And Mass Banning Conservatives Today, Twitter Can Now Be Considered As A Publisher And Should Lose Section 230 Protections According To Trump’s Executive Order On Preventing Online Censorship - - Twitter permanently banned Trump from the social media platform Friday, citing the risk that he would incite further violence. He had 88.6 million followers. Back in October President Donald Trump tweeted “REPEAL SECTION 230!!! Trump allies and conservatives have cried censorship over Trump’s ban.Late Friday, President Trump tweeted from the @POTUS Twitter account, accusing Twitter of silencing him and his supporters. All four tweets were then deleted.
Twitter also permanently suspended the @TeamTrump account for ban evasion, the company said late Friday. Also, millions of mostly conservative accounts were removed. By banning Trump and mass banning conservatives today, Twitter just LOST Section 230 protections.
